发动机的进气系统对整个发动机的动力性、经济性和排放特性都有很大的影响,影响因素主要包括进气歧管、总管的尺寸、结构和形状以及稳压腔的容积。混合动力汽车发动机由于工作过程中电机的介入,其常用工作范围多落在某个区域,所以需要重点对这些工作区域进行优化。笔者通过发动机过程仿真软件对发动机工作过程进行模拟计算,观察改变进气系统的几何参数后对发动机充气效率以及有效功率的影响,来改进进气系统。 相似文献

The effect of the amount of hydrogen/ethyl alcohol addition on the performance and pollutant emission of a four-stroke spark ignition engine has been studied. The results of the study show that all engine performance parameters have been improved when operating the gasoline spark ignition engine with dual addition of hydrogen and ethyl alcohol. The important improvements of alcohol addition are to reduce the NOx emission while increasing the higher useful compression ratio and output power of hydrogen-supplemented engine. An equation has been derived from experimental data to specify the least quantity of ethyl alcohol blended with gasoline and satisfying constant NOx emission when hydrogen is added. A chart limiting the safe operation zone of the engine fueled with dual renewable supplemented fuel, (hydrogen and ethyl alcohol) has been produced. The safe zone provides lower NOx and CO emission, lower s.f.c. and higher brake power compared to an equivalent gasoline engine. When ethyl alcohol is increased over 30%, it causes unstable engine operation which can be related to the fact that the fuel is not vaporized, and this causes a reduction in both break power and efficiency. 相似文献

Previous investigations have demonstrated that improvements in gasoline engine performance can be accomplished if the valve timing is variable. In this work valve timing strategies for maximizing engine torque and minimizing bsfc in terms of the exhaust opening (EO), intake opening (IO) and intake closing (IC) timings of a commercial SI engine are studied. The MICE (Modeling Internal Combustion Engines) computer program, which simulates an actual SI cycle, has been used. Overall performance characteristics such as the cycle efficiency, engine power, and exhaust gas composition are calculated. The model has been calibrated with data obtained from a measured indicator diagram, and validated against the overall performances of the engine. It is concluded that when both valves and spark timings are optimized, the optimal timing of each valve, depends apparently linearly on the engine load, linearly (in a good approximation) on the engine speed, while the slope depends in a weak manner on the engine load. When VVT is employed, the maximum engine power has been increased by 6%, and the engine bsfc has been decreased by 13%. The maximum torque has been shifted towards a lower engine speed. The present results are summarized as working maps for the engine designer. These show the influence of the intake and exhaust valve timing on the engine performance at the entire range of operation conditions (engine load and speed). 相似文献

An optimal performance analysis of an internally and externally irreversible solar driven heat engine has been carried out. A Carnot-type heat engine model for radiative and convective boundary conditions was used to consider the effects of the finite-rate heat transfer and internal irreversibilities. The power and power density functions have been derived and maximization of these functions has been carried out for various design parameters. The optimum design parameters have been derived and the obtained results for maximum power (MP) and maximum power density (MPD) conditions have been compared.
