攀钢炼钢过程计算机系统应用分析

Update: microcomputer statistics packages. A personal view

1. There have been a number of recent commercial developments and new versions of microcomputer statistical software packages since the last review in December 1995. 2. New versions for Windows have been released: SPSS 7.0 (Windows 95), SYSTAT 6.0 (Windows 3.11, 95, NT) and MINITAB 11.0 (Windows 3.11, 95, NT). 3. The minimum requirements of microcomputer hardware to run the statistical packages under Windows now include 486 or Pentium processors and 16 Mb of RAM. 4. It is now clear to the reviewer that no package that operates under Windows can be recommended unless it is possible to execute analyses by commands as well as by menus. 5. The Internet is an important medium for disseminating information about forthcoming new versions of statistical software packages and about flaws in recently released versions of such packages.     

光谱分析数据采集与传输网络

介绍了基于ＷｉｎｄｏｗｓＮＴ网络和专用数据传输接口设备的光谱分析数据采集与传输网络,以及相应的软件和硬件设计方案;建立了一套临线和在线分析的数据采集、存储与传输的通用的新方法。解决了光谱仪串口数据格式的自动识别和工业环境下数据传输设备的抗干扰问题。专门设计的数据传输接口设备的传输距离可达３０００ｍ,端口数目可达３０个。采用星型网络拓扑结构,１０／１００ＢａｓｅＴＵＴＰ线缆连接,提供远程拨入和Ｉｎｔｅｒｎｅｔ连接,因此能够提供远程数据管理、远程系统维护以及基于局域网和Ｉｎｔｅｒｎｅｔ的二次开发和应用。结合工艺参数管理软件,不仅能够实现分析数据的现场显示,还能实现炼钢过程中合金化调整的加料计算和投料控制,从而实现冶炼过程的临界控制

The Internet, as a global computer network, provides opportunities to make available multimedia educational materials, such as teaching files and image databases, that can be accessed using "World-Wide Web" client browser to provide continuing medical education. Since August, 1995, at the Institute of Radiology-University of Palermo, we developed a World-Wide Web server on the Internet to provide a collection of interactive radiology educational resources such as teaching files and image database for continuing medical education in radiology. Our server is based on a UNIX workstation connected to the Internet via our campus Ethernet network and reachable at the uniform resource locator (URL) address: http:/(/)mbox.unipa.it/approximately radpa/ radpa.html. Digital CT and MR images for teaching files and image database are downloaded through an Ethernet local area network from a GE Advantage Windows workstation. US images will be acquired on-line through a video digitizing board. Radiographs will be digitized by means of a Charge Coupled Device (CCD) scanner. To set up teaching files, image database and all other documents, we use the standard "HyperText Markup Language" (HTML) to edit the documents, and the Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) or Joint Photographic Expert Group (JPEG) format to store the images. Nine teaching files are presently available on the server, together with 49 images in the database, a list of international radiological servers, a section devoted to the museum of radiology hosted by our Institute, the electronic version of the Journal Eido Electa. In the first 12 months of public access through the Internet, 12,280 users accessed the server worldwide: 45% of them to retrieve teaching files; 35% to retrieve images from the database; the remaining 20% to retrieve other documents. Placing teaching files and image database on a World-Wide Web server makes these cases more available to residents and radiologists to provide continuing medical education in radiology.     

The multimedia workstation, electronic assistant to the health care professional

The health professional multimedia workstation is the natural entry point to health and knowledge networks. It should allow an easy and transparent management of all the data necessary for patient management. Multimedia nature of processed information reflects evolution of medical techniques that involve more and more complex objects such as video sequences or digitized signals. Workstations can be considered from 3 points of view: the professional end-users, the developers and the decision makers. The long term goal for the end-user is to establish an easy access in a working environment, that gives him/her the feeling of a single comprehensive application running on a single computer when the information system relies on a set of heterogeneous and geographically distributed components. Development of a workstation requires the integration into the same environment of tools to localize, access, manipulate and communicate the required information within a health information network. Analysis of the 445 Medline-indexed publications for the January 1991 to December 1994 period, that included the word workstation either in their title or in their abstract, helps in refining objectives and challenges both for the health professionals and the decision makers.
