A novel Ni-P-SiC composite coating was prepared by electroless plating in order to improve the corrosion capacity and wear resistance of AZ91D magnesium alloy. The influence of pH values on deposition rates and properties of the coatings was studied. The microstructure and phase structure of the Ni-P-SiC coatings were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffractometry (XRD). The corrosion and wear resistance performances of the coatings were also investigated through electrochemical technique and pin-on-disk tribometer, respectively. The results indicate that the composite coating is composed of Ni, P and SiC. It exhibits an amorphous structure and good adhesion to the substrate. The coatings have higher open circuit potential than that of the substrate. The composite coating obtained at pH value of 5.2 possesses optimal integrated properties, which shows similar corrosion resistance and ascendant wear resistance properties to the substrate.  相似文献

The microarc oxidation coatings with difference thickness were synthesized on AZ91D magnesium alloy. The microstructure and phase structure of the coatings were analyzed using SEM and XRD, the tribological properties and corrosion resistance behaviour of the coatings were also investigated. The results show that the coating contains two layers, a porous outer layer and relatively dense inner layer. The microhardness of the MAO coatings is four to six times higher than that of the magnesium alloy substrate. The MAO coatings have much better wear-resistance and corrosion resistance abilities than those of magnesium alloy substrate, but possess higher friction coefficient. The results further indicate that there is an optimization thickness for corrosion and wear resistance.  相似文献

目的提高AZ91D镁合金的耐腐蚀性能,扩大其应用范围。方法先在AZ91D镁合金表面化学镀Ni-P镀层,再化学镀Ni-Sn-P镀层,形成Ni-P/Ni-Sn-P双镀层。研究Ni-P/Ni-Sn-P双镀层的表面形貌和耐腐蚀性能,并与Ni-P单镀层进行对比。结果 Ni-P/Ni-Sn-P双镀层表面分布更均匀平整,缺陷较少,孔隙率较低,具有无定形结构。二次Ni-Sn-P镀层的腐蚀电位约为-0.77 V,略低于一次化学镀Ni-P层(约-0.68 V),两镀层间的电位差使得其构成了微腐蚀电偶,Ni-P层作为阴极,Ni-Sn-P层作为阳极,阳极优先被腐蚀。结论 Ni-P/Ni-Sn-P双镀层的Ni-Sn-P外层能为Ni-P内层提供阴极保护,较好地横向分散腐蚀电流,从而增强AZ91D镁合金基底的耐腐蚀性能。  相似文献

A direct electroless Ni-P plating treatment was applied to AZ91D magnesium alloy for improving its corrosion resistance and wear resistance. Corrosion resistance of the Ni-P coatings was evaluated by potentiodynamic polarization and immersing experiments in 3.5% NaCl solution. The wear resistance of the coatings was investigated by the wear track and the mass change after ball-on-disk experiment. The results show that corrosion resistance and wear resistance of the AZ91D alloy are greatly improved after direct electroless Ni-P plating. No discoloration is noticed until 4 d of immersion in 3.5% NaC1 solution. Potentiodynamic polarization experiments show that the free corrosion potential of magnesium alloy is shifted from -1 500 mV to -250 mV and passivation occurs at 1 350 mV after direct electroless plating. The friction coefficients and wear rates of Ni-P coating and Ni-P coating after tempering are 0.10-0.351, 9.038×10^-3 mm^3/m and 0.13-0.177, 3.056×10^-4 mm^3/m, respectively, at a load of 1.5 N with dry sliding. Although minor hurt on corrosion resistance was caused, significant improvement of wear resistance was obtained after tempering treatment of the coating.  相似文献

An environmental fn‘endly anodizing treatment (Anomag) from a phosphate-based solution without heavy metals on AZ91D magnesium alloy was studied. The characteristics of the coatings, such as structure, composition and corrosion resistance were investigated. The effects of this anodizing treatment on the mechanical properties were examined. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis revealed that the structure of the coatings is amorphous or glass. In salt spray tests coatings with an average thickness of 10μm had an anticorrosive performance of over 1000 hours. Fatigue tests revealed that anodizing onto AZ91D magnesium aUoy does not affect the fatigue strength. These results demonstrate the utility of this anodizing treatment on magnesium alloy for application as a structural material, such as in the automotive field.  相似文献

