Nano-γ-Al2O3 is dispersed onto the glass carbon electrode (GCE) by polishing. This nanostructured modified GCE exhibits a great enhancement to the redox responses of 3-nitrobenzaldehyde thiosemicarbazone (3-NBT). In comparison with bare GCE, 3-NBT gives a more sensitive voltammetric response because of the nanoparticle’s unique properties. The lowest detectable concentration (3σ) of 3-NBT is estimated to be 1.18 × 10−6 M (accumulation for 4 min). The linear relationship between peak current and concentration of 3-NBT holds in the range 1.0 × 10−5 M to 1.0 × 10−4 M (r = 0.9981). The electrochemical properties of 3-NBT on this modified electrode have been investigated with various electrochemical methods. The results indicate that the transference of one electron and one proton involves electrode radical reaction processes I and II, respectively. The coverage value (Γ) of 1.62 × 10−9 mol cm−2 was calculated and the electrochemical parameters, diffusion coefficient D (2.54 × 10−3 cm2 s−1, 2.03 × 10−3 cm2 s−1) and reaction rate constant ks (5.9573 s−1, 7.15 × 10−2 cm s−1) were obtained for quasi-reversible system I and irreversible system II, respectively.  相似文献

A multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) modified carbon ionic liquid electrode (CILE) was fabricated and used to investigate the electrochemical behavior of guanosine. CILE was prepared by mixing hydrophilic ionic liquid 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate (EMIMBF4), graphite powder and liquid paraffin together. The fabricated MWCNTs/CILE showed great electrocatalytic ability to the oxidation of guanosine and an irreversible oxidation peak appeared at 1.067 V (vs. SCE) with improved peak current. The electrochemical behavior of guanosine on the MWCNTs/CILE was carefully studied by cyclic voltammetry and the electrochemical parameters such as the charge transfer coefficient (α) and the electrode reaction standard rate constant (ks) were calculated with the result as 0.66 and 2.94 × 10−4 s−1, respectively. By using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) as the detection method, a linear relationship was obtained between the oxidation peak current and the guanosine concentration in the range from 1.0 × 10−7 to 4.0 × 10−5 mol/L with the detection limit as 7.8 × 10−8 mol/L (3σ). The common coexisting substances showed no interferences to the guanosine detection and the modified electrode showed good ability to distinguish the electrochemical response of guanosine and adenosine.  相似文献

The electrochemical decoration of edge plane pyrolytic graphite electrode (EPPGE) with cobalt and cobalt oxide nanoparticles integrated with and without single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) is described. Successful modification of the electrodes was confirmed by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), AFM and EDX techniques. The electron transfer behaviour of the modified electrodes was investigated in [Fe(CN)6]3−/4− redox probe using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and discussed. The study showed that cobalt nanoparticles modified electrodes exhibit faster electron transfer behaviour than their oxides. The catalytic rate constant (K) obtained at the EPPGE-SWCNT-Co for nitrite at pH 7.4 and 3.0 are approximately the same (∼3 × 104 cm3 mol−1 s−1) while the limits of detection (LoD = 3.3δ/m) are in the μM order. From the adsorption stripping voltammetry, the electrochemical adsorption equilibrium constant β was estimated as (13.0 ± 0.1) × 103 M−1 at pH 7.4 and (56.7 ± 0.1) × 103 M−1 at pH 3.0 while the free energy change (ΔG°) due to the adsorption was estimated as −6.36 and −10.00 kJ mol−1 for nitrite at pH 7.4 and 3.0, respectively.  相似文献

