The problem of delay-dependent stability analysis is investigated for discrete-time Markovian jump neural networks with mixed time-delays (both discrete and infinity-distributed time delays). The Markov chain in the underlying neural networks is finite piecewise homogeneous. A delay-dependent condition is derived for the addressed neural networks to be globally asymptotically stable. As an extension, we further consider the stability analysis problem for the same type of neural networks but with partially known transition probabilities. Two numerical examples are given to demonstrate the usefulness of the derived methods.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the state estimation problem for a new class of discrete-time neural networks with Markovian jumping parameters and mixed time-delays. The parameters of the neural networks under consideration switch over time subject to a Markov chain. The networks involve both the discrete-time-varying delay and the mode-dependent distributed time-delay characterized by the upper and lower boundaries dependent on the Markov chain. By constructing novel Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals, sufficient conditions are firstly established to guarantee the exponential stability in mean square for the addressed discrete-time neural networks with Markovian jumping parameters and mixed time-delays. Then, the state estimation problem is coped with for the same neural network where the goal is to design a desired state estimator such that the estimation error approaches zero exponentially in mean square. The derived conditions for both the stability and the existence of desired estimators are expressed in the form of matrix inequalities that can be solved by the semi-definite programme method. A numerical simulation example is exploited to demonstrate the usefulness of the main results obtained.  相似文献

In this paper, the stability analysis problem for a new class of discrete-time neural networks with randomly discrete and distributed time-varying delays has been investigated. Compared with the previous work, the distributed delay is assumed to be time-varying. Moreover, the effects of both variation range and probability distribution of mixed time-delays are taken into consideration in the proposed approach. The distributed time-varying delays and coupling term in complex networks are considered by introducing two Bernoulli stochastic variables. By using some novel analysis techniques and Lyapunov–Krasovskii function, some delay-distribution-dependent conditions are derived to ensure that the discrete-time complex network with randomly coupling term and distributed time-varying delay is synchronized in mean square. A numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and the applicability of the proposed method.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

In this paper, we study the robust H performance for discrete-time T-S fuzzy switched memristive stochastic neural networks with mixed time-varying delays and switching signal design. The neural network under consideration is subject to time-varying and norm bounded parameter uncertainties. Decomposing of the delay interval approach is employed in both the discrete delays and distributed delays. By constructing a proper Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF) with triple summation terms and using an improved summation inequality techniques. Sufficient conditions are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) to guarantee the considered discrete-time neural networks to be exponentially stable. Finally, numerical examples with simulation results are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the developed theoretical results.  相似文献

This paper deals with the event triggered filtering problem for a class of delayed discrete-time Markov jump neural networks, where a resilient filter with parameter uncertainties is adopted. The aim of this paper is to design a suitable filter which ensures that the filtering error system is stochastically stable and satisfies a prescribed mixed passivity and H performance. Sufficient conditions for solvability of such a problem are developed. Based on the obtained conditions, an explicit expression of the desired resilient filter is proposed. Finally, an example is presented to show the usefulness of the proposed scheme.

In this paper, the global asymptotic stability analysis problem is investigated for a class of stochastic bi-directional associative memory (BAM) networks with mixed time-delays and parameter uncertainties. The mixed time-delays consist of both the discrete and the distributed delays, the uncertainties are assumed to be norm-bounded, and the neural network are subject to stochastic disturbances described by a Brownian motion. Without assuming the monotonicity and differentiability of activation functions, we employ the Lyapunov–Krasovskii stability theory and some new developed techniques to establish sufficient conditions for the stochastic delayed BAM networks to be globally asymptotically stable in the mean square. These conditions are expressed in terms of the feasibility to a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) that can be easily checked by utilizing the numerically efficient Matlab LMI toolbox. A simple example is exploited to show the usefulness of the derived LMI-based stability conditions.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the state feedback control problem for a class of discrete-time stochastic systems involving sector nonlinearities and mixed time-delays. The mixed time-delays comprise both discrete and distributed delays, and the sector nonlinearities appear in the system states and all delayed states. The distributed time-delays in the discrete-time domain are first defined and then a special matrix inequality is developed to handle the distributed time-delays within an algebraic framework. An effective linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach is proposed to design the state feedback controllers such that, for all admissible nonlinearities and time-delays, the overall closed-loop system is asymptotically stable in the mean square sense. Sufficient conditions are established for the nonlinear stochastic time-delay systems to be asymptotically stable in the mean square sense, and then the explicit expression of the desired controller gains is derived. A numerical example is provided to show the usefulness and effectiveness of the proposed design method.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the problem of robust exponential stability for a class of hybrid stochastic neural networks with mixed time-delays and Markovian jumping parameters. In this paper, free-weighting matrices are employed to express the relationship between the terms in the Leibniz–Newton formula. Based on the relationship, a linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach is developed to establish the desired sufficient conditions for the mixed time-delays neural networks with Markovian jumping parameters. Finally, two simulation examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the results developed.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the exponential stability analysis problem for a class of neutral bidirectional associative memory neural networks with mixed time-delays, where discrete, distributed and neutral delays are involved. By utilizing the delay decomposition approach and an appropriately constructed Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, some novel delay-dependent and decay rate-dependent criteria for the exponential stability of the considered neural networks are derived and presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Furthermore, the maximum allowable decay rate can be estimated based on the obtained results. Three numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper considers the design of state estimator for Takagi?CSugeno (T?CS) fuzzy neural networks with mixed time-varying interval delays. The mixed time-delays that consist of both the discrete time-varying and distributed time-delays with a given range are presented. The activation functions are assumed to be globally Lipschitz continuous. By using the Lyapunov-Krasovskii method, a linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach is developed to construct sufficient conditions for the existence of admissible state estimator such that the error-state system is exponentially globally stable. To avoid complex mathematical derivations and conservative results, a new hybrid Taguchi-genetic algorithm method is integrated with a LMI method to seek the estimator gains that satisfy the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional stability inequalities. The proposed new approach is straightforward and well adapted to the computer implementation. Therefore, the computational complexity can be reduced remarkably and facilitate the design task of the estimator for T?CS fuzzy neural networks with time-varying interval delays. Two illustrative examples are exploited in order to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed state estimator.  相似文献

