The ternary interaction of naphthochrome green (NCG) with cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) and rare earths (REs: Yb, Dy, Er and Eu) has been investigated with the microsurface adsorption–spectral correction technique (MSASC). The aggregation of NCG on CTAB obeys the Langmuir isothermal adsorption. The enrichment of NCG on CTAB and the presence of NaCl sensitize the complexation between REs and NCG. Both the binary aggregate and the ternary complex were characterized in the presence and absence of NaCl at pH 8.30 at 20 and 40℃.  相似文献

Solid-liquid phase equilibrium data for binary (L-arabinose-water) and (D-xylose-water) systems at temperatures from (269.85-298.05) K and ternary (L-arabinose-D-xylose-water) system at temperatures of 273.85 K,278.85 K and 284.45 K were measured at atmospheric pressure.The ternary phase diagrams of the systems were constructed on the base of the measured solubility.Two pure solid phases were formed at given temperatures,including pure L-arabinose and pure D-xylose,which were confirmed and determined by the method of Schreinemakers' wet residue.At the same temperature,the crystallization region of L-arabinose was larger than D-xylose's.The acquired solubility data were then correlated using the NRTL model,Wilson model and Xu model.The calculated solubility with the three models agreed well with the experimental values.  相似文献

The effect of alcohol on the aqueous two-phase system properties of SDS/CTAB/H2O/Na2SO4 system was studied by the pseudo ternary phase diagram. The electrostatic forces (both attraction and repulsion) between cationic surfactant and anionic surfactant decreased because of the interaction of alcohol hydroxyl group and surfactant polar group. As a result, the phase area width of aqueous two-phase system increased. Long chain alcohol (more than five carbonatoms), which was in high concentration in the SDS/CTAB/H2O/Na2SO4) system, caused the anionic aqueous two-phase system area to vanish and the cationic aqueous two-phase system area to become wider. The CTAB rich phase turned from top phase to bottom phase.  相似文献

Vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLE) data were measured for ternary system water + ethanol + 1-butyl-3- methylimidazolium acetate ([bmim][OAc]), in a relatively wide range of ionic liquid (IL) mass fractions up to 0.8. Six sets of complete T-x-y data were obtained, in which the mole fraction of ethanol on IL-free basis was fixed separately at 0.1, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, and approximate 0.98. The non-random-two-liquid (NRTL) and electrolyte non-random-two-liquid (eNRTL) equations were used for correlation, showing similar deviations. The ternary VLE was also modeled with the correlation from two data sets, with the mole fractions of ethanol on IL-free basis being 0.1 and approximate 0.98. The VLE data were also reproduced satisfactorily. With the eNRTL model, the root-mean-square deviation for temperature is 0.79 K and that for vapor-phase mole fraction is 0.0094. The calculations are in good agreement with experimental data. The effect of the IL on the VLE behavior of the volatile components is also illustrated.  相似文献

The bench-scale cooling crystallization for ternary solution of L-ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) was studied.The solid-liquid phase diagram of Vitamin C-water-ethanol system was obtained on the basis of differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) curves. The heat of crystallization of Vitamin C was calculated with the aid of quantitative analysis. According to the population balance equation under unsteady state, the rates of nucleation and growth were determined. The parameters of crystallization kinetics equations were estimated by regression of experimental data. Crystal morphology and size were determined with x-ray diffraction and TA Ⅱ Coulter Counter.  相似文献

Incorporating of hydrous ferric oxide(HFO) inside porous supports with large sizes has become an effective way to decontaminate the water from heavy metals. Ubiquitous anions like sulfate are usually present in high concentrations in water, and might greatly affect adsorption behavior of hybrid HFO. Here, a polymer-based HFO-CPS was fabricated by encapsulating nano-HFO inside a chloromethylated polystyrene polymer(CPS) and the reactivity of HFO-CPS with Cu(Ⅱ) was evaluated in the presence of sulfate ions.Surface complexation theory was firstly employed to describe the effect of sulfate on Cu(Ⅱ) adsorption edges of hybrid HFO-CPS, where constant capacitance model(CCM) was adopted. The available weak adsorption site Fe_((2))OH of hybrid HFO-CPS was found to decrease from 20% Fe to 5% Fe, which might be caused by the pore plugging effect after HFO encapsulation. With the assumption that a ternary complex was formed, the effect of sulfate on Cu(Ⅱ) adsorption by HFO-CPS were successfully described by CCM using the optimized Fe_((2))OH site under different sulfate concentrations(1 or 10 mmol·L~(-1)) and Cu/Fe ratios(0.0042 or 0.0252). It is confirmed that the formation of Fe OHCu SO_4 ternary surface complexes played an important role in enhancing Cu(Ⅱ) adsorption on HFO-CPS in the presence of sulfate.  相似文献