A stannate chemical conversion process followed by an activation procedure was employed as the pre‐treatment process for AZ91D magnesium alloy substrate. Zn was electroplated onto the pre‐treated AZ91D magnesium alloy surface from pyrophosphate bath to improve the corrosion resistance and the solderability. The surface morphologies of conversion coating and zinc coating were examined with scanning electron microscope (SEM). The phase composition of conversion coating was investigated by X‐ray diffraction (XRD). The electrochemical corrosion behavior of the coatings in the corrosive solution was investigated by potentiodynamic polarization curves and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The experimental results showed that the activated stannate chemical conversion coating provided a suitable interface between zinc coating and the AZ91D magnesium alloy substrate. The corrosion resistance of the AZ91D substrate was improved by the zinc coating.  相似文献

采用500 W脉冲激光器以不同扫描速度在AZ91D镁合金表面进行激光熔凝,运用XRD、SEM、EDS等手段测试了熔凝层的组织、显微硬度、耐磨性、耐腐蚀性等。结果表明,激光熔凝能提高镁合金的表面硬度及耐磨性,但未能提高其耐蚀性能。激光扫描速度对熔凝层的硬度影响不大。  相似文献

In this paper, a protective coating scheme was applied for the corrosion protection of AZ91D magnesium alloy. Electroless Ni coating (EN coating) as bottom layer, electrodeposited Ni coating (ENN coating), and silane‐based coating (ENS coating) as top layer, respectively, were successfully prepared on AZ91D magnesium alloy by combination techniques. Scanning electron microscopy and X‐ray diffraction were employed to investigate the surface and phase structure of coatings, respectively. The electrochemical corrosion behaviors of coatings in neutral 3.5 wt% NaCl solution were evaluated by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and potentiodynamic polarization techniques. The corrosion testing showed that the three kinds of coatings all could provide corrosion protection for AZ91D magnesium alloy to a certain extent, and the corrosion resistance of ENN and ENS was superior to EN. In order to further study the corrosion protection properties of ENN and ENS, a comparative investigation on the evolution of EIS of ENN and ENS was carried out by dint of immersion test in neutral 3.5 wt% NaCl solution. The results indicated that, compared with ENN, the ENS could provide longer corrosion protection for AZ91D magnesium alloy. It is significant to determine the barrier effect of each coating, which could provide reference for industry applications.  相似文献

The physical, chemical and mechanical properties of magnesium alloys make them attractive materials for automotive and aerospace applications. However, these materials are susceptible to corrosion and wear. This work discusses the potential of using sol‐gel based coatings consisting of ZrO2 and 15 wt.% of CeO2. The CeO2 component provides enhanced corrosion protection, while ZrO2 impart corrosion as well as wear resistance. Coating deposition was performed by the dip coating technique on two magnesium alloy substrates with different surface finishes: AZ91D (as‐casted, sand‐blasted, and machined) and AZ31 (rolled and machined). All as‐deposited coatings (xerogel coatings) were then subjected to 10 h annealilng: a temperature of 180°C was applied to the AZ91D alloy and 140°C to the AZ31 alloy. Morphological and structural properties of the annealed coatings were investigated by scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. Coating composition was examined using energy dispersive X‐ray analysis. Adhesion of the annealed ZrO2‐CeO2 coatings on the substrates, assessed by scratch tests, showed critical loads indicative of coating perforation of up to 32 N. Hardness and elasticity, measured using depth‐sensing nanoindentation tests, gave a hardness and elastic modulus of 4.5 GPa and 98 GPa, respectively. Salt spray corrosion tests performed on these coatings showed superior corrosion resistance for AZ91D (as‐casted and machined) and AZ31 (machined), while severe corrosion was observed for the AZ31 (rolled) and AZ91D (sand‐blasted) magnesium alloy substrates.  相似文献

在镁合金AZ31B表面通过预镀锌处理后采用无机熔盐电沉积铝锰合金。使用SEM、EDX和XRD分析镀层的表面形貌、成分和组织,采用动电位极化曲线及表面显微硬度测量考察了镀层对镁合金耐蚀耐磨性的影响。结果表明,熔盐成分、电流密度和熔体温度等典型工艺参数对铝锰合金镀层的形貌、成分和组织都具有重要的影响,进而影响了镀层的耐蚀性。镁合金电镀铝锰合金后,腐蚀电位有很大的提高, 而腐蚀电流密度大幅度的下降;同时铝锰合金镀层表现出很高的硬度,显著的提高了镁合金的耐蚀耐磨性。  相似文献

