The European Community Directorate General for Research in Science and Technology has recently initiated a new four year framework programme which includes a substantial activity on non-nuclear energy known as JOULE-Joint Opportunities for Unconventional and Long term Energy in Europe. This programme includes a major activity in the area of Energy from Biomass with a financial allocation for the current two year programme of about US $12 million. The topics covered include biomass production, conversion to fuels by biochemical and thermochemical processes, utilisation of these fuels in a variety of applications and.studies of integrated systems for implementation This paper describes the current European Community Energy from Biomass R&D programme, the pattern of activities and their objectives, and future plans for development and expansion into related areas. These include pulp for paper, fertilisers and chemicals as well as liquid and gaseous fuels from bio-chemical and thermo-chemical conversion technologies. 相似文献

分析了甲烷质量流率、回热器有效度、空燃比、几何尺寸等因素对热光伏系统中燃烧-辐射器性能的影响.计算结果表明:采用回热器可显著提高辐射表面的温度和化学能-辐射能转化效率;空气与甲烷的空燃比和甲烷质量流率分别以20.64:1.00和0.988kg/h为最佳.在此基础上讨论了几何尺寸对燃烧-辐射器的影响,发现在内、外管内径分别为27.2mm和38.5mm,内、外管壁厚分别为7.0mm和3.5mm的情况下燃烧-辐射器的性能最佳,辐射表面平均温度、表面辐射功率密度和化学能-辐射能转化效率分别为1523.8K、11.99W/cm2和73.7%. 相似文献

A new three-dimensional (3-D) field model for enclosure fire growth has been developed by CSIRO and UNSW, Australia. The model includes the coupling of gas-phase combustion and the pyrolysis of wood. It has been used to predict the flame spread and fire development in a room witha rear timber wall and a propane burner. A parametric study of the effects of the moisture content of the timber on the flame spread and development of the fire in a room is described. The computed results compare satisfactorily with measurements from a fire test carefully conducted in a room. 相似文献

采用真空蒸发的方法制备出玻璃衬底ITO/TPD/Alq/A1结构的有机发光器件(OLED)。改变有机层的厚度, 比较不同厚度下OLED的各项性能的差异,包括工作电压,发光效率。实验发现无论增大空穴传输层TPD的厚度 抑或是发光层Alq的厚度都会增大器件的工作电压。发光层Alq厚度的增大还能引起发光效率的增大,而TPD厚 度的增大对发光效率的影响则是复杂的。对于上述现象用隧穿理论以及直带模型进行了解释。对制备高亮度, 高效率低损耗的OLED具有指导意义。 相似文献
