提出了一种利用三维场仿真软件Ansoft HFSS模拟二极管的新方法,解决了常用的仿真软件无法模拟利用场的正交性来构成平衡结的一类空间混合集成电路的问题.利用该方法,可在场仿真软件中直接进行该类型电路的整体设计和仿真,提高了设计的效率和准确性.利用Ansoft HFSS中的阻抗边界代替二极管,将阻抗边界的值设定为二极管的阻抗值,进行其匹配电路的仿真设计.制作了一款U波段鳍线单平衡混频器,在40~60GHz频率范围内,混频器射频端口回波损耗的测试结果与仿真结果吻合良好,验证了该方法的可行性. 相似文献

An integrated planar antenna-mixer structure for use at millimeterwave frequencies is described. A simple but accurate theory of the slot-ring antenna is applied to several experimental devices. Mixer conversion loss of about 6.5 dB was obtained from an X-band model. Measured radiation patterns of structures designed for 65 GHz agree reasonably well with theory. 相似文献

本文介绍了一种U 波段鳍线单平衡混频器的设计过程并给出了测试结果。混频器使用M/A-COM 公司的肖特基势垒二极管MA4E2037,整个电路制作在一块厚度为0.127mm 的RT-Duroid 5880 软基片上。射频端口采用鳍线过渡,本振端口通过波导-微带探针过渡,中频通过SMA 接头输出。测试结果显示,鳍线悬置微带线结构的混频器在本振为42 GHz,

A novel configuration of a subharmonic mixer utilizing third local oscillation (LO) harmonic is presented. The mixer is capable of down-converting a Ka-Band radio frequency (RF) signal with the third harmonic of an X-band LO signal to produce a 2 GHz intermediate frequency signal. It is fabricated on a 4 mil substrate using a 0.15 mum GaAs PHEMT process. A novel quadrature hybrid is realized by using compact lumped elements, and it is beneficial for the reduction of chip size for an LO at a relatively low frequency in this topology. This is because it does not need any bulky via holes. Compared with published subharmonic mixers, it provides a more flexible requirement for an LO source at a relatively low frequency for an overall communication system design. The measured results show that the best conversion loss is about 13.2 dB at a RF frequency of 29 GHz as a 10.5 dBm 9 GHz LO signal is pumped. The chip area of the mixer is less than 3.14 mm2. 相似文献

设计开发了场致发射显示器件专用模拟软件,该软件以MATLAB为平台,采用以有限元法为基础的FEMLAB软件对场致发射区域内的电场分布进行计算,自行编制了FED模拟软件从MATLAB中取出FEMLAB输出的数据,分析阴极表面场致电子发射状态,计算电子在空间的轨迹和在阳极的落点,将计算结果输出至MATLAB,以图形方式绘出电子轨迹和着屏光点.在计算电子轨迹时采用了动态内存分配方法和可变索引数据结构,提高了程序的通用性和移植性.该软件界面友好、使用方便,可对任意结构的FED进行计算,可在器件研制之前对FED的特性进行研究. 相似文献

A broadband singly balanced distributed mixer is developed using a 0.15-mum GaAs pHEMT foundry process. It is the first time that the charge-injection approach is applied to a distributed mixer. With the advantage of charge-injection, the mixer achieves a high conversion gain with low dc consumption. The fabricated distributed mixer with an integrated broadband transformer has a compact chip size of 2mmtimes1mm. Measurement results show that the mixer achieves a conversion gain of better than 3.5dB over a broadband frequency from 4-41GHz, with a relatively low dc power consumption of 100mW 相似文献

In this paper, we report about the development, fabrication, and characterization of a balanced waveguide hot electron bolometer (HEB) receiver for the Atacama Pathfinder EXperiment telescope covering the frequency band of 1.25-1.39 THz. The receiver uses a quadrature balanced scheme and two HEB mixers, fabricated from 4- to 5-nm-thick NbN film deposited on crystalline quartz substrate with an MgO buffer layer in between. We employed a novel micromachining method to produce all-metal waveguide parts at submicrometer accuracy (the main-mode waveguide dimensions are 90 times 180 mum ). We present details on the mixer design and measurement results, including receiver noise performance, stability and ldquofirst-lightrdquo at the telescope site. The receiver yields a double-sideband noise temperature averaged over the RF band below 1200 K, and outstanding stability with a spectroscopic Allan time more than 200 s. 相似文献

随着信号频率以及芯片集成密度的持续增长,三维集成系统内部面临严重的耦合噪声问题。针对三维集成技术中广泛使用的硅通孔(TSV)和水平重布线层(RDL)构成的三维互连结构,提出了一种基于分段传输线(STL)的三维互连结构优化设计方案。通过将三维互连结构传输线按STL模式划分为数个传输线片段生成复数反射波,并运用基因算法(GA)筛选片段特征信息,从而优化反射波叠加效果,实现对传输过程中产生的信号损失进行补偿。仿真结果表明,该方法可以有效改善三维互连结构中由于耦合噪声造成的信号反射问题,提升系统传输性能。 相似文献

An accurate and simple closed-form formula, for backward-wave start-oscillation condition for a millimeter-wave helix traveling-wave tube amplifier was developed, using an artificial neural network (ANN) algorithm. The analysis considers the effects of circuit loss and also the variation of electron beam diameter corresponding to beam filling. The formula is simple and amenable to easy computation, even using a scientific calculator, and without resorting to exhaustive numerical iterative search followed in conventional analyses and, at the same time, without sacrificing the accuracy in results. The formula was validated against published results, and excellent accuracy was observed. The analysis has been further used for inferring some physical interpretations on the effects of beam-filling factor and circuit loss on the start-oscillation condition of a typical millimeter-wave helix traveling-wave tube. 相似文献
