基于Chirp信号(线性调频信号)参数特点,分析了通信系统有关频率指标对其参数设计的约束,给出一个试验系统中Chirp信号参数设计实例。针对移动信道环境中电平起伏范围大、变化快的特点,首次提出一种不需要门限电平的chirp信号捕获同步方法,同时结合实际系统应用条件,研究了该方法的捕获性能。新方法捕获性能优越,对载波频差和定时误差估计准确,实现简单、可靠。  相似文献

提出了一种MIMO OFDM系统的定时恢复、频率同步和信道估计的联合算法。为了减少算法的复杂度,算法分两步完成:首先利用接收信号的自相关函数进行粗同步和信道估计,得到时延和频偏的粗估计,然后在粗估计基础上采用最大似然准则进行精确的同步和信道估计。仿真结果表明,该算法能够达到很好的效果,系统误码率接近已知信道响应时的情况。  相似文献

We propose a new robust and accurate synchronization procedure using a training sequence composed of chirp signals. We use a new integer frequency estimation algorithm and propose a new combination of a known fractional frequency offset estimation algorithm and timing synchronization algorithm. The training sequence is composed of one up and two down chirp symbols, also known as Newman phases. The integer frequency offset estimation algorithm uses the effect of timing and frequency offsets on the matched filter outputs of the chirp signals. Autocorrelation and reversed autocorrelation are used to acquire the timing instant and the fractional frequency offset. We present the complete timing and frequency synchronization procedure and study the output signals of the autocorrelation and reversed autocorrelation algorithms. Finally, we check the performance of the synchronization procedure via Monte Carlo simulation in several multipath channels. Our algorithms are accurate and more robust compared to previously published state-of-the art algorithms.   相似文献

在OFDM系统中,由于定时恢复、频率同步和信道估计之间存在密切联系,时延和频偏的估计误差会影响信道响应估计的准确性.本文采用IEEE802.11a无线局域网系统标准定义的训练序列进行联合估计.考虑系统性能优化和算法简化,将处理过程分成两步,首先得到粗的同步和信道响应估计,再利用得到的结果进行细同步和信道估计.实验结果显示信道估计精度高,系统误码率低.  相似文献

In this paper a joint timing and frequency synchronization method based on Fractional Fourier Transform (FrFT) is proposed for Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system. The combination of two chirp signals with opposite chirp rates are used as the training signal, the received training signal with timing and frequency offset is transformed by FrFT and the two peaks representing two chirps in FrFT domain are detected, then the position coordinates of the two peaks are precisely corrected and substituted into an equation group to calculate timing and frequency offset simultaneously. This method only needs one FrFT calculation to implement synchronization, the computational complexity is equal to that of FFT and less than that of correlation or maximum likelihood calculation of existing methods, and estimation range of frequency offset is large, greater than half the signal bandwidth, while the simulation results show that even at low SNR it can accurately estimate timing and frequency offset and the estimation error is less than that of existing methods.  相似文献

A joint carrier frequency synchronization and channel estimation scheme is proposed for orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) system. In the proposed scheme, carrier frequency synchronization and channel estimation are performed iteratively via the expectation-maximization (EM) algorithm using an OFDM preamble symbol. Moreover, we analytically investigate the effect of frequency offset error on the mean square error (MSE) performance of channel estimator. Simulation results present that the proposed scheme achieves almost ideal performance for both channel and frequency offset estimation.  相似文献

符号定时和载波频率偏差将严重影响OFDM系统的性能。基于具有重复结构的CAZAC序列,提出了一种仅利用一个CAZAC符号实现符号定时、整数倍频偏与小数倍频偏估计的同步算法。首先,所提算法在完成粗定时同步的同时得到整数倍频偏估计。然后根据整数倍频偏估计值对定时估计进行修正,最后完成小数倍频偏估计。分析与仿真结果表明,该算法相比于传统PARK算法,不仅完成了定时估计,而且得到了频偏估计;相对于经典SC算法,不但提高了传输效率,还显著改善了OFDM系统的定时与频偏估计性能;相比于利用CAZAC序列的同步算法,提高了算法的估计精度以及对多径信道的适应性。   相似文献

