We present a new control algorithm and system design for a network of quantum repeaters, and outline the end-to-end protocol architecture. Such a network will create long-distance quantum states, supporting quantum key distribution as well as distributed quantum computation. Quantum repeaters improve the reduction of quantum-communication throughput with distance from exponential to polynomial. Because a quantum state cannot be copied, a quantum repeater is not a signal amplifier. Rather, it executes algorithms for quantum teleportation in conjunction with a specialized type of quantum error correction called purification to raise the fidelity of the quantum states. We introduce our banded purification scheme, which is especially effective when the fidelity of coupled qubits is low, improving the prospects for experimental realization of such systems. The resulting throughput is calculated via detailed simulations of a long line composed of shorter hops. Our algorithmic improvements increase throughput by a factor of up to 50 compared to earlier approaches, for a broad range of physical characteristics. 相似文献

介绍了一款高精度大衰减量单片数控衰减器的主要技术指标和设计方法。电路设计基于Agilent ADS微波软件设计环境,采用GaAs HFET工艺技术实现。对开关器件建模流程和数控衰减器电路设计流程分别作了相应的描述。针对不同衰减值的基本衰减位,选择合适的衰减拓扑。通过采用创新的大衰减量衰减结构,既实现了63.5 dB的大衰减量,又满足其衰减精度的要求,还达到了整个单片数控衰减器低插入损耗和高衰减精度的目标。单片电路测试结果为:在3~100 MHz工作频率范围内,插入损耗≤2.2 dB,驻波比≤1.4∶1,衰减范围为0.5~63.5 dB。测试结果表明设计方法有效、可行。电路尺寸为3.5 mm×1.4 mm×0.1 mm,控制电压为0 V和-5 V。 相似文献

The effects of filter shaping and nonlinearity in a coherent quadrature phase-shift-keyed (QPSK) system are investigated. Optimization of the receiver filter with respect to the meansquare error (MSE) is considered. Optimization is performed under two different constraints, corresponding to implementation of the filter at intermediate frequency and baseband, respectively. As an example a channel with a typical traveling-wave tube (TWT) nonlinearity is studied. Numerical results are obtained which describe the effect of different transmitter filter characteristics on system performance. 相似文献

设计和分析了V波段E面波导短截线带通滤波器。利用E面波导短截线带阻滤波器的通带-阻带特性与矩形波导的高通特性相结合,将波导短截线带阻滤波器嵌入WR-15矩形波导中,设计具有高阻带抑制性能、过渡边带陡峭、宽阻带范围的V波段宽带带通滤波器。采用"场"、"路"相结合的方法设计的带通滤波器,仿真与测试结果吻合较好,验证了该设计方法的有效性。经测试实现了18%的1 dB带宽,在50.0~57.8 GHz通带内插入损耗≤1 dB,阻带频率58.9 GHz处抑制为43.6 dBc。 相似文献

针对微带发夹滤波器高端抑制度低的问题,提出了一种由短截线和发夹级联带通滤波器,该滤波器实现抑制谐波信号和改善了高端阻带的抑制能力.通过理论和工程实验进行验证,同时采用先进设计系统(ADS)软件设计了一种工作于C频段的通带为5.0~5.5 GHz的微带带通滤波器.实测结果与仿真结果基本吻合,达到了设计要求. 相似文献

The widespread use of the personal navigation devices makes indoor positioning a major technological issue. The development perspectives of location-based services dramatically increase the importance of developing adequate solutions. In this paper, we carry out a theoretical study of an indoor positioning technique based on time-delayed Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) repeaters. It is a simple solution deploying minimal infrastructure which can use either outdoor repeated Global Positioning System (GPS) signals or a single signal generator. However, the positioning method presents limitations in terms of correlation and tracking performances. The paper presents theoretical approaches in order to overcome the interference problems and to improve the quality of the GPS signal reception. The new system based on ldquorepealitesrdquo (that comes from repeater and pseudolite) makes the best use of repeater and pseudolites in order to allow a fair continuity of the GNSS service indoors. 相似文献

电路小型化需要多频段可调元器件,基于CPW(共面波导)结构采用最新的铁氧体LTCC(低温共烧陶瓷)技术,内埋若干偏置线圈以产生内部偏置磁场,调节线圈内电流大小以控制偏置磁场大小,从而控制衰减器的工作频率,同时,控制通电线圈的个数以改变衰减器的衰减幅度,进而实现频率和衰减幅度双可调的衰减器。首先介绍了基于铁氧体材料的衰减器基本原理,然后展示了基于铁氧体LTCC 技术的无内置线圈衰减器的设计、制作和测量,在外加偏置磁场的条件下,验证了铁氧体LTCC 衰减器的理论可行性,经实测,该衰减器可以在4~9 GHz之间实现频率可调以及相应的衰减幅度可调。随后提出了有内置线圈的铁氧体LTCC 衰减器模型,并展示了线圈静态磁场、衰减器频率可调和幅度可调的仿真结果。最后制作了该衰减器并完成了实测,在铁氧体LTCC特有内部衰减场上实现了频率和幅度双可调衰减器,从而给出了可调衰减器的新思路。 相似文献
