本文对Li2O-Al2O3-SiO2(LAS)微晶玻璃的热处理制度、光学性能和热膨胀性能进行了分析,分析结果表明:应根据DTA曲线来确定最佳的成核温度范围和晶化温度范围并合理制定热处理制度;晶核密度和晶核尺寸随保温时间逐渐增加具有相反的趋势;晶粒尺寸大小将很大程度上影响微晶玻璃的光学性能;由于β-石英固溶体和β-锂辉石固溶体具有各向异性特点和螺旋链状结构,使其具有低的热膨胀系数和自由恢复形状特性。 相似文献

A mica-based machinable glass-ceramic has been converted to a glass-ceramic containing cordiertie and body-centered cubic chondrodite through heat treatment at temperatures higher than that used for the crystallization of mica. SiO2-Na2O-Al2O3-LaF3 glass-ceramics doped with Eu2+ were synthesized as an efficient inorganic color converter for 400 nm UV-LED. When Eu2+ formed within the glass matrix, the obtained glass showed cyan emission under 400 nm excitation, but its emission peak drastically shifted to greenish yellow upon heat treatment. With heat treatment the glass-ceramic also showed highly increased emission intensity, and the color coordinate of the glass-ceramic shifted to yellow. When it was mounted on top of a 400 nm UV-LED, it demonstrated high color conversion efficiency and practical feasibility as an UV-LED color converter. To vary the color coordination the heat-treatment conditions and the thickness of the glass-ceramic were adjusted. The resulting ceramic showed a high quantum yield of up to 78%, which is comparable to conventional ceramic phosphors. The spectral change in the glass-ceramic is attributed to the formation of nepheline and LaF3 crystalline phases. X-ray diffractometer (XRD), transmission electron microscope with energy dispervise spectroscopy (TEM-EDS) and cathode luminescence (CL) were used to investigate the mechanism of Eu2+-doped nepheline crystal formation, and its effect on the spectral change with heat treatment. 相似文献

A method for the joining of silicon carbide using a cordierite glass-ceramic has been developed. Cordierite, with glass-ceramic processing, remains amorphous and wets the SiC substrate to form a strong bond when rapidly fired. Subsequent heat treatment crystallizes a multiphase interlayer with a matching bulk thermal expansion coefficient (CTE). A benchtop tape casting method for depositing joining precursor films of varying thickness is described. The wetting characteristics of cordierite on SiC that are pertinent to the joining process are shown to be highly sensitive to processing atmosphere. Doping with a fluoride ion flux can lower the peak processing temperature without significantly altering the crystallization path. The effect of interlayer thickness is observed by monitoring indentation crack paths and with 4-point bending tests. Controlling the degree of crystallinity is shown to tailor the mismatches in thermal expansion coefficient and elastic moduli to produce joints of high strength (σF > 500 MPa). The Li–Al–Si glass-ceramics were prepared by conventional glass-ceramic fabrication method. The influences of Na2O content on the sintering property, microstructure, and coefficient of thermal expansion were investigated. The results show that the coefficient of thermal expansion of LAS glass-ceramics can be tailored to match that of silicon by the addition of Na2O content. Na2O has a remarkable influence on the crystallinity of Li–Al–Si glass-ceramic. The coefficient of thermal expansion of Li–Al–Si glass-ceramic is thus tunable between that of glass phase and crystal phase. The Si–O bond length change in stretch vibration modes introduced by Na2O also contributes to the variation of coefficient of thermal expansion of the Li–Al–Si glass-ceramics. The coefficient of thermal expansion of the Li–Al–Si glass-ceramic with 1.5 wt% Na2O addition is about +3.34 ppm/°C at 350 °C and shows a good compatibility to that of silicon in a wide temperature range, which makes it a promising candidate for anodic bondable low temperature co-fired ceramic substrate applications. 相似文献

Glass-ceramic materials were produced from fly ash samples obtained from the Seyitömer thermal power plant in Turkey. Glass samples were crystallized by suitable nucleation and crystal growth heat treatments on the basis of DTA results. The microstructural analysis of glass-ceramic samples were carried out using SEM and XRD techniques. SEM investigations clearly demonstrated the presence of a tiny crystallized phase dispersed in the microstructure. XRD results revealed that the main crystalline phase was diopside [Ca(Mg,Al)(Si,Al)2O6]. It was observed that the mechanical properties and the thermal expansion coefficient of the glass-ceramic samples depend only on the amount of the crystalline phase. Ion exchange can be used to mechanically reinforce dental glass-ceramics to reduce the problems associated to the flaws created upon various processing steps and handling. This work introduces a novel ion exchange method to the field of dental glass-ceramic to increase the possibilities of preparing highly reliable glass-ceramic restorations. The aim of the study was to compare Electric Field-Assisted Ion Exchange with conventional method, for newly developed nepheline based dental glass-ceramic. Multicomponent glass system was synthesized using melt-quench method and then prepared into glass-ceramic specimens via powder sinter-crystallisation route. The prepared glass-ceramic specimens were tested for bi-axial flexural strength before and after ion exchange according to the dental ceramics ISO 6872:2015. Ion exchange process was carried out in molten potassium nitride and the potassium penetration depth determined by EDXS was found greater and occurring in a matter of minutes within the nepheline crystal structure during electrical field assisted ion exchange compared with several hours of conventional treatment. The newly developed nepheline glass-ceramic system and the results achieved by electrical field assisted ion exchange may renew the ion exchange concept for dental application. 相似文献