Herein,conductivity measurements have been carried out to explore the interaction between cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB,a cationic surfactant) and antibiotic drug(cefixime trihydrate(CMT)) in water and also in occurrence of inorganic salts(NaCl,Na_2 SO_4 and Na_3 PO_4) over the temperature range of 303.15-323.15 K with an interval of 5 K.In all cases,two critical micelle concentrations(c~*) were achieved for the CMT-surfactant system.Addition of CMT drug to CTAB solution decreases the values of c~*which indicates the interaction between CMT and CTAB.Both values of c~*for CMT-CTAB mixture in the presence of salts are lower in magnitude compared to the aqueous medium which indicates that micellization of the CMT-CTAB mixed system is favorable in salt solution.The values of △G_m~0 were obtained to be negative indicating the spontaneity of the micellization process and the extent of spontaneity further increases by means of rising temperature.The obtained outcomes from the ΔHm0 and ΔSm0 values disclose that the interactions between CMT and CTAB are mostly electrostatic along with hydrophobic in nature.The thermodynamic parameters of transfer and enthalpy-entropy compensation phenomenon were also determined and discussed in detail.  相似文献

Formation of mineral scales on heat exchangers is a persistent and expensive problem.In the present paper,the calcium carbonate scale inhibition by two inhibitors,polyacrylic acid(PAA) and 2-phosphonobutane-1,2,4-tricarboxylic acid (PBTCA) has been studied in a pool boiling system.It is found that PBTCA has a better inhibition effect than PAA under the identical conditions.X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transform-infrared(FTIR) analyses demonstrate that the content of vaterite increases as inhibition effects increase.The metastable crystal froms of vaterite and aragonite are stabilized kinetically in the presence of inhibitors.The relationship between the inhibition effect and the fractal dimension has also been investigated.The result shows that the fractal dimension is higher in the presence of inhibitors.The better the inhibition efect,the higher the fractal dimension.The step morphology was observed by atomic force microscopy(AFM) images.It is shown that the step space on the calcium carbonate surface increases in the presence of inhibitors.Moreover,with the increase of inhibition effect,both the step space and the fractal dimension increase.The step bunching is found on the calcium carbonate by AFM.The better the inhibition effect of the inhibitor,the slower the step velocity in the unbunched location.As a result,the step space becomes wider in the presence of PBCA than that in the presence of PAA.  相似文献

2-Hydroxy-1,4-napthoquinone(lawsone) natural red-orange dye was extracted from fresh henna(Lawsonia inermis) leaves in an alkaline media.The lawsone-surfactant solubilization constants(K_(LS))were calculated for the first time by using cationic cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB) and anionic sodium dodecyl sulphate(SDS).The standard free energy,concentration of solubilized lawsone and number of lawsone molecules solubilized into micelles were calculated and discussed.Surface excess,minimum surface area per molecule,surface pressure,free energy(adsorption and aggregation) and equilibrium constants of different states were determined from tensiometry.Different metal ions(Ag~+,Co~(2+),Cu~(2+),Ni~(2+),Fe~(3+),Zn~(2+) and Al~(3+)) were used to determine the complex forming ability with lawsone.Out of these,Ag~+ ions have strong binding capacity with lawsone.The adsorption of lawsone on the surface of glass with silver ions in presence of CTAB was also observed at pH 9.0.The pseudo-first, secondorder kinetic equation,intraparticles diffusion and Elovich models were used to determine the kinetics of lawsone adsorption onto the surface of glass and a probable mechanism has been discussed.Lawsone adsorption followed second-order kinetic equation(k_2=0.019 g·mg~(-1)·min~(-1)).  相似文献

