以K9玻璃与熔石英玻璃代替传统的液体或气体作为纵向受激布里渊散射(LSBS)样品,波长1.064μm,脉宽12 ns的单纵模电光调QNd∶YAG激光器作抽运光,实验上以脉宽压缩和后向斯托克斯(Stokes)散射光频移为标志,测到后向斯托克斯散射光线宽和散射光脉宽压缩比。研究了纵向受激布里渊散射样品的长度、抽运光能量大小、材料种类对纵向受激布里渊散射脉宽压缩效应和散射光能量提取效率的影响。实验结果表明,熔石英与K9玻璃的受激布里渊散射发生阈值、饱和阈值、散射光能量提取效率、散射光脉冲波形均相近,K9玻璃可以成为一种更廉价的受激布里渊散射介质。针对170 mm的熔石英玻璃样品,找到了纵向受激布里渊散射的发生阈值、饱和阈值,并得到了较高的散射光能量提取效率,从100 mm的熔石英玻璃中获得了87%的散射光能量提取效率,而从170 mm的熔石英中获得了90%左右的散射光能量提取效率。实验数据拟合的规律曲线印证了数值模拟结果。  相似文献

用单纵模Nd∶YAG二倍频激光(波长532 nm,线宽0.003 cm-1,脉宽(半峰全宽,FWHM)6.5 ns)抽运H2/He气体,观察到很强的后向一阶斯托克斯(BS1)受激拉曼散射。在H2的分压分别为1.0 MPa和1.5 MPa的H2/He(体积比)(3/7)混合气体中,当抽运能量为92 mJ时,后向一阶斯托克斯光的量子转换效率高达69%左右,而在纯H2中后向一阶斯托克斯光的量子转换效率分别只有15%和18%。这是因为加入He增强了后向拉曼散射多普勒线宽的Dicke压窄效应,使后向一阶斯托克斯光的拉曼增益系数与前向一阶斯托克斯(FS1)光的拉曼增益系数的比率提高,而且因为后向一阶斯托克斯光与抽运光在反方向传播,它可以提取大部分抽运光的能量,并且脉冲被压窄到1.1 ns,使后向一阶斯托克斯光峰值功率达到了抽运光的2.6倍。从激光光斑的强度分布可以观察到后向一阶斯托克斯光呈现为抽运光的相位共轭波。  相似文献

脉冲Nd:YAG三倍频激光(355 nm)泵浦CH4的受激拉曼散射第一级斯托克斯光(395.6 nm)用作NO2差分吸收激光雷达的λon.为研究CH4的受激拉曼散射效应和定量解释其物理机理作了数值模拟计算,并作了一系列的实验.通过调节泵浦能量、光束质量和气体压强,得到了各级散射光的能量转化效率与三者间的函数关系,找到了第一级斯托克斯光的优化条件.  相似文献

研究了外腔钨酸铅(PbWO4)拉曼激光器的输出特性,介绍了由1064nm纳秒脉冲激发的PbWO4固态拉曼放大器。实验所用的抽运源是电光调Q的Nd…YAG纳秒激光器。对于外腔PbWO4拉曼激光器,当入射抽运脉冲能量为40mJ时,实验测得一阶斯托克斯脉冲的最大转换效率为13%,当入射抽运脉冲能量为48mJ时,实验得到包括一阶斯托克斯脉冲在内的总散射光的转换效率为34%,获得的二阶斯托克斯脉冲的转换效率为23%。PbWO4拉曼放大器是对外腔PbWO4拉曼激光器产生的一阶斯托克斯脉冲进行放大,实验获得的放大后一阶斯托克斯脉冲的最大输出能量为11mJ,放大倍数为3.3。  相似文献

以K9玻璃与熔石英玻璃代替传统的液体或气体作为纵向受激布里渊散射(LSBS)样品,波长1.064μm,脉宽可调的单纵模电光调Q激光器作抽运光,实验探讨了抽运光脉宽、抽运光能量大小、抽运光脉冲重复频率对纵向受激布里渊散射脉宽压缩效应和散射光能量提取效率的影响。实验结果表明,抽运激光脉冲重复频率高,则散射光能量提取效率高;脉宽小,则散射光能量提取效率高;焦距为500 mm时300 mm长的K9玻璃中得到的散射光能量提取效率比170 mm长的熔石英玻璃高;在抽运光脉冲重复频率为1 Hz时,二者都可以得到90%的散射光能量提取效率。探讨了抽运光为多纵模时,固体介质中受激布里渊散射与光学击穿相伴发生的三种不同情况。实验证明,多纵模情况下固体光学介质中同样可以发生受激布里渊散射;多纵模情况下不一定会对固体光学介质产生光学击穿破坏;光学击穿破坏的发生也不一定会阻止受激布里渊散射的发生,二者可以相伴发生。  相似文献

利用 Nd:YAG四倍频激光抽运氘气 (D2 )的受激拉曼效应 ,获得一阶斯托克斯 (Stokes)波长2 89nm。通过改变拉曼介质 D2 气压与抽运光能量 ,获得了一阶斯托克斯输出的较佳条件。该波长与 Xe Cl准分子激光波长 30 8nm采用差分吸收方法 ,建立了用于对流层臭氧探测的激光雷达 ,并初步获得了对流层大气臭氧的垂直分布及其时间变化特征。  相似文献

