采用乳液聚合方式将一种聚合型的受阻胺光稳定剂4-丙烯酰氧基-1,2,2,6,6-五甲基哌啶(PMPA)与丙烯腈(AN)进行共聚,制备出一种含有受阻胺光稳定基团的聚丙烯腈共聚物——丙烯腈-4-丙烯酰氧基-1,2,2,6,6-五甲基哌啶醇共聚物[Poly(AN-co-PMPA)],并用该聚合物对聚甲醛(POM)进行共混改性。结果表明,Poly(AN-co-PMPA)可以改善POM的紫外光稳定性,而且其长期耐老化性能优于小分子光稳定剂对POM的改性。此外,Poly(AN-co-PMPA)在一定程度上可以提高聚POM的抗冲性能。  相似文献

传统上,聚氯乙烯(PVC)防光老化主要用于二苯甲酮类光稳定体系,一般认为在聚烯烃中应用效果较好的受阻胺光稳定剂,不适用于PVC体系,将受阻胺光稳定剂试用于PVC薄膜,结果表明,该光稳定剂用于PVC中,其光,热稳定效果与二苯甲酮类紫外光稳定剂相近,为使PVC具有防尘功能的丙烯酸酯类聚合物表面涂层,对PVC的紫外光稳定有益。  相似文献

The effect of photostabilizers on the mechanical, thermal, and physical properties of textile fiber reinforced polymer (T‐FRP) composites was investigated. In the first phase of this study, the effect of different concentrations of ultra violet absorber (UVA), hindered amine light stabilizers (HALS) and antioxidants (AOs) into T‐FRP composites for unweathering condition are examined. Mechanical tests were performed as well as differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis for thermal properties. According to test results, there is no significant effect of photostabilizers on the mechanical and thermal properties of the T‐FRP composites. In the second phase of the study, the influence of the photostabilizers on the durability performance of T‐FRP composites is focused under the accelerated UV weathering condition by the help of tensile testing, thermal analysis, and color measurements. According to test results, only about 5% loss in mechanical properties (25% loss for composites without additives) can be observed after 240 h of UV weathering with HALS and UVA addition at adequate concentrations. In addition, AOs can be considered as a strong stabilizer on physical properties with lower color change values. This work shows that the efficiency of the photostabilizers is highly dependent on the type, concentration, and weathering time. POLYM. ENG. Ultraviolet absorbers and hindered amine light stabilizers are two kinds of efficient photostabilizers, which have different mechanisms. It is possible to make a synergistic interaction if introducing these two types of photostabilizing fragments into one molecule. In this article, two novel multifunctional photostabilizers UVH‐1 and UVH‐2 containing UVA and HALS fragments were synthesized from a 2‐hydroxyphenylbenzotriazole compound (UV‐P). UVH‐1 was synthesized by a three‐step synthetic strategy via esterification, bromination, and amination. UVH‐2 was facilely synthesized by a one‐step three‐component Mannich reaction. The chemical structure of UVH‐1 and UVH‐2 were confirmed by Fourier‐transform infrared (FTIR), 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and mass spectrometry. Both multifunctional photostabilizers UVH‐1 and UVH‐2 show good ultraviolet absorption performance and excellent light stabilizing effect when applied to photoprotection of dye, polyacrylonitrile, and polyurethane in the solution state, in which UVH‐1 shows better light stabilization performance even on polymers. It can be concluded that a combination of the HALS and UVA active groups can enhance the photoprotective effect on dyes and polymers and also increase the molecular weight of the additive to overcome escape of the photostabilizer from the polymer matrix. The role of hindered piperidine (HALS) photostabilizers for the photostabilization of polypropylene films against oxidative reactions caused by ozone and oxidative species formed during photolysis of ozone under UV irradiation (i.e., atomic oxygen and singlet oxygen) has been investigated and discussed. It has been found that ozonization and/or photoozonization of 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-piperidine (I) and piperidinoxy radical (2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidino-1-oxy) (II) gives a high yield (91–98%) 2,6-dimethyl-2-hydroxy-6-nitro-heptane. Ozonization and/or photoozonization of HALS probably occur by a similar mechanism as reported for (I) and (II). HALS photostabilizer reacts with ozone and/or photolysis products of ozone (atomic oxygen and/or singlet oxygen) and loses its function in the photostabilization process. For that reason protection of polypropylene against photooxidative degradation and photoozonization is of great commercial importance.  相似文献

Genetically encodable fluorescent proteins have revolutionized biological imaging in vivo and in vitro. Despite their importance, their photophysical properties, i. e., brightness, count-rate and photostability, are relatively poor compared to synthetic organic fluorophores or quantum dots. Intramolecular photostabilizers were recently rediscovered as an effective approach to improve photophysical properties of organic fluorophores. Here, direct conjugation of triplet-state quenchers or redox-active substances creates high local concentrations of photostabilizer around the fluorophore. In this paper, we screen for effects of covalently linked photostabilizers on fluorescent proteins. We produced a double cysteine mutant (A206C/L221C) of α-GFP for attachment of photostabilizer-maleimides on the β-barrel near the chromophore. Whereas labelling with photostabilizers such as trolox, a nitrophenyl group, and cyclooctatetraene, which are often used for organic fluorophores, had no effect on α-GFP-photostability, a substantial increase of photostability was found upon conjugation to azobenzene. Although the mechanism of the photostabilizing effects remains to be elucidated, we speculate that the higher triplet-energy of azobenzene might be crucial for triplet-quenching of fluorophores in the blue spectral range. Our study paves the way for the development of fluorescent proteins with photostabilizers in the protein barrel by methods such as unnatural amino acid incorporation.  相似文献
