The lipid class and fatty acid composition profiles of mammary glands of female rats fed a nutritionally adequate diet are compared to those of tumors induced in the mammary glands by intravenous injection of dimethylbenz(a)anthracene of animals fed the same diet. Ca. 95% of the lipids of the mammary glands of the control group of animals consisted of triglycerides; glycolipids and phospholipids were present in only minor amounts. In contrast, the lipids of the mammary tumors contained much lower amounts of neutral lipids and higher concentrations of phospholipids. The glycolipid fraction was a minor component of both tissues but differed greatly in composition. The composition of the phospholipid and neutral lipid fractions, particularly the latter, of the mammary tumors also differed from that of the mammary glands of the control animals. The neutral lipids of the tumor tissues contained elevated levels of free fatty acids and cholesterol and much lower concentrations of triglyceride compared to the mammary gland lipids. Differences also were observed in the fatty acid composition of tumor and mammary gland lipid. The greatest differences occurred in the concentrations of polyunsaturated fatty acids which were generally much higher in the tumor lipids.  相似文献

The influence of dietary excess (5%) L-histidine on serum and liver lipids was examined in rats. Feeding a histidine-excess diet for 3, 6, 14 or 30 days caused growth retardation, hepatomegaly and decreased liver lipids throughout the period of the experiment. Hypercholesterolemia was observed after feeding a histidine-excess diet for 6 days; then serum cholesterol continuously increased for 30 days. Serum triglyceride on day 30 in rats fed the histidine-excess diet showed a significant decrease compared to rats fed the basal diet. Serum phospholipids of rats fed the histidine-excess diet for 7 or 14 days showed a significant increase compared to rats fed the basal diet. When rats were fed a basal, histidine-excess or cholesterol-supplemented diet (0.5% and 1.0% cholesterol) for 6 days, the distribution of serum high density (HDL), low density (LDL) and very low density lipoprotein cholesterol in rats fed the histidine-excess diet was similar to that of rats fed the basal diet, whereas LDL-cholesterol increased and HDL-cholesterol decreased in rats fed the cholesterol-supplemented diet.  相似文献

It has been shown that cocaine given in the diet is able to reduce fat accumulation in the liver of protein-malnourished rats (Arch. Latinoamer. Nutr. 19: 69-79, 1969). This study was, therefore, designed to approach the probable action of the drug upon the process (increased triglycerides synthesis and normal/decreased capacity for exporting triglycerides from the liver into the blood) which leads to an increased fat accumulation in the liver under this physiological condition. To accomplish this purpose, the total and fractioned lipids in the liver and total lipids as well as lipoproteins in serum were determined in female Wistar rats (120-130 g) fed either a 5% corn protein diet or a 20% casein diet, with and without cocaine (15 mg HCl cocaine/10 g of diet) for 18 days. The results, aside from confirming the reduction (p less than 0.001) of fat accumulation in the liver of rats fed on the 5% corn protein diet plus cocaine, revealed that this drug also reduced triglycerides concentration (significantly, (p less than 0.001, when results were calculated by difference, and slightly reduced them when results were determined) in this tissue. Nevertheless, it increases both total lipids (p less than 0.05) and triglycerides-rich pre-beta lipoprotein (p less than 0.10) levels in the serum of these animals. Otherwise, these lipidic parameters were not modified by cocaine in rats on the 20% casein diet, except for the total cholesterol level in liver and the cholesterol-rich beta lipoprotein level in serum. Respectively, these were slightly and significantly (p less than 0.001) reduced by the drug. These evidences and their statistical significance suggest that cocaine given chronically with the 5% corn-protein diet for 18 days, reduces at least partially (other biochemical event in the liver could have also accounted for its effect at this level) the liver fat accumulation, by increasing the triglycerides output from the liver into the blood. Elsewhere, cocaine appears to be able to induce some metabolic alterations in the hepatic cholesterol of well-nourished rats.  相似文献

