阐述了新世纪中国企业质量工作变革的原因,提出了质量工作变革的方向以及企业最高管理者在质量工作变革中优先重视的问题.同时,也提请企业领导思考,时代变化了,变革已经不是千年等一回的事情,它应该成为企业质量管理工作的一部分,而且是最重要的部分.     

Assessing Strengths, Resilience, and Growth to Guide Clinical Interventions.

Recently, the field of mental health has incorporated a growing interest in strengths, resilience, and growth, psychological phenomena that may be associated with healthy adjustment trajectories and profitably integrated into strategies for clinical assessment and practice. This movement constitutes a significant shift from traditional deficit-oriented approaches. Addressing clinical practitioners, this article (a) provides a broad overview of these constructs and phenomena, (b) discusses their relevance for clinical assessment and intervention, and (c) describes selected strategies and approaches for conducting assessments that can guide intervention. Development of a Clinical Guide to Enhance Care for Suicidal Patients.

Suicidal thoughts and behavior are common among mental health patients and are a source of stress for clinicians, who typically receive limited formal training on suicide. The U.S. Air Force initiated a project to enhance care and increase practitioner confidence when working with suicidal patients. A clinical guide was developed containing 18 recommendations for assessing and managing suicidality, strategies for meeting the recommendations, and clinical tools to facilitate quality care. Training opportunities and marketing efforts accompanied distribution of the guide. This initial article reviews the guide's development, content, and evaluation plan as a model that other health care systems, clinics, or training programs can follow to enhance care for suicidal patients. Replies to comments by K. Marshall, S. A. Mitchell, and C. Spezzano (see records 83-14401, 83-14402, and 83-14404, respectively) on the Special Section of Psychoanalytic Psychology, Vol 12(1), on "Contemporary structural psychoanalysis and relational psychoanalysis" and on the article by F. Busch (see record 1995-34118-001). The author expresses concern that most of the commentary failed to see his attempt to open a dialog between the respective adherents of structural and relational psychoanalysis.