目的提高镁合金的耐磨性、耐蚀性,扩大其应用领域。方法采用"磷酸+钼酸铵酸洗→HF活化"的方法进行前处理,直接在AZ91D镁合金表面化学镀Ni-P合金镀层和Ni-P-SiC复合镀层。对两种镀层的表面和截面形貌、成分、结构、硬度、耐蚀性及耐磨性进行了系统比较。结果在Ni-P合金镀层中引入SiC粉末后,镀层的胞状颗粒细化,硬度提高至643HV,但其腐蚀电流密度有所增大。结论与Ni-P合金镀层相比,Ni-P-SiC复合镀层的耐蚀性有所下降,但耐磨性能大大提高。  相似文献

In this paper, the formation and corrosion resistance of the phytic acid conversion coatings on Mg, Al, and AZ91D magnesium alloy were contrastively investigated using scanning electronic microscopy (SEM), Auger electron spectroscopy (AES), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), electronic probe microscopic analyzer (EPMA), electronic balance, and electrochemical methods. The influence of phytic acid conversion coating as a middle layer on the properties of the paint on magnesium alloys was also investigated. The results show that the formation process of the conversion coatings is evidently influenced by the compositions of the substrate. The coating on pure aluminum is thinner and compacter than that on pure magnesium and the coating formed on α phase in AZ91D magnesium alloy is thinner but denser than that on β phase. The phytic acid conversion coatings formed on Mg, Al, and AZ91D magnesium alloy can all increase their corrosion resistance. The active functional groups of hydroxyl and phosphate radical are rich in the conversion coatings, which can improve the bonding between the organic paint and magnesium alloy and then improve their corrosion resistance.  相似文献

在大气环境中、恒定压力作用下,使用镁铝共晶合金粉末作为连接剂在AZ91D镁合金表面进行覆铝处理.利用扫描电子显微镜分析了铝箔与镁合金结合界面的显微组织结构,通过电化学腐蚀试验及球盘磨损试验对覆铝试样表面的耐腐蚀性和耐磨性进行了测试.结果表明,结合界面由Al_3Mg_2层、Mg_(17)Al_(12)层、镁铝共晶层、镁铝锌化合物层组成,覆铝后试样的耐蚀性、耐磨性较AZ91D镁合金均有提高.  相似文献

在AZ91D镁合金上直接化学镀Ni-P和Ni-W-P镀层,并利用扫描电子显微镜、X射线衍射仪及电化学工作站研究后续热处理对化学镀层组织形貌、相组成及其耐蚀性的影响。结果表明,制备的Ni-P镀层为非晶态,而Ni-W-P镀层为纳米晶结构,两者在3.5%NaCl水溶液中的耐蚀性相当。热处理可以明显提高Ni-W-P镀层的耐蚀能力,但却稍微弱化Ni-P镀层的耐蚀能力,热处理后的Ni-W-P层自腐蚀电位相对于未处理的化学镀Ni-W-P或Ni-P层提高了约150 mV。  相似文献

采用溶胶.凝胶法在AZ91D镁合金表面制备无毒、无污染的CeO2陶瓷涂层。探讨了CeO2耐蚀涂层的制备工艺过程,通过正交实验确定了最佳工艺参数;腐蚀实验结果表明,CeO2陶瓷涂层可以显著提高镁合金基体的耐蚀性。采用SEM对膜层形貌进行了观察,发现薄膜对基体的覆盖度较高,膜层完整,与基体的结合力较强;用XRD,XPS对表面层物相和元素组成进行了测定,结合其它实验结果提出并讨论了镁合金表面CeO2陶瓷膜的形成机制以及膜层对基体耐蚀性影响的机理。  相似文献

