Operational features of excitable Belousov–Zhabotinsky-type light-sensitive media that can be used to implement image-processing operations are discussed. They embrace (i) the main primitive responses of such media to light excitation as a function of medium acidity, temperature and light exposure, (ii) the characteristics of temporal evolution of stored media and (iii) the resolution and information content inherent in images stored by excitable media. It is shown that controlling the acidity of the medium, its temperature and the duration of light exposure enables one to get reproducible results.  相似文献

Aerators are essential and crucial auxiliary devices in intensive culture, especially in industrial culture in China. In this paper, we propose a real-time expert system for anomaly detection of aerators based on computer vision technology and existing surveillance cameras. The expert system includes two modules, i.e., object region detection and working state detection. First, we present a small object region detection method based on the region proposal idea. Moreover, we propose a novel algorithm called reference frame Kanade-Lucas-Tomasi (RF-KLT) algorithm for motion feature extraction in fixed regions. Then, we describe a dimension reduction method of time series for establishing a feature dataset with obvious boundaries between classes. Finally, we use machine learning algorithms to build the feature classifier. The proposed expert system can realize real-time, robust and cost-free anomaly detection of aerators in both the actual video dataset and the augmented video dataset. This paper describes the influence of e-beam irradiation and constant voltage stress on the electrical characteristics of metal-insulator-semiconductor structures, with double layer high-k dielectric stacks containing HfTiSiO:N and HfTiO:N ultra-thin (1 and 2 nm) films. The changes in the electrical properties were caused by charge trapping phenomena which is similar for e-beam irradiation and voltage stress cases. The current flow mechanism was analyzed on the basis of pre-breakdown, soft-breakdown and post-breakdown current-voltage (J-V) experiments. Based on α-V analysis (α=d[ln(J)]/d[ln(V)]) of the J-V characteristics, a non-ideal Schottky diode-like current mechanism with different parameters in various ranges of J-V characteristics is established, which limits the current flow in these structures independent of irradiation dose or magnitude of applied voltage during stress.  相似文献

Robots, as the creation of humans, became an irreplaceable component in human society. With the advancement of technologies, robots have become more and more intelligent and have been widely used in many fields, such as disease diagnosis, customer services, healthcare for the older people, and so on. As robots made our lives much more convenient than ever before, they also brought many potential risks and challenges in technology, security, and ethic. To better understand the development of robots, we proposed a concept of a robot’s living space and analyzed the role of robots in our society. In this paper, we focus on setting a theoretical framework of the robot’s living space to further understand the human-robot relationship. The research in this paper contains three central aspects. First, we interpret the concept of the robot’s living space and the functions of each space. Second, we analyze and summarize the relative technologies which support robots living well in each space. Finally, we provide advice and improvement measures based on a discussion of potential problems caused by the developments of robots. With the trend of robots humanization and human-robot society integration, we should seriously consider how to collaborate with intelligent robots to achieve hybrid intelligence. To build a harmonious human-robot integrated society, studying the robot’s living space and its relationship with humans is the pre-requisite and roadmap.  相似文献

In solar energy harvesting research, there is growing interest in the study of photoelectrochemical (PEC) properties of the following classes of semiconductor materials: metal oxides and silicon-based compounds. The motivation is that such materials are being successfully used as photoelectrode in PEC cells. Special attention has been given to the wide band gap materials. This review discusses, from the material science perspective, the recent literature relating to two wide band gap semiconductor materials: one metal oxide, titanium dioxide (TiO2), and one silicon-based compound, silicon carbide (SiC). Emphasis is placed on TiO2 and SiC thin films for PEC applications. Materials characteristics, synthesis methods and recent photocatalytic applications are presented. Finally, the interesting effect of the efficiency increase of PEC devices developed from a hetero-junction of TiO2 and SiC is discussed.  相似文献

The widespread use of Internet of Things (IoT) in various wireless sensor networks applications has increased their importance in recent years. IoT is a smart technology that connects anything anywhere at any time. These smart objects, which connect the physical world with the world of computing infrastructure, are expected to permeate all aspects of our daily lives and revolutionize a number of application domains such as healthcare, energy conservation, and transportation. As wireless networking expands, the disadvantage of wireless communication is clearly obvious. People's apprehension over the IoT's dependability has therefore skyrocketed. IoT networks' key requirements are dependability, channel security, fault tolerance, and reliability. Monitoring the IoT networks depends on the availability and correct functioning of all the network nodes. Recent research has proposed promising solutions to address these challenges. This article systematically examines recent articles that use meta-heuristic and nature-inspired algorithms to establish reliable IoT networks. Eighteen articles were analyzed in four groups. Results showed that reliable enhancement mechanisms in IoT networks increase fault node detection, network efficiency, and lifetime and attain energy optimization results in the IoT concept. Additionally, it was discovered in the literature that the current studies focus on how to effectively use edge network capabilities for IoT application executions and support, along with the related needs.  相似文献

The importance of the mobile phone in the life of adolescents has led observers to speak of a Mobile Youth Culture. One of the central characteristics of this youth culture is the use of the mobile phone as a means to display or enhance one’s status in the peer group. To date, however, little attention has gone out to the different uses adolescents may have for their mobile phones. Therefore, this study aims to further our understanding of the heterogeneity in adolescent mobile phone use by examining whether we can distinguish between different ‘mobile lifestyles’ within the Mobile Youth Culture. Drawing on a quantitative survey among 1943 Flemish adolescents (12–18 years), we differentiated three lifestyles based on their attitudes towards the mobile phone as a fashion article, as a display of one’s popularity and as a display of one’s time scarcity. A two-step cluster procedure based on respondents’ scores on these three mechanisms revealed three different segments: trendy users (N = 603), engaged users (N = 864) and thrifty users (N = 436). These segments showed significantly different profiles in terms of socio-demographics, their use of the mobile phone in the presentation of the Self and the mobile phone’s role in their friendship relationships.  相似文献

Generally, optoelectronic devices are fabricated at a high temperature. So the stability of properties for transparent conductive oxide (TCO) films at such a high temperature must be excellent. In the paper, we investigated the thermal stability of Ga-doped ZnO (GZO) transparent conductive films which were heated in air at a high temperature up to 500 °C for 30 min. After heating in air at 500 °C for 30 min, the lowest sheet resistance value for the GZO film grown at 300 °C increased from 5.5 Ω/sq to 8.3 Ω/sq, which is lower than 10 Ω/sq. The average transmittance in the visible light of all the GZO films is over 90%, and the highest transmittance is as high as 96%, which is not influenced by heating. However, the transmittance in the near-infrared (NIR) region for the GZO film grown at 350 °C increases significantly after heating. And the grain size of the GZO film grown at 350 °C after annealing at 500 °C for 30 min is the biggest. Then dye-sensitized TiO2 NPs based solar cells were fabricated on the GZO film grown at 350 °C (which exhibits the highest transmittance in NIR region after heating at 500 °C for 30 min) and 300 °C (which exhibits the lowest sheet resistance after heating at 500 °C for 30 min). The dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) fabricated on the GZO film grown at 350 °C exhibits superior conversion efficiency. Therefore, transparent conductive glass applying in DSSCs must have a low sheet resistance, a high transmittance in the ultraviolet–visible–infrared region and an excellent surface microstructure.  相似文献
