Experiments were conducted to investigate the flow characteristics in the riser pipe and the suction pipe of airlift pump at a series of air flow rates and submergence ratios by using a high speed camcorder and a Laser Doppler Velocimetry system(LDV). A modified model was developed to predict the performance of airlift pump operating in gas-liquid two-phase flow. The results show that an unstable flow structure composed by a water falling film,a bubbly mixture, a water ascending film appearing alternately in riser pipe dominates the performance of airlift pump at large air flow rates. The bubbly mixture with a strongest capacity for pumping water first increases to its maximum and then slightly decreases. In suction pipe, the average velocity shows a flat profile and increases with increasing submergence ratio. Moreover, the predicted results of modified model are in good agreement with the experimental data in a margin of ± 12%.  相似文献

The reverse flow diverter (RFD) consisting of a nozzle and a diffuser is a key component in pneumatic pulse jet pumps. We investigated the effects of suction gap and diffuser configurations on RFD performance during the reverse flow mode. Three suction gap configurations were examined: (1) an axisymmetrical cylinder, (2) a cuboid whose bottom plane had no half-circle groove and was level with the diffuser entrance lower border, and (3) a cuboid with a half-circle groove on the bottom plane. Among them, the second one resulted in the highest RFD pumping capacity. The effect of receiver presence before the diffuser was also examined. RFD pumping efficiency was found to be enhanced in the presence of a receiver before the diffuser when the suction gap length is small and the jet outlet velocity at the nozzle exit is high enough. Based on experimental data, a dimensionless performance curve of the suction factor q versus the ratio of Euler numbers in sections out-out and 0-0 Eu out /Eu 0 was derived. The design method of small-flow high-head centrifugal-vortex pump was presented. This pump, configured with inducer, complex-centrifugal impeller and open-vortex impeller, was put forward to deliver gas-liquid two-phase mixture. An HTB-5/60 type sample pump was developed and tested on a closed-loop test rig. Experimental studies on performance and cavitation tests for gas-liquid two-phase mixture were carried out compared with pure-water experimental results. Also the effect of gas phase on pump was analyzed and discussed. The experimental results show that performance and cavitation characteristics of the sample purnp deteriorates progressively with increasing volume fraction of gas. When the total capacity Qm is between 4.5 m^3·h^-1 and 6 m^3·h^-1 and the gas flow rate qg below 0.66 m^3·h^-1, or qg/Qm is lower than 15%, the characteristic curves are approximately parallel to those in pure water test, but the performance deteriorates sharply until an abrupt flow-cutting at a critical volume fraction of gas. This pump is found suitable for transporting gas-liquid two-phase mixture when working around rated capacity of 5 m^3·h^-1 with qglQm below 15%.  相似文献

A liquid solid semi-moving bed with non-mechanical particle transport system is proposed and used for fractionation of cesium ion in wastewater. The particle transport system, which consists of a suction chamber, a mixing chamber, a nozzle and a riser tube, is designed to be controlled completely by hydraulic force. Experiments show that continuous feeding and discharging of resin can be realized by the transport system. The removal of cesium ion from wastewater is realized, The concentration of cesium ion in effluent liquid remains below 0,1g·L^-1 (the initial concentration is 5,3g·L^-1) during the 73 hours' experiment. The average exchange capacity of resin discharged from the bed is 0.57mmol,(g dry resin)^-1, which is close to the saturated capacity of 0.65mmol·g^-1. And it is also proved that the non-homogeneity of particle vertical velocity along the radial direction can seriously influence the ion-exchange process.  相似文献

Improving the suction performance of centrifugal pumps by using jetting device is presented. The theoretical analysis, experimental study and engineering implementation show that suction performance of centrifugal pump can be improved with jetting device and be used for delivering the liquid media requiring high suction performance, whereas the efficiency and head of the pump will decrease a little. The effect of feed-back jetting on suction performance is the most obvious at design point. The suitable rate of feed-back flow is 2%-5%.  相似文献

Ultra-fine powders are difficult to be fluidized due to the strong particle to particle cohesiveness.However, the authors‘ experiments showed that the ultra-fine powder CaCO3 could be stably fluidized in a spouted bed with a draft tube. The effects of geometric and operating parameters on solid circulation rate of ultra-fine powder CaCO3 were investigated in a 120 mm diameter transparent semicircular spouted bed with a draft tube. Three draft tubes with different sizes were used in this study. It was found that the solids circulation rate was mainly dependent on the drawing rate of the gas jet from the nozzle, then on the gas transport capacity in the draft tube. With increasing gas feed rate, distance between the nozzle and the draft tube inlet and draft tube diameter, the solids circulation rate could be increased. Based on the jet theory, a quantitative correlation was proposed for predicting the solid circulation rate of ultra-fine powders in a spouted bed with a draft tube by taking into account the gas transport capacity in the draft tube.  相似文献

