Avocado honey samples were analyzed by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometric. First, the botanical origin of the honeys was confirmed by melissopalynological analysis. Twenty-four minerals were quantified for each honey sample. The elements Al, Ba, Ca, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, K, Li, Mg, Mn, Na, Ni, P, Pb, S, Se, Si and Zn were detected in all samples; seven elements were very abundant (Ca, K, Mg, Na, P, S and Si), six were not abundant (Al, Cu, Fe, Li and Zn) and 11 were trace elements (As, Ba, Cd, Co, Cr, Mo, Ni, Mo, Pb, Se, Sr and V).  相似文献

The aim of this study was to determine the levels of essential, trace and toxic elements, such as K, Ca, Fe, Cu, Al, Ni, Sn, Pb and Cd in citrus honeys from different regions (industrialized and nonindustrialized) of Hatay, Turkey. K, Ca, Na and Mg were the most abundant elements, with mean contents of 363.5, 256.6, 88.1 and 37.7 mg/kg, respectively. The trace element mean contents ranged between 0.032 and 15.58 mg/kg. Significant differences in Fe, Cu, Al, Ni, Sn, Pb, Cd, Co and Sr levels were observed between two different regions. The findings that Fe, Cu, Al, Ni, Sn, Pb, Cd, Co and Sr contents in citrus honeys from industrialized regions were higher than citrus honeys from non-industrialized regions indicate that the honeys were affected by industrial pollution. Chemometric methods were applied to classify honey according to mineral content. Cluster analysis showed three clusters corresponding to the three different regions.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to examine the status of some trace metals accumulated in the flesh of Suillus grevillei mushrooms collected from the same site over two successive years. Total Ag, Al, Ba, Ca, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, K, Mg, Mn, Na, Ni, P, Pb, Rb, Sr and Zn contents of fruiting bodies were determined by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES) with ultrasonic cross-flow nebuliser. A difference (p < 0.05) was found in the contents of Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, K, Na, Ni, Pb, Rb and Sr in caps and Fe, Na, P and Rb (p < 0.05) in stipes (Ag, Cd, Co, Cr, Ni and Pb were not determined in stipes). Natural fluctuations in trace elements’ content of Suillus grevillei collected from the same site over time is a variable that needs to be considered when assessing minerals’ nutritional status of mushrooms.  相似文献

The determination of 18 elements (V, Cr, Cu, Co, Se, Sr, Sn, Sb, Ba, Bi, Pb, Cd, As, Ni, Mn, Fe, Mg and Zn) in leaves, flowers and the infusion from Salvia fruticosa, a sage grown in Greece, is described. For this purpose, flame atomic absorption spectrometry has been used for the determination of Fe, Mg, Zn and inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry has been used for the determination of V, Cr, Cu, Co, Se, Sr, Sn, Sb, Ba, Bi, Pb, Cd, As, Ni, Mn using 45Sc 72Ge, 115In and 232Th as internal standards. The elemental content was found to be in the range of 0.01 (Bi)-30.8 (Mn) mg/Kg (leaves), 0.30 (Bi)-39.1 (Mn) mg/Kg (flowers), 0.003 (Sb)-20.4 (Mn) mg/Kg (infusion) for V, Cr, Cu, Co, Se, Sr, Sn, Sb, Ba, Bi, Pb, Cd, As, Ni, Mn and in the range of 0.07 (Zn)-3.21 (Mg) g/kg (leaves) for Fe, Mg and Zn. The majority of the samples were collected from six sites in the island Crete and transplanted and grown in a model farm. Chemometric techniques were used to investigate the original site classification according to their elemental content, and it was proved that the initial cultivation sites were characterized by only five elements (Sb, V, Zn, Cd and Cr). The application of factor analysis revealed significant correlation between certain elements, denoting their common sources. In addition, the total antioxidant activity of the herbal preparation was determined by measuring the 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) scavenging activity. Microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) was used to extract total antioxidants and the effect of temperature, time and solvent in the extraction efficiency was investigated. The determination of the antioxidant activity was based on the % inhibition of the absorbance signal of the radical DPPH at 515 nm, after the addition of herbal’s extract. The IC50 values were found to be in the range of 10.6–40.1 mg/L.  相似文献

