The interface energetics-modification plays an important role in improving the power conversion efficiency (PCE) among the perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Considering the low carrier mobility caused by defects in PSCs, a double-layer modification engineering strategy is adopted to introduce the “spiderman” NOBF4 (nitrosonium tetrafluoroborate) between tin dioxide (SnO2 and perovskite layers. NO+, as the interfacial bonding layer, can passivate the oxygen vacancy in SnO2, while BF4 can optimize the defects in the bulk of perovskite. This conclusion is confirmed by theoretical calculation and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The synergistic effect of NO+ and BF4 distinctly heightens the carrier extraction efficiency, and the PCE of PSCs is 24.04% with a fill factor (FF) of 82.98% and long-term stability. This study underlines the effectiveness of multifunctional additives in improving interface contact and enhancing PCE of PSCs.  相似文献

Efficient modification of the interface between metal cathode and electron transport layer are critical for achieving high performance and stability of the inverted perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Herein, a new alcohol-soluble rhodamine-functionalized dodecahydro-closo-dodecaborate derivate, RBH, is developed and applied as an efficient cathode interlayer to overcome the (6,6)-phenyl-C61 butyrie acid methyl ester (PCBM)/Ag interface issues. By introducing RBH cathode interlayer, the functions of the interface traps passivation, interfacial hydrophobicity enhancement, interface contact improvement as well as built-in potential enhancement are realized at the same time and thus correspondingly improve the device performance and stability. Consequently, a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 21.08% and high fill factor of 83.37% are achieved, which is one of the highest values based on solution-processed MAPbI3/PCBM heterojunction PSCs. Moreover, RBH can act as a shielding layer to slow down moisture erosion and self-corrosion. The PCE of the RBH devices still maintain 84% for 456 h (85 °C @ N2), 87% for 360 h (23 °C @ relative humidity (RH) 35%) of its initial PCE value, while the control device can only maintain ≈23%, 58% of its initial PCE value under the same exposure conditions, respectively.  相似文献

Colloidal lead sulfide (PbS) quantum dots (QDs), which possess quantum confinement effect and processing compatibility with perovskite, are regarded as an excellent material for optimizing perovskite solar cells (PSCs). However, the existing PSCs optimized by PbS QDs are still facing the challenges of poor performance of the charge transport layers, low utilization in the near-infrared (NIR) region, and unsuitable energy level alignment, which limit the improvement of power conversion efficiency (PCE). Herein, a synchronous optimization strategy is realized via simultaneously introducing PbS QDs into SnO2 electron transport layer and employing rare-earth-doped PbS QDs (Eu:PbS QDs) film with hydrophobic chain ligands as the NIR light-absorping layer and hole transport layer (HTL) of devices. PbS QDs effectively decrease the density of trap states by passivating defects. Eu:PbS QDs film with adjustable bandgap is employed as an absorption layer to broaden the NIR spectral absorption. The well-matched energy level between Eu:PbS QDs layer and perovskite layer implies efficient hole transfer at the interface. The successful synchronous optimization greatly elevates all photovoltaic parameters, reaching a maximum PCE of 23.27%. This PCE is the highest for PSCs utilizing PbS QDs material in recent years. The optimized PSCs retain long-term moisture and light stability.  相似文献

Polymer matrix is felicitously applied into the active layer and transporting layer of perovskite solar cells (PSCs) to enable a stretchable function. However, the chaotic deposition of polymer chains is the main cause for the inferior photoelectric performance. When the stretchable PSCs are in a working state, the stress cannot be removed effectively due to the random polymer chain deposition. The stress accumulation will cause irreversible damage to the stretchable PSCs. Herein, the structural bionics and patterned-meniscus coating technology are combined to print the polymer chain-oriented deposition in the stretchable PSCs. Based on this approach, the conducting polymer electrode is printed with both significant mechanical stability and conductivity. More importantly, the oriented polyurethane with self-healing property can enhance the crystal quality of perovskite films and repair perovskite cracks caused by stress destruction. Thus, the corresponding stretchable PSCs achieve a stabilized power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 20.04% (1.0 cm2) and 16.47% (9 cm2) with minor efficiency discrepancy. Notably, the stretchable PSCs can maintain 86% of the primitive PCE after 1000 cycles of bending with a stretch ratio of 30%. This directional growth of polymer chain strategy provides guidance for printing prominent-performance stretchable PSCs.  相似文献