he hydrodynamics and solids mixing behavior in a riser with blunt internals are studied. A uniform radial distribution for solids fraction and particle velocity achieves near the internals. The turbulent velocity of particles near the wall increases with the addition of the internals, with the lateral solids mixing enhanced significantly. Probability density distribution of particle velocity is bimodal in the riser with internals, which is similar to that in the conventional riser, indicating that no significant difference in the micro flow structure exists between the riser with internals and the conventional riser. At the same time, the axial solids mixing behavior changes insignificantly with the addition of internals. These results indicate that the micro flow structure in the riser is very stable, which changes insignificantly with the change of the bed structure.  相似文献

The kinetic theory of granular flow (KTGF) is modified to fit the Einstein′s equation for effective viscosity of dilute flow. A pseudo-fluid approach based on this modified KTGF is used to simulate the dynamic formation and dissipation of clusters in a circulating fluidized bed riser. The agglomeration of particles reduces slip velocity within particle clusters, and hence results in two reverse trends: discrete particles are lifted by air while particle clusters fall down along the wall. The dynamic equilibrium of these two types of motion leads to the characteristic sigmoid profile of solid concentration along the longitudinal direction. The predicted solid velocity, lateral and longitudinal profiles of solid volume fraction and annulus thickness are in reasonable agreement with experimental results.  相似文献

The paper presents an experimental investigation on enhanced heat transfer and pressure loss characteristics by using single, double, triple, and quadruple twisted-tape inserts in a round tube having a uniform heat-fluxed wal . The investigation has been conducted in the heat exchanger tube inserted with various twisted-tape numbers for co-and counter-twist arrangements for the turbulent air flow, Reynolds number (Re) from 5300 to 24000. The typical single twisted-tape inserts at two twist ratios, y/w=4 and 5, are used as the base case, while the other multiple twisted-tape inserts are at y/w=4 only. The experimental results of heat transfer and pressure drop in terms of Nusselt number (Nu) and friction factor (f), respectively, reveal that Nu increases with the increment of Re and of twisted-tape number. The values of Nu for the inserted tube are in a range of 1.15–2.12 times that for the plain tube while f is 1.9–4.1 times. The thermal enhancement factor of the inserted tube under similar pumping power is evaluated and found to be above unity except for the single and the double co-twisted tapes. The quadruple counter-twisted tape insert provides the maximum thermal performance.  相似文献

利用由高速数字摄影设备及大功率激光构成的测试系统在一截面为200 mm×200 mm、高为4 m的冷态循环流化床实验台上进行了床内颗粒旋转特性的实验研究.对在距布风板3.54 m高度的稀相区的1/4截面内13个测试点拍摄获得的图像序列利用Matlab、PhotoShop和ACDSee软件进行分析处理,采用人工直接判别获得颗粒转速,用双帧频验证法进行颗粒转速校验.结果表明:循环流化床气固两相流中固相颗粒普遍存在旋转现象,截面边壁区内的颗粒平均转速高于中心区域;粒径小或径向速度大的颗粒,其平均转速较大,反之亦然;不规则颗粒的平均转速明显高于球[JP2]形颗粒;当空截面气体速度Vg=5 m•s-1,固体质量循环流率Gs=1.5 kg•m-2•s-1,玻璃珠颗粒平均粒径dp=0.5 mm时,颗粒转速最高可达2000 r•s-1,平均转速300 r•s-1.  相似文献

密相输送床气化和双流化床气化是基于循环型流化床反应器发展起来的两种新型煤和生物质气化技术,根据这两种技术对流动的要求,提出了在循环流化床的下行床底部耦合一段移动床,为输送床内的流动提供足够高的驱动压力而提高颗粒循环量的技术思想。在根据该思想而建立的直径90 mm的输送床实验装置上的实验研究表明,利用所提出的床型构造可在表观气速9.6 m•s-1下实现400 kg•m-2•s-1的颗粒循环量。输送床的一次风速和移动床松动风速是影响颗粒循环量和输送床内颗粒浓度的主要因素,但循环量随输送床一次风速的增大而增加的走势弱于普通循环流化床。移动床松动风速在小于颗粒最小流化速度的范围内轻微变动即可显著改变颗粒循环量和输送床内颗粒浓度。在保持输送床总气速不变的前提下,通过二次风可在40%的比例范围内调节颗粒循环量,且调节作用随二次风位置的增高而减弱。  相似文献