Hens were fed a practical diet supplemented and unsupplemented with 5% menhaden oil and a synthetic fat-free diet for a period of 90 days. Egg yolks from hens fed each of the three diets were analyzed for fatty acid composition and positional distribution of the fatty acids by successive chromatographic techniques. The triglycerides were resolved into fractions containing, 0, 1, 2 and 3+ double bonds per molecule. Each of these types was quantitated and analyzed for fatty acid distribution. The positional distribution was determined with the aid of pancreatic lipase hydrolysis. The feeding of the practical diet supplemented with 5% menhaden oil produced an increase in the 14∶0 acid in the intact triglycerides, 2-monoglycerides and 1,3-diglycerides with the majority of this acid being bound in the 1,3 positions. In the monounsaturated triglycerides the 16∶0 acid was linked predominantly at the 1,3 positions. The feeding of the fat-free diet produced a decrease in the 16∶1 acid content of the egg yolk lipids in the monounsaturated series, in the intact triglycerides, the 2-monoglycerides and the 1,3-diglycerides. The 18∶0 acid was linked more often at the 1,3 positions than at the 2 position, and was not affected by the diet consumed by the hens. Hens fed the fat-free diet produced more monounsaturated and diunsaturated triglycerides than those fed the other diets. Linoleic acid exhibited the greatest degree of preference for the 2 position, which was followed in turn by oleic acid. All other major acyl components were found to be preferentially esterified at the 1,3 positions. The difference observed in the fatty acid composition of egg yolk neutral and polar lipids was attributable to the fatty acid content of the diet. In the case of the oleic and linoleic acids, there was less variation in the saturated fatty acid content, which could be traced to the type of diet fed.  相似文献

A high cholesterol diet was found to induce fatty liver in spontaneously hypertensive rats. Although cholesterol ester and triacylglycerol accumulated in large amounts in liver, the increases of these lipids in plasma were relatively small and no increase in cholesterol and cholesterol ester was observed in aorta. In rats fed normal diet, plasma cholesterol ester mainly consisted of arachidonate species; however, oleate and linoleate esters became the most prominent species in rats fed a high-cholesterol diet. The amounts of oleate and linoleat at the 2-position of phosphatidylcholine in both plasma and liver were increased slightly, but the fatty acids of aorta lipids changed little by feeding a high cholesterol diet. These results indicate that the livers of rats fed the high cholesterol diet do not secrete cholesterol ester and triacylglycerol with altered fatty acids as rapidly as they are synthesized and that the increased levels of cholesterol oleate in liver and plasma are not directly correlated with atherogenic lesions under these conditions.  相似文献

Six groups of 1-day-old Warren chicks (seven per group) were fed for 15 days on diets with the protein supplement made of mixtures of soybean protein and dried yeast Saccharomyces carlsbergensis recovered from beer. The purpose was to establish the maximum substitution level of the soybean protein isolate by dried yeast, with the least possible related metabolic effects. Each group was fed one of the diets containing 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of the protein supplement based on yeast protein, substituting the soybean protein isolate. In order to estimate the NPR value of the yeast protein, a group which received a protein-free diet, was also included. Protein utilization and changes in both plasma and liver total lipids, triglycerides, cholesterol and liver and kidney uric acid, were determined. In triglycerides, cholesterol and liver and kidney uric acid, were determined. In the groups fed diets with 75% and 100% of yeast protein, decreased body weight gain and PER and NPR values were observed, as well as an increment in the liver and kidney uric acid concentrations, although the diet consumption was not substantially modified. Thus, protein utilization, measured as PER and NPR, was lower in these groups. Plasma uric acid was not modified in neither group. The plasma lipids were not altered at whatever yeast concentration, while in the liver, total lipids as well as triglycerides decreased when the dietary yeast was increased. Results indicated that when using whole yeast cells recovered from beer in pre-starting rations for chicks, 50% of yeast protein is the maximum substitution level.  相似文献

Soybean protein and casein supplemented with 1% Arg were compared for their ability to prevent fatty livers caused by excess dietary Lys. The concentrations of serum lipids and lipoproteins of rats fed 5% Lys and having vatty livers were also compared with those of rats fed the identical diet but lacking fatty livers when killed. The total liver lipids, triglycerides and cholesterol of rats fed 15% casein +5% Lys were 3.9, 12.4 and 2 times control values, respectively. Rats fed 5% Lys +1% Arg or 5% Lys with 15% soybean protein had liver lipid concentrations similar to controls fed no supplemental Lys. Serum total lipids, triglycerides, cholesterol, phospholipids and free fatty acids also did not change, and serum ketone bodies were slightly elevated with Lys feeding whether the rats had fatty livers or not. The concentrations of circulating HDL were slightly depressed in all rats fed 5% Lys while LDL were significantly elevated, particularly in rats without fatty livers. Serum VLDL did not change with 5% dietary Lys. Overall, excessive dietary Lys caused fatty livers which were prevented by varying the diet or length of feeding. Excess Lys feeding altered lipoprotein metabolism shown by decreased serum HDL and a substantial elevation in LDL. The latter was more apparent when the fat accumulation in liver was less severe or absent. The data suggest that the fatty liver from Lys excess is probably unrelated to increased fat mobilization from storage, decreased fat oxidation or to a major block in the transport of triglycerides from the liver to the circulation.  相似文献

