反射显示技术的研究进展

反射显示具有超低功耗、高照度条件下易读性好、易于实现柔性、价格低廉等特点,广泛应用于各显示领域,包括电子纸、电子指示牌、电子货架标签、可穿戴显示等。特别是户外环境下使用的显示器件,对低功耗、高照度条件下易读性等有着显著的需求,因而反射类显示得到了快速的发展。为了更好地进行反射类显示的技术开发与推广,本文系统分析了3种主流的反射类显示技术,详细地阐述了3种主流反射类显示核心技术、显示原理与方案,并从显示从业者的角度对反射类显示技术的开发现状及发展进行了思考。

This book introduces important works on readability by researchers such as Thorndike, Dale and Tyler, and Lorge, as well as Flesch. It provides a useful general introduction to the field of readability studies.

对电子纸的要求可以归结为柔性、便于阅读和多功能。本文重点研究电子纸的可读性。考虑到目前还没有哪一种电子显示器像阅读纸张那样舒适,类似纸张的可读性,应该是电子纸最重要的指标。本文综述了可读性电子纸概念的提出,及对它的要求、样式变化、应用和各种可选用的技术。作为实现可读性的指标,能够像阅读纸张和LCD时所显示的那样自由使用信息载体,来评估用户的舒适度。     

一种使用VHDL语言实现HDB3编码的方法

HDB3码因具有无直流成分，低频成分少和连0的个数不超过三个等明显优点而成为数字基带通信中最常用的码型。同时，由于硬件描述语言VHDL可读性强，可移植性强，支持对大规模设计的分解和对己已有设计的再利用等强大功能。现在已经在通信电路设计上得到广泛应用，文中结合HDB3的编码规则，给出了一种使用VHDL语言实现HDB3编码的思路和方法。     

A STUDY OF AMERICAN NEWSPAPER READABILITY

This paper is based on a study of American newspaper readability in metropolitan and non-metropolitan areas. The results indicated that there was a significant difference between front page readability level of metropolitan and non-metropolitan newspapers. There was a significant difference in readability level between metropolitan and non-metropolitan newspaper articles. With the exception of the local news, the non-metropolitan means were higher for each of these classifications. There was no significant difference between metropolitan and non-metro-politan Associated Press articles. However, there was a significant difference between United Press International metropolitan and non-metropolitan articles. United Press International articles in non-metropolitan papers were more difficult to read.

Program slicing based on interesting index

With the scale of programs becoming increasingly bigger, and the complexity degree higher, how to select program fragments for slicing has become an important research topic. A new type of criterion called interesting index is proposed for selecting parts of procedures or procedure fragments to do program slicing. This new criterion considers not only the subjective aspects in users, namely users‘ emphasis on the time efficiency, storage capacity or readability, but also the objective aspect in large procedures. It also represents the benefit of the users, while displaying the many-faceted roles that program slicing plays. In this way users can proceed with program slicing to large systems or unfinished systems.

基于精密基准电压源LM199的解剖,对其恒温电路作了全面的计算机辅助分析。对器件灵敏度、容差范围进行了分析,并进行了电路优化、器件模型参数优选,提出了关键设计参数、电路工艺难点及可实现性。     

不完美量子封印的可读性与安全性关系研究

研究了一个不完美量子封印协议。给出了不完美量子封印可被读取者（Bob）自行读取封印信息b的几率即可读性α与信息被读取封印遭破坏后封印者(Alice)能检测出来的几率即安全性β之间的关系。结果表明：β≤1/2,α+β≤9/8。最后通过一个具体实例来验证该关系式。     

数字音频控制处理芯片SM9613设计实例

SM9613是3对输入4声道输出的数字音频控制处理芯片,芯片内部包含音量、低音、高音、通道均衡、前／后级衰减和响度处理;广泛应用于汽车音响系统和Hi—Fi音响系统。文中介绍了AT89C51单片机与SM9613进行通信的方法。编程时预先把控制数据做成表格,储存于程序区。然后用查表的方法检出衰减数据,用模拟的I^2C接口对SM9613进行控制。由于采用查表法,所以程序比较简洁,可读性好。此程序已应用于多款机器,运行稳定,效果良好。     

