New package innovations are needed to address the next generation system requirements of the automotive market. Enhanced system functionality from semiconductor components and overall cost reduction demands drive multichip package solutions. The use of semiconductor devices to switch, control and monitor high current loads will integrate logic and power devices on a common substrate with requirements for effective power dissipation, current carrying capability and fine width conductor features for the control device and interconnections. To achieve these goals Motorola's Advanced Interconnection Systems Laboratory, Munich, has developed a new package concept, a multichip mechatronics power package, utilizing flip chip die attach technology and electroplated eutectic SnPb solder bumps. The traditional approach for the development of manufacturing systems considers the constituent parts of the system, i.e., mechanical, electronic, and software, to be developed independently and then integrated to form the final system. This approach is being criticized as inappropriate for the complexity and the dynamics of today's systems. This paper proposes an architecture that promotes model integration not only for implementation space artifacts but also in artifacts of the early analysis and design phases of the development process. The proposed architecture, which promotes reuse and significantly decreases development and validation time, is at the heart of a new paradigm called model-integrated mechatronics (MIM). MIM applies domain-specific modeling languages for the concurrent engineering of mechanical, electronic and software components of mechatronic systems. It simplifies the integrated development process of manufacturing systems by using as basic construct the mechatronic component. The MIM paradigm was utilized to define "Archimedes," a system platform that supports the engineer through a methodology, a framework, and a set of tools to automate the development process of agile mechatronic manufacturing systems.  相似文献

This paper defines mechatronics, explains mechatronics philosophy, and describes characteristics of mechatronics products and systems. It reviews aspects of education and training for mechatronics and compares the two different approaches to engineering education: generalist engineering versus specialist engineering. It also examines the Japanese approach to product development strategies and mechatronics education and training. It also gives an overview of mechatronics education in higher education institutions across the world with a specific reference to a typical mechatronics engineering degree program. Motion control is now recognized as a key technology in mechatronics. The robustness of motion control will be represented as a function of stiffness and a basis for practical realization. Target of motion is parameterized by control stiffness which could be variable according to the task reference. However, the system robustness of motion always requires very high stiffness in the controller. The paper shows that control of acceleration realizes specified motion simultaneously with keeping the robustness very high. The acceleration is a bridge to connect such robustness and variable stiffness. For practical applications, a technique to estimate disturbance is introduced to make motion controller to be an acceleration controller. Motion control of flexible structure and identification of mechanical parameters are also described.  相似文献

对建筑电气系统进行节能优化,可增强楼宇的自动化水平,确保不同机电设备的稳定运行,实现楼宇的节能降耗。因此,对楼宇设备电气系统节能控制器进行优化设计,其由被控对象、检测部件、调控模块以及执行模块组成。节能控制器通过检测部件监测楼宇设备电气系统的被控参数,采用调控模块分析监测值和设定值的差值,并向执行模块发出节能控制命令,对被控参数进行调控,确保其符合节能要求。分析节能控制器对楼宇设备电气系统中的变配电系统、照明系统以及电梯系统,进行节能管理的具体过程。给出节能控制器软件的主程序以及终端服务子程序。实验结果表明,采用所设计节能控制器下的大厦电气系统实现22%的节能效果,并且具有较高的节能经济效应。  相似文献

Following an NSF grant in 1997 to develop undergraduate mechatronics laboratories and courses, two senior-level elective courses were introduced in the mechanical engineering curriculum at Kettering University. The student popularity of the subject, and relevance to graduating mechanical engineers soon made it clear that mechatronics education belonged to the core curriculum at Kettering. To integrate mechatronics into the mechanical engineering core, two existing sophomore-level courses were redesigned to include significant educational experiences in mechatronics design and prototype fabrication. Introduction to Design (ME-203) previously featured a 6-week student project in which teams of students would design and build an electromechanical device to accomplish functionality defined in design constraints provided by the professor. However, these devices were not mechatronic in nature. In the revised course, the objective is to evolve these designs to utilize embedded microcontrollers, sensors and actuators and achieve much more sophisticated functionality. To accommodate the anticipated increase in time required to complete such projects, the existing sophomore course Instrumentation (ME-204) was revised to incorporate learning objectives from the senior-level mechatronics elective courses. Further, 6 weeks of laboratory time from Instrumentation could then be dedicated to the aforementioned mechatronic projects. As such, both ME-203 and ME-204 have been integrated to form an eight-credit “Introduction to Mechatronics Design” course. This paper details the scope of this course, the specialized equipment developed for it and student project outcomes.  相似文献

