目前基于模型的Web用户界面(UI)研究中缺乏对复杂行为的模型设计和开发方法,极大地限制了此类方法的工程化应用。针对此问题,提出了一种形式化的Web界面行为描述语言,对基于Web的用户界面中的复杂行为建模,实现了行为模型的代码自动生成。实验表明,本方法在Web用户界面设计的开发过程中具有极大的灵活性,提高了界面设计模式的复用性。  相似文献

Traffic safety is directly related to the mental and physical condition of the driver. Performing regular secondary tasks while driving is an additional activity that dissipates attention and adds to the drivers' workload. Identifying driver fatigue and workload based on gaze behavior is one way to ensure a safe driving experience. The purpose of this paper is to classify and predict driving perceived workload using a set of eye-tracking metrics (gaze fixation, duration, pointing, and pupil diameter). The ability of eye-tracking metrics to predict driving workload has been investigated. As a result, frustration, performance, and temporal load showed a correlation with gaze metrics. Gaze point, duration, fixation, and pupil diameter significantly influence driving workload.Relevance to industry: Results will supply the specialists in eye-tracking/sensor technologies and traffic safety with new knowledge to improve the design of the driving performance and safety monitoring systems and efficiency of the driving process.  相似文献

Affective computing, as a novel paradigm, adds a new feature into the human-computer interactions era that brings emotions into the process of design and evaluation. Such condition influences digital games’ not only structural dimension but also content and evaluation areas. This study aims to evaluate the effect of using emotions in the form of facial expressions as a User Interface (UI) and the input of a system in virtual scenarios. After studying the findings and methods of previous researches, a conceptual framework for Affective User Interface Design and Evaluation (AFFUIDE) has been proposed. Then, a game in the genre of shoot ‘em up (called Facial Battle) in four interaction modes has been developed. The evaluation of this study has been performed in terms of the players’ performance and experience. For this purpose, 18 male students of the Multimedia Faculty of Tabriz Islamic Art University took part in the experiments, who were asked to play all four modes of the game. Then, after analyzing the normalization of collected data, one-way ANOVA and U Mann Whitney tests were used for the statistical analysis. The findings indicate that the Traditional UI is the most usable and the Full Affective UI has the best sense of fun and user experience among other methods. However, the hybrid mode (affective shooting), is not only usable as traditional mode, but it also works better in terms of user experience compared to other modes.

The User Interface Design Assistant (UIDA) addresses the specific design problems of style and integration consistency throughout the user interface development process and aids in the automated feedback and evaluation of a system's graphical user interface according to knowledge-based rules and project-specific design examples. The UIDA system is able to quickly identify inconsistent style guide interpretations and UI design decisions resulting from distributed development of multiple UI sub-systems. This case arises when each sub-system conforms to the general style guide rules, but when integrated together, may appear inconsistent.This work was conducted jointly at the University of Southern California's Center for Software Engineering, and the Arcadia Project, University of California Irvine.  相似文献

基于web的服务组装正成为一种流行的组装风格。许多已有的工作提出将服务业务逻辑和用户界面封装为一个基于web的服务构件,并在基于web的环境中组装这些构件。这些构件模型在复用,尤其是构件验证、适配以及复合构件的支持方面仍存在许多局限。提出一种新型构件模型以支持基于web的服务组装。首先,该构件模型将用户界面和服务业务逻辑分离以获得更好的适配性;其次,开发人员不仅可以在业务逻辑的层次组装这些构件,还可以在用户界面的层次进行组装。该构件模型支持实时组装以实现及时、有效的验证和适配,同时还支持将组装结果发布为一个新的可复用的服务构件。  相似文献

This paper presents a framework for the design of User Interfaces (UIs). By applying model transformations, the framework allows different UIs to be generated for different computing platforms. The tool presented in this work helps designers to build an abstract user interface which is later transformed into a concrete user interface by means of transformation techniques based on graph grammars. These techniques can be used to generate implementation code for several UI platforms including desktop applications, dynamic websites and mobile applications. The generated user interfaces are integrated with a multi-tier application by referencing external services and communicating with the application core over Web Service protocols. Our tool also allows the concrete interfaces to be enhanced before generating the final UI. The approach uses an adaptation of UIML (User Interface Markup Language). The adaptation focuses on defining a data model and a services model, and it also introduces a navigation model that allows data communication from one UI to another. The obtained UIs together with Web Services can conform complete applications instead of just being prototypes.  相似文献

