聚乙烯醇/蒙脱石纳米复合材料的结构与性能   总被引:4,自引:1,他引:4  
通过溶液插层 流延成膜法,以聚乙烯醇和钠质蒙脱石为原料,制备出了不同蒙脱石含量的聚乙烯醇/蒙脱石纳米复合材料薄膜。用X射线衍射(XRD)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、热重分析(TGA)和力学性能测试对复合材料的结构和性能进行了表征。结果表明,聚乙烯醇分子成功进入蒙脱石的层间,实现了在纳米尺度上的复合;蒙脱石含量高于7 5wt%形成插层型的纳米复合材料,低于7 5wt%形成剥离型的纳米复合材料;在SEM图片上还观察到了纳米复合材料的微观结构。纳米复合材料的热稳定性、拉伸强度和直角撕裂强度均比纯聚乙烯醇有很大提高。  相似文献

Poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA)/montmorillonite clay (MMT) nanofiber mats have been fabricated by the electrospinning technique. The PVA/MMT nanofiber mats were characterized by X‐ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), and mechanical measurements. The study showed that the introduction of MMT results in improvement in tensile strength, and thermal stability of the PVA matrix. XRD patterns and SEM micrographs suggest the coexistence of exfoliated MMT layers over the studied MMT contents. Poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA)/montmorillonite clay (MMT) nanocomposites in the form of films were prepared under the effect of electron beam irradiation. The PVA/MMT nanocomposites gels were characterized by X‐ray diffraction (XRD), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and mechanical measurements. The study showed that the appropriate dose of electron beam irradiation to achieve homogeneous nanocomposites films and highest gel formation was 20 kGy. The introduction of MMT (up to 4 wt %) results in improvement in tensile strength, elongation at break, and thermal stability of the PVA matrix. In addition, the intercalation of PVA with the MMT clay leads to an impressive improved water resistance, indicating that the clay is well dispersed within the polymer matrix. Meanwhile, it was proved that the intercalation has no effect on the metal uptake capability of PVA as determined by a method based on the color measurements. XRD patterns and SEM micrographs suggest the coexistence of exfoliated intercalated MMT layers over the studied MMT contents. The DSC thermograms showed clearly that the intercalation of PVA polymer with these levels of MMT has no influence on the melting transitions; however, the glass transition temperature (Tg) for PVA was completely disappeared, even at low levels of MMT clay. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Na‐montmorillonite/polyethyleneimine‐g‐poly(methyl methacrylate) (Na‐MMT/PEI‐g‐PMMA) nanocomposite latexes were prepared by soap‐free emulsion polymerization in the aqueous suspension of Na‐MMT. The exfoliated morphology of the nanocomposites was confirmed by XRD and TEM. With the aim of improving morphology and mechanical properties of natural rubber latex (NRL) films, the synthesized Na‐MMT/PEI‐g‐PMMA nanocomposites were mixed with NRL by latex compounding technology. The results of SEM and AFM analysis showed that the surface of NRL/Na‐MMT/PEI‐g‐PMMA film was smoother and denser than that of pristine NRL film while Na‐MMT was dispersed uniformly on the fracture surface of the modified films, which suggested the good compatibility between NRL and Na‐MMT/PEI‐g‐PMMA. The tensile strength of NRL/Na‐MMT/PEI‐g‐PMMA films was increased greatly by 85% with 10 phr Na‐MMT/PEI‐g‐PMMA when Na‐MMT content was 3 wt % and the elongation at break also increased from 930% to 1073% at the same time. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Exfoliated polyvinyl acetate/montmorillonite nanocomposite (PVAc/MMT) was prepared via in situ emulsion polymerization. The resulting PVAc with various organophilic MMT contents was investigated. In the nanocomposite latex preparation, sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), ammonium persulfate (APS), and poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA) are used as anionic emulsifier, conventional anionic initiator, and stabilizer, respectively. The samples were characterized using elemental analysis, X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM). The XRD and AFM results demonstrate that the MMT well dispersed at molecular level in the PVAc matrix. Thermal properties of the nanocomposite were studied by using differential scanning calorimetric analysis (DSC). The exfoliated PVAc/MMT nanocomposite showed a higher glass transition temperature and a better thermal stability compared to the pure PVAc.  相似文献

利用蜡质玉米淀粉通过硫酸酸解制备淀粉纳米晶(SN),并采用溶液流延法制备聚乙烯醇(PVA)/SN复合膜,研究SN对复合膜结构和性能的影响。结果表明,制备的SN样品为盘状颗粒,平均直径为30~60 nm;随着SN含量的增加,PVA/SN复合膜的力学性能和阻隔性能均呈现先增后减的变化;在SN含量为10 %时,复合膜的拉伸和阻隔性能最好,拉伸强度由纯PVA膜的47 MPa提高至54 MPa,气体透过系数相对于纯PVA膜也降低了70 %。  相似文献