Tin oxide (SnO2) is currently the dominating electron transport material (ETL) used in state-of-the-art perovskite solar cells (PSCs). However, there are amounts of defects distributed at the interface between ETL and perovskite to deteriorate PSC performance. Herein, a molecule bridging layer is built by incorporating 2,5-dichloroterephthalic acid (DCTPA) into the interface between the SnO2 and perovskites to achieve better energy level alignment and superior interfacial contact. The multifunctional molecular bridging layer not only can passivate the trap states of Sn dangling bonds and oxygen vacancies resulting in improved conductivity and the electron extraction of SnO2 but also can regulate the perovskite crystal growth and reduce defect-assisted nonradiative recombination due to its strong interaction with undercoordinated lead ions. As a result, the DCTPA-modified PSCs achieve champion power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) of 23.25% and 20.23% for an active area of 0.15 cm2 device and 17.52 cm2 mini-module, respectively. Moreover, the perovskite films and PSCs based on DCTPA modification show excellent long-term stability. The unencapsulated target device can maintain over 90% of the initial PCE after 1000 h under ambient air. This strategy guides design methods of molecule bridging layer at the interface between SnO2 and perovskite to improve the performance of PSCs .  相似文献

3D organic–inorganic lead halide perovskites have shown great potential in efficient photovoltaic devices. However, the low stability of the 3D perovskite layer and random arrangement of the perovskite crystals hinder its commercialization road. Herein, a highly oriented 2D@3D ((AVA)2PbI4@MAPbI3) perovskite structure combining the advantages of both 2D and 3D perovskite is fabricated through an in situ route. The highest power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 18.0% is observed from a 2D@3D perovskite solar cell (PSC), and it also shows significantly enhanced device stability under both inert (90% of initial PCE for 32 d) and ambient conditions (72% of initial PCE for 20 d) without encapsulation. The high efficiency of 18.0% and nearly twofold improvement of device stability in ambient compared with pure 3D PSCs confirm that such 2D@3D perovskite structure is an effective strategy for high performance and increasing stability and thus will enable the timely commercialization of PSCs.  相似文献

High density of defects at interface severely affects the performance of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Herein, cobalt (II) hexafluoro-2,4-pentanedionat (CoFAc), a hinge-type fluorine-rich complex, is introduced onto the surface of formamidinium cesium lead iodide (FACsPbI3) film to address the issues of perovskite/Spiro-OMeTAD interface. The existence of CoFAc passivates both organic cation and halide anion vacancies by establishing powerful hydrogen bonds with HC(NH2)2+ (FA+) and strong ionic bonds with Pb2+ in perovskite films. In addition, CoFAc serves as a connecting link to enhance interfacial hole-transport kinetics via interacting with Spiro-OMeTAD. Consequently, FACsPbI3 PSCs with CoFAc modification display a champion power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 24.64% with a charming open-circuit voltage (VOC) of 1.191 V, which is the record VOC among all the reported organic-inorganic hybrid PSCs with TiO2 as electron transport layer. Furthermore, CoFAc-modified devices exhibit an outstanding long-term stability, which can maintain 95% of their initial PCEs after exposure to ambient atmosphere for 1500 h without any encapsulation.  相似文献

In perovskite solar cells (PSCs), the buried interface containing high concentrations of defects is critical for efficient charge extraction toward high-performance device. Herein, porous organic cage (POC) is introduced between tin dioxide and perovskite to spontaneously reconstitute the buried interface. Through the chemical linkage formed by polydentate chelation of POC with SnO2 and perovskite, the buried interface achieves greatly reduced defect density and enhanced carrier extraction. More importantly, it is found that iodide ions in aged devices to migrate down to the electron transport layer and even invade the ITO electrode, changing the work function of ITO. This detrimental effect can be well resolved by POC since the host-guest interaction of POC can effectively suppress the iodide ions trying to migrate downward. As a result, the PSC fabricated by POC-restructured strategy yields a superior PCE of 24.13%. Moreover, the unencapsulated PSCs exhibit conspicuous improved long-term stability and retain 93% of its initial efficiency after 5000 h in ambient condition.  相似文献

