In this paper, the stability analysis issue of stochastic recurrent neural networks with unbounded time-varying delays is investigated. By the idea of Lyapunov function and the semi-martingale convergence theorem, both pth moment exponential stability and almost sure exponential stability are obtained. Moreover, the M-matrix technique is borrowed to make the results more applicable. Our criteria can be used not only in the case of bounded delay but also in the case of unbounded delay. Some earlier results are improved and generalized. An example is also given to demonstrate our results.  相似文献

This correspondence investigates the global exponential stability problem of Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy cellular neural networks with time-varying delays (TSFDCNNs). Based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional theory and linear matrix inequality technique, a less conservative delay-dependent stability criterion is derived to guarantee the exponential stability of TSFDCNNs. By constructing a Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, the supplementary requirement that the time derivative of time-varying delays must be smaller than one is released in the proposed delay-dependent stability criterion. Two illustrative examples are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed results.  相似文献

In this paper, the stability problem of stochastic memristor-based recurrent neural networks with mixed time-varying delays is investigated. Sufficient conditions are established in terms of linear matrix inequalities which can guarantee that the stochastic memristor-based recurrent neural networks are asymptotically stable and exponentially stable in the mean square, respectively. Two examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.

A new definition of dissipativity for neural networks is presented in this paper. By constructing proper Lyapunov functionals and using some analytic techniques, sufficient conditions are given to ensure the dissipativity of neural networks with or without time-varying parametric uncertainties and the integro-differential neural networks in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.  相似文献

By using the usual additive neural-network model, a delay-independent stability criterion for neural dynamics with perturbations of time-varying delays is derived. We extend previously known results obtained by Gopalsamy and He (1994) to the time varying delay case, and present decay estimates of solutions of neural networks. The asymptotic stability is global in the state space of neuronal activations. From the techniques used in this paper, it is shown that our criterion ensures stability of neural dynamics even when the delay functions vary violently with time. Our approach provides an effective method for the stability analysis of neural dynamics with delays.  相似文献

By combining Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with an arbitrary switching rule, the mathematical model of a class of switched Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with mixed time-varying delays is established. Moreover, robust stability for such switched Cohen-Grossberg neural networks is analyzed based on a Lyapunov approach and linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique. Simple sufficient conditions are given to guarantee the switched Cohen-Grossberg neural networks to be globally asymptotically stable for all admissible parametric uncertainties. The proposed LMI-based results are computationally efficient as they can be solved numerically using standard commercial software. An example is given to illustrate the usefulness of the results.  相似文献

This paper studies the problems of global exponential stability for impulsive high-order Hopfield-type neural networks (NNs) with time-varying delays. By employing the Lyapunov-Razumikhin technique, some criteria ensuring global exponential stability are derived. Our results are then used to obtain some sufficient conditions under which some NNs can be forced to converge by impulsive control. In this paper, the global exponential convergence of a general class of periodic neural networks with time-varying delays is investigated. Based on the theory of mixed monotone operator, a testable algebraic criteria for ascertaining global exponential convergence is derived. 利用自由权值矩阵和不等式分析技巧,研究了一类不确定时滞BAM神经网络的鲁棒稳定性问题。通过构造适当的Lyapunov泛函,对于所有允许的不确定性,以线性矩阵不等式形式给出了时滞BAM神经网络的全局鲁棒稳定性判据,该判据能够利用Matlab的LMI工具箱很容易地进行检验。此外,仿真示例进一步证明了判据的有效性。  相似文献

Memristor is the new model two-terminal nonlinear circuit device in electronic circuit theory. This paper deals with the problem of global dissipativity and global exponential dissipativity for memristor-based complex-valued neural networks (MCVNNs) with time-varying delays. Sufficient global dissipativity conditions are derived from the theory of M-matrix analysis, and the globally attractive set as well as the positive invariant set is established. By constructing Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals and using a linear matrix inequality technique, some new sufficient conditions on global dissipativity and global exponential dissipativity of MCVNNs are derived. Finally, two numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed theoretical results.  相似文献

By employing Lyapunov functional theory as well as linear matrix inequalities, ultimate boundedness of stochastic Hopfield neural networks (HNN) with time-varying delays is investigated. Sufficient criteria on ultimate boundedness of stochastic HNN are firstly obtained, which fills up a gap and includes deterministic systems as our special case. This paper considers the impulsive control of unstable neural networks with unbounded time-varying delays, where the time delays to be addressed include the unbounded discrete time-varying delay and unbounded distributed time-varying delay. By employing impulsive control theory and some analysis techniques, several sufficient conditions ensuring μ-stability, including uniform stability, (global) asymptotical stability, and (global) exponential stability, are derived. It is shown that an unstable delay neural network, especially for the case of unbounded time-varying delays, can be stabilized and has μ-stability via proper impulsive control strategies. Three numerical examples and their simulations are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the control strategy.  相似文献

In this paper, the exponential passivity for bidirectional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with time-varying delays is considered. In our study, the lower and upper bounds of the activation functions are allowed to be either positive, negative or zero. By constructing new and improved Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and introducing free-weighting matrices, a new and improved delay-dependent exponential passivity criterion for BAM neural networks with time-varying delays is derived in the form of linear matrix inequality (LMI). A numerical example is given to show that the derived condition is less conservative than some existing results given in the literature.

This paper is devoted to the finite-time stability analysis of neutral-type neural networks with random time-varying delays. The randomly time-varying delays are characterised by Bernoulli stochastic variable. This result can be extended to analysis and design for neutral-type neural networks with random time-varying delays. On the basis of this paper, we constructed suitable Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional together and established a set of sufficient linear matrix inequalities approach to guarantee the finite-time stability of the system concerned. By employing the Jensen's inequality, free-weighting matrix method and Wirtinger's double integral inequality, the proposed conditions are derived and two numerical examples are addressed for the effectiveness of the developed techniques.  相似文献

This article mainly studies delayed fuzzy cellular neural networks. A sufficient criterion to guarantee the existence and exponential stability of anti-periodic solutions for this system is given. In this paper, we present new results on multistability and attractivity of second-order networks with unsupervised Hebbian-type learning component and time-varying delays. By using the properties of activation functions, we divide state space into invariant sets and establish new criteria of coexistence of equilibrium points which are exponentially stable. The attained results show that second-order synaptic interactions and learning behaviour have an important effect on the multistable convergence of the networks. Finally, numerical simulations will illustrate multistable learning dynamics of second-order networks.  相似文献