Honey is a popular natural food product with a very complex composition mainly consisting of both organic and inorganic constituents. The composition of honey is strongly influenced by both natural and anthropogenic factors, which vary based on its botanical and geographical origins. Although minerals and heavy metals are minor constituents of honey, they play vital role in determining its quality. There are several different analytical methods used to determine the chemical elements in honey. These methods are typically based on spectroscopy or spectrometry techniques (including atomic absorption spectrometry, atomic emission spectrometry, inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry, and inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry). This review compiles available scientific information on minerals and heavy metals in honey reported from all over the world. To date, 54 chemical elements in various types of honey have been identified and can be divided into 3 groups: major or macroelements (Na, K, Ca, Mg, P, S, Cl), minor or trace elements (Al, Cu, Pb, Zn, Mn, Cd, Tl, Co, Ni, Rb, Ba, Be, Bi, U, V, Fe, Pt, Pd, Te, Hf, Mo, Sn, Sb, La, I, Sm, Tb, Dy, Sd, Th, Pr, Nd, Tm, Yb, Lu, Gd, Ho, Er, Ce, Cr, As, B, Br, Cd, Hg, Se, Sr), and heavy metals (trace elements that have a specific gravity at least 5 times higher than that of water and inorganic sources). Chemical elements in honey samples throughout the world vary in terms of concentrations and are also influenced by environmental pollution.  相似文献

Curry leaves (Murraya koenigii), collected from 19 different Indian states, were analyzed for six minor (Ca, Cl, K, Mg, Na and P) and 20 trace (As, Ba, Br, Ce, Co, Cr, Cs, Cu, Fe, Hg, La, Mn, Rb, Sb, Sc, Se, Sr, Th, V and Zn) elements by instrumental neutron activation analysis (INAA). In addition, Ni, Cd and Pb were determined by atomic absorption spectrophotometry (AAS). Most elements vary over a wide range, depending on geo-environmental factors and local soil characteristics. Fe, Mn, Na, K, Rb, Se and P vary by a factor of 3–5 whereas Br, Cs, Sc, Th and Zn vary by an order of magnitude. Leaves collected from the southern zone were enriched in K, Mg, Mn, Cl and P but depleted in Se. However, leaves from the northern zone were particularly enriched in Ca whereas those from the western zone were enriched in Zn. Concentrations of most elements from the eastern zone were on par with the mean values. Cr, Fe, Cu, V and Zn are known to play an important role in the maintenance of normoglycemia by activating β-cells of pancreas. Percent contributions of diabetically important elements from curry leaves were 1–2% of daily dietary intake (DDI) but are likely to be in bioavailable form thus making them effective for treatment of diabetes. Rb and Cs are linearly correlated (r = 0.93) as their salts enhance the absorption of insulin in the lower respiratory tract by breakdown of glucose. Abstract: Yellow‐cracking Bolete (Xerocomus subtomentosus) mushrooms and soil were collected from Note? Forest–a large forested enclave in western part of Poland. Mercury was determined by cold vapour atomic absorption spectroscopy and the other elements by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy. K, P, and Mg were particularly abundant, with mean values of 46000, 8400, and 1100 mg/kg dry weight (dw) in caps followed by Na, Rb, Zn, and Ca with mean concentrations of 580, 350, 200, and 170 mg/kg dw, respectively. In descending order, the mean concentrations of Fe, Al, Cu, and Mn were 52, 49, 46, and 14 mg/kg dw, while the mean for the remaining elements was around 1.0 mg/kg dw or less. The elements such as Ca, Cu, Hg, K, Mg, Na, P, Rb, Zn, Ag, Cd, and Ni were accumulated (with bioconcentration factor (BCF) > 1), while Al, Ba, Fe, Mn, Sr, Co, Cr, and Pb were excluded (BCF < 1) in the fruiting bodies. The Pb and Cd content did not exceed the maximum levels set by the EU for cultivated mushrooms. Mercury in a conventional meal (300 g) portion of Yellow‐cracking Bolete was far below the provisionally tolerable weekly intake of 0.004 mg/kg body weight (bw) as reevaluated recently by WHO. Practical Application: The method presented in this study allows one to determine the content of 20 elements (Ag, Al, Ba, Ca, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Hg, K, Mg, Mn, Na, Ni, P, Pb, Rb, Sr, and Zn) in caps and stipes of Yellow‐cracking Bolete (Xerocomus subtomentosus) mushrooms and soil samples collected from Poland. This study has revealed that the total Cd, Hg, and Pb dose provided to human body due to consumption of Yellow‐cracking Bolete does not pose threat to a consumer's health.  相似文献