The grain boundaries (GBs)/surface defects within perovskite film directly impede the further improvement of photoelectric conversion efficiency (PCE) and stability of planar perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Herein, 3D phytic acid (PA) and phytic acid dipotassium (PAD) with polydentate are explored to synchronously passivate the defects of perovskite absorber directly in multiple spatial directions. The strong electron-donating groups ( H2PO4) in the PA molecule afford six anchor sites to bind firmly with uncoordinated Pb2+ at the GBs/surface and modulate perovskite crystallization, thus enhancing the quality of perovskite film. Particularly, PAD containing an additional (K→PO) push–pull structure promotes the dominant coordination of phosphate group (PO) with Pb2+ and passivates halide anion defects due to the complexation of potassium ions (K+) with iodide ions (I-). Consequently, the PAD-complexed PSCs deliver a champion PCE of 23.18%, which is remarkably higher than that of the control device (19.94%). Meanwhile, PAD-complexed PSCs exhibit superior moisture and thermal stability, remaining 79% of their initial PCE after 1000 h under continuous illumination, while the control device remain only 48% of their PCE after 1000 h. This work provides important insights into designing multifunctional 3D passivators for the purpose of simultaneously enhancing the efficiency and stability of devices.  相似文献

As the power-conversion efficiency (PCE) of organic–inorganic lead halide perovskite solar cells (PSCs) is approaching the theoretical maximum, the most crucial issue concerns long-term ambient stability. Here, the application of PCN-224 quantum dots (QDs) is reported, a typical Zr-based porphyrinic metal–organic framework (MOF), to enhance the ambient stability of PSCs. PCN-224 QDs with abundant Lewis-base groups (e.g., CO, C−N, CN) contribute to high-quality perovskite films with enlarged grain size and reduced defect density by interaction with under-coordinated Pb2+. Meanwhile, PCN-224 QDs enable the well-matched energy level at the perovskite/hole transport layer (HTL) interface, thereby facilitating hole extraction and transport. More importantly, PCN-224 QDs-treated HTL can capture Li+ from bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide additive, leading to the reduced aggregation and less direct contact with moisture for hygroscopic Li-TFSI. Moreover, PCN-224 QDs mitigated Li+ ion migration into the perovskite layer, thus avoiding the formation of deleterious defects. The resultant devices yield a champion PCE of 22.51%, along with substantially improved durability, including humidity, thermal and light soaking stabilities. The findings provide a new approach toward efficient and stable PSCs by applying MOF QDs.  相似文献

Perovskite solar cell (PSC) has attracted great attention due to its high power conversion efficiency (PCE), low cost and solution processability. The well-designed interface and the modification of electron transport layer (ETL) are critical to the PCE and long-term stability of PSCs. In this article, a fused-ring electron acceptor is employed as the interfacial material between TiO2 and the perovskite in rigid and flexible PSCs. The modification improves the surface of TiO2, which decreases the defects of ETL surface. Moreover, the modified surface has lower hydrophilicity, and thus is beneficial to the growth of perovskite with large grain size and high quality. As a result, the interfacial charge transfer is promoted and the interfacial charge recombination can be suppressed. The highest PCE of 19.61% is achieved for the rigid PSCs after the introduction of ITIC, and the hysteresis effect is significantly reduced. Flexible PSC with ITIC obtains a PCE of 14.87%, and the device stability is greatly improved. This study provides an efficient candidate as the interfacial modifier for PSCs, which is compatible with low-temperature solution process and has a great practical potential for the commercialization of PSCs.  相似文献

Organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have rapidly developed over the past decade and have achieved the latest certified power conversion efficiency (PCE) up to 25.5%. However, unsatisfactory long-term operational stability for these hybrid PSCs remains a huge obstacle to further development and commercialization. Herein, a unique hetero-structured CsPbI3/CaF2 perovskite/fluoride nanocomposites (PFNCs) is fabricated via a newly developed facile two-step hetero-epitaxial growth strategy to deliver efficient and ultra-stable PSCs. After being incorporated into the crystal lattice of α-phase CsPbI3 perovskite, the cubic-phase CaF2 in the resultant CsPbI3/CaF2 PFNCs can not only passivate the intrinsic defects of CsPbI3 perovskite itself but also effectively suppress the notorious ion migration in hybrid perovskite Cs0.05FA0.81MA0.14PbI2.55Br0.45 (CsFAMA) thin-films of PSCs. As such, the CsFAMA PSC devices based on CsPbI3/CaF2-deposited perovskite thin-film achieve a mean PCE of 20.45%, in sharp contrast to 19.33% of the control devices without deposition. Specifically, the CsPbI3/CaF2-deposited PSC retains 85% of its original PCE after 1000 h continuous operation at the maximum power point under AM 1.5G solar light, far better than those of the control and CsPbI3-deposited PSCs with a device T85 lifetime of 315 and 125 h, respectively.  相似文献

