本文采用横向谐振法和奇、偶激励法分析了平行耦合和对称弯曲耦合的沟槽型无辐射介质(GNRD)波导的耦合特性,并对实验样品进行了测试。理论计算结果和实验结果符合良好,为GNRD波导定向耦合器等元件的设计提供了理论依据。  相似文献

借鉴波导定向耦合器的设计原理,采用双脊波导的形式(本文采用标准双脊波导WRD650型号)设计大功率宽频带定向耦合器。由于双脊波导相比于矩形波导,最低模式的截止频率更低,单模工作的频带更宽,特性阻抗更低,所以采用双脊波导的形式比矩形波导在带宽方面更有优势。波导耦合器耦合方式有很多种,最常用的有小孔耦合和缝隙耦合,本文采用非对称十字孔耦合的方式,并与等孔径分布和切比雪夫分布的圆孔耦合比较来确定非对称十字孔耦合方式,在耦合平坦度、方向性方面有更好的改进。利用电磁仿真软件进行仿真对比其结果,通过一些具体措施改善双脊波导定向耦合器的性能,使定向耦合器的各种设计指标达到要求。  相似文献

高功率非对称泵浦耦合器是高功率连续光纤激光器的关键无源光器件,它可以将多路泵浦光高效率地耦合进主光纤中,从而为光纤激光器提供所需的泵浦光功率,但已有双波导耦合理论并不能直接应用于该型耦合器的研究。为解决这一问题,在双波导定向耦合器的不完全耦合理论基础上,针对高功率泵浦耦合器非对称的特点,将其耦合系数和光功率方程组做了进一步推导,并进行了数值仿真,研究结果表明:两光纤中的光功率按照一定周期变化,当泵浦光纤的锥角在1~1.5之间时,可以获得97%以上的最佳耦合效率,且与其对应耦合长度的局部变化对耦合效率的影响较小。该研究结果对高功率非对称泵浦耦合器的设计及制作均具有指导意义。  相似文献

基于微型无人机雷达、精确制导武器雷达及无线通信终端设备的应用前景,设计了一种非对称主副波导定向耦合器。该耦合器采用主副波导为不同形状的等间距多孔耦合结构,将主矩形波导TE10模的信号耦合到副圆形波导TE11模中,利用相位叠加原理使得隔离端口相位达到反向相消的效果,能够得到良好的耦合度和隔离度。该耦合器中心频率为400 GHz,相对带宽为40 GHz,结果表明,定向耦合器耦合度达到-13.8~-12.8 d B,实现了弱耦合效果且耦合度稳定性较好,隔离度优于-24.5dB,直通插入损耗为-3~-2.5 dB,性能良好。  相似文献

分析了现有微波大功率测量装置中定向耦合器的优缺点,提出了一种新型的用于测量微波大功率信号的双定向耦合器。该双定向耦合器可以同时测量传输信号和耦合信号,在小孔耦合的基础上利用耦合片实现信号的耦合。耦合片安装在耦合头内部,耦合头作为一个独立的装置可以根据波导的尺寸调整安装位置。通过调节耦合片与波导的距离,祸合系数可以在一定范围内调节。利用HFSS进行了全波电磁场仿真,在ISM频段利用BJ-26波导验证了设计。该双定向耦合器体积小,易于装配,特别适用于大功率、双向测量的场合。  相似文献

定向耦合器是微波通信领域必不可少的元件之一.平行耦合与分支线耦合是定向耦合器的两种基本形式.重点研究非对称多节定向平行耦合器的设计.根据设计的结构和尺寸,通过HFSS软件进行耦合器结构的仿真.仿真结果表明,设计的定向耦合器可以实现1~4 GHz宽频带下20 dB的耦合度.另外,仿真验证了节支长度对耦合度并不敏感.  相似文献

在弱导和弱耦合近似下,对熔锥型非对称耦合器进行了理论计算与分析,理论分析表明:这种非对称耦合器具有波长响应平坦的特性,而且非对称程度的大小直接影响耦合器输出功率的分配(即分束比);通过在拉锥过程中控制组合波导的不同直径比,可以得到不同分束比的宽带耦合器.对分束比为50%的耦合器进行了性能测试,实验结果与理论分析相吻合.  相似文献

