主要考虑使用者或对等(peer)进入系统要求服务的先后顺序来构建应用层群播,以支持在对等网络(Peer-to-Peer Network)上进行多媒体串流服务。虽然先前也有类似研究,然而却未能真正考虑在真实网络上每个对等皆拥有不同网络带宽的事实,而本文的研究则是考虑对等的带宽及其带宽分配问题,并提出有效的方法来合成带宽,使得要求服务的对等得以平顺地连续播放影片。为验证所提研究方法的效能,进行一系列在各种环境下的仿真分析,而结果则充分显示所提方法能有效地降低网络带宽的需求以及服务器的负载。  相似文献

为了避免多媒体多播组播单频网(MBSFN)区域内部和区域之间的干扰,进一步提高频谱效率,该文提出一种改进的基于噪声调节时滞噪声混沌神经网络(NHNCNN)的动态信道分配方法。首先,根据MBSFN区域的特殊拓扑结构,重新定义了4种电磁兼容限制函数,在此基础上精心构建了免干扰的NHNCNN能量函数。其次对NHNCNN的稳态判定进程加以改进以提高系统的收敛速度。特别地,采用类二分法联合NHNCNN去搜索最小信道分配总数。仿真结果表明,利用富足的NHNCNN时滞、噪声和混沌神经动力,所提算法能有效地搜索到合理解,并最终找到全局最优解,提高了频谱效率。与现有方法相比,所提算法能够实现更好的收敛速度和合理解率。  相似文献

该文提出了一种基于服务质量(QoS)保证的次优广播/组播OFDM系统资源分配算法。算法在最优分配原则的基础上采用不同广播/组播业务目标速率作为约束条件,并以业务组中最差接收用户传输速率作为搜索目标,使得业务组中全部用户达到QoS要求,算法的公平性及有效性得到提高;同时采用时频格作为分配算法中的基本资源单位,以降低分配算法的复杂度。仿真结果表明,改进分配策略的系统吞吐量性能接近最优广播/组播分配算法,提高了广播/组播系统资源分配的公平性。  相似文献

提出了一种适用于卫星IP广播网络的带宽分配策略。与现有的带宽分配策略相比,该策略采用的保证带宽分配和动态带宽分配相结合的方法,可以最大限度地利用系统的剩余带宽,提高了系统的带宽利用率。这种带宽分配策略是通过令牌桶算法实现的,实现起来比较简单,并可以和基于业务类别的服务质量保证机制结合起来使用。通过OPNET建模仿真,结果表明这种算法不但能对链路的总带宽进行预分配,还能对链路的剩余带宽实时地进行动态分配,实现了基于用户的服务质量的保证。  相似文献

研究表明VBR视频流量具有较强的长时相关性和突发性,该文利用高阶自回归过程预测其流量,并进行概率分布转换,同时提出了一种新的动态带宽分配算法--滞回算法,与Chiruvolu(1998)提出的门限算法,及Iraqi(1999)提出的基于GOP场景检测的带宽分配方案相比,对缓存尺寸的需求、信元丢失率等性能有明显提高。仿真表明,该算法能够以较低的开销(带宽重分配次数百分比2%)同时兼顾了信元丢失率和带宽利用率,而且只有在缓存队长超过迂回门限时才触发带宽重分配过程,有利于在线实现。  相似文献

In this paper, we propose an optimal strategy for the transmission of scalable video over packet-based multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems. The scalable extension of H.264/AVC that provides a combined temporal, quality and spatial scalability is used. For given channel conditions, we develop a method for the estimation of the distortion of the received video and propose different error concealment schemes. We show the accuracy of our distortion estimation algorithm in comparison with simulated wireless video transmission with packet errors. In the proposed MIMO system, we employ orthogonal space-time block codes (O-STBC) that guarantee independent transmission of different symbols within the block code. In the proposed constrained bandwidth allocation framework, we use the estimated end-to-end decoder distortion to optimally select the application layer parameters, i.e., quantization parameter (QP) and group of pictures (GOP) size, and physical layer parameters, i.e., rate-compatible turbo (RCPT) code rate and symbol constellation. Results show the substantial performance gain by using different symbol constellations across the scalable layers as compared to a fixed constellation.   相似文献

在多业务网络环境中,面对不同的QoS需求,为不同业务分配合理的带宽资源是提高网络效率的有效保障。探讨了多业务网络环境下的带宽资源管理办法。重点研究了区分业务模型Diffserv中相关队列调度算法的基本原理,并对加权循环算法WRR进行改进。在基于周期测量发送队列的基础上对队列分配权值进行动态调整,使高优先级业务能够得到充分带宽资源保证的同时,对低优先级业务也有最低的传输带宽保证,从而满足多个业务的共同需求。通过NS2仿真和分析表明,经过改进的算法能对多业务环境下的数据传输提供区分服务,并且使得高优先级业务在丢包数和数据延迟方面与低优先级业务相比有明显减少。  相似文献

