This paper deals with the problem of switching between an open-loop estimator and a close-loop estimator for compensating transmission error and packet dropout of networked control systems. Switching impulse is considered in order to reduce the error between theory and application, a sufficient condition for exponential stabilization of networked control systems under a given switching rule is presented by multiple Lyapunov-like functions. These results are presented for both continuous-time and discrete-time domains. Controllers are designed by means of linear matrix inequalities. Sim- ulation results show the feasibility and efficiency of the proposed method.  相似文献

We derive conditions for quadratic stabilizability of linear networked control systems by dynamic output feedback and communication protocols. These conditions are used to develop a simultaneous design of controllers and protocols in terms of matrix inequalities. The obtained protocols do not require knowledge of controller and plant states but only of the discrepancies between current and the most recently transmitted values of nodes’ signals, and are implementable on controller area networks. We demonstrate on a batch reactor example that our design guarantees quadratic stability with a significantly smaller network throughput than previously available designs.  相似文献

研究一类基于状态观测器的网络控制系统鲁棒稳定性和鲁棒控制器设计问题.考虑传感器时钟驱动、控制器和执行器事件驱动以及小于等于一个采样周期的不确定时延,建立了基于状态观测器的网络控制系统增广模型.利用线性矩阵不等式方法推导出该系统鲁棒稳定的条件,进一步给出了鲁棒控制律和状态观测器设计方法.数值仿真算例证明了分析方法和结果的有效性.  相似文献

This article studies the exponential stabilization problem for discrete-time switched linear systems based on a control-Lyapunov function approach. It is proved that a switched linear system is exponentially stabilizable if and only if there exists a piecewise quadratic control-Lyapunov function. Such a converse control-Lyapunov function theorem justifies many of the earlier synthesis methods that have adopted piecewise quadratic Lyapunov functions for convenience or heuristic reasons. In addition, it is also proved that if a switched linear system is exponentially stabilizable, then it must be stabilizable by a stationary suboptimal policy of a related switched linear-quadratic regulator (LQR) problem. Motivated by some recent results of the switched LQR problem, an efficient algorithm is proposed, which is guaranteed to yield a control-Lyapunov function and a stabilizing policy whenever the system is exponentially stabilizable.  相似文献

研究具有时变采样周期网络控制系统的执行器失效的完整性问题.假设系统任意两个连续采样间隔具有上界,利用输入时延法,将时变采样周期网络控制系统等价转化为连续时变时延网络控制系统.在此基础上,基于时延条件,应用Lyapunov稳定性理论和线性矩阵不等式(LMIs)方法证明了鲁棒容错控制律的存在条件,设计了鲁棒容错控制器,并给出了系统完整性条件下的最大允许时延的估计方法.仿真结果验证了所提方法的可行性和有效性.  相似文献

考虑存在时延和数据包丢失的情况,研究了奇异被控对象的网络控制系统建模与指数稳定性问题.当时延不大于一个采样周期且数据包丢失率一定时,将正则、无脉冲的奇异网络控制系统建模为数据包丢失率约束的异步动态切换系统,给出了状态反馈和动态输出反馈的统一数学模型;推导出数据包丢失率约束的系统指数稳定的充分条件,给出了使系统指数稳定的最大允许数据包丢失率,仿真结果表明了该方法的有效性和可行性.  相似文献

Compensation for control packet dropout in networked control systems   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
With the integration of communication networks and distributed control in modern manufacturing and process industries, networked control systems (NCSs) are becoming increasingly important due to its simplicity, scalability, flexibility, and cost effectiveness. However, there are still significant technical barriers that limit the applications of NCS technologies. Two challenges are network-induced time delay and data packet dropout. Applying a real-time queuing protocol that we developed recently, we are able to limit the sum of the network-induced communication delay and the control computation delay within a control period. This one-period delay is further guaranteed by well designed compensation for control packet dropout. Then, this paper proposes to compensate for the control packet dropout at the actuator using past control signals. Three model-free strategies for control packet dropout compensation, namely, PD (proportional plus derivative), PD2 (proportional plus up to the second-order derivative), and PD3 (proportional plus up to the third-order derivative) are developed. They are suitable for a large number of NCSs without the need to tune the compensator parameters. The proposed dropout compensation schemes are demonstrated through numerical examples.  相似文献