Serum lipids were studied in iron-deficient and control rats during suckling and after weaning at 21, 30, and 60 days of age. Diets providing 5 or 307 ppm iron were fed to dams and their offspring during gestation, lactation, and after weaning. Rats on the deficient diet throughout the experimental period developed a hyperlipidemia characterized by elevated triglycerides, cholesterol, and phospholipids which was present at 21, 30, and 60 days. Control pups weaned to the deficient diet developed anemia at 30 days of age and hypertriglyceridemia at 60 days of age. Repletion of deficient rats with iron after weaning caused a rapid decline in serum lipid levels after only 9 days on the control diet. The hyperlipidemia of iron deficiency thus appears to be reversible with iron supplementation. The time required to develop hypertriglyceridemia in iron deficiency is longer postweaning than during suckling.  相似文献

Tender pods of okra are commonly consumed vegetables in India. Okra seed kernel, like soybean, is a rich source of protein and fat. Its fat, with its appreciable linoleic acid content (>42%), prompted us to look into its metabolic utility in comparison with commonly consumed groundnut oil. Serum lipid profiles, with respect to cholesterol, triglycerides and total lipid fatty acids were determined in rats receiving okra seed oil at a level of 10% in the casein based diet which was adequate with respect to vitamins, minerals, etc. The control group received a casein based diet in which groundnut oil was the source of fat. Serum lipid profiles in this group were similarly monitored. The feeding trial was carried out for a period of 90 days. Results showed that serum cholesterol content of rats receiving okra seed oil was significantly lower compared to those consuming groundnut oil. A decreasing trend in total lipids as well as triglycerides was also evident in animals fed okra seed oil. Serum fatty acid profiles showed a relatively higher proportion of long chain and polyunsaturated fatty acids in this group as compared to the group receiving groundnut oil. These results indicate that okra seed oil consumption has a potential hypocholesterolemic effect. The effect of the nature and amount of dietary calories on the lipid composition of bone marrow of rats was studied. Male weanling rats were fed 3 isocaloric diets, containing high carbohydrate, normal protein, and high protein, and a fourth high fat diet for 49 days. Feeding of the high carbohydrate, high protein, and high fat diets caused a significant increase in the level of total lipids compared to the normal protein diet. This increase of total lipids was due primarily to the increase in the level of triglycerides. There was no significant difference in fatty acid composition of either nonpolar or polar lipids of bone marrow among rats fed high carbohydrate diet and those fed normal protein diet. A comparison of fatty acid compositions between bone marrow lipids of rats fed high protein diet and the other 2 isocaloric diets revealed that the proportion of palmitic acid was higher and the proportion of oleic acid was lower in animals fed high protein diet than in animals fed the other 2 diets. Compared to the 3 isocaloric low fat diets, dietary feeding of high fat diet caused a decrease in the proportion of palmitic and palmitoleic acids and an increase in the proportion of oleic and linoleic acids in total fatty acids of both nonpolar and polar lipids.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of feeding n−3 polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA)-enriched chicken eggs on plasma and liver cholesterol levels and fatty acid composition in rats. Eggs were collected from laying hens fed diets containing 10% flax seed (Hn−3), 12% sunflower seed (Hn−6), or wheat and soybean meal control (CON). Yolk powders were prepared and fed at the 15% level to weanling female Sprague-Dawley rats for 28 days. Consumption of n−3 PUFA-enriched yolks significantly reduced both plasma and liver total cholesterol. Liver total lipids and phospholipids of rats fed Hn−3 diet were enriched with linolenic, eicosapentaenoic, and docosahexaenoic acids with a concomitant reduction of arachidonic acid in liver phospholipids. The plasma cholesterol of rats fed yolk powders enriched with n−6 PUFA (mainly linoleic acid) was reduced to the same extent as in those fed the n−3 enriched, but the liver cholesterol was significantly increased, indicating differential effects of dietary n−3 and n−6 PUFA. The results demonstrated that the cholesterolemic and tissue lipid modulating properties of chicken eggs could be modified in a favorable way by altering the fatty acid composition of yolk lipids through manipulation of laying hen diets.  相似文献