采用硝酸-高氯酸对江西赣南8个县所产的脐橙样品进行消解,电感耦合等离子体原子发射光谱法(ICP-AES)同时测定试样中Al、As、Ba、B、Ca、Co、Cr、Cu、Fe、K、Li、Mg、Mn、Ni、P、Pb、Zn、Be、Cd、Se、Sr、La、Ce、Y、Sm、Lu等元素的含量。该法的相对标准偏差为0.42%~4.51%,加标回收率为87.7%~114.1%。实验结果表明:脐橙中含有丰富的K、Ca、P和Mg,不同县所产的脐橙各种微量元素含量存在一定差异。  相似文献

The aim of this study was to examine the minerals content (toxic elements, macro-elements and trace elements) of Basilicata region (southern Italy) honeys and compare the mineral profile of honeys classified as rural, industrial and urban according to anthropic characteristics of geographical origin. Overall, Ca, Na, Mg, Fe, Al, Zn and Mn were the most abundant elements detected in honeys, with average contents exceeding 1 ppm, whereas heavy metals content was lower than the maximum limit established for honey. Statistical analysis revealed significant differences (P < 0.05) among honeys as function of anthropic characteristics of geographical origin, with the exception for Se, Co and Ag content. Industrial honeys were characterised by the highest Zn, Cr, Sn, Cd and Pb content, urban honeys showed the highest As, Fe, Ni, Mn, Na, Mg and Ca content, whereas rural honeys showed the highest Cu, Al and Ba content (P < 0.05). The findings of this study highlighted that honeys mineral profile is closely related to different content of elements in environment, which is affected by anthropogenic activities.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to determine the levels of metals (Ca, K, Na, Mg) and trace metals (Ni, Fe, Cu, Mn, Zn, Pb, Cd) in two fish species (gilthead bream [Sparus aurata] and sea bass [Dicentrarchus labrax]) collected from fish farms located along the coast of Tenerife Island. Ca, K, Na, Mg, Fe, Cu, Zn, and Mn were measured by flame atomic absorption spectrometry, whereas Pb, Cd, and Ni were determined using graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry. Mean Fe, Cu, Mn, and Zn contents were 3.09, 0.59, 0.18, and 8.11 mg/kg (wet weight) in S. aurata and 3.20, 0.76, 0.24, and 10.11 mg/kg (wet weight) in D. labrax, respectively. In D. labrax, Ca, K, Na, and Mg levels were 1,955, 2,787, 699.7, and 279.2 mg/kg (wet weight), respectively; in S. aurata, they were 934.7, 3,515, 532.8, and 262.8 mg/kg (wet weight), respectively. The Pb level in S. aurata was 7.28 ± 3.64 μg/kg (wet weight) and, in D. labrax, 4.42 ± 1.56 μg/kg (wet weight). Mean Cd concentrations were 3.33 ± 3.93 and 1.36 ± 1.53 μg/kg (wet weight) for D. labrax and S. aurata, respectively. All Pb and Cd levels measured were well below the accepted European Commission limits, 300 and 50 μg/kg for lead and cadmium, respectively.  相似文献

利用微波消化-电感耦合等离子体质谱法(ICP-MS)同时测定了白砂糖和赤砂糖中31种微量元素。白砂糖中检测出23种,赤砂糖中检出27种。结果表明,Ca,Mg,K,Fe,Mn,Cu等6种元素在赤砂糖中含量比在白砂糖中含量高出4 ̄400倍。Li,Ba,Na,P,Al,V,Cr,Ni,Zn,Ga,Sr,Ag,Sn,Sh,Ba,Hg,Pb等17种元素在白砂糖和赤砂糖中的含量无显著差别。本方法具有前处理简单  相似文献

Three sour cherry and three table grape cultivars were analyzed using inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry. The elements: Na, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn, Cr, Cd, Co, Pb, and Ni were detected in all samples; four elements are very abundant (K, Na, Ca, and Mg), and four are not abundant (Cu, Fe, Mn, and Zn). Five of them are trace elements (Cr, Cd, Co, Pb, and Ni) at <0.1 mg/kg. Among the 13 elements analyzed, potassium was the most abundant element distributed throughout all categories of fruits. Iron was the predominant minor element constituents. Manganese concentration was the highest in table grape cultivars. The accuracy of the results was evaluated by spike recovery tests. Analysis of variance was used to establish the metals with significant difference in mean content between the cultivars from sour cherries and between table grapes. Principal component analysis was used to evaluate the distribution of metals.  相似文献

