Upgrading of Electrical Equipment on Machines for Manufacture of Chemical Fibres and Yarns

The present review leads to the following conclusions: upgrading electrical equipment on machines used in CIS chemical fibre plants can significantly increase their efficiency and decrease the cost level per production unit; creating new machines with old electrical equipment is unacceptable; conditions that allow development of our own electrical equipment corresponding to the world level and having no foreign analogs for many positions prevailed in Russia in 2003; groups from a number of departments at MEI, companies, and plants at MEI, and nearby plants (basically in the aviation industry) had experience in interacting and methods of organization of complex research on the development and delivery of different types of motors and mechanotron devices for spinning and twisting machines; static frequency converters totally manufactured at domestic plants; microprocessor control systems that satisfy the requirements of the technology; the political will of the country's government is required for supporting domestic manufacturers, in particular, a state order for development of samples of new machines with their manufacture based on the price of pilot-scale production at the expense of the consumers. Coordination of research, marketing, determination of the most promising technologies and machines could be taken on by FORMASh MPFG with affiliated technological institutes interacting with machine and electrical equipment manufacturers.

Testing of Unique Fuel Reprocessing Equipment Designs

Abstract

Unique equipment designs have resulted from the application of revised criticality safety criteria to nuclear fuel reprocessing at the Idaho Chemical Processing Plant (ICPP) located at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory (INEL). The unique designs resulting include slab and annular tanks, slab decanters, and parallel heat exchange tube bundles on a thermosyphon evaporator. These designs were tested in full-sized mockups to verify proof-of-concept, operating capacities, and operating scenarios. These unique equipment designs have been used in the design of a new fuel reprocessing facility under construction at the INEL.

可视化密炼机的微型测试装备及其试验方案

在充分研究转子构型及其混炼机理的基础上,提出一种转子研发的新途径。利用自有的3D打印研发平台设计可视化密炼机的微型转子测试装备,提出一套从2D,3D设计到3D高效、高精度打印转子,再到微型转子测试的转子研发、测试方案。可视化密炼机对转子混炼的模拟表征与实际混炼试验结果一致,证明了可视化密炼机在测试转子混合特性中的作用。     

电动机转速测量与控制实验装置设计

本文设计了一种由单片机AT 89C 51作为处理器的高精度多功能电机转速测量装置。该测量装置是通过单片机对由霍尔集成元件采集的脉冲信号进行计数,然后对所得数据进行内部程序计算处理后,得到电动机的转速,并送LED显示的。同时,它还具有超速报警功能,能实现高低转速值的测量。

基于红外热像技术的过程设备无损检测

红外热像检测技术具有检测范围大、直观、快速等优势,在过程设备的泄漏和绝热结构完整性检测、焊接缺陷检测等领域得到广泛应用。为取得良好的检测效果,探讨了热激励源的选择、表面冷冲击、表面涂层及热像图拍摄等方面应注意的事项和改进措施。为弥补红外热像法在埋藏缺陷检测方面存在的不足,提出了基于电脉冲热激励作用下的红外热像检测方法,通过对板状和管状试件裂纹性埋藏缺陷的测试试验,表明该方法测得的缺陷轮廓清晰、直观,红外热像图的视觉效果好。