The copper complex of 4,5-diazafluorene-9-one (dafone) and bromine ligands ([Cu(dafone)2]Br2) was prepared and its interaction with double-stranded salmon sperm DNA (dsDNA) in pH 8.0 Britton-Robinson (B-R) buffer solution was studied by electrochemical experiments at the glassy carbon electrode (GCE). It was revealed that Cu(dafone)2Br2 could bind with salmon sperm DNA strands mainly by intercalation mode. The binding number of [Cu(dafone)2]Br2 for each salmon sperm dsDNA chain and equilibrium constant of the binding reaction were calculated to be 3 and 2.8 × 1012 L3 mol−3, respectively. The Cu(dafone)2Br2 was further utilized as a new electrochemical DNA indicator for the detection of human hepatitis B virus (HBV) DNA fragment by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). The difference of its electrochemical responses occurred between hybridized dsDNA duplex and probe DNA was explored to assess the selectivity of the developed electrochemical DNA biosensor. The constructed electrochemical DNA biosensor achieved a detection limit of 3.18 × 10−9 mol L−1 for complementary target DNA and also realized a robust stability and good reusability.  相似文献

A new method for the determination of nimesulide was established based on the multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) modified glassy carbon electrode (MWCNTs/GCE). In 0.2 M PBS (pH 6.6) buffer solution, the MWCNTs/GCE showed a remarkable catalytic and enhancement effect on reduction of the nimesulide. The reduction peak potential of nimesulide shifted positively from −0.665 V at bare GCE to −0.553 V at MWCNTs/GCE, and the sensitivity increased ca. 7 times. A linear dynamic range of 3.2 × 10−7-6.5 × 10−5 M (R = 0.9992) with a detection limit of 1.6 × 10−7 M was obtained. The electrochemical behaviors of nimesulide were studied and electron-transfer coefficient (α = 0.45), proton number (X = 1) and electron-transfer number (n = 2) have been determined. This method has been used to determine the content of nimesulide in medical tablets. The recovery was determined to be 93.2-106.2% by means of standard addition method. Compared with UV-vis spectrometry, the method was not remarkable difference.  相似文献

An electrochemical method based on potentiometric stripping analysis (PSA) employing a cryptand [2.2.1] (CRY) and carbon nanotube (CNT) modified paste electrode (CRY-CNT-PE) has been proposed for the subnanomolar determination of bismuth. The characterization of the electrode surface has been carried out by means of scanning electron microscopy (SEM), cyclic voltammetry (CV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and chronocoulometry (CC). It was observed that by employing CRY-CNT-PE, a 9-fold enhancement in the PSA signal (dt/dE) was observed as compared to plain carbon paste electrode (PCPE). Under the optimized conditions, dt/dE (s/V) was proportional to the Bi(III) concentration in the range of 5.55 × 10−8 to 9.79 × 10−11 M (r = 0.9990) with the detection limit (S/N = 3) of 3.17 × 10−11 M. The practical analytical utilities of the modified electrode were demonstrated by the determination of bismuth in pharmaceutical formulations, human hair, sea water, urine and blood serum samples. The prepared modified electrode showed several advantages, such as a simple preparation method, high sensitivity, very low detection limits and excellent reproducibility. Moreover, the results obtained for bismuth analysis in commercial and real samples using CRY-CNT-PE and those obtained by atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) are in agreement at the 95% confidence level.  相似文献

A highly sensitive electrochemical sensor made of a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) coated with a Langmuir-Blodgett film (LB) containing polyaniline (PAn) doped with p-toluenesulfonic acid (PTSA) (LB/PAn-PTSA/GCE) has been used for the detection of trace concentrations of Ag+. UV-vis absorption spectra indicated that the PAn was doped by PTSA. The surface morphology of the PAn LB film was characterized by atomic force microscopy (AFM). The electrochemical properties of this LB/PAn-PTSA/GCE were studied using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and cyclic voltammetry. The LB/PAn-PTSA/GCE was used as a voltammetric sensor for determination of trace Ag+ at pH 5.0 using linear scanning stripping voltammetry. Under the optimal experimental conditions, the stripping current was proportional to the Ag+ concentration over the range from 6.0 × 10−10 mol L−1 to 1.0 × 10−6 mol L−1, with a detection limit of 4.0 × 10−10 mol L−1. The high sensitivity, selectivity, and stability of this LB/PAn-PTSA/GCE also demonstrated its practical utility for simple, rapid and economical determination of Ag+ in water samples.  相似文献

