永利自建厂到1928年,十年来在全厂团结一致的努力和社会各界的支持下和卜内门展开了激烈的拼搏,三战三捷的结果,使卜内门在世界碱业的竞争中第一次尝到了失败的滋味,卜内门昔日藐视正在孕育中的永利,而今对已经成长起来的永利,不得不以礼相待了。1928年在卜内门一再要求下永利和卜内门重开谈判,会上卜内门老调重弹,要求与永利进行技术经济合作,范旭东一如既往,宣布永利既定政策不变,决不和外商在资金与技术上合作,至多在营业范围内可以通融,为了避免卜内门的纠缠,永利以攻为守,提出在永利与三井在日本的代销合同到期后,可由卜内门代永利在日本销售红三角纯碱的建议。当时永利估计卜内门存碱很多,又久霸日本碱业市场,不可能接受永利的建议。

中国问题的根子是农业,农业与农民、农村构成了“三农”的永恒话题。自2004年以来,中央连续5年为“三农”发布了一号文件。刚刚结束的十七届三中全会,通过的《中共中央关于推进农村改革发展若干重大问题的决定》,可谓是共和国成立后的第三次土改,核心是土地使用权和经营权的重大变革。“三农”问题已成为中央决策的头等大事。腐植酸开发应用最先进入农业,土壤是农作物的载体,土壤中的有机物质就是土壤的命根子。其中,腐植酸是土壤有机物质中最具活力的要素。众所周知,腐植酸产业,特别是腐植酸涉农企业与“三农”攸息相关,也是服务“三农”的有生力量。我们一定要高举中央一号文件大旗,盘活国家有关扶持“三农”政策,把创建《腐植酸新型农用工业园》作为全面构建支农服务体系的奋斗目标。     

A Study of Commercial Periclases

Nine commercial periclases were studied chemically, physically, and petrographically. One of the periclases was made from magnesite, one from brucite, three from sea water, and four from brine. The magnesia content ranged from 88 to 98%, and the bulk density ranged from 3.01 to 3.28 gm. per cc. Wide variations were found in the mineral placement of the silicates within each periclase. The variation of silicate content and magnesia-crystal size within well-sintered periclase has indicated that rotary kilns can be used to produce periclase of higher purity than the current product.     

A Comparison of the Commercial and Technical Differences between the Dyeing and Finishing Industries of the United Kingdom and Europe

The author presents a personal comparison of the commercial and technical differences between the dyeing and finishing industries of the U. K. and Europe. Aspects covered are: the structure of the commission–dyeing industry; the attitude of converters and the control they exercise; associations formed by dyers; versatility and specialisation; modernisation programmes covering plant and equipment; costs and charges; plant utilisation; supervisory staff. The main conclusion is that the profit margins of dyers and printers throughout Europe, but particularly in the U. K., are too low, and their return on capital expenditure is poor.     

Tug of War between Survival and Death: Exploring ATM Function in Cancer

Ataxia-telangiectasia mutated (ATM) kinase is a one of the main guardian of genome stability and plays a central role in the DNA damage response (DDR). The deregulation of these pathways is strongly linked to cancer initiation and progression as well as to the development of therapeutic approaches. These observations, along with reports that identify ATM loss of function as an event that may promote tumor initiation and progression, point to ATM as a bona fide tumor suppressor. The identification of ATM as a positive modulator of several signalling networks that sustain tumorigenesis, including oxidative stress, hypoxia, receptor tyrosine kinase and AKT serine-threonine kinase activation, raise the question of whether ATM function in cancer may be more complex. This review aims to give a complete overview on the work of several labs that links ATM to the control of the balance between cell survival, proliferation and death in cancer.     

生物制剂在SBR中的工业化试验

在处理炼油废水的SBR装置中加入一种生物促进剂和毒性缓冲剂,在投加量均为7mg/L的条件下,与未投加生物促进剂时相比,出水COD的去除率增加约50%,挥发酚由20mg/L降至4.9mg/L,污泥浓度由3.9g/L提高到4.9g/L,污泥絮体增大,结构紧密。     

商业洗衣市场及展望

我国洗衣业历史悠久,也有象上海正章、北京普兰德这样的颇具品牌认知度的企业.但有很长一段时期,洗涤和服务都停留在传统的肥皂加烧碱的洗涤水平上,对织物养护、洁净度、卫生等要求不严.改革开放以来,随着旅游业的发展,外资和合资宾馆不断兴建,不仅带来了外方的饭店管理经验,也引进了国外的先进洗涤设备、洗涤剂,以及相关的洗涤技术和服务.与宾馆饭店洗衣相类似的专业洗衣厂及医院、列车卧具、学校和大型企业的洗衣部门,也向宾馆洗衣业学习,采用较先进的洗涤技术和服务.     

催化裂解工艺技术及其工业应用

催化裂解（DCC）是从催化裂化衍生的生产丙烯的新技术。石蜡基原料的丙烯质量产率可以达到23％,而中间基原料的丙烯产率约为17％。催化裂解汽油再循环到催化裂解装置可以增产3．5％的丙烯,但汽油产率有所下降。75－150℃催化裂解汽油的BTX体积含量达到57．6％,其中甲苯和二甲苯分别为21．9％和30．3％。催化裂解催化剂是一个含改性五元环中孔沸石的固体酸催化剂,汽油一次产物在孔沸石内进行二次裂化转化为轻烯烃。已开发出一系列的催化裂解催化剂以适应不同目的需要,如最大量丙烯生产、最大量异构烯烃生产,最大原料掺渣油量等。自1990年以来国内外共有7套催化裂解工业装置正在运转,其中3套是由催化裂化装置改造成的,而另外4套包括TPI公司750kt/a工业装置是新建的。目前TPI公司的催化裂解装置正满负荷运转,加工掺40％常压渣油原料。尽管现在加工的原料比设计原料重,但丙烯产率仍可达到设计值。本文介绍一些典型工业装置的运转情况。

Commercial and potential utilization of lipoxygenase

The high specificity and activity of lipoxygenase (EC 1.13.1.13) have not been widely exploited in commercial applications. An analytical application of substrate specificity is exemplified by the Canadian Food and Drug Official Method FA 59 for determining unisomerized linoleic acid in hydrogenated fats. An attractive potential application of lipoxygenase is the lipoxygenase oxidation of linoleic acid for conversion of a renewable resource into a valuable chemical intermediate. Hydroxy-conjugated octadecadienoic acids (HCD) have been prepared by oxidation of a 10% soybean soapstock solution with an aqueous soy flour extract followed by reduction of the hydroperoxide. High yields and a 20-min reaction time are features of this procedure. These laboratory-scale experiments indicate that the processing cost to produce hydroxy-conjugated octadecadienoic acids can be estimated at 21 cents per lb. This cost does not include the cost of the soapstock. The combined hydroxy, conjugated diene, and fatty acid groups in HCD give it the potential of being a versatile chemical intermediate. HCD is readily converted to hydroxystearate or conjugated triene and can compete directly with tung oil acids or hydrogenated castor oil acids. Other reactions can be visualized based on functional group modification to yield products with potential application in the formulation of coatings, lubricants, emulsifiers, and plasticizers.
