The structure, the mechanical properties, the impact toughness, and the fracture mechanisms of the welded joints made of steel 09G2S plates by direct current welding and pulsed arc welding with a modulated arc current in the frequency range 0.25–5.0 Hz are studied. The application of low-frequency pulsed arc welding allowed us to form welded joints with a fine-grained structure in the weld metal and the heat-affected zone and to achieve a higher impact toughness and a longer cyclic fatigue life as compared to the welded joints fabricated by direct current welding. The achieved effect manifests itself over the entire testing range from 20 to–60°C.  相似文献

采用基于反向再燃弧电压产生电路的变极性焊接电源为试验平台,研究了电源设备及其控制参数、焊接回路电缆寄生电感和焊接工艺参数对变极性焊接电流换向过程的影响规律. 试验结果表明,提高反向再燃弧电压值能够提升变极性过程的电流变化速率,而较大的焊接回路电缆寄生电感会降低电流变化速率,同时降低变极性结束时的电流值,不利于变极性过程的电弧可靠再引燃和稳定燃烧. 初始焊接电流越小,则变极性过程结束时的电流值越小,增加共同导通时间可以提高变极性结束时的电流值,但同时降低变极性开始时的电流大小. 因此小电流变极性焊接时可采用较大的反向稳压值并适当增加共同导通时间,以增强变极性过程中的电弧稳定性.   相似文献

 为了研究等离子弧焊在焊接薄板耐候钢时的优越性,对2 mm厚 05CuPCrNi耐大气腐蚀钢分别进行等离子弧焊与MAG焊(熔化极活性气体保护电弧焊)对接焊接,然后对焊接接头分别进行拉伸、弯曲、金相、硬度等试验,通过与MAG焊焊接接头的组织与力学性能对比,结果表明,与MAG焊相比,等离子弧焊时05CuPCrNi耐大气腐蚀钢焊接接头强度相对提高约6%,焊接接头组织为更均匀且细小的铁素体+珠光体,并无MAG焊中出现的粗大块状铁素体及贝氏体,焊接热影响区较小,焊接接头弯曲性能良好,硬度值及硬度分布情况与MAG相近且无软化现象。  相似文献

 The effect of autogeneous arc welding processes on tensile and impact properties of ferritic stainless steel conformed to AISI 409M grade is studied. Rolled plates of 4 mm thickness have been used as the base material for preparing single pass butt welded joints. Tensile and impact properties, microhardness, microstructure, and fracture surface morphology of continuous current gas tungsten arc welding (CCGTAW), pulsed current gas tungsten arc welding (PCGTAW), and plasma arc welding (PAW) joints are evaluated and the results are compared. It is found that the PAW joints of ferritic stainless steel show superior tensile and impact properties when compared with CCGTAW and PCGTAW joints, and this is mainly due to lower heat input, finer fusion zone grain diameter, and higher fusion zone hardness.  相似文献

590 MPa automobile beam steel strips are used mainly to manufacture the longitudinal beam of trucks.It’s welding properties are critical to the safety of truck.The microstructure and mechanical properties of welding joints processed by CO 2 arc welding with different welding parameters were studied.The results showed that the welding joints were weak when welding heat input were small and the non metal inclusions were found in the weld joints when welding heat input are big.The quality of the welding joints is good enough at 170A of the arc current and 24V of the arc voltage.Keeping the other welding parameters fixed,the incomplete fusion defect occurred in the welding joint with backward welding,but the quality of the welding joint is good with forward welding.  相似文献