Stable Nafion-Au colloids were immobilized on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) for detection of β-agonist clenbuterol by electroanalysis. The Au colloids were prepared by a one-step electrodeposition onto GCE, with obvious electrocatalytic activity present. The negatively charged Nafion film was an efficient barrier to negatively charged interfering compounds, resulting in accumulation of positively charged clenbuterol at the Nafion film. The electrochemical characters of the electrode during various modified steps in a redox probe system of K4[Fe(CN)6]/K3[Fe(CN)6] were confirmed by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and AC-impedance. In Britton-Robinson (B-R) buffer solution (pH = 2.0) and the potential range of −0.2 to 1.2 V, the Nafion-Au colloid modified electrode, compared to a bare GCE, exhibits obvious electrocatalytic activity towards the redox of clenbuterol by greatly enhancing the peak current with a linear calibration curve from 8.0 × 10−7 to 1.0 × 10−5 mol/L and a detection limit of (1.0 × 10−7 mol/L) (R = 0.996). The modified electrode shows high sensitivity, selectivity and reproducibility. The recovery for detecting clenbuterol (∼10−6 mol/L) in human serum is up to 98.19%.  相似文献

A robust and effective composite film combined the benefits of room temperature ionic liquid (RTIL), chitosan (Chi) and multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) was prepared. Cytochrome c (Cyt c) was successfully immobilized on glassy carbon electrode (GCE) surface by entrapping in the composite film. Direct electrochemistry and electrocatalysis of immobilized Cyt c were investigated in detail. A pair of well-defined and quasi-reversible redox peaks of Cyt c was obtained in 0.1 mol L−1 pH 7.0 phosphate buffer solution (PBS), indicating the Chi-RTIL-MWNTs film showed an obvious promotion for the direct electron transfer between Cyt c and the underlying electrode. The immobilized Cyt c exhibited an excellent electrocatalytic activity towards the reduction of H2O2. The catalysis current was linear to H2O2 concentration in the range of 2.0 × 10−6 to 2.6 × 10−4 mol L−1, with a detection limit of 8.0 × 10−7 mol L−1 (S/N = 3). The apparent Michaelis-Menten constant (Km) was calculated to be 0.45 ± 0.02 mmol L−1. Moreover, the modified electrode displayed a rapid response (5 s) to H2O2, and possessed good stability and reproducibility. Based on the composite film, a third-generation reagentless biosensor could be constructed for the determination of H2O2.  相似文献

A glassy carbon electrode (GCE) modified with cobalt(II) meso-tetraphenylporphrine/multiwall-carbon nanotube (CoTPP/MWNT) was applied to investigate the electrochemiluminescent (ECL) behavior of luminol. The ECL intensity of luminol was found to be increased greatly on this modified electrode. The presence of cobalt(II) meso-tetraphenylporphrine (CoTPP) can catalyze the reduction of oxygen on the electrode surface to produce HOO, which can increase the ECL intensity of luminol. Moreover, MWNT can provide the more effective area of the electrode, and can act as a promoter to enhance the electrochemical reaction. The proposed method enables a detection limit for luminol of 1.0 × 10−8 mol/L in the neutral solution. Under the optimum condition, the enhanced ECL intensity of luminol by H2O2 had a linear relationship with the concentration of H2O2 in the range of 1.0 × 10−7 to 8.0 × 10−8 mol/L with the detection limit of 5.0 × 10−9 mol/L.  相似文献

