Synthesis of 2-variable active RC networks

A general procedure is outlined to realize an arbitrary stable 2-variable transfer function. The complete realization utilizes only resistors, capacitive elements and operational amplifiers; moreover, it is characterized by low active and passive sensitivities. The method may easily be extended to the realization of multivariable transfer functions.     

On the realization of gyrators by nullors and resistors

It is proved that for the realization of a gyrator by nullors and resistors, at least two nullors and at least two resistors are needed. A generalization is the result that any n-port network possessing both an impedance and an admittance matrix and consisting of nullors and resistors must contain at least n resistors. It is conjectured that a realization of a gyrator with only two nullors requires four resistors and a realization of a gyrator with only two resistors requires three nullors.

Non-reciprocal network synthesis using the generalized richards transformation

A generalization of the Richards transformation is presented and its properties are derived. the new transformation is appropriate for the canonic synthesis of non-reciprocal network sections based on the transformation of an impedance, and it is shown that under certain constraints a transformerless realization is possible. the generalized Richards transformation can also be applied to the synthesis of network sections without degree reduction of the impedance to be transformed. This kind of application is important for the realization of transfer functions. A dual transformation for an admittance is established. Finally, it is shown how to use the generalized Richards transformation for the synthesis of transfer functions by doubly terminated lossless two-ports.

微机保护装置中PLC功能的实现和应用

提出了一种结合电力微机保护和可编程逻辑控制器(PLC)2种自动化设备各自优点的新方法,从功能实现的基础上看这2种装置有很大的相似之处,具备互相融合的条件、一定规模的可编程逻辑,从而方便用户实现现场的复杂闭锁和特殊要求。分析了2种装置的软、硬件框架和实现方案,给出了PLC平台和传统微机保护平台的差别和合并的可行性,并介绍了在微机保护装置中增加PLC功能的具体方法,所有方案都在相应平台上做过测试。最后,介绍了西门子保护的PLC功能(CFC)及其应用模式的灵活性。

The jaumann structure in wave-digital filters

This paper deals with an extension of the wave-digital filter structures introduced by Fettweis. A new structure is introduced, viz, the digital translation of the Jaumann structure. The Jaumann structure is a well-known canonical realization of analogue, symmetric, grounded lossless two-port networks. With this structure, transfer functions with complex transmission zeros can be obtained in a wave-digital realization, which is not possible by means of a wave-digital ladder filter. Two examples are given, one of which has been implemented using TTL digital integrated circuits showing excellent properties.
