Using stereo images with ephemeris data from the Korea Multi‐Purpose Satellite‐1 electro‐optical camera (KOMPSAT‐1 EOC), we performed geometric modeling for three‐dimensional (3‐D) positioning and evaluated its accuracy. In the geometric modeling procedures, we used ephemeris data included in the image header file to calculate the orbital parameters, sensor attitudes, and satellite position. An inconsistency between the time information of the ephemeris data and that of the center of the image frame was found, which caused a significant offset in satellite position. This time inconsistency was successfully adjusted. We modeled the actual satellite positions of the left and right images using only two ground control points and then achieved 3‐D positioning using the KOMPSAT‐1 EOC stereo images. The results show that the positioning accuracy was about 12‐17 m root mean square error (RMSE) when 6.6 m resolution EOC stereo images were used along with the ephemeris data and only two ground control points (GCPs). If more accurate ephemeris data are provided in the near future, then a more accurate 3‐D positioning will also be realized using only the EOC stereo images with ephemeris data and without the need for any GCPs.  相似文献

Acoustic metasurfaces that can manipulate and control sound waves at 2D subwavelength scales open new avenues to unusual applications, such as asymmetric transmission, super‐resolution imaging, and particle manipulation. However, the long‐standing goals of pushing frontier metamaterials research into real practice are still severely constrained by cumbersome configuration, large acoustic loss, and rigid structure of the existing metamaterials. An ultrathin metasurface (10–300 µm in thickness, up to ≈λ/650, λ the wavelength) that is capable of imparting sound wave with a nontrivial phase shift with high transmittance (>80%) in the range of 5–30 kHz is fabricated here. The metasurface is comprised of a porous network of soft polymer fiber/rigid beads that are physically equivalent to crosslinked spring‐mass resonators. Moreover, the traditional paper‐cutting art to carve the ultrathin metasurface into hollow‐out patterns is incorporated, resulting in a variety of remarkable functions, including acoustic vortex, focusing, and super‐resolution. The hollow‐out patterning approach innovates the traditional one‐step metadevice fabrication process into two separated steps: 1) fabrication of ultrathin metasurfaces; 2) hollow‐out patterning of metasurfaces. The strategy opens an avenue to mass production of acoustic metadevices, shedding light on the applications of the metamaterials in acoustic cloaking, acoustic positioning, and particle manipulation.  相似文献

A new class‐based histogram equalization method is proposed for robust speech recognition. The proposed method aims at not only compensating the acoustic mismatch between training and test environments, but also at reducing the discrepancy between the phonetic distributions of training and test speech data. The algorithm utilizes multiple class‐specific reference and test cumulative distribution functions, classifies the noisy test features into their corresponding classes, and equalizes the features by using their corresponding class‐specific reference and test distributions. Experiments on the Aurora 2 database proved the effectiveness of the proposed method by reducing relative errors by 18.74%, 17.52%, and 23.45% over the conventional histogram equalization method and by 59.43%, 66.00%, and 50.50% over mel‐cepstral‐based features for test sets A, B, and C, respectively.  相似文献

An autonomous valet parking (AVP) system is designed to locate a vacant parking space and park the vehicle in which it resides on behalf of the driver, once the driver has left the vehicle. In addition, the AVP is able to direct the vehicle to a location desired by the driver when requested. In this paper, for an AVP system, we introduce technology to recognize a parking space using image sensors. The proposed technology is mainly divided into three parts. First, spatial analysis is carried out using a height map that is based on dense motion stereo. Second, modelling of road markings is conducted using a probability map with a new salient‐line feature extractor. Finally, parking space recognition is based on a Bayesian classifier. The experimental results show an execution time of up to 10 ms and a recognition rate of over 99%. Also, the performance and properties of the proposed technology were evaluated with a variety of data. Our algorithms, which are part of the proposed technology, are expected to apply to various research areas regarding autonomous vehicles, such as map generation, road marking recognition, localization, and environment recognition.  相似文献

We propose a novel HMI UI/UX for an in‐vehicle infotainment system. Our proposed HMI UI comprises multimodal interfaces that allow a driver to safely and intuitively manipulate an infotainment system while driving. Our analysis of a touchscreen interface–based HMI UI/UX reveals that a driver's use of such an interface while driving can cause the driver to be seriously distracted. Our proposed HMI UI/UX is a novel manipulation mechanism for a vehicle infotainment service. It consists of several interfaces that incorporate a variety of modalities, such as speech recognition, a manipulating device, and hand gesture recognition. In addition, we provide an HMI UI framework designed to be manipulated using a simple method based on four directions and one selection motion. Extensive quantitative and qualitative in‐vehicle experiments demonstrate that the proposed HMI UI/UX is an efficient mechanism through which to manipulate an infotainment system while driving.  相似文献