In this paper, the intermittent control synchronization of complex-valued memristive recurrent neural networks with time-delays is investigated. As a generalization on the real-valued memristive recurrent neural networks, complex-valued memristive recurrent neural networks own more complicated properties. In complex-valued domain, bounded and analytic complex-valued activation functions do not exist. Some assumptions about activation functions in real-valued domain cannot be applied directly to complex-valued fields. By appropriate transformation, complex-valued memristive recurrent neural networks can be divided into real parts and imaginary parts, which can avoid discussing the bounded and analytic. In the framework of differential inclusion theory and Lyapunov method, sufficient criteria of intermittent control synchronization are established. Finally, a simulation is given to verify the validity and feasibility of the sufficient conditions.

This paper deals with the delay-dependent asymptotic stability analysis problem for a class of fuzzy bidirectional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with time-varying interval delays and Markovian jumping parameters by Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy model. The nonlinear delayed BAM neural networks are first established as a modified T–S fuzzy model in which the consequent parts are composed of a set of Markovian jumping BAM neural networks with time-varying interval delays. The jumping parameters considered here are generated from a continuous-time discrete-state homogeneous Markov process, which are governed by a Markov process with discrete and finite-state space. The new type of Markovian jumping matrices Pk and Qk are introduced in this paper. The parameter uncertainties are assumed to be norm bounded and the delay is assumed to be time-varying and belong to a given interval, which means that the lower and upper bounds of interval time-varying delays are available. A new delay-dependent stability condition is derived in terms of linear matrix inequality by constructing a new Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and introducing some free-weighting matrices. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.  相似文献

This paper studies the continuous attractors of discrete-time recurrent neural networks. Networks in discrete time can directly provide algorithms for efficient implementation in digital hardware. Continuous attractors of neural networks have been used to store and manipulate continuous stimuli for animals. A continuous attractor is defined as a connected set of stable equilibrium points. It forms a lower dimensional manifold in the original state space. Under some conditions, the complete analytical expressions for the continuous attractors of discrete-time linear recurrent neural networks as well as discrete-time linear-threshold recurrent neural networks are derived. Examples are employed to illustrate the theory.  相似文献

The existing approaches to the discrete-time nonlinear output regulation problem rely on the offline solution of a set of mixed nonlinear functional equations known as discrete regulator equations. For complex nonlinear systems, it is difficult to solve the discrete regulator equations even approximately. Moreover, for systems with uncertainty, these approaches cannot offer a reliable solution. By combining the approximation capability of the feedforward neural networks (NNs) with an online parameter optimization mechanism, we develop an approach to solving the discrete nonlinear output regulation problem without solving the discrete regulator equations explicitly. The approach of this paper can be viewed as a discrete counterpart of our previous paper on approximately solving the continuous-time nonlinear output regulation problem.  相似文献

This article discusses the robust stability problem for a class of uncertain Markovian jump discrete-time neural networks with partly unknown transition probabilities and mixed mode-dependent time delays. The transition probabilities of the mode jumps are considered to be partly unknown, which relax the traditional assumption in Markovian jump systems that all of them must be completely known a priori. The mixed time delays consist of both discrete and distributed delays that are dependent on the Markovian jump modes. By employing the Lyapunov functional and linear matrix inequality approach, some sufficient criteria are derived for the robust stability of the underlying systems. A numerical example is exploited to illustrate the developed theory.  相似文献

In this paper, a synchronization problem is investigated for an array of coupled stochastic discrete-time neural networks with both discrete and distributed time-varying delays. By utilizing a novel Lyapunov function and the Kronecker product, it is shown that the addressed stochastic discrete-time neural networks is synchronized if certain linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) are feasible. Neither any model transformation nor free-weighting matrices are employed in the derivation of the results obtained, and they can be solved efficiently via the Matlab LMI Toolbox. The proposed synchronization criteria are less conservative than some recently known ones in the literature, which is demonstrated via two numerical examples.  相似文献

This paper investigates the globally asymptotical stability problem for a general class of Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with multiple mixed time-delays. Before proving the main theorem, a more generalized convex combination inequality is proposed. A new stability criterion for Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with multiple time-varying delays is obtained by the employed general inequality technique. Two examples are included to illustrate the effectiveness of the presented results.  相似文献

This paper focuses on the problem of exponential stability in the sense of Lagrange for impulses in discrete-time delayed recurrent neural networks. By establishing a delayed impulsive discrete inequality and a novel difference inequality, combining with inequality techniques, some novel sufficient conditions are obtained to ensure exponential Lagrange stability for impulses in discrete-time delayed recurrent neural networks. Meanwhile, exponentially convergent scope of neural network is given. Finally, several numerical simulations are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of our results.  相似文献

The singular linear-quadratic optimal control problem for a class of discrete-time linear singular systems with multiple time-delays is investigated. The equivalent relationship between this problem and the non-singular linear-quadratic problem for standard state-space discrete-time linear systems without time-delay is derived, and the necessary and sufficient condition guaranteeing this equivalent relationship is also given. The optimal control is synthesized as state feedback, and the closed-loop system is regular, impulse-free and without time-delay. An example is given to show the validity of the proposed method.  相似文献
