SA299钢冷脆行为的研究

某锅炉厂生产的锅炉汽包,在冬季制造过程中发生破裂,汽包材料为 SA299钢,对断口的初步分析发现为脆性解理断口,据此认为是冷脆破坏。本文依据冷脆特征温度 Tc 的概念对 SA299钢的冷脆行为进行了细致的分析。     

SA型透明尼龙的热性能

首次以直链脂肪族二元胺与对苯二甲酸和间苯二甲酸等为单体,采用多元共缩聚方法制备了半芳香透明尼龙（SATPA）,通过DSC、TG和DTG对其热性能进行了表征,并对其耐热性、热稳定性以及热分解机理进行了分析讨论.实验结果表明,SA型透明尼龙的玻璃化转变温度为102 ℃左右,具有良好的耐热性能;其起始平衡热降解温度为427 ℃,热稳定性优异;它的热降解反应为一步反应,热降解机理初步推断为扩散控制机理。     

Fatigue crack initiation at notches in SA 333 piping steel

Abstract

In this paper are reported two recent investigations into crack initiation at notch roots using techniques developed for remote monitoring of crack growth in high–temperature water environments. In the first, a notched compact–type specimen of a carbon steel, SA 333 Gr. 6, was monitored for crack initiation (defined as a 0·076 mm crack at the notch root) in a variety of water chemistries and testing conditions. The mechanical conditions at the notch root have been analysed using the Neuber–notch method, enabling a direct comparison to be made with the strain–controlled fatigue data curves used for a smooth specimen in the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section III. In the second investigation a different method was considered for monitoring crack initiation. A modification of the electrical–potential technique, called the reversing dc electrical potential method, was used to obtain quantitative information on the initiation and early growth of small surface cracks in notched bars of a high–strength alloy at elevated temperature. Results obtained by the method are presented and discussed.

Effectiveness of English local plan SA/SEAs

Fourteen years since the implementation of the European SEA Directive, the effectiveness of the English system of Local Plan sustainability appraisals/strategic environmental assessments (SA/SEAs) is analysed, based on 15 case studies, five interviews, and questionnaires of 11 planners. Substantively, SA/SEA leads to fine-tuning of plan policy wording and a more robust choice of development sites, but to only limited wider influence on the plan. Normatively, there seems to be a direct conflict between the requirement that Local Plans must provide enough housing for ‘objectively assessed need’, and environmental protection. From a pluralist perspective SA/SEA reports are very long, and although the statutory consultees often comment on them, the public do so only infrequently. It is in the transactive dimension that the largest changes have taken place: both consultants and planners have had to do more with less. This does not yet seem to have negatively affected the other effectiveness dimensions, but may not be sustainable over time.     

Hybrid GA and SA dynamic set-up planning optimization

Set-up planning is used to determine the set-up of a workpiece with a certain orientation and fixturing on a worktable, as well as the number and sequence of set-ups and operations performed in each set-up. This paper presents a concurrent constraint planning methodology and a hybrid genetic algorithm (GA) and simulated annealing (SA) approach for set-up planning, and re-set-up planning in a dynamic workshop environment. The proposed approach and optimization methodology analyses the precedence relationships among features to generate a precedence relationship matrix (PRM). Based on the PRM and inquiry results from a dynamic workshop resource database, the hybrid GA and SA approach, which adopts the feature-based representation, optimizes the set-up plan using six cost indices. The PRM acts as the main constraints for the set-up planning optimization. Case studies show that the hybrid GA and SA approach is able to generate optimal results as well as carry out re-set-up planning on the occurrence of workshop resource changes.