We propose a framework for efficient scalable video multicast over downlink orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) systems with multiple transmit antennas. In conventional video multicast systems, the achievable transmission rate is determined by the user with the worst channel condition, and the system saturates the capacity when the number of users increases. To accommodate the heterogeneous channel conditions and device capabilities of various users, scalable video coding (SVC) encodes video streams into base and enhancement layers. We exploit the advances in multi-antenna OFDM and the layered nature of SVC, and propose a framework for scalable video multicast which guarantees the base layer quality for all users while making best use of limited resource for the enhancement layer of users with good channel conditions. We show that the resource allocation that includes the transmit precoding, subcarrier allocation, and bit and power allocation is a very difficult optimization problem. A low-complexity suboptimal algorithm is proposed which is suitable for practical implementations. Simulation results are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed solution.  相似文献

本文针对无线网络中多用户传输视频时带宽分配问题,提出了一种基于微观经济学中供需平衡的带宽分配策略。该方法充分考虑了运营商的收益,在运营商和用户收益同时最大且供需平衡时,所求得的频谱价格即为运营商的出售价格。同时给出了针对不同用户等级有不同的用户优先级因子,据运营商提出的带宽价格,彼此相互博弈,最终使得自身效用最大。仿真结果表明:本文提出的博弈论方法存在纳什均衡解和均衡单价;用户等级因子能按照用户的不同等级来分配带宽;系统传输质量相比以往方法有所提高。   相似文献

In this paper, the effects of optical traffic-sharing on the performance of multicast video delivery in terms of the efficiency of bandwidth allocation and the fairness of link-sharing are discussed for the downstream direction of a time-division-multiplexed passive optical network (TDM-PON). We analyze the practical issues associated with multicast packet switching and transmission control in a TDM-PON and also propose a fair bandwidth allocation mechanism, called share-based proportional bandwidth allocation (S-PBA), to effectively support multicast services. In order to provide an optical network unit with a fair amount of link bandwidth and high throughput independent of traffic type, S-PBA arbitrates the amount of unicast timeslot by using effective multicast traffic share, which is determined based on multicast traffic load distribution and traffic-sharing density. Analytic and simulation results clearly validate the effectiveness of the proposed mechanism. This work is applicable to multicast video delivery or multicast traffic transmission in general, such as voice traffic, or a combination of both in the case of video conferencing, for example.  相似文献

Multicast video streaming over multirate wireless LANs imposes strong demands on video codecs and the underlying network. It is not sufficient that only the video codec or only the underlying protocols adapt to changes in the wireless link quality. Research efforts should be applied in both and in a synchronized way. Cross layer design is a new paradigm that addresses this challenge by optimizing communication network architectures across traditional layer boundaries. This paper presents cross-layer architecture for adaptive video multicast streaming over multirate wireless LANs where layer-specific information is passed in both directions, top-down and bottom-up. The authors jointly consider three layers of the protocol stack: the application, data link and physical layers. The authors analyze the performance of the proposed architecture and extensively evaluate it via simulations. The results show that the real-time video quality of the overall system can be greatly improved by cross-layer signaling.  相似文献

This paper proposes an efficient bandwidth utilization (EBU) algorithm that utilizes the unused bandwidth in dynamic bandwidth allocation (DBA) of a 10‐gigabit‐capable passive optical network (XGPON). In EBU, an available byte counter of a queue can be negative and the unused remainder of an available byte counter can be utilized by the other queues. In addition, EBU uses a novel polling scheme to collect the requests of queues as soon as possible. We show through analysis and simulations that EBU improves performance compared to that achieved with existing methods. In addition, we describe the hardware implementation of EBU. 作为一种新技术,EPON系统采取在下行信道使用广播方式而在上行信道使用时分多址(TDMA)方式,为用户提供共享传输介质的接入方式,因此就需要一种接入控制机制来为用户分配带宽。为了使EPON系统更好地支持QoS并且进一步提高带宽利用率,提出了一种新的固定周期轮询动态带宽分配算法,针对不同时延特性业务采用不同的授权分配算法。算法包括两部分:OLT时ONU的调度以及ONU内部不同优先级的队列之间的调度。最后讨论了包时延、系统吞吐量等仿真结果和性能分析。  相似文献

Video streaming is one of the most important applications that will make use of the high data rates offered by 4G networks. The current video transport techniques are already very advanced, and the more immediate problems lie in the joint optimization of video coding, AL-FEC, and PHY rate selection with the goal of enhancing the user perceived quality. In this work we provide an analysis of video broadcast streaming services for different combinations of layered coding and AL-FEC, using a realistic LTE PHY layer. Our simulation results show that the scalable content adaptation given by Scalable Video Coding (SVC) and the scheduling flexibility offered by the 3G-LTE MAC-layer provide a good match for enhanced video broadcast services for next generation cellular networks. Our proposed solution is compared to baseline algorithms and broadcast systems based on H.264/AVC streaming solutions. We emphasize the system quality improvement brought by our solution and discuss implications for a wide-scale practical deployment.  相似文献