This paper presents the work to address the problem of student participation in a class. The work is particularly applied to a design-centric mechatronics-related classes, using web, smartphone, and mechatronics-related technology. The specific issues to be targeted on are the irregular attendance and the low participation of students during classes using on-the-spot questions and answers on design-centric subjects to improve and adaptively redirect the orientation of targeted students as well as the whole class. The approach and system have been developed with Android smartphone-based application and Apache Tomcat-based server. 根据老旧设备运行时间统计的需求,本文设计了基于STM32控制器的设备运行时间自动统计装置,配合电源模块、电压信号采集模块、TFT LCD显示模块、SD卡存储模块、时钟日历模块,对设备起动时间、结束时间进行采集与显示,并通过串行外设接口将其存储到SD卡中。经过安装测试,该装置运行稳定,运行时间记录准确,能够满足设备运行时间自动统计功能的要求。  相似文献

Dynamics and control of nonlinear mechanical systems and advanced mechatronic systems can be investigated more vividly and efficiently by using corresponding nonlinear position-dependent circuits that describe Lagrange's equations of motions and interactions with objects or/and task environments. Such expressions of Lagrange's equations via nonlinear circuits are indebted to lumped-parameter discretization of mechanical systems as a set of rigid bodies through equations of motion due to Newton's second law. This observation is quite analogous to validity of electric circuits that can be derived as lumped parameter versions of Maxwell's equations of electromagnetic waves. Couplings of nonlinear mechanical circuits with electrical circuits through actuator dynamics are also discussed. In such electromechanical circuits the passivity should be a generalization of impedance concept in order to cope with general nonlinear position-dependent circuits and play a crucial role in their related motion control problems. In particular, it is shown that the passivity as an input-output property gives rise to a necessary and sufficient characterization of H/sub /spl infin//-tuning for disturbance attenuation of robotic systems, which can give another system theoretic interpretation of the energy conservation law.  相似文献

Intelligence and flexibility are essential in a mechatronic product. To achieve the primary function of an integrated system, it is essential that the functional interaction and spatial integration between mechanical, electronic, control, and information technologies be accomplished in a synergistic way. Sensors are as important in the mechatronic system as the senses are to the human being. While the subject of sensors and the need of sensors are certainly important, it is also both pervasive and diffuse. This paper cannot in any sense be exhaustive of such a wide range of discussion, and will only attempt to discuss sensors related to mechatronics. In this paper, the role of sensors in the field of mechatronics has been identified, followed by the characterization of different sensing technologies. The discussion of microsensor technologies, advantage of microsensors, and problems with microsensors together with multisensor fusion applications is presented. An example of a capacitive micro proximity sensor using micromachining technology developed by the Center of Robotics and Intelligent Machines at North Carolina State University is also described.  相似文献

This paper discusses the systematization effort undertaken to generate an equipment specification of an extremely detailed and new nature for DCMEs in accordance with the INTELSAT specification IESS-501. The main areas of importance addressed are additional to what has already been defined within the IESS-501. 在对电气设备进行绝缘电阻、电压、电流等参数的测试工作过程中,常常会碰到电池无电、电量不足,造成无法测试及所测数据不正确。特别是在测试工作出发前,对测试仪器仪表进行检查时,电量显示是满的,到了施工现场使用时,电池电量瞬间降低,发现电池显示的电量是虚拟的。但目前无法在测试工作前,对测试仪器电池的好坏进行测试,工作造成很大的麻烦。因此,本文研制对检测仪器电池电量测试的装置,不仅能对测试仪器的电池的实际电量进行测试,而且能根据一些测试数据来判断电池是否正常。  相似文献

In mechatronics systems design, designers need to deal with complexity derived from the integration of subsystems with various engineering disciplines. In particular, while developing product architecture for the next generation systematically, the present generation systems in the market should be reviewed in terms of their functional overview as well as module structure. This paper proposes a method for developing product architecture by a comparative analysis of the functional overview as well as physical decomposition of existing mechatronics systems. The method employs function–behaviour–state modelling and a computer-aided design (CAD) system for system architecting (SA-CAD) as a modelling scheme and modelling environment, respectively. The paper describes the application of the proposed method in the development of product architecture of autonomous vacuum cleaning robots.  相似文献