OFDM系统中的前导序列通常被设计用于接收端的定时同步和频偏估计,并不包含任何有效的比特信息。在前导序列中调制比特信息的设计方式一定程度上能够提升通信系统的频谱效率,并拓展了前导设计的功能。通过对CAZAC序列进行相位旋转和循环移位处理,提出了一种新的在前导序列设计中嵌入信息数据的方案。调制信息后的CAZAC序列仍具有恒包络特性和良好的周期自相关性,并设计了相应的时频同步算法和信息提取方法。相比已有方案,所提的前导设计方式在不影响定时同步和频偏估计性能的情况下,提高了信息承载能力。分析与仿真结果表明,对于相同长度的前导序列,所提方案在信息承载量和传输可靠性方面均优于现有方法,同时可以取得较好的定时同步与频偏估计性能。  相似文献

卫星移动通信中信号受到多普勒效应和阴影衰落效应的影响,导致信号变化快且很微弱,对系统接收性能影响很大.提出一种用于卫星移动通信终端下行链路时频同步新算法.根据本地扫频信号与接收Chirp信号相关后峰值频率变化规律来进行定时捕获,同时实现了频偏估计.通过仿真和分析,给出了不同信噪比环境下,利用Chirp信号进行定时捕获和频偏估计的性能.结果表明,在阴影衰落导致的信噪比很低和高速移动导致的多普勒频偏的情况下,定时捕获性能优越,频偏估计性能很好地满足系统要求.  相似文献

LTE(Long Term Evolution)系统中,作为小区搜索的第一步,符号定时算法需要具备很强的鲁棒性。为了进一步增强现有符号同步算法的抗频偏性能,提出了一种优化的符号同步算法。该算法一方面保持已有分段相关同步算法的优点,同时考虑结合预频偏处理来进行符号定时与粗频偏的联合估计,再将多个相关运算集做叠加处理。理论分析和仿真实验结果表明,在多径信道下,所提算法在完成符号定时和粗频偏估计的同时,大大提高了系统抗频偏性能。  相似文献

A computationally efficient initial synchronization technique is introduced in cellular orthogonal frequency division multiplexing downlink systems, which includes symbol timing estimation, frequency offset estimation, frame synchronization, and cell search. Novel preamble and pilot structures are proposed and a simple three-step synchronization scheme is developed based on a variety of practical conditions such as low computational complexity, time-varying frequency selective fading, limited preamble length, low peak-to-average-power ratio, and noncoherent synchronization with no channel estimation. The proposed three-step synchronization is sequentially described as (1) joint timing and frequency synchronization, (2) frame synchronization and preamble pattern identification (ID), and (3) pilot group ID. Simulation results show that the proposed technique nicely works even at low signal-to-interference-and-noise ratio regions.  相似文献

A robust symbol-timing and carrier-frequency synchronization scheme applicable to orthogonal frequency-division-multiplexing systems is presented. The proposed method is based on a training symbol specifically designed to have a steep rolloff timing metric. The proposed timing metric also provides a robust sync detection capability. Both time domain training and frequency domain (FD) training are investigated. For FD training, maintaining a low peak-to-average power ratio of the training symbol was taken into consideration. The channel estimation scheme based on the designed training symbol was also incorporated in the system in order to give both fine-timing and frequency-offset estimates. For fine frequency estimation, two approaches are presented. The first one is based on the suppression of the interference introduced in the frequency estimation process by the training symbol pattern in the context of multipath dispersive channels. The second one is based on the maximum likelihood principle and does not suffer from any interference. A new performance measure is introduced for timing estimation, which is based on the plot of signal to timing-error-induced average interference power ratio against the timing estimate shift. A simple approach for finding the optimal setting of the timing estimator is presented. Finally, the sync detection, timing estimation, frequency estimation, and bit-error-rate performance of the proposed method are presented in a multipath Rayleigh fading channel.  相似文献