In this paper, an improved structure of symmetric groove nonradiative dielectric (GNRD) guide, the mono groove NRD (MGNRD) guide is presented, which keeps the similar performances of the symmetric groove structure, but is more easy to fabricate in millimeter waveband. The dispersion characteristics of the MGNRD is analysed using the transverse resonance method, then a MGNRD leaky-wave antenna is constructed, calculated and tested. In this paper, the propagation characteristics of the dominant mode in GNRD guide bend are analysed employing the coupled-mode theory. The curves of bending loss vs. The groove depth or width, radius of curvature and frequency are given, which caused by the mode conversion of the operatingLSM 11 x mode to the parasiticLSE 11 x mode. It is found that the groove depth has a great influence upon the bending loss than the other parameters. According to the theoretical results, appropriate sizes of groove and radius of curvature should be chosen in designing a GNRD bend structure.  相似文献

A new leaky-wave antenna constructed from a groove non-radiative dielectric (GNRD) waveguide is presented. The GNRD leaky-wave antenna overcomes the difficulty of assembling precisely the dielectric strip in the NRD leaky-wave antenna, and is superior to the NRD leaky-wave antenna of the same size in the radiation pattern. The propa-gation and radiation characteristics of the GNRD leaky-wave antenna are analysed by use of the transverse resonance method. A theoretical and numerical method is presented for the analysis of broadside-coupled strip inset dielectric guide. The method of analysis is based on an integral equation formulation and Galerkin's procedure. Besides propagation constants for two fundamental and higher order modes, the characteristic impedances for the two fundamental modes are calculated using the total propagating power and the longitudinal strip currents. The propagation characteristics of the two fundamental modes are then used to compute 4-port circuit parameters that are essential for accurate analysis and design of coupled line circuits. The effects of various structural parameters on the S-parameters are investigated and it is found that this broadside coupled strip IDG structure is useful for the realization of the directional couplers. Examples of strong and weak directional couplers are given. Furthermore, the propagation constants and S-parameters of coaxially excited coupled strips are measured, and are in good agreement with the theoretical analysis  相似文献

The effective dielectric permittivity method is applied, generalized and modified to determine image guide dielectric rods configurations for directional couplers with maximum bandwidth in 3-mm wavelengths range. Optimization problem of directional coupling, splitting and summing signals in image guide directional couplers with distributed coupling in the 80–110 GHz frequency range was solved using CST Microwave Studio software. A new 3 dB CPW multilayer slot-coupled directional coupler between two CPW lines coupled through a rectangular slot etched on a common ground plane located between these lines is presented. The proposed directional coupler showed promising results, especially in terms of bandwidth (/spl sim/80%). Vertical coupler filters (VCF) exhibiting narrow bandwidth and low sidelobe levels have been designed and demonstrated. Narrow bandwidth filter response is achieved due to the strong asymmetry between the waveguides of the filter and the nondispersive characteristics of the anitresonant reflecting optical waveguide (ARROW) structure. An ARROW-type VCF with a conventional parallel coupled directional coupler configuration with a full width at half-maximum (FWHM) of 1.36 nm and a maximum sidelobe level of -8.5 dB was fabricated using a compound glass consisting of SiO2 and SiO2-Ta2O5 . The filter sidelobe levels were then further suppressed by using an X-crossing arrangement to provide coupling strength apodization along the device. The sidelobe levels of this modified X-crossing filter were suppressed to below -23 dB and the measured FWHM was 3.9 nm. The central wavelength of the reported filters are in the 1.55 μm region. The measured results are in good agreement with theoretical results from an analysis procedure that combines the coupled mode theory with the finite difference complex mode solver  相似文献

用微波网络方法讨论了宽频带槽波导定向耦合器的分析和设计问题.使用部分介质填充非对称双槽波导的横向等效网络,编制了相应求解程序.计算表明,本文设计的两种3mm波段耦合器的相对带宽都在24%以上,是常规的对称双槽波导耦合器带宽的5倍,而它们的长度却比文献中已有的设计都大为缩短.  相似文献