Despite the rapid developments are achieved for perovskite solar cells (PSCs), the existence of various defects in the devices still limits the further enhancement of the power conversion efficiency (PCE) and the long-term stability of devices. Herein, the efficient organic potassium salt (OPS) of para-halogenated phenyl trifluoroborates is presented as the precursor additives to improve the performance of PSCs. Studies have shown that the 4-chlorophenyltrifluoroborate potassium salt (4-ClPTFBK) exhibits the most effective interaction with the perovskite lattice. Strong coordination between  BF3/halogen in anion and uncoordinated Pb2+/halide vacancies, along with the hydrogen bond between F in  BF3 and H in FA+ are observed. Thus, due to the synergistic contribution of the potassium and anionic groups, the high-quality perovskite film with large grain size and low defect density is achieved. As a result, the optimal devices show an enhanced efficiency of 24.50%, much higher than that of the control device (22.63%). Furthermore, the unencapsulated devices present remarkable thermal and long-term stability, maintaining 86% of the initial PCE after thermal test at 80 °C for 1000 h and 95% after storage in the air for 2460 h.  相似文献

All-inorganic perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have been the research focus due to their high thermal stability and proper band gap for tandem solar cells. However, their power conversion efficiency (PCE) is still lower than that of organic-inorganic hybrid PSCs. Herein, a sacrificing dye (Rhodamine B isothiocyanate, RBITC) is developed to regulate the growth of perovskite film by in situ release of ethylammonium cations, isothiocyanate anions and benzoic acid molecules upon annealing and illumination. The ethylammonium cations can efficiently passivate surface defects. The isothiocyanate anions incorporate with uncoordinated Pb to regulate the crystallization process. The benzoic acid molecules facilitate the nucleation of the perovskite crystals. Especially, the illumination can accelerate the release of these beneficial ions/molecules to improve the quality of perovskite films further. After optimization with RBITC, a high open circuit voltage (VOC) of 1.24 V and a champion PCE of 20.95% are obtained, which are among the highest Voc and PCE values of CsPbI3 PSCs. Accordingly, the operational stability of the PSC devices is significantly improved. The results provide an efficient chemical strategy to regulate the formation of perovskite films in whole crystallization process for high performance all-inorganic PSCs.  相似文献

Inorganic CsPbIxBr3−x perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have gained enormous interest due to their excellent thermal stabilities. However, their intrinsically poor moisture stability hampers their further development. Herein, a chromium-based metal–organic framework group is intercalated inside the inorganic Pb I framework, resulting in a new multiple-dimensional electronically coupled CsPbI2Br perovskite. In this structurally and electronically coupled perovskite, the π-conjugated terpyridyl can delocalize the excited valence electrons of metal Cr3+ ion, enabling multi-interactive charge-carrier transport channels within CsPbI2Br perovskites. The stability and efficiency of the produced devices are substantially enhanced in comparison to their counterparts with only a pristine CsPbI2Br active layer. The optimized all-inorganic PSC yields a power conversion efficiency (PCE) as high as 17.02%. Remarkably, the stabilized device retains 80% of its PCE after 1000 h in the ambient atmosphere. This study provides a new paradigm toward addressing the stability challenge of the inorganic perovskite while enhancing its carrier transport ability.  相似文献

In this paper, double-layered hole transport material (HTM) was designed and fabricated by adding a thin CuInS2 film between perovskite and Spiro-OMeTAD (Spiro) layers. The power conversion efficiency (PCE) of the perovskite solar cells (PSCs) with double-layered HTM of CuInS2/Spiro was improved to 19.63% from 17.97% for the devices with pure Spiro. Moreover, the operational stability of the PSCs with double-layered HTM of CuInS2/Spiro was enhanced. The PCE of the PSCs with CuInS2/Spiro retains 91% of the initial value after 30 days storage in ambient atmosphere. The experimental results indicate that the improved performance could be come from the energy band match between CuInS2 and Spiro, fast hole extraction and transport, and decreased charge recombination in the PSCs with double-layered HTM of CuInS2/Spiro. This work provides a promising prospect to design a low-cost and high stability HTM for commercial PSCs.  相似文献