Low complexity joint estimation of synchronization impairments and channel in a single-user MIMO–OFDM system is presented in this paper. Based on a system model that takes into account the effects of synchronization impairments such as carrier frequency offset, sampling frequency offset, and symbol timing error, and channel, a Maximum Likelihood (ML) algorithm for the joint estimation is proposed. To reduce the complexity of ML grid search, the number of received signal samples used for estimation need to be reduced. The conventional channel estimation techniques using Least-Squares (LS) or Maximum a posteriori (MAP) methods fail for the reduced sample under-determined system, which results in poor performance of the joint estimator. The proposed ML algorithm uses Compressed Sensing (CS) based channel estimation method in a sparse fading scenario, where the received samples used for estimation are less than that required for an LS or MAP based estimation. The performance of the estimation method is studied through numerical simulations, and it is observed that CS based joint estimator performs better than LS and MAP based joint estimator.  相似文献

The authors present an analysis of the effect of timing offset on channel estimation for comb-type pilot-aided orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. Residual timing offset does not negatively affect the channel estimation of the pilot subcarrier, but does corrupt the channel information obtained via interpolation. This paper provides the mean square error (MSE) channel estimation performance when a linear interpolation technique is used in a comb-type pilot-aided OFDM system. Analysis shows that the performance degradation of the channel estimator due to imperfect frame synchronization is dependent on the frequency correlation of the channels and the amount of timing offset  相似文献

OFDM对栽频偏差是很敏感的,因此不仅在同步的捕获阶段,而且在同步的跟踪阶段,精确的频偏估计是很重要的。文献[3]提出了一种简化的相干判决反馈的迭代算法来估计同步跟踪阶段的载频偏差,对于128个子载波、QPSK调制的OFDM系统,在多径衰落信道下,当频偏小于子载波间隔的15%时,频偏估计的标准方差小于1%,但是这个结果是在假设信道频率响应、定时偏差、载波相位等参数已知的条件下取得的,而当这些参数的估计存在误差时,由仿真结果可看出,频偏估计性能恶化了,因此,提出了采用差分判决反馈的频偏估计算法,虽然只能估计小于子载波间隔 8%的频偏,但差分判决反馈算法不需要知道信道的参数,由于在同步跟踪阶段,频偏一般都较小,因此采用差分判决反馈算法可以很好地估计出同步跟踪阶段的频率偏差。  相似文献

针对MIMO-OFDM系统对同步错误率和载波频偏特别敏感问题,本文提出了MIMO-OFDM系统训练序列构造及其同步方法.该同步方法设计的训练序列由两个结构不同的序列构成:第一个序列利用重复性构成,第二个序列利用反对称性构成,其构造训练序列中的β因子影响系统定时同步性能.在接收端,利用训练序列和本地数据信号进行互相关获取定时同步,在获取精确地定时同步后进行小数频偏估计和整数频偏估计,其整数频偏估计范围可达到1/4带宽.通过理论分析和仿真表明:本文提出的同步新方法比常规方法有更好的同步性能,并且降低了系统计算复杂度.  相似文献

This letter addresses training-signal-based combined timing and frequency synchronization and channel estimation for orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing systems. The proposed scheme consists of two stages. At the first stage, coarse timing and frequency-offset estimates are obtained. Based on these estimates, a (coarse) channel response estimate is obtained. The timing and frequency-offset estimates at the second stage are obtained by maximum-likelihood (ML) realization based on a sliding observation vector. Then ML channel estimation is performed. A means of complexity reduction by an adaptive scheme is also presented. The simulation results show that the proposed combined approach performs quite well, and circumvents the problem of mismatch among individual synchronization tasks.  相似文献
