Load carrying behaviour of thrust rings. The design of thrust rings for the axial anchorage of penstocks may be carried out on the assumption of different pressure distributions between the ring and the surrounding concrete. This results in different design methods. In this paper the load carrying behaviour of thrust rings is presented on the basis of FEM‐results. Finally a concept for the design of thrust rings with a more realistic pressure distribution between the ring and the concrete is proposed. 相似文献