This study was designed to determine whether incorporation of γ-tocotrienol or α-tocopherol in an atherogenic diet would reduce the concentration of plasma cholesterol, triglycerides and fatty acid peroxides, and attenuate platelet aggregability in rats. For six weeks, male Wistar rats (n=90) were fed AIN76A semisynthetic test diets containing cholesterol (2% by weight), providing fat as partially hydrogenated soybean oil (20% by weight), menhaden oil (20%) or corn oil (2%). Feeding the ration with menhaden oil resulted in the highest concentrations of plasma cholesterol, low and very low density lipoprotein cholesterol, triglycerides, thiobarbituric acid reactive substances and fatty acid hydroperoxides. Consumption of the ration containing γ-tocotrienol (50 μ/kg) and α-tocopherol (500 mg/kg) for six weeks led to decreased plasma lipid concentrations. Plasma cholesterol, low and very low density lipoprotein cholesterol, and triglycerides each decreased significantly (P<0.001). Plasma thiobarbituric acid reactive substances decreased significantly (P<0.01), as did the fatty acid hydroperoxides (P<0.05), when the diet contained both chromanols. Supplementation with γ-tocotrienol resulted in similar, though quantitatively smaller, decrements in these plasma values. Plasma α-tocopherol concentrations were lowest in rats fed menhaden oil without either chromanol. Though plasma α-tocopherol did not rise with γ-tocotrienol supplementation at 50 mg/kg, γ-tocotrienol at 100 mg/kg of ration spared plasma α-tocopherol, which rose from 0.60±0.2 to 1.34±0.4 mg/dL (P<0.05). The highest concentration of α-tocopherol was measured in plasma of animals fed a ration supplemented with α-tocopherol at 500 mg/kg. In response to added collagen, the partially hydrogenated soybean oil diet without supplementary cholesterol led to reduced platelet aggregation as compared with the cholesterol-supplemented diet. However, γ-tocotrienol at a level of 50 mg/kg in the cholesterol-supplemented diet did not significantly reduce platelet aggregation. Platelets from animals fed the menhaden oil diet released less adenosine triphosphate than the ones from any other diet group. The data suggest that the combination of γ-tocotrienol and α-tocopherol, as present in palm oil distillates, deserves further evaluation as a potential hypolipemic agent in hyperlipemic humans at atherogenic risk.  相似文献

The effects of dietary highly hydrogenated soybean oil (HSO) upon the changes caused by dietary polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) were examined in rats. Six groups of rats were fed the following diets for 30 d: a 20% soybean oil-containing diet (control diet), a diet in which a half of soybean oil was substituted with HSO (HSO-A diet), a diet in which cellulose powder was replaced with HSO (HSO-B diet) and these diets supplemented with 100 ppm PCBs (control+PCBs, HSO-A+PCBs and HSO-B+PCBs diets). Hepatic concentration of PCBs and relative liver weight were markedly decreased in rats fed with the HSO-A+PCBs diet compared with those fed with the other diets containing PCBs. Liver lipids and liver cholesterol were considerably decreased with a reciprocal increase in fecal sterol excretion by rats fed the HSO-A+PCBs and the HSO-B+PCBs diets compared with those fed with the control+PCBs diet. The fatty acid composition in hepatic phospholipids showed an independent increase of the saturated fatty acid content induced by dietary HSO and PCBs. Dietary PCBs also caused decreases in the amounts of monounsaturated and n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids. These results suggest that dietary HSO prevents accumulation of PCBs in the liver and promotes the excretion of lipids stimulated by PCBs, accompanied by a change in fatty acid metabolism.  相似文献