Stimulated rotational Raman scattering in a 300 K multipass cell filled with para-H2with a single-mode CO2pump laser was studied using a single-mode OPO as a probe laser at the Stokes frequency for the So(0) transition. Amplification and pump depletion are examined as a function of incident pump energy. For an incident CO2pump laser energy of 1.5 J, a photon conversion efficiency of 47 percent is observed.  相似文献

Stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) experiments have been performed using an ∼2 J,sim0.4 mus pulsewidth XeF* laser as the pump and high-pressure molecular hydrogen as the Raman-active medium. The SRS conversion efficiency and spectral distribution have been characterized as functions of H2pressure and pump laser focal parameters. Energy conversion efficiencies of >60 percent have been obtained, with the converted energy in first and second Stokes radiation, at 414 nm and 500 nm, respectively.  相似文献

The dependence of the first Stokes stimulated Raman conversion efficiency of fourth-harmonic radiation from a Nd:YAG laser at 266 nm has been studied for the isotopic species H2, HD, and D2 as a function of gas pressure and laser energy using a low numerical aperture (~4.5×10-3) pumping geometry. While the laser energy threshold for first Stokes conversion is seen to vary significantly between the species it has been found that photon conversion efficiencies of at least 50% can be achieved for all of them for laser pump energies at 266 nm ⩽50 mJ/pulse. This study provides a new measurement of the differential cross section for stimulated Raman scattering in HD of 8.1±2.4×10-29 cm2/sr at 266 nm and at high pressures, and agreement is found with previous measurements of the cross sections for H2 and D2. The results have been used to optimize the laser transmitter system for a differential absorption lidar (DIAL) system to measure tropospheric ozone concentration profiles  相似文献

Raman conversion of a high-repetition-rate Q-switched Nd:YAG laser using a gaseous H2 Raman medium is reported. With a H2 cell placed in a focusing intracavity Raman oscillator, 3 W of average power at 1.9 μm was obtained from a 15-W 1.06-μm laser operating at 2 kHz. Although the pump beam was multimode, the Stokes output was diffraction limited. At kilohertz repetition rates, conversion efficiencies were improved with a flowing gas cell which substantially reduced the thermal lensing effect in the Raman medium. A highly efficient extracavity Raman laser pumped by the infrared nanosecond laser pulses is presented utilizing the recently recommended Raman medium-strontium tungstate crystal (SrWO/sub 4/). The maximum conversion efficiency of the first and second Stokes pulses both reached about 50%, and the maximum total conversion efficiency of the first and second Stokes was obtained to be 70% in the experiment. The conversion efficiency dependence on the polarization and the temporal characteristics of the Stokes and pump pulses were also studied. A theoretical model for the solid-state extracavity Raman laser was established based on the radiation transfer equations describing stimulated Raman scattering processes, and solved numerically. This model can accurately predict the energy transfer dynamics observed in extracavity Raman lasers.  相似文献

We report a compact all-fiber gas Raman light source based on hydrogen-filled HC-PCF gas cell with a SM Q-switched fiber laser as the Raman pump source. Theoretical model of the hydrogen SRS based on HC-PCF pumped with Q-switched fiber laser is also analyzed. Simulated results show that the Stokes pulse is much narrower than the pump pulse, and both the Stokes pulse duration and conversion efficiency are increased with the pump pulse energy of the same duration pump pulses. The experimental results are in agreement with the theoretical results in change trend. For the 120 ns pump pulses with the repetition rate of 5 kHz, the threshold pump energy and conversion efficiency at the threshold are 1.146 μJ and 2.69%.  相似文献

理论和实验研究了调Q光纤激光脉冲抽运基于氢气填充空芯光子晶体光纤气体腔的全光纤型气体拉曼光源的特性。抽运光脉冲波长为1064.7nm时,产生的Stokes频移光波长为1135.7nm。理论和实验结果均表明,产生的Stokes频移光脉冲宽度远小于抽运光脉冲,并且,Stokes频移光脉冲宽度随抽运光脉冲能量的提升而增加。此外,减小抽运光脉冲宽度,可以降低拉曼阈值抽运能量、提高Stokes频移光的转换效率。在重复频率为5kHz、脉冲宽度为125ns的调Q光纤激光脉冲抽运下,实验测得拉曼阈值抽运能量和拉曼阈值点处转换效率分别为2.13μJ和9.82%。  相似文献

Anti-Stokes Raman laser schemes in atomic sulphur and selenium are studied, allowing conversion of laser lines out of the 350- 178 nm range into the 200-130 nm range. The necessary population inversion with respect to the atomic metastable1S0levels is produced by photodissociation of the molecules COS and COSe with F2and ArF laser radiation, respectively. Anti-Stokes laser radiation at 167.5 and 158.7 nm for Se and at 182.0, 148.7, and 148.3 nm for S has been generated. Threshold pump energies of 0.1-20 μJ and output energies up to 5 μJ have been observed. At present, the systems are operated at low pump energies, just above threshold. It is expected that by the use of much higher pump energies and by further improvement of system parameters, output energies in the mJ range at MW peak powers will be possible for the VUV transitions.  相似文献