Interaction between beta-lactum antibiotic drug ciprofloxacin hydrochloride(CFH)and cationic surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB)was performed conductometrically in aqueous as well as in the occurrence of different salts(NaCl,KCl as well as NH_4Cl)over the temperature range of 298.15–323.15 K at the regular interval of 5 K.CFH drug has been suggested for the treatment of bacterial infections such as urinary tract infections and acute sinusitis.A clear critical micelle concentration(CMC)was obtained for pure CTAB as well as(CFH+CTAB)mixed systems.The decrease in CMC values of CTAB caused by the addition of CFH reveals the existence of the interaction between the components and therefore it is the indication of micelle formation at lower concentration of CTAB and their CMC values further decrease in attendance of salts.A nonlinear behavior in the CMC versus T plot was observed in all the cases.The ΔG_m~0 values are found to be negative in present study systems demonstrated the stability of the solution.The values of ΔH_m~0 and ΔS_m~0 reveal the existence of hydrophobic and electrostatic interactions between CFH and CTAB.The thermodynamic properties of transfer for the micellization were also evaluated and discussed in detail.Molecular dynamic simulation disclosed that environment of water and salts have impact on the hydrophobic interaction between CFH and CTAB.In water and salts,CTAB adopts spherical micelle in which charged hydrophilic groups are interacted with waters whereas hydrophobic tails form the core of the micelle.This hydrophobic core region is highly conserved and protected.In addition,micelle formation is more favorable in aqueous Na Cl solution than other solutions.  相似文献

This paper presents the effect of NaCl on the Krafft temperature (T K), surface adsorption and bulk micellization of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) in aqueous solution. The critical micelle concentration (CMC) of CTAB in the presence of NaCl increased and then decreased with increasing temperature. Thus, the CMC–temperature data can be represented by a bell-shaped curve. The micellar dissociation (fraction of counterion binding) and energetic parameters (free energy, enthalpy and entropy changes) of both adsorption and micellization were calculated. The processes were found to be both enthalpy and entropy controlled and appeared to be more and more enthalpy driven with increasing temperature. An enthalpy–entropy compensation rule was observed for both adsorption and micelle formation. The T K of the surfactant decreased significantly in the presence of NaCl, which is a sharp contrast to the usual behavior of the effect of electrolytes on the T K of classical ionic surfactants. The surface excess concentrations decreased with increasing temperature. However, the values were much higher in the presence of NaCl compared to the corresponding values in pure water. The solubilization behavior of a water-insoluble dye, Sudan red B (SRB), in the micellar system was studied by the UV–visible spectrophotometric technique. The molar solubilization ratio in the presence of NaCl was found to be about three times higher than that in pure water, indicating that the solubilization of SRB in the CTAB micelles significantly increases in the presence of NaCl.  相似文献

The interaction between 4-chloro-(2′-hydroxylphenylazo)rhodanine (ClHPAR) and cationic surfactant cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) was investigated by surface tension, absorption spectra, resonance light scattering (RLS) spectra and transmission electron microscopy. It can be concluded from the experimental results that the hydrophobic forces cannot be neglected, even though the electrostatic interaction between ClHPAR and CTAB plays an important role. The RLS spectral behavior of ClHPAR changes in the presence of CTAB. The efficiency and the effectiveness of ClHPAR–CTAB mixture to decrease the surface tension of water are higher than those of any single component, i.e. CTAB and ClHPAR. As one might expect, NaCl and urine have different effects on the interaction between ClHPAR and CTAB and their interaction also depends on pH.  相似文献

