A novel Brillouin-based distributed sensing technique is presented that can obtain the strain profile of the entire sensing fiber with a single optical pulse. Experimentally obtained spectra show that this comb excited pump signal is capable of strain and temperature measurement in a dynamic system. The results show the expected sinusoidal strain profile for a 12 s periodic strain cycle applied to the test fiber. The strain distribution for the entire fiber was obtained in 256 mus , thereby demonstrating for the first time, the potential to measure dynamic strains up to 3.9 kHz with 12 m resolution. Increased acquisition speed comes at the expense of achievable spatial resolution.  相似文献

A fiber Fabry–Perot (F-P) interferometer and a fiber Bragg grating (FBG) based pressure and temperature multiplexing sensor system is presented. This system is designed for high-temperature oil well down-hole permanent monitoring of pressure and temperature. Connecting a FBG temperature sensor and a F-P pressure sensor in series in the sensor head, the sensor system combines the advantages of simple structure of FBG for temperature sensing and high accuracy and low-temperature cross-sensitivity of F-P pressure sensor. Experimental results showed that the temperature measurement accuracy of 0.5$;^{circ}$C and the long-term drift of the air gap of the F-P pressure sensor at 300$;^{circ}$C is less than 0.1% within 300 h time span. This indicates that a long-term pressure measured accuracy of 0.03 MPa has been achieved in pressure gauge range of 0–30 MPa and in temperature variation range between 18 $;^{circ}$C to 300 $;^{circ}$C.   相似文献

A novel fiber-optic flow velocity sensor based on a twin-core fiber Michelson interferometer has been proposed and demonstrated. The sensor only is a segment of twin-core fiber acting as cylinder cantilever beam. The force exerted on the cylinder by the slow flow speeds of order mm/s of the fluid with unknown velocity bends the fiber, which corresponds to the shift of the phase of the twin-core in-fiber integrated Michelson interferometer.  相似文献

Methods of increasing the accuracy of measurements made with recirculation fiber-optic temperature sensors are considered. It is shown that such data-measuring systems, while possessing all the advantages of amplitude sensors (simplicity, reliability, cheapness, etc.), have high sensitivity and, as regards their metrological characteristics, at the present time can be as good as the most accurate interferometric-type phase fiber-optic sensors.  相似文献

The neural-network-based processing of extrinsic Fabry-Perot interferometric (EFPI) strain sensors was investigated for the special case of sinusoidal strain. The application area is modal or cyclic testing of structures in which the frequency response to periodic actuation must be demodulated. The nonlinear modulation characteristic of EFPI sensors produces well-defined harmonics of the actuation frequency. Relationships between peak strain and harmonic content were analyzed theoretically. A two-stage demodulator was implemented with a Fourier series neural network to separate the harmonic components of an EFPI signal and a backpropagation neural network to predict the peak-to-peak strain from the harmonics. The system performance was tested using theoretical and experimental data. The error for high-strain cases was less than about 10% if at least 12 harmonics were used. The frequency response of an instrumented cantilever beam provided the experimental data. The demodulator processing closely matched the actual strain levels  相似文献

The method and the required installations for fabricating tapered long-period fiber gratings can be simpler than that of standard fiber Bragg gratings, and the fabrication process is faster. To our knowledge, the tapered long-period fiber grating pressure sensor is presented here for the first time. In this paper, the fabrication method for tapered long-period fiber gratings, the sensing principle, the sensor structure, the measurement setup, and the preliminary results are presented and discussed. 本文提出了一种基于光纤布拉格光栅(FBG)温度解耦方法的光纤法珀(FP)压力传感器,该传感器采用低温共烧陶瓷(LTCC)技术实现批量化制作.通过在膜片式压力传感器的基础上集成光纤布拉格光栅(FBG),实现温度、压力双参数测量;提出温度解耦方法,对传感器进行温度补偿及压力测量结果的修正.实验结果表明,在20~300℃的温度范围内, FBG温度传感器的灵敏度为0.012 nm/℃,在160 kPa的压力范围内,压力测量灵敏度约为0.1μm/kPa, 3次重复实验的重复性误差和非线性误差分别约为5.6%和1.3%,温度系数为0.018μm/℃,压力灵敏度随温度变化为0.283 nm/(kPa·℃),同时,采用温度解耦方法,得到压力计算值与真实值最大偏差小于2.5 kPa.  相似文献

In this paper, a measurement system for the local mean velocity of pneumatically conveyed particles is proposed and developed. It mainly consists of electrostatic sensor arrays, signal conditioning circuits, and a digital signal processor (DSP)-based data acquisition and processing unit. Electrostatic sensor arrays are used to detect the charge on particles in its sensing zone and further make the local particle mean velocity measurement in conjunction with cross-correlation method. The sampling frequency is determined from theoretical analysis of the bandwidth of electrostatic signal and accuracy of correlation velocity calculation. Experiments are carried out on a belt conveyor and a gravity-fed particle rig to determine the optimized sampling number of the electrostatic signal through analyzing the measurement error of the transit time. The results showed that the more sampling numbers, the higher stability of measurement results. The repeatability of the measurement system is less than ±2.2% and the linearity is better than ±4.9% over the velocity range of 5.50–21.98 m/s. Experiments are also performed on a high-pressure dense-phase pneumatic conveying system of pulverized coal, indicating that the measurement system is capable of achieving local mean velocity measurement of pneumatically conveyed particles with the relative standard deviation less than 5.5%.  相似文献

根据有机物分子受激发荧光的基本原理,分析了荧光法检测农药的可行性.基于光纤传感技术、荧光分析技术提出了一种能够检测土壤中有机农药浓度的光纤式荧光测量系统.系统以脉冲氙灯为激发光源,以特制的光纤式锥形探头探测荧光,以小型平场光谱仪实现荧光分光,以高速数据采集模块实现荧光信号的采集转换.该系统一次曝光即可获得农药的荧光光谱.利用该系统实现了不同浓度的西维因在土壤中荧光光谱实验,考察了系统的工作曲线和最低检测限.实验结果表明,系统能够获取分辨率较高的荧光光谱;在0.005 mg/kg~0.1 mg/kg范围内荧光强度和浓度基本呈线性关系;系统的最低检出限(LOD)可达0.005 mg/kg,相对标准偏差(RSD)≤3%.该系统能够满足土壤中农药浓度检测的需要.  相似文献

磁电式速度传感器由于自身工作原理,其固有频率下限值受到结构和体积的限制.应用于振动测试时常需对其工作频带进行补偿扩展,以使其能检测固有频率以下的速度信号.本文针对磁电式速度传感器,建立了其动态数学模型,给出了一种基于函数链人工神经网络(FLANN)算法的动态补偿策略.分析对比了采用传感器输入输出设计的FLANN算法补偿器与采用零极点配置法进行动态补偿的效果.结果表明,采用FLANN算法设计的补偿器具有更小的补偿误差,且有效扩展了速度传感器的使用频带,很好地满足了工程上超低频振动测量的要求.  相似文献
