Summary de electrical conductivity at surface of -irradiated polyaniline (PAn) has been studied. EPR spectroscopic results indicate that the variation of spin concentration is consistent with the increase of de. Electrical conductivity (de) versus temperature (T) characteristics of unirradiated and irradiated PAn were performed, which demonstrate that the unirradiated curve can fit to lndeT1, while the irradiated curve fit to lndeT1/4.  相似文献

Summary 3,5-Dimethoxy-4-(2-vinyloxyethoxy)-4-nitrostilbene 2 and 3,5-dimethoxy-4-(2-vinyloxyethoxy)-2,4-dinitrostilbene 5 were prepared by the reactions of 2-iodoethyl vinyl ether with 3,5-dimethoxy-4-hydroxy-4-dinitrostilbene 1 and 3,5-dimethoxy-4-hydroxy-2,4-dinitrostilbene 4, respectively. Monomers 2 and 5 were polymerized with cationic initiators to obtain polymers with the NLO-phores 3,5-dimethoxy-4-oxy-4-nitrostilbene and 3,5-dimethoxy-4-oxy-2,4-nitrostilbene in the side chain. The resulting polymer 3 and 6 were soluble in DMSO and DMF. The inherent viscosities of polymers were in the range of 0.28–0.33 dL/g in DMSO. Polymers 3 and 6 showed good thermal stabilities in their TGA thermograms, and the Tg values from DSC thermograms were in the range of 81–87°C.  相似文献

The effects of the solvating power of pure diluents on the porous structure and swelling properties of styrene-divinylbenzene (Sty-DVB) copolymers were investigated. The Hildebrand solubility parameter () and the three-dimensional solubility parameter (t) were used to predict the diluent-polymer affinity. In a general way, t was a better predictor than . It was found that the accessibility of polymer surfaces depends not only on the fixed pore volume but also on the elasticity of internuclear chains.  相似文献

The electrodeposition of -nickel hydroxide is promoted by the simultaneous chemical corrosion of the electrode by an acidic nitrate bath. Chemical corrosion results in the formation of a poorly ordered layered phase which is structurally similar to -nickel hydroxide and provides nucleation sites for the deposition of the latter. Therefore under conditions which enhance corrosion rates such as low current density (<1.3 mA cm–2), high temperature (60 C), high nickel nitrate concentration ( 1M) and the resultant low pH (1.7), -nickel hydroxide electrodeposition is observed, while -nickel hydroxide forms under other conditions. Further, -nickel hydroxide deposition is more facile on an iron electrode compared to nickel or platinum.  相似文献

Direct and non-intrusive observations of crystallization and melting behavior of and polymorphs in bulk syndiotactic polystyrene were made by means of temperature-programmed x-ray diffraction. Results indicated that the highest sustainable temperature identifiable via wide-angle x-ray diffraction using stepwise annealing at increasingly higher temperatures (T a) for the perfected (with the initial crystallization temperature T c = 245 °C, followed by annealing at stepwise increased T a above 250 °C) phase may be at least 286 °C. In a similar manner, the highest sustainable temperature of the perfected (with T c = 265 °C, followed by annealing at stepwise increased T a above 275 °C) phase may be at least 280 °C. These observations suggest complete melting should occur only above the respective sustainable temperatures. It thus follows that equilibrium melting of the and the phases should occur at temperatures higher than 286 and 280 °C, respectively. Perfection of the less ordered form into the better ordered form within the family is observed to occur in the vicinity of 270 °C; no evidence of transformation between and phases is identified.  相似文献

For a series of catalysts containing 1 wt. % Pt and SnPt ratios ranging from ca. 1 to 8, the only crystalline alloy phase detected by XRD was SnPt (11). The XRD intensity of lines for the SnPt (11) alloy phase increase with increasing SnPt ratios, indicating the presence of unalloyed Pt in the samples containing low tin loadings.  相似文献

Summary Copolymerizations of (S)-3,3-dimethyl-2,2-bis[2-(2-vinyloxyethoxy)ethoxy]-1, 1-binaphthyl (S-MVN) or 1,3:4,6-di-O-benzylidene-2,5-bis-O-[2-(2-vinyloxyethoxy)ethyl]-d-mannitol (D-BVM) with isobutyl vinyl ether (IBVE) were carried out with BF3·OEt2 in CH2Cl2 at 0 °C. The copolymers obtained were soluble in CHCl3 and THF, and consited of (S)-binaphtho-21-crown-6 or d-manno-21-crown-6 units and IBVE, i.e., poly(S-DVN-co-IBVE) and poly(D-BVM-co-IBVE). The sex pheromone components of the two sibling species of the dingy cutworm that occur on the prairies of western Canada were identified in abdomen-tip extracts from calling female moths. Three monounsaturated acetates, (Z)-7-dodecenyl acetate, (Z)-9-tetradecenyl acetate, and (Z)-11-hexadecenyl acetate, are common to both species in ratios of 100133 for species A and 0.30.5100 for species B. The most effective synthetic blends for the attraction of male moths in the field consisted of these three components in ratios of 1010 at 8.8g/lure for species A and 112000 at 500g/lure for species B. The addition of Z5-12Ac to either blend reduced the catches and the addition of Z7-12OH orZ11-16OH to the three-component blend reduced the catches of species B males. The species are morphologically indistinguishable, but the identity of the males attracted to the synthetic blends could be confirmed by their antennal responses to a test blend of the three components using a GC-EAD system. Both synthetic attractant blends are competitive with females and will be useful for studying the distribution, biology, and relative abundances of the two species.Contribution no. 3879005 of the Lethbridge Research Station.  相似文献