A novel electroactive material for ascorbic acid (AA) determination was successfully prepared by plating/potential cycling method. The cobalt film was first deposited on the surface of glassy carbon electrode (GCE) in CoSO4 solution by potential cycling, and then a cobalt film on the surface of GCE was activated by potential cycling in 0.1 mol L−1 NaOH. The electrochemical performance of the resulted film (Co/GCE) and factors affecting its electrochemical activity were investigated by cyclic voltammetry and amperometry. This film electrode exhibited good electrocatalytic activity to the oxidation of AA. This biosensor had a fast response of AA less than 3 s and excellent linear relationships were obtained in the concentration range of 3 × 10−7 to 1 × 10−4 mol L−1 with a detection limit of 2 × 10−7 mol L−1 (S/N = 3) under the optimum conditions. Moreover, the selectivity, stability and reproducibility of this biosensor were evaluated with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A self-assembled bilayer lipid-like membrane (BLM) supported on glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was fabricated using 5,5-ditetradecyl-2-(2-trimethyl-ammonioethyl)-1,3-dioxane bromide (DTDB) for epinephrine (EP) determination in the presence of ascorbic acid (AA). This modified electrode (DTDB/GCE) has strong membrane adsorption accumulation and electrocatalytic ability toward EP and AA. The oxidation of EP was controlled by double step adsorption accumulation process of the DTDB-BLM. The parameters of fitted Langmuir isotherm Γmax, BADS, and ΔGADS values were determined as 1.0×10−11 mol cm−2, 2.04×106 dm3 mol−1, and −45.17 kJ mol−1 for the fist step for EP concentration less than 1 mM, and 4.92×10−11 mol cm−2, 7.35×104 dm3 mol−1, and −37.1 kJ mol−1 for the second step for EP concentration higher than 1 μM. The DPV peaks for EP and AA oxidations were appeared at 0.220 and 0.085 V versus SCE, respectively, allowing the determination of EP in the presence of high concentration of AA. The advantage of DTDB-BLM was demonstrated experimentally in comparison with other three BLMs, and attributed to the dioxane group as well as the suitable length of the carbon chain of DTDB molecule. The current response of the DTDB/GCE was fast and reproducible, suitable for the electrochemical sensing in flow-injection systems. A linear range of 1×10−8 to 1×10−4 M EP was preliminary obtained using a simple setup.  相似文献

Based on multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNT)/chitosan/horseradish peroxidase labeled antibodies to Shigella flexneri (HRP-anti-S. flexneri) biocomposite film on a screen-printed electrode (SPE) surface, a disposable immunosensor has been developed for the rapid detection of S. flexneri. The HRP-anti-S. flexneri can be entrapped into MWCNT/chitosan composite matrix without other cross-linking agent. Thionine and H2O2 were used as the mediator and substrate, respectively. The surface morphologies of modified films were characterized by atomic force microscope (AFM). Cyclic voltammery (CV) was carried out to characterize the electrochemical properties of the immobilization of materials on the electrode surface and quantified S. flexneri. Due to the strong electrocatalytic properties of MWCNT and HRP toward H2O2, the response signal was significantly amplified. S. flexneri could be detected by the decrease of the reduction peak current before and after immunoreaction. Under optimal conditions, S. flexneri could be detected in the range of 104 to 1010 cfu mL−1, with a detection limit of 2.3 × 103 cfu mL−1 (S/N = 3). Furthermore, the proposed immunosensor exhibited a satisfactory specificity, reproducibility, stability and accuracy, indicating that the proposed immunosensor has potential application for a facile, rapid and harmless immunoassay.  相似文献

Functionalized polypyrrole film were prepared by incorporation of (Fe(CN)6)4− as doping anion, during the electropolymerization of pyrrole onto a carbon paste electrode (CPE) in aqueous solution by using potentiostatic method. The electrochemical behavior of the (Fe(CN)6)3−/(Fe(CN)6)4− redox couple in polypyrrole was studied by cyclic voltammetry and double step potential chronoamperometry methods. In this study, an obvious surface redox reaction was observed and dependence of this reaction on the solution pH was illustrated. The electrocatalytic ability of polypyrrole/ferrocyanide films modified carbon paste electrode (Ppy/FCNMCPEs) was demonstrated by oxidation of ascorbic acid. It has been found that under optimum condition (pH 7.00), the oxidation of ascorbic acid at the surface of such electrode occurs at a potential about 540 mV less positive than unmodified carbon paste electrode. The kinetic parameters such as electron transfer coefficient, α and catalytic reaction rate constant, kh′, were also determined by using various electrochemical approaches. The catalytic oxidation peak current showed a linear dependent on the ascorbic acid concentration and a linear calibration curve was obtained in the range of 4.5×10−4 to 9.62×10−3 M of ascorbic acid with a correlation coefficient of 0.9999. The detection limit (2σ) was determined as 5.82×10−5 M.  相似文献

