Waste incineration is a treatment system that reduces waste volume while capturing or destroying potentially harmful substances and recovers energy and chemical contents from wastes. Grate incinerator is one of the thermal treatment methods in waste incinerations. The incineration grates are exposed to high heat flux due to the occurrence of combustion on their surface. Therefore, cooling the incineration grate is one of the main issues in these treatments. In this study, the conjugate heat transfer between the cooling water and incineration grate is investigated numerically. We consider different geometries of the internal guide vane in the cooling channel and analyze the effects of the shapes of the guide vane on the heat transfer performance in the incineration grate. We also calculate the fluid residence time in the cooling channel and investigate the relation between the heat transfer performance and residence time of the cooling fluid. Results confirm that the maximum residence time of the cooling fluid can be reduced, from which the heat transfer performance can be improved. 相似文献

A press- and specimen holder system is described, whereby thin, freeze-dried cryosections can be obtained more conveniently and with greater protection against contamination and harmful temperature fluctuations. The use of a grid and retainer assembly as the basic working unit, greatly facilitates low temperature work particularly when delicate grids are preferable from an analytical point of view. A new press has been constructed in order to keep the sections permanently pressed during freeze-drying and rewarming. 人们往往视振动为有害的物理现象,而当人们一旦掌握了它的规律,便可有效地利用它为人类服务,自动机的振动送料、金属切削加工中的振动钻孔以及德国近几年研制出的小型纸张打孔机等都是振动有效利用的很好例子。受此启发,研究一种振动裁切的新机构,达到了提高纸张裁切精度、减少刀床工作冲击、节约能耗的目的。设计了具有振动裁切机构的切纸试验台,在试验台上对裁切不同厚度纸张过程中以不同频率激振时所产生的裁切力的幅值进行了精确地采集和处理,验证了振动裁切的可行性,寻找到了裁切的最优激振频率,大大减少了振动冲击,达到了预期目标。 相似文献

In order to extend the range of application of mineral lubricating oils, lubricant technologists attempt to enhance inherent oil properties by incorporating small amounts of additives. While there is little doubt that they succeed in their primary objective, additives by their very nature tend to be more reactive than the oils in which they are incorporated and there is always the risk of unexpected side effects in their use. This paper gives examples from industrial machines where lubricating oil additives have been responsible for serious lubrication problems and concludes that additives should only be used in situations where they are essential: full consideration should be given to possible harmful side effects 相似文献