搭建了双电弧集成冷丝复合焊接系统,研究了冷丝不同位置对焊接过程的影响机理,其中包括冷丝作用位置对其加热熔化作用及表面成形的影响。实验结果表明:冷丝从两引导焊丝正前方送入时,熔池前端对冷丝的加热熔化作用不充分,冷丝末端会顶触熔池底部,随着冷丝的持续送进和母材的向后移动,某一时刻冷丝回弹,焊丝末端的熔滴弹出落在母材表面形成大颗粒飞溅。当冷丝从侧面送入时,熔池一侧的温度较低,影响熔池金属的流动,导致最终的焊缝成形不对称分布。当冷丝从两引导焊丝正后方送入熔池时,冷丝始终插入熔池中,焊接过程稳定,是理想的冷丝作用位置。此外,随着冷丝送丝速度的增加,两种脉冲电流模式(同相和反相)下,熔敷率均随之增加,且相差不大。同相脉冲电流下电弧对冷丝的加热熔化作用最强烈,反相脉冲电流下次之,直流模式下最弱。   相似文献

The optimum coating composition of alkali Fe powder welding rods was designed by orthogonal experiment with mix rates. A new kind of effective RE-Fe powder welding rod was prepared which could be used at the condition of direct and indirect current. The arc characteristics and stabilities of effective Fe powder welding rods containing RE were analyzed by HANNOVER analyzer. The efficiency of Fe powder welding rods was tested by weighting method. It wag found that the stability of Fe powder welding rods Wag improved when it was added with rare earths. The results of impact experiment at low temperatures and SEM analysis on impact break showed that the grain was refined, the welding joint was cleaned, and the mechanical properties of joint was enhanced with proper RE content. It was provided with good processing property for this effective RE-Fe powder welding rod, and its efficiency could arrive at 180%.  相似文献

The present work investigates the microstructure and mechanical properties of alloy C-276 fabricated by continuous and pulsed current gas tungsten arc welding process and by employing ER2553 filler wire. Optical and scanning electron microscopic analyses were carried out to study the microstructures of weldments produced. Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) was performed to investigate the formation of secondary phases in the weldments. The results disclosed that pulsed current gas tungsten arc welding showed refined microstructure compared to continuous current gas tungsten arc welding. SEM/EDS analysis revealed the segregation of Mo in the weld interface regions in both the welding techniques. The extent of microsegregation reduced the strength and toughness of the weld joint compared to the base metal. Bend test revealed cracks in the weld interface region in both the weldments.  相似文献

针对穿孔深熔氩弧焊(K-TIG)工艺焊接8 mm厚Q235低碳钢板时焊接过程不稳定、焊接工艺窗口小等突出问题,首次提出在焊接工件背部铺加保护焊剂的方法改善焊接过程。采用对接焊的方式,在不开坡口、焊接过程不添加焊丝的情况下,达到单面焊双面成形的效果。最终成功的采用430~480 A范围内的直流电流对8 mm厚的Q235低碳钢进行了焊接,将焊接电流窗口扩大到50 A同时也显著的提高了焊接过程的稳定性。同时,在扩大焊接电流窗口之后,系统研究了不同焊接电流下焊接接头的组织性能。研究结果表明:在不同焊接电流下得到的焊接接头中,组织分布以及力学性能分布呈现出相同的状态。焊缝区的组织均由铁素体+珠光体+魏氏组织组成;熔合区由魏氏组织组成;热影响区由铁素体+少量的珠光体组成;此外随着焊接电流的增加,焊接接头背部的熔宽有略微增加;在焊接接头中,熔合区处硬度值最高,其次是焊缝区,之后是热影响区,母材的硬度值最低;焊接接头最终的拉伸断裂位置是在热影响区处。   相似文献

Magnetically Impelled Arc Butt (MIAB) welding is a solid state welding process especially used in circumferential butt welding of tubes in which heat is generated prior to upsetting by an electric arc moving along the peripheral edges of the weldment with the aid of an external magnetic field. This paper aims at studying the formation of Light Band (LB) zone and its effect on the weld properties of MIAB welding of carbon steel tubes. A detailed microstructural analysis has been carried out to understand the microstructural transformations taking place in Thermo-Mechanically Affected Zone leading to formation of LB zone. Welded samples show better tensile properties with higher upset current as it eliminates LB zone formation at weld interface. For lower upset current, width of the LB zone increases with increase in arc rotation current resulting in lower weld tensile strength.  相似文献
