本文在干式切削条件下,选用钴基硬质合金无涂层数控刀具和钴基硬质合金基体TiAlSiN与TiAlN/Ta涂层数控刀具,分别切削淬火态45钢(52HRC);车削时,采用SW-1车刀空间受力分析仪测量刀具在车削状态下的三向力;结合对被加工件的表面粗糙度测定,探讨TiAlSiN、TiAlN/Ta涂层刀具在相同条件下的三向力、摩擦力和摩擦系数与无涂层钴基硬质合金刀具的差异。结果表明,在车削高硬度材料时,涂层及其成分对车刀三向力和摩擦系数均有较大影响,TiAlN体系中加入稀土元素Ta形成的TiAlN/Ta多层涂层刀具的三向力、摩擦系数明显小于TiAlSiN涂层刀具,而且被加工件的表面粗糙度更小。 相似文献

Influence of tool geometry on the quality of surface produced is well known and hence any attempt to assess the performance of end milling should include the tool geometry. In the present work, experimental studies have been conducted to see the effect of tool geometry (radial rake angle and nose radius) and cutting conditions (cutting speed and feed rate) on the machining performance during end milling of medium carbon steel. The first and second order mathematical models, in terms of machining parameters, were developed for surface roughness prediction using response surface methodology (RSM) on the basis of experimental results. The model selected for optimization has been validated with the Chi square test. The significance of these parameters on surface roughness has been established with analysis of variance. An attempt has also been made to optimize the surface roughness prediction model using genetic algorithms (GA). The GA program gives minimum values of surface roughness and their respective optimal conditions. 相似文献

This paper shows a complete approach to solve a given problem, from the experimentation to the optimization of different cutting parameters. To solve an industrial problem of slotting CoCr29Ni10W7, a Cobalt-based refractory material, we have implemented a design of experiment to determine the effect of cutting parameters on tool life, surface roughness, and cutting forces. After theses trials, an optimization approach has been implemented to find the lowest manufacturing cost while respecting the roughness constraints and cutting force limitation constraints. The optimization approach is based on the Response Surface Method using the Sequential Quadratic programming algorithm and Kriging interpolation for a constrained problem. 相似文献

Soldering and abrasive wear of die-casting tools are some of the biggest problems facing the aluminium die-casting industry. The understanding of the tribological behaviour is crucial to design new tool steels and tool steel-coating systems. The present study aims at investigating aluminium adhesion of aluminium/tool steel pair, performing sliding tests at high temperature with ball-on-disc configuration to reproduce solid/solid interaction. Different test conditions have been conducted in order to select the optimal test parameters to obtain aluminium adhesion on disc surface. Once the lab test has been designed, the high temperature tribological performance of different hot work tool steels (uncoated and coated by PVD) sliding against aluminium has been studied to allow proper die material design and selection. 相似文献

Nanofluids for grinding process are prepared by mixing the multiwall carbon nanotubes with SAE20W40 oil. In this experimental study, the surface roughness and micro cracks are analysed. The material AISI D3 tool steel is most frequently use for mould and dies which is preferred to analyse the surface characteristics. Experimental results indicate that the surface finish of the machined work piece increases from micro level to nano level. L8 orthogonal array was used to optimize the machining parameters in Taguchi design of experiment technique using Minitab 15 software. Empirical model for the prediction of output parameters has been developed using regression analysis and the results are compared empirically for with and without nanofluids in grinding process. The analysis of variance and F test were used to determine the significant parameter affecting the surface roughness. Atomic force microscopy analysis indicated that carbon nanotube mixed with nanofluid in grinding process has improved the surface characteristics like surface roughness and micro cracks. 相似文献

Recent studies show that resistance to friction and wear between the arch-wire and the bracket are of great importance for the quality of orthodontal treatment. To optimize these phenomena specific surface treatments have been developed, but a major difficulty is the methodology for comparing and improving the given palliatives. A specific ex-situ fretting test has been developed which permits the micro-slidings generated by the occlusion movements to be superimposed on macro-slidings generated by the teeth displacement.In this study the friction force between brackets and arch-wires during combined macro-/micro-slidings has been investigated. Various stainless steel bracket/arch-wire contacts have been analyzed.