A method for the determination of Na, K, Ca, Mg, P, Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb and Zn levels in high saline food products (instant soups and seasoning mixtures) using ICP–OES was developed. The results of the direct determination with multi-elemental water standards were compared with the internal standardisation, the standard addition methods and the allowable limits of the above mentioned elements in food. The method was shown to be sensitive with limits of detection: Na 1.50, K 12, Ca 0.32, Mg 0.13, P 1.1, Cd 0.16, Cr 0.21, Cu 0.32, Fe 0.30, Mn 0.17, Ni 0.42, Pb 2.1 and Zn 0.21 (in mg kg−1). Honey is a nutritious product that is produced by honey bees. Its nutritional value and genuine quality is of great importance to consumers. The present study aimed at evaluating the physico-chemical properties of Palestinian multi-floral honey from the West Bank. For this purpose, a total of 33 honey samples were collected directly from honey beekeepers in different geographic regions of the West Bank and analyzed for pH, moisture, relative density, total sugars, reducing sugars, sucrose, fructose, proteins, ash, hydroxymethylfurfural, and mineral content. The mean physico-chemical contents were: pH = 3.44, moisture = 16.53%, relative density = 1.424, reducing sugars = 78.86%, sucrose = 4.10%, fructose = 38.29%, proteins = 0.33%, ash = 0.14%, and hydroxymethylfurfural = 12.32 mg/kg. Cd and Pb were below detection limits in all samples analyzed. Honey samples were rich in K, Na, Ca, Pb, and Mg with concentrations ranging between 183.86 mg/kg (K) and 22.74 mg/kg (Mg). Other trace elements (Fe, Li, B, Mn, Ba, Zn, Cu, Cr, and Ni) were found in much smaller concentrations between 5.21 mg/kg (Fe) and 0.08 mg/kg (Ni). In conclusion, the results of physico-chemical analysis of Palestinian multi-floral honey indicated purity and good quality that meet the international honey standards.  相似文献

采用原子吸收分光光度计测定了新疆岩蜥(Laudakia stoliczkana Blanford)和塔里木岩蜥(Laudakia tarimensis Zugmayer)全体、肌肉与皮肤中的K、Ca、Na、Mg、Fe、Zn、Mn、Sr、Cu、Mo、Cr、Ba、Co、V、Pb、Cd、Ni及Be18种元素的含量。结果表明,这两种岩蜥的常量元素和微量元素含量都比较丰富,其中K、Ca、Na、Mg、Fe、Zn、Sr、Mn、Cr、Br、Cu、Co、Mo含量比较高,而有毒元素Al、Pb、Ni和Cd的含量甚低。在这两种岩蜥全体、肌肉与皮肤三种样品中全体样品元素含量最高,但各元素含量的差异不明显。对两种岩蜥体内人体必需而具有抗癌作用的Fe、Zn、Sr、Mn等微量元素含量进行比较发现,新疆岩蜥分别为168.36、94.14、78.12、44.28μg/g,塔里木岩蜥分别为338.22、183.16、88.44、32.46μg/g。塔里木岩蜥中的Fe、Zn、Sr含量高于新疆岩蜥,而新疆岩蜥的Mn含量高于塔里木岩蜥。新疆岩蜥和塔里木岩蜥作为中药及维吾尔医药具有较高的药用价值及应用前景,并讨论了这些元素与其药用机理的关系,为这两种药用岩蜥的进一步研究及其开发利用提供科学依据。  相似文献

的附加值,用元素分析(elemental analyzer,EA)仪和电感耦合等离子体发射光谱(inductively coupled plasmaatomic
emission spectrometer,ICP-AES)仪测定了3 种豆皮的N、C、S、Ca、Mg、K、P、Na、B、Ba、Co、
Cr、Cu、Fe、Mn、Ni、Zn和Sr元素含量。结果表明,EA仪测定豆皮中N、C和S方法检出限为32~96 μg/g,回收
率为97%~115%,相对标准偏差为0.20%~2.63%(n=5);ICP-AES测定豆皮中Ca、Mg、K、P、Na、B、Ba、
Co、Cr、Cu、Fe、Mn、Ni、Zn和Sr元素方法检出限为0.02~152 μg/g,回收率为84%~118%,相对标准偏差为
0.44%~4.46%(n=5)。黄豆标准物N、Mg、P、B、Ba、Co、Cr、Mn、Ni、Zn和Sr元素测定值在推荐范围内,
S、Ca、K、Na、Cu和Fe元素测定值接近推荐值。分析方法快速、简便,达到了应用的要求。  相似文献