在软件测试中,用户界面(UI)测试是保证软件质量、提高软件可靠性的不可或缺的一部分。针对句柄识别UI的测试方法缺乏稳定性和通用性,通过引入可扩展标记语言(XML),提出了一种基于XML对UI控件识别并测试的改进方法。利用XML处理数据便捷的特点,结合自动化测试工具SilkTest,对传统UI测试进行了改进。并且根据所提方法,针对AutoCAD产品多语言多版本的特点,设计了对其系列产品对话框的自动化测试方案。实验结果表明,改进后的方法能够缩短控件的识别时间,减少了测试脚本的冗余量,提高了测试的效率,也提高了UI识别的稳定性。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Many designers and User Interface (UI) educators discuss principles to be followed when designing the functional aspects of a UI. However, many UI principles have been proposed, scattered in scientific papers and teaching books. Some principles are different, and many are somehow similar or overlapping with others. This makes it very difficult to comprehend where to pay attention to when designing a UI. In this paper, we perform a systematic literature review to first identify the most relevant authors in the domain of functional UI design principles. Focusing on the three most cited works of these authors, we extracted 257 principles. We next analyzed all these principles, unified their variants, and, considering their scientific influence, finally derived a shorter and core selection of 36 principles. This core selection provides educators and UI designers with a clear path to teach, evaluate, learn and improve the UI functional design.  相似文献

针对RFID中间件将海量数据集中在服务器端处理带来的性能压力问题,提出了一种面向移动设备的可灵活配置RFID中间件(SMM)。SMM可以用于移动设备,具有较好的平台无关性,能部署与多个操作系统中;通过将设备抽象为对象,便于用户通过用户接口(UI)和标准Web接口控制和管理各种移动设备。同时,SMM也提供数据同步功能。实验结果表明,SMM具有能耗低、效率高的优点,可以有效减轻服务器压力,提高系统性能。  相似文献

In the past years, surveillance systems have attracted both industries and researchers due to its importance for security. Automated Video Surveillance (AVS) systems are established to automatically monitor objects in real-time. Employing wireless communication in an AVS system is an attractive solution due to its convenient installation and configuration. Unfortunately, wireless communication, in general, has limited bandwidth, not to mention the intrinsic dynamic conditions of the network (e.g., collision and congestion). Many solutions have been proposed in the literature to solve the bandwidth allocation problem in wireless networks, but much less work is done to design evaluation frameworks for such solutions. This paper targets the demand for a realistic wireless AVS system simulation framework that models and simulates most of the details in a typical wireless AVS framework. The proposed simulation framework is built over the well-known NS-3 network simulator. This framework also supports the testing and the evaluation of cross-layer solutions that manages many factors over different layers of AVS systems in the wireless 802.11 infrastructure network. Moreover, the simulation framework supports the collection of many used performance metrics that are usually used in AVS system performance evaluation.  相似文献

为了减少电费和碳排放,数据中心运营商开始建立就地绿色能源发电厂以进行供电.然而,负载的波动性、电价的时间差异性以及绿色能源的间歇性,给节约数据中心电费带来了挑战.针对以上问题,提出一种在线式负载调度算法,可以在不使用未来的负载、电价和绿色能源可用性信息的前提下,最小化数据中心的电费.首先,建立拥有就地绿色能源发电厂的数据中心的电费模型;然后,将数据中心电费最小化问题形式化为一个随机优化问题;最后,求解该优化问题得到相应的负载调度策略.基于真实数据的实验结果表明:该算法可以在保证负载性能的前提下,有效降低数据中心的电力成本.  相似文献

针对CAD系统在应用到概念设计时,由于传统的人机界面无法提供一个自然和高效的人机交互环境,导致CAD不能在概念设计领域中广泛被使用,对此提出了基于感知界面(PUI)思想,以手势命令取代传统人机界面的解决方法,并设计出基于.net平台的草图编辑系统。系统使用神经网络中的BP算法,完成计算机对用户输入的手势命令的识别,从而提高了草图编辑系统人机界面的人性化,并通过实例演示了部分系统功能,表明系统具有一定的实用价值。  相似文献

The evaluation of interactive systems has been an active subject of research for many years. Many methods have been proposed, but most of them do not take the architectural specificities of an agent-based interactive system into account, nor do they focus on the link between architecture and evaluation. In this paper, we present an agent-based architecture model for interactive systems. Then, based on this architecture, we propose a generic, reconfigurable evaluation environment, called EISEval, designed and developed to help evaluators analyze and evaluate certain aspects of interactive systems in general and of agent-based architecture interactive systems in particular: User Interface (UI), non-functional properties (e.g., response time, complexity) and user characteristics (e.g., abilities, preferences, progress). System designers can draw useful conclusions from the evaluation results to improve the system. This environment was applied to evaluate an agent-based interactive system used to supervise an urban transport network in a study organized in laboratory.  相似文献