The application of an intermittent potential yields the maximum rate of electrolysis under non-d.c., mass transfer controlled conditions. A numerical solution was obtained to calculate the average current density under the intermittent potential condition. -Pinene and ethanol were released in the approximate proportions 1:0.1, 1:0.9 and 1:9 (at 21°C). Ethanol, released in the range of 3–279 mg/day, generally synergized the attraction of T. piniperda to -pinene (30 mg/day at 21°C), although attraction to the mixtures varied within and between years. The low release rate of ethanol together with -pinene attracted a significantly higher number of beetles than -pinene alone in 1995, April of 1996, and in 1997. Lures with the medium release rate of ethanol were the most attractive only in March of 1996. The high dose of ethanol significantly synergized attraction to -pinene in 1995 and 1997. The variable attraction of T. pinipeda to ethanol and -pinene at various release rates and proportions may be due to the temperature dependent nature of beetle antennal sensitivity. At ambient temperatures of 10–13°C. T. piniperda was most attracted to the lures with -pinene and high release rates of ethanol, at 14–17°C it was most attracted to those with medium release rates of ethanol, and at 18°C and higher it was most attraacted to those with low release rates of ethanol.  相似文献

Conclusions During the sintering process of beta-alumina obtained using the method of plasmochemical synthesis, the structural transformation occurs and it is accompanied by the separation of the excess Na2O and the formation of an intergranular meltlike phase that is saturated with sodium and is characterized by high dielectric properties.The quantity of the meltlike phase and the magnitude of the /( + ) ratio determine the degree of stabilization (stability) and the final resistivity of the material and depend on the initial chemical composition and the heating rate maintained during the sintering process.It was shown that when the duration of residence of the material in the hot zone of the furnace is increased or when the specimens sintered maintaining high heating rates are subjected to additional heat treatment, one observes the occurrance of the reverse structural transformation that is characterized by an increase of the phase ratio /( + ) 1, a reduction in the quantity of the meltlike phase right up to its complete disappearance, and a decrease of the electrical resistivity of the material.In the materials having a large excess quantity of sodium oxide, the process of crystallization of the intergranular NaAlO2 phase occurs simultaneously with the second phase transformation.The best ceramic and electrophysical parameters were obtained when sintering the material contained 7.9% Na2O.Translated from Ogneupory, No. 3, pp. 13–18, March, 1990.  相似文献

Summary Critical solution point and chain dimension were measured for branched polystyrene(BPS) in solution as a function of molecular weight(M) and compared with those for linear polystyrene(LPS). The critical concentration c of BPS was quite different from that of LPS at a fixed M, but the same at a fixed overlap-concentration *, i.e., plots of c vs. * fall on a single straight line for both BPS and LPS (gfc *). Reduced critical temperature c defined by gtc=(–Tc)/ [Tc: critical temperature, : the -temperature] was related to c as c c 2 for BPS, whereas c c for LPS.  相似文献

Summary The line splitting v in 2H-NMR spectra of deuterated benzene in stretched crosslinked SBR depended linearly on the classical stretch term 2 – 1/ for samples with and without carbon black filling. The ratio LS = v/(2 – 1/) was measured in dependence on the solvent fraction . The extrapolated value L of this ratio at =0 gave a linear dependence on the inverse molecular mass 1/Mc of inter-crosslink chains. This was expected according to a simple model of chain dynamics and offers a further NMR-method for Mc-determination even in filled networks. However, the slope of the L(1/Mc)-line increases with an addition of carbon black which indicates a higher molecular order. Three reasons for this could be discussed. Mullite formation process has been studied in stoichiometric mullite (3Al2O3·2SiO2) diphasic gel containing large boehmite (1 m) and small silica (10 nm) particles. It has been found that initial mullitization did not take place inside the silica phase (cristobalite), but took place in the defect -alumina phase. -alumina was stabilized by silica when the temperature was below 1350°C. At temperatures above 1350°C, mullite crystallized directly. It was suggested that silica diffused into the pores (<1.8 nm) of -alumina and prevented the collapse of -alumina pore structure. On the other hand, when silica was not present, the pore structure of -alumina collapsed and -alumina crystallized at 1100°C. Porous mullite ceramics were obtained by using special diphasic gels containing large boehmite and small silica particles.  相似文献