The problem of robust stabilization for a class of uncertain networked control systems (NCSs) with nonlinearities satisfying a given sector condition is investigated in this paper. By introducing a new model of NCSs with parameter uncertainty, network-induced delay, nonlinearity and data packet dropout in the transmission, a strict linear matrix inequality (LMI) criterion is proposed for robust stabilization of the uncertain nonlinear NCSs based on the Lyapunov stability theory. The maximum allowable transfer interval (MATI) can be derived by solving the feasibility problem of the corresponding LMI. Some numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed algorithm.  相似文献

研究了对网络控制系统如何设计H∞状态反馈控制器.这些网络控制系统中存在不确定的网络时延和数据包丢失.当网络时延和连续丢包有界时,可以将系统建模为具有时变输入时滞的系统,利用Lyapunov-Krasovskii泛函,推导出网络控制系统渐近稳定的充分条件.将这些充分条件转化为带等式约束的LMIs,并对他们进行迭代求解,就可以构造H∞控制器.与现有结果相比,在推导稳定性条件时本文对交叉项采取了更紧的界定,并且在设计控制器时无需知道调节参数.因此,本文提出的方法具有更低的保守性.仿真结果说明了本方法的正确性和有效性.  相似文献

A general dynamic model is proposed for describing a large class of nonholonomic systems including extended chained systems, extended power systems, underactuated surface vessel systems etc. By introducing an assistant state variable and a time-varying state transformation based on the concept of minimal dilation degree, this class of nonholonomic systems is transformed into linear time-varying control systems, and the asymptotic exponential stability is thus achieved by using a smooth time-varying feedback control law. The existence and uniqueness of the minimal dilation degree for the discussed systems are also proved under certain conditions.  相似文献

This paper addresses the random time-delays and packet losses issues of networked control systems (NCS) within the framework of jump linear systems with mode-dependent time-delays. Decentralized robust control problem is investigated for a class of large scale systems with time varying delays. The considered systems have mismatches in time delay functions. A state coordinate transformation is first employed to change the original system into a cascade system. Then the virtual linear state feedback controller is developed to stabilize the first subsystem. Based on the virtual controller, a memoryless state feedback controller is constructed for the second subsystem. By choosing new Lyapunov Krasovskii functional, we show that the designed decentralized continuous adaptive controller makes the solutions of the closed-loop system exponentially convergent to a ball, which can be rendered arbitrary small by adjusting design parameters. Finally, a numerical example is given to show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed design techniques.  相似文献

A switched system approach is proposed to model networked control systems (NCSs) with communication constraints. This enables us to apply the rich theory of switched systems to analyzing such NCSs. Sufficient conditions are presented on the stabilization of NCSs. Stabilizing state/output feedback controllers can be constructed by using the feasible solutions of some linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The merit of our proposed approach is that the behavior of the NCSs can be studied by considering switched system without augmenting the system. We design an observer-protocol pair to asymptotically reconstruct the states of a linear time-invariant (LTI) plant under communication constraints induced by the network. We parameterize a class of observers and protocols, and for a given network transmission interval, we derive sufficient conditions in terms of matrix inequalities for the existence of an observer-protocol pair in the considered class that asymptotically reconstructs the plant states.  相似文献

In networked control systems (NCSs) achievable performance is limited by the communication links employed to transmit signals in the loop. In the present work, we characterise LTI coding systems which optimise performance for various NCS architectures. We study NCSs where the communication link is situated between plant output and controller, and NCSs where the communication link is located between controller and actuator. Furthermore, we present a novel NCS architecture, which is based upon the Youla parameterisation. We show that, which of these architectures gives best performance depends, inter alia, upon characteristics of a related non-networked design, plant disturbances and reference signal. A key aspect of our work, resides in the utilisation of fixed signal-to-noise ratio channel models which give rise to parsimonious designs, where channel utilisation is kept low. The results are verified with simulations utilising bit-rate limited channels.  相似文献