以芳纶纤维Kevlar@49为原料,在温和条件下制备了芳纶纳米纤维分散体(ANFS),并利用分散体制备了芳纶纳米纤维/聚乙烯醇(ANFs/PVA)复合膜。通过傅里叶红外光谱(FTIR)仪、差示扫描量热(DSC)仪、原子力显微镜(AFM)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、电子万能试验机及透光度/雾度测定仪等考察了复合膜的微观结构、热学、光学及力学性能。FTIR证明,复合膜中ANFs与PVA具有一定的分子间氢键作用,促进了ANFs在PVA基体中的分散。由AFM和SEM可以清晰观察到直径为20~30 nm的芳纶纳米纤维分散体,并且通过SEM观察到复合膜表面较为平整。当芳纶纳米纤维质量分数为6.0%时,复合膜的抗拉强度为17.86 MPa,断裂伸长率为442%;透光度为82.63%,雾度为27.56%;玻璃化温度,熔融温度和结晶温度分别为75.20、208.82和174.51℃,表明其透光性良好,力学和热学性能达到最佳。  相似文献

利用聚氨酯丙烯酸酯树脂(PUA)对淀粉-纤维素膜进行改性,以改善材料性能。先以玉米淀粉和纤维素为主要原料,在无机盐氯化锌水溶液中溶解,用流延法制备淀粉-纤维素混合膜(RSC);再以PUA为浸渍树脂,采用浸渍固化法制备淀粉-纤维素-聚氨酯丙烯酸酯复合膜(RSC-PUA),考察树脂浓度、光固化时间等因素对复合膜力学性能、吸水性能的影响,并通过扫描电镜、X射线衍射仪、热重分析等手段表征复合膜形貌和结构。实验结果表明:最适宜树脂质量分数为30%,光固化时间为120s;RSC-PUA复合膜比RSC膜拉伸强度提高2.4倍,断裂伸长率提高6倍,吸水率降低了53.6%,热裂解温度增高113℃。以上结果表明,经PUA树脂改性后的复合膜的力学性能、耐湿性、热稳定性提高。  相似文献

The water‐based dispersion of fine leather fibers (FLF) was firstly prepared in our laboratory by high pressure homogenization. The solution casting method of water‐based dispersion of FLF and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) was used to fabricate the composite films. In this study, the influences of FLF content on the structures and properties of resulting composites were investigated systematically. Experimental results showed that there was an obvious small size effect of FLF in the composite films. Esterification and etherification reactions between FLF and PVA were confirmed by FTIR analysis; XRD and DSC analyses showed that FLF had the nucleation effect on PVA. The micrograph of SEM revealed that composite film with 40 wt% FLF content had compact internal structure and vague interface, and its value of tensile strength could reach maximum 51.8 MPa. Besides, TGA test showed that the thermal stability of composite films with FLF content beyond 30 wt% were much greater than that of PVA at temperature above 350°C. Moreover, composite films were deprived of hydrophilicity to a certain extent and the antibacterial rate of composite films with 40 wt% and 60 wt% FLF content were more than 90% totally. POLYM. Soy protein isolate/montmorillonite (SPI/MMT) nanocomposite films were prepared in which MMT was used as a nanofiller at 0, 3, 6, 9, 12, and 15 wt % relative to SPI dry weight. Effects of MMT on film properties including tensile strength, elongation at break, total soluble matter, water vapor permeability, and oxygen permeability were assessed. X‐ray diffraction patterns were determined, and morphologies of SPI and the SPI‐MMT composite films were visualized by scanning electron microscopy. Mechanical and barrier properties were improved by evidenced increases in tensile strength and modulus, and decreases in permeability to water vapor and oxygen. MMT concentrations of 3%–12% were optimal for improving functional properties of the composite films. X‐ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy examinations revealed the formation of an intercalated and exfoliated structure on the addition of MMT into the SPI matrix. The polyaniline (PANI)–polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) conductive composite films [doped with hydrochloride (HCl), dodecylbenzene sulphonic acid and amino sulphonic acid (NH2SO3H) aqueous solution] were synthesised by ‘in situ’ polymerisation, and their conductivities were compared. Among these composite films, HCl–PANI–PVA composite film possessed the highest conductivity that reached 1360?S·m??1 [w(PVA)?=?40%]. Meanwhile, the effects of PVA content, HCl concentration, oxidant ammonium persulphate (APS) dosage, reaction time and film drying temperature on tensile strength of the HCl–PANI–PVA composite films were studied. The tensile strength of the film was improved greatly due to effective mixture of PANI and PVA. When the PVA content was 40%, C(HCl)?=?1.0?mol·L??1, reaction time was 4.0?h, n(APS)/n(aniline)?=?1.0 and film drying temperature was 80°C, and the tensile strength of the HCl–PANI–PVA composite film reached the maximum of 60.8?MPa. At the same time, the structure of composite materials was characterised and analysed through ultraviolet spectrum and SEM.  相似文献