Although outstanding power conversion efficiency (PCE) has been achieved in flexible perovskite solar cells, unsatisfactory operational stability and toxicity caused by the moisture transmittance of polymer packaging are still the bottleneck challenges that limit their applications. Herein, inspired by the non-selective permeability of inactivated cell membrane, the diphosphatidyl-glycerol (Di-g) is tactfully introduced as a self-shield interface upon the perovskite layer. 96% of lead leakage is suppressed because the amphipathic Di-g can simultaneously bind tightly to the divalent lead ion and afford an interfacial water-resistance. More importantly, the gradient distribution of lattice residual stress perpendicular to the substrate are optimized. The resultant flexible devices achieve a PCE of 20.29% and 15.01% at effective areas of 1.01 and 21.82 cm2 respectively, yielding excellent environmental and mechanical stability. This strategy exhibits the feasibility of developing interfacial encapsulation to stabilize scalable PSCs with negligible lead leakage.  相似文献

The improvement of power conversion efficiency (PCE) and stability of the perovskite solar cell (PSC) is hindered by carrier recombination originating from the defects at the buried interface of the PSC. It is crucial to suppress the nonradiative recombination and facilitate carrier transfer in PSC via interface engineering. Herein, P-biguanylbenzoic acid hydrochloride (PBGH) is developed to modify the tin oxide (SnO2)/perovskite interface. The effects of PBGH on carrier transportation, perovskite growth, defect passivation, and PSC performance are systematically investigated. On the one hand, the PBGH can effectively passivate the trap states of Sn dangling bonds and O vacancies on the SnO2 surface via Lewis acid/base coordination, which is conducive to improving the conductivity of SnO2 film and accelerating the electron extraction. On the other hand, PBGH modification assists the formation of high-quality perovskite film with low defect density due to its strong interaction with PbI2. Consequently, the PBGH-modified PSC exhibits a champion power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 24.79%, which is one of the highest PCEs among all the FACsPbI3-based PSCs reported to date. In addition, the stabilities of perovskite films and devices under high temperature/humidity and light illumination conditions are also systematically studied.  相似文献

Hole transfer material (HTM)-free, carbon-based all-inorganic perovskite solar cells (C-PSCs) are promising alternatives to conventional organic–inorganic hybrid PSCs in addressing thermal and moisture instability issues. However, the energy level mismatch between the inorganic perovskite and carbon electrode coupled, together with the incapability of the carbon electrode to reflect incident light for reabsorption, limits the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of C-PSCs. To address these issues, herein, a new strategy of a hexyltrimethylammonium bromide (HTAB)-modified CsPbI2Br perovskite surface is devised to reduce this energy offset from 0.70 to 0.32 eV and increase the built-in potential by 70 mV for the final devices. Additionally, a CsPbI2Br perovskite film with a thickness of up to 800 nm is realized via a hot-flow-assisted spin coating approach in an ambient atmosphere with humidity of less than 80%. Reduced energy offset coupled with suppressed charge recombination and thick perovskite layer boosts the champion PCE of CsPbI2Br C-PSCs to 14.3% (Jsc = 14.1 mA cm−2, Voc = 1.26 V, and fill factor = 0.806), and the average PCE to 13.9% under one sun illumination. A new certified efficiency record of 14.0% is obtained for HTM-free inorganic C-PSCs. Meanwhile, the moisture-resistant barrier from the alkyl chain in HTAB improves the stability of the final devices.  相似文献

The control of film morphology is crucial in achieving high‐performance perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Herein, the crystals of the perovskite films are reconstructed by post‐treating the MAPbI3 devices with methylamine gas, yielding a homogeneous nucleation and crystallization of the perovskite in the triple mesoscopic inorganic layers structured PSCs. As a result, a uniform, compact, and crystalline perovskite layer is obtained after the methylamine gas post‐treatment, yielding high power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 15.26%, 128.8% higher than that of the device before processing. More importantly, this post‐treatment process allows the regeneration of the photodegraded PSCs via the crystal reconstruction and the PCE can recover to 91% of the initial value after two cycles of the photodegradation‐recovery process. This simple method allows for the regeneration of perovskite solar cells on site without reconstruction or replacing any components, thus prolonging the service life of the perovskite solar cells and distinguishing from any other photovoltaic devices in practice.  相似文献