为了克服锌精矿颗粒在浸出液中的聚团问题,减少有机溶剂的夹带损失,采用表面活性剂海藻酸钠对锌精矿进行表面改性研究.利用分散性实验、测定吸油率、红外光谱(FT-IR)、X射线电子能谱(XPS)等测试方法对改性前后的锌精矿进行了分析和表征.实验结果表明,改性后的锌精矿颗粒在水中表现出良好的分散性.沉降体积由0.85 ml•g-1降至0.70 ml•g-1,吸油率由0.15 ml•g-1降至0.07 ml•g-1.对改性前后锌精矿的IR谱和XPS能谱图的分析表明,改性后的锌精矿颗粒表面包覆了一层改性剂,改性剂以化学键结合于矿粒表面,对矿粒产生静电和位阻的复合稳定作用.  相似文献

Determination of probable mechanism function and kinetic parameters is important to hydrometallurgical kinetics.In this work,the most probable mechanism function and kinetic parameters of gibbsite dissolution in NaOH solution are studied.The sample,the mixture of synthetic gibbsite and sodium hydroxide solution,was scanned in high-pressure differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) equipment with the heating rate of 10 K·min-1. Integral equation and differential equation of non-isothermal kinetics were solved to fit the data related to DSC curve.According to the calculation results,the most probable mechanism function for pure synthetic gibbsite dissolution in sodium hydroxide solution is presented based on the optimum procedure in the database of the mechanism function.The apparent activation energy obtained is(75±1) kJ·mol-1,the frequency factor is 10 8±1mol·s-1,and the reaction is a second order reaction.  相似文献

采用边壁补气模拟重油催化裂化提升管反应装置中气体的膨胀行为,通过比较直管型提升管和锥型提升管中的气–固流动行为,研究了锥形提升管结构对油气膨胀所带来的流动特征变化的适应与改善. 实验结果表明,相对于直管型提升管,锥型提升管对流化气量的变化有较好的适应能力,且能有效地改善床层内的颗粒速度、空隙率的径向分布以及压力的轴向分布.  相似文献

The effects of L-cysteine concentration on biohydrogen production by Enterobacterium Bacterium M580 were investigated in batch cultivation.The experimental results showed that L-cysteine could enhance the cell growth,hydrogen production rate and hydrogen yield when its concentration was less than 500 mg·L-1,while it had negative effects when its concentration was higher than 500 mg·L-1.The hydrogen production was the highest 1.29 mol·mol-1(H2/glucose) when 300 mg·L-1L-cysteine was added into the culture,and the yield was 9.4% higher than that in the control.The oxidation-reduction potential(ORP) ,which was influenced by L-cysteine,also affected hydrogen production.The ORP values were in the range-300 mV to-150 mV when the L-cysteine concentration was higher than 500 mg·L-1.Although the ORP in this range was favorable for hydrogen production,it was not suitable for the biomass growth.Hence,less hydrogen was produced.When the L-cysteine concentration was lower than 500 mg·L-1,the ORP was more suitable for both biomass growth and hydrogen production.In addition,at least 91%glucose was consumed when L-cysteine was added to the culture media,compared to the 97.37% consumption without L-cysteine added.  相似文献

The adsorption equilibrium of a fluoride solution on 1-2 mm granular activated alumina modified by Fe2(SO4)3 solution was investigated. The experiments were conducted using a wide range of initial fluoride concentrations (0.5 to 180 mg•L1 at pH ~7.0) and an adsorbent dose of 1.0 g•L1. The application of Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption isotherm models (linear and nonlinear forms) generally showed that a single Langmuir or Freundlich equation cannot fit the entire concentration gap. Experimental data on low equilibrium concentrations (0.1 to 5.0 mg•L1) was in line with both Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models, whereas that of high equilibrium concentrations (5.0 to 150 mg•L1) was more in line with the Freundlich isotherm model. A new Langmuir- Freundlich function was used for the entire concentration gap, as well as for low and high concentrations.  相似文献

Considering limited success in target-hitting discharge from alcohol industry, our attention was directed toward a recycling use of distillery spentwash (DS) in cassava bioethanol production by using a two-stage up-flow anaerobic sludge blanket bioremediation (TS-UASBB). With the TS-UASBB, , COD, N and P in the effluent from the DS degraded significantly and their concentrations were kept at 0.2 g•L1, 2.0 g•L1, 1.0 g•L1 and 15 mg•L1, respectively, in 13 batch processes for water-recycled ethanol fermentation. With the effluent used directly as dilution water, no heat-resistant bacteria were found alive. The thirteen-batch ethanol production individually achieved 10% after 48 h fermentation. The starch utilization ratio and total sugar consumption were 90% and 99.5%, respectively. The novel water-recycled bioethanol production process with ethanol fermentation and TS-UASBB has a considerable potential in other starchy and cellulosic ethanol production.  相似文献