The simultaneous measurement of microgram per liter concentration levels of indium(III), thallium(I) and zinc(II) at the antimony film carbon paste electrode (SbF-CPE) is demonstrated. The antimony film was deposited in situ on a carbon paste substrate electrode and employed in chronopotentiometric stripping mode in deoxygenated solutions of 0.01 M hydrochloric acid (pH 2). The chronopotentiometric stripping performance of the SbF-CPE was studied and compared with constant current chronopotentiometric stripping and anodic stripping voltammetric operation. In comparison with its bismuth and mercury counterparts, the SbF-CPE exhibited advantageous electroanalytical performance; namely, at the bismuth film electrode, the measurement of zinc(II) was practically impossible due to hydrogen evolution, whereas the mercury film electrode exhibited a poorly developed signal for thallium(I). The SbF-CPE revealed favorable calculated LoDs (3σ) of 1.4 μg L−1 for thallium(I) and 2.4 μg L−1 for indium(III) along with good linear response in the examined concentration range from 10 to 100 μg L−1 with correlations coefficients (R2) of 0.992 for thallium(I) and 0.994 for indium(III) associated with a 120 s deposition time. The chronopotentiometric stripping performance of the SbF-CPE was characterized also by satisfactory reproducibility of 1.62% for indium(III), 3.96% for thallium(I) and 2.11% for zinc(II) (c = 40 μg L−1, n = 11).  相似文献

Three-dimension (3D) belt-like polyaniline (PAN) network has been prepared via electrochemical polymerization of aniline on p-phenylenediamine (PDA) functionalized glassy carbon electrode (GCE) using a three-step electrochemical deposition procedure. PDA was covalently binded on GCE via the formation of carbon-nitrogen bond between amine cation radical and the aromatic moiety of GCE surface using electrochemical oxidation procedure. X-ray photo-electron spectroscopy (XPS) and cyclic voltammetry have been performed to characterize the attachment of PDA on GCE. The images of scanning electron microscope (SEM) show that the 3D belt-like PAN network is uniform. The width and thickness of the PAN belt varies in the range of 1.5-5.5 μm and 0.1-0.8 μm, respectively. The distance between the belt-contacts ranges from 2.5 to 15 μm. The 3D belt-like PAN network modified GCE (PAN-PDA/GCE) exhibits an improved electro-activity of PAN at an extended pH up to 7.0. The PAN-PDA/GCE not only immobilizes but also leads to a direct electrochemical behavior of cytochrome c (Cyt c). The immobilized Cyt c maintains its activity, showing a surface-controlled electrode process with the electron-transfer rate constant (ks) of 14.8 s−1 and electron-transfer coefficient (α) of 0.48, and could be used for the electrocatalytic reduction of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2).  相似文献

A CuGeO3 nanowire modified glassy carbon electrode was fabricated and characterized by scanning electron microscopy. The results of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy reveal that electron transfer through nanowire film is facile compared with that of bare glassy carbon electrode. The modified electrode exhibited a novel electrocatalytic behavior to the electrochemical reactions of l-cysteine in neutral solution, which was not reported previously. Two pairs of semi-reversible electrochemical peaks were observed and assigned to the processes of oxidation/reduction and adsorption/desorption of cysteine at the modified electrode, respectively. The electrochemical response of cysteine is poor in alkaline condition and is enhanced greatly in acidic solution, suggesting that hydrogen ions participate in the electrochemical oxidation process of cysteine. The intensities of two anodic peaks varied linearly with the concentration of cysteine in the range of 1 × 10−6 to 1 × 10−3 mol L−1, which make it possible to sensitive detection of cysteine with the CuGeO3 nanowire modified electrode. Furthermore, the modified electrode exhibited good reproducibility and stability.  相似文献