The adsorption of non‐ionic polysaccharide guar gum (GG) in the presence of surfactants (anionic SDS, non‐ionic TX‐100, cationic CTAB and their equimolar mixtures) from their NaCl solutions onto an alumina surface (Al2O3) was studied spectrophotometrically. This study is important in light of the many disagreements concerning the structure and behaviour of mixtures containing polymers and surfactants at the surface of an adsorbent. The presence of surfactant caused an increase in the GG adsorption in all studied systems as a consequence of the formation of complexes. Among the single surfactants the highest increase in the GG adsorption was observed in the presence of CTAB. However, the usage of mixtures of the surfactants caused a much more effective increase in the GG adsorption on the alumina surface because of the synergistic effect of the surfactants. In order to get some information on the structure of the electrical double layer (edl), the surface charge density of alumina was determined and zeta potential measurements were conducted. The obtained data showed that the adsorption of GG or GG/surfactant complexes on the metal oxide surface strongly influences a diffused part of the edl, whereas a compact part of the edl is not affected. The colloidal stability of the alumina suspensions was measured in the presence and absence of GG and surfactants. It was found that GG and the mixtures of GG and surfactants can improve the stability of the suspensions.  相似文献

We investigated the antihyperglycemic and antioxidant activities of polysaccharides produced from Pleurotus ferulae mutant in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats. Blood glucose level in the STZ-induced diabetic rat administered the extract polysaccharides, 250mg/kg b·w/d (EPSG) was 196.97mg/dL, approximately 54.12% less compared to that of the STZ-induced diabetic rats administered 0.9% NaCl solution (NCG). The insulin level in the EPSG was approximately 1.64-fold higher than that in the NCG. HDL and LDL cholesterol levels in the EPSG were 29.15mg/L and 20.35mg/dL, respectively, representing an approximate increase of 69.18% and decrease of 38.52%, respectively. The activities of aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and alanine transferase (ALT) in the EPSG decreased approximately by 49.27 and 50.43%, respectively, while the alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity decreased by 34.25%, relative to the NCG. Antioxidant activities in the NCG decreased relative to the normal group. In contrast, for EPSG, these values increased relative to the NCG. The malondialdehyde level in the EPSG was 12.95mmol/mg protein, which was approximately 70.64% of that in the NCG. These results suggest that the polysaccharides of Pleurotus ferulae mutant could be developed as potential antidiabetic agents or functional foods for people with a high risk of diabetes mellitus.  相似文献

采用分光光度法对十六烷基三甲基溴化铵(CTAB)-Al(Ⅲ)-铬天青S(CAS)三元络合物体系进行了研究。研究发现,在pH=6.0的B-R缓冲液中,CTAB的加入导致Al(Ⅲ)-CAS二元络合体系的吸光度增加,并在640 nm波长处产生最大吸收。实验结果表明,当5.0×10-4mol.L-1的CAS溶液用量为1.00 mL,20μg·L-1的Al(Ⅲ)溶液用量为1.00 mL时,CTAB质量浓度(ρ)在5~100 mg·L-1范围内与体系吸光度(A)呈良好的线性关系,线性方程为A=0.223 41ρ-0.042 37,相关系数r=0.999 9。该法用于环境水样中CTAB的测定,加标回收率为97%~103%。  相似文献

A novel one-pot synthesis route leading to the formation of a wormhole-like structure was developed for the successful fabrication of porous YSZ and Ni-YSZ systems. This method involved co-precipitation in the presence of the micelle-forming agents CTAB/Pluronic P123 and crystallising NaCl. The obtained skeletons were mechanically stable and presented almost 50% uniform, open porosity without using any additional pore-formers. The fabricated 0.3 M CTAB/NaCl Ni-YSZ showed better long-term electrical stability in hydrogen than a traditional Ni-YSZ cermet. It resulted from the suppression of Ni structural changes throughout the anode scaffold. Moreover, higher electrochemical activity of this novel anode is expected due to the smaller particle sizes of Ni/YSZ, high homogeneity, highly developed TPB, and better interfacial interaction between the Ni and YSZ. Therefore, the novel soft-hard templating method is recognised as a promising route for the fabrication of the YSZ or Ni-YSZ with a highly developed microstructure and improved stability.  相似文献

In this study, conductive composites of methyl vinyl silicone rubber (MVQ) filled with nickel-coated graphite (NCG) were prepared. The effects of the storage time, aging time, stretching, neutral-salt spraying, and acid-salt spraying on the electrical conductivity of NCG/MVQ were investigated. The results indicate that the values of the NCG/MVQ volume resistivity increased a little and were no greater than 0.1 Ω cm after long-term storage, thermooxidative aging, stretching, and neutral-salt spraying, respectively; this showed good conductive stability.