The effect of saturated and unsaturated fats on in vitro formation and release of lipids and cholesterol from14C acetate by rat intestinal tissue was investigated. The rats were fed a basal diet enriched with either 25% corn oil or lard and then sacrificed after a 10- or 25-day feeding period. It was observed that a similar14C lipid content but a greater14C cholesterol content was found in the intestinal tissue of rats fed corn oil than in rats fed lard for 10 days. After a longer period of feeding of 25 days, the intestinal tissue14C cholesterol level was decreased in the corn oil fed rats without any significant effect on other lipids. These data suggest that corn oil in some way influences cholesterol biosynthesis depending upon its degree of unsaturation and the period of time for which it is fed. The decrease at the later time might involve some mechanism which aids in getting rid of accumulated tissue cholesterol. Less14C lipid and14C cholesterol were released by the intestinal tissue of rats fed the unsaturated fat as compared with those fed the saturated fat, suggesting a possible role in vivo in reducing blood lipids and blood cholesterol levels. Male Wistar rats were fed a high fat diet (HFD) containing 2.5% cholesterol and 16% lard supplemented with polyphenolic natural products namely quercetin, morin or tannic acid (100 mg/rat/day) for 4, 7 and 10 wk. Rats fed HFD without the supplements served as control. The effects of these compounds on blood lipid profiles, enzymes, liver fat and aorta of the rat were studied. In rats fed HFD containing tannic acid, plasma total cholesterol (TC), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDLC) and triglyceride (TG) were reduced by 33.3%, 29.6% and 65.1%, respectively, at week 10. High density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDLC) concentration was not altered. Fat deposition was also decreased in the liver of these rats. Morin significantly reduced plasma TG (65.1%) and liver fat only at week 7 while at week 10 it reduced plasma TC and LDLC by 30.9% and 29.3% respectively. The plasma HDLC concentration was increased by 47.3% at week 4 but no effect was seen at weeks 7 and 10. In the rats fed HFD containing quercetin, plasma HDLC was increased by 28.6% at week 7 but at week 10, plasma LDLC was increased by 21.2%. Quercetin did not cause any significant changes on the plasma TC, TG and liver fat at weeks 4, 7 and 10. Plasma alanine aminotransferase, alkaline phosphatase and bilirubin in control and treated groups were not significantly different. However, hepatic lipase activity in rats fed tannic acid was significantly lower. Aortae of all groups of rats showed no abnormalities. The present report indicates that tannic acid and morin are effective in reducing plasma and liver lipids when supplemented with a high fat diet in rats.  相似文献

The triglycerides from ucuhuba kernel fat (Virola surinamensis) were analyzed using thinlayer adsorption chromatography (TLC) followed by gas-liquid chromatography (GLC). The triglycerides were first separated into three fractions containing 0, 1, and 2 or more double bonds per molecule on silica gel TLC plates impregnated with AgNO3. The total triglycerides and each individual TLC fraction were then analyzed by GLC for the molecular weights of their component triglycerides and for their fatty acid composition. Quantitation of the TLC fractions was achieved by GLC analysis of their fatty acids using an added internal standard and confirmed by solving simultaneous equations derived from GLC analysis of their triglycerides and fatty acids. Application of these combined chromatographic techniques separated the ucuhuba kernel fat into 23 triglyceride components. Trimyristin and laurodimyristin comprised over half the total triglycerides, which was expected since the fat contained 20.0 mole % laurie and 71.3% myristic acids. Mango-kernel fat is a solid fat at room temperature and has a melting point of ca. 35 C. The fat was analyzed for its physico-chemical properties. It is rich in equal amounts of stearic and oleic acids (42%). Nutritional and toxicological evaluation of this fat was carried out by multigeneration breeding studies in weanling albino rats, feeding them mango-kernel fat or groundnut oil (GNO) at a 10% level in a 20% protein diet that was adequate in vitamins and minerals. The feed-efficiency ratio and growth rate of rats fed mango-kernel fat were comparable with the control group. Studies of calcium, phosphorous and nitrogen balance showed that the retention of these nutrients was not adversely affected by the mango-fat intake. The apparent digestibility of mango fat was comparable with GNO when fed to rats. Toxicological evaluation of the fat showed a comparable reproductive performance with the GNO-fed animals. Liver serum total cholesterol, triglycerides and total lipids were found to be within normal levels. The organ weights of the various tissues of the animals of both groups in the last generation were comparable. Histopathological studies of various organs revealed no abnormalities. These studies indicate that mangokernel fat can substitute for any solid fat without adverse effect.  相似文献