An electrochemical biosensor was constructed based on the immobilization of myoglobin (Mb) in a composite film of Nafion and hydrophobic ionic liquid 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate (BMIMPF6) for a modified carbon paste electrode (CPE). Direct electrochemistry of Mb in the Nafion-BMIMPF6/CPE was achieved, confirmed by the appearance of a pair of well-defined redox peaks. The results indicate that Nafion-BMIMPF6 composite film provided a suitable microenvironment to realize direct electron transfer between Mb and the electrode. The cathodic and anodic peak potentials were located at −0.351 V and −0.263 V (vs. SCE), with the apparent formal potential (Ep) of −0.307 V, which was characteristic of Mb Fe(III)/Fe(II) redox couples. The electrochemical behavior of Mb in the composite film was a surface-controlled quasi-reversible electrode process with one electron transfer and one proton transportation when the scan rate was smaller than 200 mV/s. Mb-modified electrode showed excellent electrocatalytic activity towards the reduction of trichloroacetic acid (TCA) in a linear concentration range from 2.0 × 10−4 mol/L to 1.1 × 10−2 mol/L and with a detection limit of 1.6 × 10−5 mol/L (3σ). The proposed method would be valuable for the construction of a third-generation biosensor with cheap reagents and a simple procedure.  相似文献

The electrochemistry of bisoprolol fumarate (BF) has been investigated by differential pulse voltammetry at a single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE). The prepared electrode showed an excellent electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of BF leading to a marked improvement in sensitivity as compared to bare glassy carbon electrode where electrochemical activity for the analyte cannot be observed. The SWNTs-modified GCE exhibited a sharp anodic peak at a potential of ∼950 mV for the oxidation of BF. Under optimum conditions linear calibration curve was obtained over the BF concentration range 0.01-0.1 mM in 0.5 M phosphate buffer solution (pH 7.2) with a correlation coefficient of 0.9789 and detection limit of 8.27 × 10−7 M. The modified electrode has been applied for the drug determination in human urine with no prior extraction and in commercial tablets. The proposed method has also been validated.  相似文献

The antimony film carbon paste electrode (SbF-CPE) was prepared in situ on the carbon paste substrate electrode as a “mercury-free” electrochemical sensor. Its aptitude for measuring some selected trace heavy metals has been demonstrated in combination with square-wave anodic stripping voltammetry in non-deaerated model solutions of 0.01 M hydrochloric acid with pH 2. Some important operational parameters, such as deposition potential, deposition time, and concentration of antimony ions were optimized, and the electroanalytical performance of the SbF-CPE was critically compared with both bismuth film carbon paste electrode (BiF-CPE) and mercury film carbon paste electrode (MF-CPE) using Cd(II) and Pb(II) as test metal ions. In comparison with BiF-CPE and MF-CPE, the SbF-CPE exhibited superior electroanalytical performance in more acidic medium (pH 2) associated with favorably low hydrogen evolution, improved stripping response for Cd(II), and moreover, stripping signals corresponding to Cd(II) and Pb(II) at the SbF-CPE were slightly narrower than those observed at bismuth and mercury counterparts. In addition, the comparison with antimony film electrode prepared at the glassy carbon substrate electrode displayed higher stripping current response recorded at the SbF-CPE. The newly developed sensor revealed highly linear behavior in the examined concentration range from 5 to 50 μg L−1, with limits of detection (3σ) of 0.8 μg L−1 for Cd(II), and 0.2 μg L−1 for Pb(II) in connection with 120 s deposition step, offering good reproducibility of ±3.8% for Cd(II), and ±1.2% for Pb(II) (30 μg L−1, n = 10). Preliminary experiments disclosed that SbF-CPE and MF-CPE exhibit comparable performance for measuring trace concentration levels of Zn(II) in acidic medium with pH 2, whereas its detection with BiF-CPE was practically impossible. Finally, the practical applicability of SbF-CPE was demonstrated via measuring Cd(II) and Pb(II) in a real water sample.  相似文献