Major (Ca, Mg, P) and trace (As, Al, Ba, Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, Hg, Mn, Ni, Se, Zn) elements were determined in Brazil nuts by means of inductively coupled plasma atomic optical spectrometry (ICP-OES) and five of them were measured for the first time. For measurement of As, Hg and Se levels, hydride generation was used as the sample treatment method. The element concentrations were compared with recommended dietary allowances and upper tolerable levels. The distributions of the elements between lipid and lipid-free fractions were investigated with the use of solvent extraction. Two extractants (petroleum ether and chloroform:methanol 2:1) were applied. Most of the Cr, Fe and Ni contents were found in the lipid fraction, while Ba, Ca, Cu, Mn, P and Zn were mainly bonded with defatted nut residue. Al, Mg, Se, Sr were only present in the defatted fraction.  相似文献

目的:检测广东省市售18种干食用菌的26种元素含量并进行质量安全和健康风险评测。方法:采用电感耦合等离子体光谱法(ICP-OES)和电感耦合等离子体质谱法(ICP-MS)检测广东省市售18种干食用菌中Li、Be、B、Na、Mg、Al、K、Ca、Cr、Mn、Fe、Ni、Cu、Zn、As、Se、Sr、Mo、Ag、Cd、Sn、Sb、Ba、Hg、Tl、Pb等26种元素含量,并利用内梅罗综合污染指数评价法和靶标危害系数法对干食用菌质量安全等级及膳食暴露风险进行评估。结果:26种元素含量差异较大,其中K、Mg、Ca、Na、Al、Fe 6种元素含量较高,均大于100 mg/kg,Li、Be、Cr、Ni、As、Se、Mo、Cd、Sn、Sb、Hg、Tl、Pb等元素含量较低,均小于1 mg/kg;大部分重金属含量均低于国家标准中安全限量值,铅、镉、汞、砷、铬的超标率分别为0.00%、11.12%、5.56%、2.78%、1.86%。干食用菌重金属内梅罗综合污染指数表明,红菇、牛肝菌均达到中度污染等级,姬松茸、羊肚菌、竹荪均达到轻度污染等级,榛蘑达到警戒等级,其余12种干食用菌均属于安全级别。重金属膳食暴露...  相似文献

采用火焰原子吸收光谱法(FAAS)对牡蛎及其内脏中钠、铜、锌、铁、铅、锶、锰、钙8种微量元素的含量进行连续测定,并时其测定结果作对比分析.同时考察不同消解方法对分析结果的影响,并用加标回收法对比检验方法的可靠性.结果表明:微渡消解法效果较好,相对标准偏差在3.04%以下,回收率为96.89%~104.33%之间.牡蛎中含有丰富的微量元素Na、Cu、Zn、Fe、Sr、Mn、Ca,特别是Cu、Zn含量较高.牡蛎内脏中Na、Cu、Zn、Fe、Mn含量高于完整牡蛎中含量,Sr、Ca含量低于完整牡蛎中含量.牡蛎及其内脏中均未检出Pb.  相似文献

A survey of 25 honey samples from different botanical origin, collected all over the Turkey was conducted to assess their trace element contents. The aim of this study was to determine the levels of cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), copper (Cu), nickel (Ni), chromium (Cr), zinc (Zn), aluminium (Al) and selenium (Se) in honey samples from different regions of Turkey. Trace element contents were determined by a flame and graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry technique after dry-ashing, microwave digestion and wet-digestion. The accuracy of the method was corrected by the standard reference material, NIST-SRM 1515 Apple leaves. The contents of trace elements in honey samples were in the range of 0.23–2.41 μg g−1, 0.32–4.56 μg g−1, 1.1–12.7 μg g−1, 1.8–10.2 μg g−1, 8.4–105.8 μg kg−1, 2.6–29.9 μg kg−1, 2.4–37.9 μg kg−1, 0.9–17.9 μg kg−1, 83–325 μg kg−1 and 38–113 μg kg−1 for Cu, Mn, Zn, Fe, Pb, Ni, Cr, Cd, Al and Se, respectively. Iron was the most abundant element while cadmium was the lowest element in the Turkish honeys surveyed. The results showed that trace element concentrations in the honeys from different regions were generally correlated with the degree of trace element contamination of the environment.  相似文献