Composites based on poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA), acrylamide monomer (AM) and sodium montmorillonite clay (MMT) were prepared, in the form of thin films, by solution casting. The PVA/AM/MMT composites films were then exposed to electron beam irradiation to form crosslinked network structure. The structure‐property behavior of PVA/AM/MMT hybrids was demonstrated by x‐ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy, gel content, color intensity, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and swelling behavior in aqueous solutions. The results indicated that the introduction of MMT clay ratio up to 5% decreased the gel content of PVA/AM hydrogels. The color measurements indicated that the introduction of MMT clay ratio up to 5% was shown to affect the color intensity of composite films. It was found that both PVA/AM hydrogels and PVA/AM/MMT composites reached the equilibrium swelling state in water after four hours; however PVA/AM/MMT composites displayed higher swelling than PVA/AM hydrogels. However, the swelling of PVA/AM hydrogels or their composites at the equilibrium state increased with increasing temperature up to 60°C. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 以高直链玉米淀粉为原料,选用乙二醇为增塑剂,硼砂为交联剂,采用流延法制备淀粉/聚乙烯醇(PVA)复合膜。研究不同直链淀粉含量、增塑剂用量、交联剂用量、等因素对复合膜性能的影响。结果表明,高直链淀粉复合膜的性能明显优于普通淀粉复合膜。当淀粉、乙二醇、硼砂用量分别为20%、30%、5%时,复合膜性能最佳。  相似文献

以壳聚糖(CS)为基质材料,蒙脱土(MMT)为填料,采用戊二醛(GA)交联改性并结合溶液插层法制备了交联壳聚糖/蒙脱土(CS/GA/MMT)复合膜。通过扫描电子显微镜、X射线衍射仪、红外光谱仪及热重分析仪对复合膜的结构进行了表征,考察了MMT用量对复合膜的吸水性能、水蒸气阻隔性能和力学性能的影响。结果表明,交联改性CS可提高CS膜的耐水性,CS/GA膜的吸水率较CS膜降低了9.6 %;MMT可提高复合膜的耐水性、水蒸气阻隔性能、力学性能和热稳定性;当MMT的用量为CS质量的5 %时,复合膜的各项性能较好,吸水率、水蒸气透过率和断裂伸长率较CS膜分别降低了37.3 %、36.7 %和41.9 %,且拉伸强度提高了160.5 %。  相似文献

A series of poly(vinyl alcohol)/poly(propylene glycol) (PVA/PPG) blend films with different PPG contents were prepared by casting the polymer blend solutions. Structure and morphologies of the PVA/PPG blend films were studied by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Thermal, mechanical, and chemical properties of PVA/PPG blend films were investigated by differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), tensile strength tests, and other physical methods. It was revealed that the introduction of PPG could exert marked effects on the morphology and the properties of PVA film.  相似文献

以蒙脱土(MMT)为增强填料,采用熔融加工的方法制备了聚乙烯醇(PVA)/淀粉/MMT纳米复合材料,通过X射线衍射、差示扫描量热法、扫描电子显微镜、热失重法以及力学性能测试等方法研究了MMT含量对复合材料结构与性能的影响。结果表明,在熔融加工过程中,淀粉、PVA分子破坏了MMT片层结构;MMT提高了复合材料中PVA组分结晶温度,阻碍PVA分子排入晶格,降低了复合材料熔融焓值及结晶度;MMT有效提高了材料的拉伸强度、弹性模量,同时降低了复合材料的吸水速率、平衡吸水率,提高了耐水性能。  相似文献

The rational design of food packaging films with good antimicrobial activity, antioxidant activity, and monitorability is of great importance in intelligent packaging. In this study, an active composite film was prepared by adding curcumin to a dialdehyde cellulose (DAC)/polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) matrix. It was found that the Cur/DAC/PVA composite film exhibited optimal tensile strength at 30°C. The tensile strength of the composite film control PVA/DAC film was observed to increase by 176% due to the affection of hydrogen bonding. Under the influence of curcumin, the UV barrier property and antioxidant activity of the composite film were significantly increased, and the ABTS+• was removed by 0.5Cur/DAC/PVA up to 88% at low curcumin content. The water solubility and water vapor permeability were both reduced to some degree. It was also observed that composite film displayed an inhibitory effect on the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. Meanwhile, the Ritger and Peppas release model was used to study the release control capability of curcumin. Furthermore, the Cur/DAC/PVA composite film demonstrated excellent color response to pH, which it they could be used for intelligent packaging with real-time visual monitoring.  相似文献

采用一种氮丙啶交联剂对聚乙烯醇(PVA)进行交联,通过红外等测试表征研究交联剂用量对交联膜化学结构、力学性能、溶胀性及耐水性的影响,从而确定薄膜性能最优时交联剂的用量.当交联剂用量质量分数为3%时,其拉伸强度和断裂伸长率分别提高25.9%和38.1%,力学性能得到明显改善.将性能最优交联膜与纳米SiO_2复合,测试复合膜的力学性能,结果表明:其性能得到进一步提高.  相似文献
