本文叙述了克虏伯钢公司氧气顶吹转炉炼钢车间钢包精炼炉能量转换效率的研究情况。用于研究的是装料常为120吨和300吨的钢包精炼炉。除了确定钢包精炼炉加热的热效率外,重点研究各个炉次的能量损失。在300吨钢包精炼炉中加热钢液,由于热参数的变化,热效率波动在30~40%之间。在120吨钢包精炼炉加热,其热效率平均计算较300吨精炼炉低10%。热损失有各种原因,如精炼炉冷却、废气带走和通过钢包内衬的热量损失。从而改善热效率的方法是显而易见的。研究所得的结果,可增进对钢包精炼炉的能量转换的了解,并检验将用于钢包精炼在线温度控制的数学模型。 相似文献

This article discusses the advantages of medium-frequency induction furnaces and refining units based on them that can be used to refine both ferrous and nonferrous metals. Due to automation of the processes that take place in these furnaces and reductions made in atmospheric emissions and noise level’ they are highly efficient and cost-effective’ consume small amounts of electric power’ and are convenient and safe to operate. The induction refining units made by the company RELTEK can be built with automatic charging and weighing equipment that will not only reduce staffing requirements but also accurately account for the metal that is remelted. This article presents the main specifications of arc furnaces that have been installed in the electric steelmaking shop at the Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Combine. One feature of these furnaces is that they can be operated with the use of liquid pig iron. Here’ the amount of pig iron in the charge can be as high as 40%. Oxygen-gas burners have become a standard component of modern electric-arc steelmaking furnaces worldwide as a means of increasing productivity and reducing electric power consumption. The use of such burners in these furnaces is expedient from both an economic and an energy standpoint. On the average, the use of 1 m3 of natural gas to heat the scrap in the furnace charge saves 0.6–0.8 m3 of natural gas for the refining operation. The amount of heat obtained from the combustion of natural gas can be increased significantly by equipping arc steelmaking furnaces with high-capacity rotary oxygen-gas burners that allow changes to be made to the direction of the flame. 相似文献