座舱显示器背光驱动电路的研制

座舱中液晶显示器的背光亮度自动调节功能非常重要,背光亮度直接影响信息的可读性。为了研制高效的能自动调节背光亮度的显示器,通过对相关电路的设计和对单片机定时器和中断器的编程控制,实现了液晶屏亮度的自动和人工调节,使得座舱显示器在各种环境光下都能正常有效的工作。该电路不仅可用于军用显示器还可用于民用显示器。     

Communication framework for MMOG based on custom protocol

This paper presents a real-time communication framework for massive multiplayer online games (MMOG), which is to ensure the efficiency of communication and software readability at the same time. Firstly, we compare the current mainstream serialization technologies and demonstrate the significance of custom protocol through analysis of those technical limitations. Then, the paper puts forward the concept of protocol-bean innovatively. By this means, we implement an object-oriented custom protocol method, which has higher performance and more readability. Finally, through the comparison of data bandwidth and real-time response time, experimental data shows this framework could ensure the lowest data bandwidth without destroying software structure. And compared with real-time server Red5, response time is improved by 40 times.     

Optoelectronic circuitry for a reading aid

A reading aid for the blind has been constructed that generates a tactile image of ordinary printing by using a rectangular array of vibratory pins. Reading material is focused on an array of phototransistors. These individually gate ON or OFF corresponding vibratory piezoelectric reeds that present the tactile image. A first model is described that verifies the unambiguous readability of typed material, but at a slow rate. It demonstrates as well the practicability of implementation of the reading aid using silicon phototransistors and integrated circuits.     

Compliance to personal data protection principles: A study of how organizations frame privacy policy notices

This study examines how organizations in Malaysia frame their privacy policy notice to comply with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA, 2010) and if these organizations differ in their level of compliance and the readability of their privacy notices. We collected the online privacy polices of 306 organizations from 12 sectors to assess their readability and compliance with PDPA requirements. The results show that private-owned organizations have higher compliance level compared to public-owned organizations. Sectors that hold more personal sensitive data obtain higher compliance scores. Non-governmental organizations demonstrate higher compliance level compared to government-owned organizations. Despite differences in the compliance scores, most organizations fail to meet the requirements of the PDPA. Our study also reveals that readability has a negative correlation with the compliance score because simple and shorter version of the privacy policies often lack detailed information. Our findings provide valuable insights into organizations’ privacy policy compliance across different sectors in Malaysia. Specifically, the Malaysian authority should implement more effective mechanisms to enforce the compliance of the PDPA. Organizations should also take corrective actions to improve the compliance scores of their online privacy policies.

Good writing style is easy to recognize but difficult to achieve. The basic elements to be considered for effective business communications are: clarity, content, organization, readability, words, sentences, paragraphs, and the readers. Content and organization comprise the preliminary steps. The choice and management of words, sentences, and paragraphs contribute to the clarity and readability of the text. Enveloping all these, however, must be an awareness of the readers' needs. With these guidelines in use, the objectives of business communications?to inform, to analyze, to persuade, to instruct? can be realized.

Verilog HDL作为一种规范的硬件描述语言，被广泛应用于电路的设计中。他的设计描述可被不同的工具所支持，可用不同器件来实现。利用Verilog HDL语言自顶向下的设计方法设计交通灯控制系统，使其实现道路交通的正常运转，突出了其作为硬件描述语言的良好的可读性、可移植性和易理解等优点，并通过Xilinx ISE6．02和ModelSim 5．6完成综合、仿真。此程序通过下栽到FPGA芯片后，可应用于实际的交通灯控制系统中。     

New microcharacters for wafer identification

Conventional identification (ID) systems use characters that are often illegible, with character recognition being difficult in as many as 20% of all processes. In contrast, new microcharacters in the V-shaped notch are clearly recognized throughout the process. The results can be explained by the following multiple effects. Marking location: These markings require only a small space. Hence, markings can even be in the beveled section of the V-shaped notch of a wafer. In the case of conventional ID systems, it is difficult to select an area that gives good readability during processes and wide enough for marking. Dot topography: A marking dot formed by conventional laser marking has a central depression due to the process of general heat distribution. In contrast, a marking dot formed by micro marking has a central peak protruding from the surface that is more easily distinguished than a dot that has a central depression. The contrast of the new dot is about two times greater than that of a conventional one. Contrast greatly influences readability