Male Sprague-Dawley rats were fed for 30 days a high-fat liquid ethanol diet with dihydroxyacetone, pyruvate and riboflavin added as supplements (AMA-). Plasma triglyceride (TG) levels were 6-fold greater in these rats than in those fed and alcohol with without the supplements (AA-). The liver TG content in rats fed the AMA-diet was similar to that of rats fed a control diet (CA-) in which alcohol was replaced with isocaloric amounts of dextrose. Livers of rats fed the AA- diet had 3 times more TG than controls. Alcohol ingestion also enhanced the hepatic content of cholesteryl esters (CE) and phospholipids (PL). These lipids were reduced to levels found in livers of rats fed the control diet (CA-) when dihydroxyacetone, pyruvate and riboflavin were included in the alcohol diet. The fatty acid compositions of TG, CE and PL from livers of rats fed the AMA-diet were similar to those of corresponding lipids from rats fed the control diet (CA-) but differed from compositions when fed the alcohol diet (AA-). Regardless of the diet fed, TG had the same fatty acid composition in plasma and liver. The same was true of PL fatty acid composition. However, the fatty acid composition of CE differed between liver and plasma. The major fatty acid in liver CE was 18∶1 whereas in plasma it was arachidonic acid (20∶4). Reduced fatty liver was observed in an earlier study when rats were fed ad libitum an ethanol diet containing 20∶4. In the present study, we pair-fed the same diet and fatty liver was not reduced. Dihydroxyacetone, pyruvate and riboflavin did not prevent alcohol-induced fatty liver when 20∶4 was included in the AMA-diet. Our results confirm that dietary dihydroxyacetone, pyruvate and riboflavin prevent alcohol-induced fatty liver, and show that this effect may result from increased mobilization of fat from liver.  相似文献

The effects of level and feeding frequency of retinoic acid (OIC) or retinyl acetate (YL) on the accumulation of lipids in the serum and liver of rats were investigated. Male Sprague-Dawley rats were fed ad libitum 1% cholesterol diets with or without supplemental OIC or YL. Vitamin A-fed groups included (per g of dry diet): 105 μg of OIC or 113 μg YL daily for 28 days, 735 μg OIC or 791 μg YL once each week for 28 days; and 735 or 105 μg OIC on day 1 or 105 μg OIC daily for the week experiment. Daily feeding of OIC or YL increased serum triglyceride concentrations as compared to controls. Several days after removal of OIC or 1 week after removal of supplemental YL from the rat diets, serum triglyceride concentrations returned to basal levels. Cholesterol feeding elevated serum cholesterol as well as hepatic cholesterol, total lipids and vitamin A concentrations. Daily OIC feeding depressed serum and hepatic cholesterol concentrations. These results show that daily supplement of vitamin A increased serum triglycerides and reduced serum and hepatic cholesterol concentrations. In this study, we have examined the feasibility of using the Thin Layer Chromatography/Flame Ionization Detection (TLC/FID) system to evaluate the lipid content of alcohol-induced fatty liver by comparing the results with those from other methods. Various amounts of standards (tripalmitin, phosphatidylcholine and cholesterol) were spotted on Chromarods and scanned either with or without development in a solvent system. The detector responses were significantly greater when the spots were not developed. From the results with developed rods, conversion factors (amount/area) were calculated. These were used for the quantitative analysis of the liver lipids from rats fed a Lieber-DeCarli ethanol diet or a control diet for four weeks. The triglyceride (TG), phospholipid (PL), cholesterol (CH) and cholesterol ester (CE) contents (65.9, 25.4, 2.9 and 6.8 mg/g, respectively) obtained by the TLC/FID system were similar to those observed by other methods (67.9, 27.6, 3.0 and 8.3 mg/g, respectively). The liver lipid content in control rats also was similar to that obtained by other methods (TG, 19.0 vs 20.6; PL, 24.2 vs 21.8, CH, 2.1 vs 2.1 and CE, 1.8 vs 2.6 mg/g). Thus, the magnitude of changes in liver lipid levels due to chronic alcohol ingestion obtained by alternate methods also was found with TLC/FID. The TLC/FID system provides a convenient method for rapid analysis of the extent of fatty liver in alcohol-fed animals.  相似文献
