CMMB转播系统     
CMMB是英文China Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting(中国移动数字多媒体广播)的简称。目前CMMB的主要业务为视频广播业务,因为受终端硬件的约束,目前只能在配有CMMB模块的设备上观看CMMB视频节目。提出了一种基于CMMB系统的数字电视转播系统,阐述了系统架构以及各部分的设计与实现,并对H.264、AAC的RTP传输、解码、同步表现等关键技术与算法进行了详细的说明。经实验证明,该系统能够完成CMMB数字电视转播,并且能够使多个用户在Windows,Linux,Symbian三类操作系统的终端下共享收看到数字电视节目。扩展了通用终端的功能,节约了用户的经济投入,并且解决了CMMB室内覆盖不足的缺点。  相似文献

随着数字电视的普及,电视节目无论在数量还是种类上都在不断的增加,给用户带来了众多的可选择性。虽然在选择性上具有了较大的提升,但是用户搜索自己感兴趣的节目成为了一个繁琐的过程。针对这一问题,设计并实现了基于TS传输流的数字电视节目推荐系统。系统分为服务端和客户端,服务端根据数字电视的电子节目指南(EPG)信息,针对每一个节目,利用节目的相关属性形成节目推荐列表,对所形成的节目推荐列表进行TS打包,以TS流的方式进行传输。客户端解析TS流,得到节目推荐列表。  相似文献

In recent years, cloud computing technology has matured significantly, as has the development of digital TV services. This, therefore, has led to an increased demand for improved quality TV services. In this paper, cloud computing technology is used to build a program recommendation system for digital TV programs, and the Hadoop Fair Scheduler is utilized to improve processing performance. Historical data of watched TV programs are collected through an electronic program guide, and then processed using K-means clustering, term frequency/inverse document frequency and k-nearest neighbor algorithms, to obtain clusters of audience groups and to find popular TV programs for each cluster. The TV-Anytime standard describes the structures of categories of digital TV program metadata, as well as user profile metadata for TV programs. We describe a natural language (NL) model for the users to interact with the TV-Anytime metadata and preview TV programs from their mobile devices. The language utilises completely the TV-Anytime metadata specifications (upper ontologies), as well as domain-specific ontologies. The interaction model does not use clarification dialogues, but it uses the user profiles as well as TV-Anytime metadata information and ontologies to rank the possible responses in case of ambiguities. We describe implementations of the model that run on a PDA and on a mobile phone, and manage the metadata on a remote TV-Anytime-compatible TV set. We present user evaluations of the approach. Finally, we propose a generalised implementation framework that can be used to easily provide NL interfaces for mobile devices for different applications and ontologies.  相似文献

The television (TV) is one of the most common entertainment devices in homes. Searching and finding TV programs is a common task and using TV guides is one way of performing this. This paper presents three studies that are focused on examining audiences’ TV habits and TV guide usage, evaluating a new concept based on linking paper and pen with TV technology, and studying the audiences’ attitudes toward and anticipated interest in the future guide. The results of our first study emphasize the value of using paper based TV guides and also identify the deficiencies. We also found indications that the advantages and disadvantages of paper-based TV guides are related to the physical properties of paper. Thus, we suggest a solution that uses digital pen and paper technology to offer a new interaction method for TV. A research system “Paper Remote”, is developed and used in the two subsequent studies. Viewers tick designated areas on the paper-based guide to perform actions such as channel switching. However, this solution is not a substitute for the remote control device. We argue that these user studies on linking digital paper to the TV for everyday information navigation illuminate the possibilities of providing innovative solutions also for home information systems also.  相似文献

With the advance of digital video recording and playback systems, the request for efficiently managing recorded TV video programs is evident so that users can readily locate and browse their favorite programs. In this paper, we propose a multimodal scheme to segment and represent TV video streams. The scheme aims to recover the temporal and structural characteristics of TV programs with visual, auditory, and textual information. In terms of visual cues, we develop a novel concept named program-oriented informative images (POIM) to identify the candidate points correlated with the boundaries of individual programs. For audio cues, a multiscale Kullback-Leibler (K-L) distance is proposed to locate audio scene changes (ASC), and accordingly ASC is aligned with video scene changes to represent candidate boundaries of programs. In addition, latent semantic analysis (LSA) is adopted to calculate the textual content similarity (TCS) between shots to model the inter-program similarity and intra-program dissimilarity in terms of speech content. Finally, we fuse the multimodal features of POIM, ASC, and TCS to detect the boundaries of programs including individual commercials (spots). Towards effective program guide and attracting content browsing, we propose a multimodal representation of individual programs by using POIM images, key frames, and textual keywords in a summarization manner. Extensive experiments are carried out over an open benchmarking dataset TRECVID 2005 corpus and promising results have been achieved. Compared with the electronic program guide (EPG), our solution provides a more generic approach to determine the exact boundaries of diverse TV programs even including dramatic spots.  相似文献

With the advent of new cable and satellite services, and the next generation of digital TV systems, people are faced with an unprecedented level of program choice. This often means that viewers receive much more information than they can actually manage, which may lead them to believe that they are missing programs that could likely interest them. In this context, TV program recommendation systems allow us to cope with this problem by automatically matching user’s likes to TV programs and recommending the ones with higher user preference.This paper describes the design, development, and startup of queveo.tv: a Web 2.0 TV program recommendation system. The proposed hybrid approach (which combines content-filtering techniques with those based on collaborative filtering) also provides all typical advantages of any social network, such as supporting communication among users as well as allowing users to add and tag contents, rate and comment the items, etc. To eliminate the most serious limitations of collaborative filtering, we have resorted to a well-known matrix factorization technique in the implementation of the item-based collaborative filtering algorithm, which has shown a good behavior in the TV domain. Every step in the development of this application was taken keeping always in mind the main goal: to simplify as much as possible the user task of selecting what program to watch on TV.  相似文献