采用自动化高速电弧喷涂系统,用自行研制的粉芯丝材,在AZ91镁合金基体表面上制备出Al-Ni-Y-Co非晶纳米晶复合涂层.采用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、X射线衍射仪(XRD)、透射电子显微镜(TEM)分析了Al-Ni-Y-Co非晶纳米晶复合涂层的微观形貌和组织结构,结果表明Al-Ni-Y-Co非晶纳米晶复合涂层是由非晶相和纳米晶化相共同组成的,涂层结构致密,孔隙率约为1.8%.Al-Ni-Y-Co非晶纳米晶复合涂层的平均显微Vickers硬度值为311.7 HV0 1,结合强度为26.8 MPa.涂层的抗磨损耐腐蚀性能优于Al涂层和AZ91镁合金基体;其相对耐磨性约为Al涂层的10倍,为AZ91镁合金的6倍;其自腐蚀电位值正于Al涂层及AZ91镁合金,自腐蚀电流密度值约为Al涂层的1/2,AZ91镁合金的1/5;其腐蚀后的表面形貌比Al涂层和AZ91镁合金平整,点蚀较少.Al-Ni-Y-Co非晶纳米晶复合涂层的耐磨防腐综合性能优异.  相似文献

The corrosion behaviours of four kinds of rolled magnesium alloys of AZ31, AZ91, AM60 and ZK60 were studied in 1 mol/L sodium chloride solution. The results of EIS and potentiodynamic polarization show that the corrosion resistance of the four materials is ranked as ZK60>AM60>AZ31>AZ91. The corrosion processes of the four magnesium alloys were also analyzed by SEM and energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS). The results show that the corrosion patterns of the four alloys are localized corrosion and the galvanic couples formed by the second phase particles and the matrix are the main source of the localized corrosion of magnesium alloys. The corrosion resistance of the different magnesium alloys has direct relationship with the concentration of alloying elements and microstructure of magnesium alloys. The ratio of the β phase in AZ91 is higher than that in AZ31 and the β phase can form micro-galvanic cell with the alloy matrix, as a result, the corrosion resistance of AZ31 will be higher than AZ91. The manganese element in AM60 magnesium alloy can form the second phase particle of AlMnFe, which can reduce the Fe content in magnesium alloy matrix, purifying the microstructure of alloy, as a result, the corrosion resistance of AM60 is improved. However, due to the more noble galvanic couples of AlMnFe and matrix, the microscopic corrosion morphology of AM60 is more localized. The zirconium element in ZK60 magnesium alloy can refine grain, form stable compounds with Fe and Si, and purify the composition of alloy, which results in the good corrosion resistance of ZK60 magnesium alloy.  相似文献

目的提高镁合金的耐蚀性和耐磨性。方法以AZ91D镁合金为基体,采用SiC颗粒质量浓度为3 g/L的Ni-P化学镀溶液,在其表面沉积不同时间,制备Ni-P-SiC复合镀层。通过扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、显微硬度测试、粗糙度仪、电化学腐蚀和磨损等试验来分析和评价Ni-P-SiC复合镀层的厚度、表面粗糙度、显微硬度、耐腐蚀性能和耐磨性能。结果 Ni-P-SiC复合镀层的厚度和表面粗糙度随沉积时间增加而增加,沉积时间为150 min时,镀层厚度可达53μm,表面粗糙度为2.5μm。沉积时间为120 min时,镀层的显微硬度最高,为641HV,此时复合镀层的耐蚀性和耐磨性最好,自腐蚀电位高达-0.73 V,腐蚀电流密度为0.78μA/cm~2,磨损体积最小,为1.04×10~(-3)mm~3。与AZ91D镁合金基体相比,沉积复合镀层后的样品更耐蚀,说明复合镀层有效改善了镁合金基体的耐蚀性。结论沉积时间对Ni-P-SiC复合镀层的性能有一定影响,在沉积时间为120 min时获得的复合镀层具有较好的耐蚀性和耐磨性。  相似文献

采用电化学沉积方法在AZ91镁合金表面制备了羟基磷灰石(HA)涂层,研究了电沉积工艺参数对羟基磷灰石涂层形貌和相组成的影响,并通过腐蚀浸泡试验、极化曲线测试等方法对该涂层的耐蚀性进行了研究。结果表明:当溶液pH为4.5,温度为60℃时,涂层的致密性最好,呈放射状的结构,主要成分为HA相,涂层的厚度约为60~70μm,与基体结合较好;HA涂层对镁合金基体具有较好的保护作用,显著提高了基体合金在生理溶液中的耐蚀性。  相似文献