A field study was conducted to investigate the effects of three fertilizer placement methods and 11 fertilizer formulations on plant survival, economics of replanting, yield, and fruit size of two rabbiteye blueberry (Vaccinium ashei Reade) cultivars Tifblue and Woodard. Fertilizer rates were either mixed with the soil under plants (before planting), sidedressed, or half-rate was placed under plants with the other half sidedressed. Fertilizers at planting caused a total of 34% Woodard and 12% Tifblue plants to die as compared to 6% for Woodard and none for Tifblue when no fertilizer was applied. Fertilizer formulas 2-1-1 and 5-10-10 oxide ratios placed under Woodard plants caused 100% mortality whereas Tifblue fertilized with oxide ratios 2-2-2 and 5-10-10 under plants reached the maximum 50% mortality. Splitting fertilizer placement under the side of the plants resulted in less Woodard plant mortality (30%) than placing all the fertilizer under plants (54%). However, plant mortality for the side/under group was not different than sidedressing all fertilizer (23%). A planted hectare in this experiment consisted of 1852 Tifblue and 926 Woodard plants, providing one Woodard plant to pollinate two Tifblue plants. Based on the results obtained, the 5-10-10 fertilizer placed under plants would be expected to cause half the Tifblue (926 plants) and all the Woodard (926 plants) to be replanted. Plant costs alone was estimated to be $2315 with additional replanting costs of $93 for Tifblue and much higher for Woodard. Sidedressing 5-10-10 fertilizer eight weeks after planting would have prevented plant mortality. Placement of various fertilizers under Woodard or Tifblue plants resulted in a significant increase in plant mortality as compared to side placement of fertilizers. Yield loss due to plant mortality increased linearly with the N level of the fertilizers (ranging from 0 to 2) for both cultivars. Woodard fruit size was not affected by fertilizer placement but placing fertilizers under Tifblue plants produced smaller yields with larger fruit than sidedressed plants. Blueberry plants in a virgin acidic soil may experience no reduction in yield if fertilization is completely eliminated.  相似文献

A cotton wool plug, used as the source for pheromone release, was placed in closed 1-quart Mason jars, either at the mouth or at the rear of the jar. Air sampling of the two components of the sex pheromone (total 2.2 mg at the source) of the almond moth (Ephestia cautella) female showed that the saturation period near the source in still air was 20–22 hr and that far from the source was 40–50 hr, reaching a level of less than 1 ng/ml air. The ratio between the components (Z,E)-9,12-tetradecadienyl acetate, designated D, and (Z)-9-tetradecenyl acetate designated M, in the air was close to the original ratio for both sampling sites, albeit somewhat richer in the more volatile (Z)-9-tetradecenyl acetate (source 77.023.0 DM, air 73.0– 74.327.0–25.7; source 80.119.9, air 77.622.4; source 25.174.9, air 23.976. 1 DM). The total amount of pheromone per milliliter of air was two to three times larger near the source than far from it at the early stages of the evaporation and saturation process. When the amount of pheromone applied to the source was tripled (7 mg), the amount far from the source was almost tripled, or the saturation time was cut by factor of two to three.  相似文献

Summary By using -butyrolactone (-BL) as the reaction media, highly active catalysts--light rare earth chloride-epoxidy---BL-for the solution polymerization of -caprolactone, have been obtained for the first time. With these catalyst, PCL with molecular weight as his as 40x104(Mv) can be prepared at 60°C for 1.5 hr. The amount of epoxide in catalyst solution, catalyst aging temperature and time affect the catalyst activity significantly. The mechanism study shows that in -BL, the weakening of Ln-Cl bonds by the donation of coordinated -BL with Ln3+ and the homogenous effect promote the reaction between light rare earth chloride and epoxide. The produced rare earth alkoxide initiates CL polymerization via a coordination-insertion mechanism with Acyl-oxygen bond cleavage.  相似文献

The AC conductivity of a percolation model with local energetical disorder for porous Silicon in three dimensions, (), is studied by Monte Carlo simulations. The model includes both diffusion and recombination processes and () is obtained by a Fourier transform of the mean-square displacement of the carriers, where hopping diffusion of a single type of carrier (either an electron or an exciton) and two types of carriers (an electron and a hole) are considered. It is found that at low temperatures, the behavior of () depends sensitively on the type of carrier considered.  相似文献

Summary Asymmetrically disubstituted poly(2-isopropoxy-5-methoxy-1,4-phenylene-vinylene), PIMPV, was prepared in thin films via organic-soluble precursor polymer method. These polymer films could be easily stretched up to 7 times, and the drawn films of the PIMPV could be doped with FeCl3 and I2 to give conductivities of 26.9 and 11.3 Scm-1, respectively. The third-order nonlinear optical susceptibility of the polymer was determined using third harmonic generation(THG) method at 1907 nm, fundamental wavelength.
