In this paper, a simple asymptotic method to compute wave propagation in a multilayered general anisotropic piezoelectric medium is discussed. The method is based on explicit second and higher order asymptotic representations of the transfer and stiffness matrices for a thin piezoelectric layer. Different orders of the asymptotic expansion are obtained using Padé approximation of the transfer matrix exponent. The total transfer and stiffness matrices for thick layers or multilayers are calculated with high precision by subdividing them into thin sublayers and combining recursively the thin layer transfer and stiffness matrices. The rate of convergence to the exact solution is the same for both transfer and stiffness matrices; however, it is shown that the growth rate of the round-off error with the number of recursive operations for the stiffness matrix is twice that for the transfer matrix; and the stiffness matrix method has better performance for a thick layer. To combine the advantages of both methods, a hybrid method which uses the transfer matrix for the thin layer and the stiffness matrix for the thick layer is proposed. It is shown that the hybrid method has the same stability as the stiffness matrix method and the same round-off error as the transfer matrix method. The method converges to the exact transfer/stiffness matrices essentially with the precision of the computer round-off error. To apply the method to a semispace substrate, the substrate was replaced by an artificial perfect matching layer. The computational results for such an equivalent system are identical with those for the actual system. In our computational experiments, we have found that the advantage of the asymptotic method is its simplicity and efficiency.  相似文献

A contact model between a homogeneous half-space with a linearly graded layer and a rigid punch is proposed and studied in the present paper. The governing equation, which describes the relation of the displacements and the normal tractions at the contact interface, is obtained by means of Fourier transform and a transfer matrix method. Appropriate collocation methods are used in order to solve the equation numerically. Singular behaviors at the edge of a flat punch are revealed. Compared to the case with a graded surface varying according to an exponential law, stress concentration is relatively weaker in the case with the graded surface varying according to a linear law. Furthermore, stress distributions in cases of a flat or cylindrical punch are given for different varying graded laws, thickness of graded layer, ratios of stiffness, and frictional coefficients. All the results are helpful for the design of strong and wear resistance coating surfaces.  相似文献

The propagation of Love waves in a smart functionally graded piezoelectric structure is analyzed by applying elastic wave theory. There is an additional functionally graded layer between the piezoelectric layer and the substrate in this smart structure. When the piezoelectric and dielectric constants vary individually in a functionally graded layer, the asymptotic solutions of Love waves are obtained by applying the WKB method and solving the fourth order differential equation with variable coefficients. The effects of gradient variation on the phase velocity and the coupled electromechanical factor are discussed in detail. The analysis shows that the number of vibration modes is greater than that in the non-graded layer structure, and the coupled electromechanical factor increases with the increase of piezoelectric constant graded variation. Presented results are useful for the improvement of properties of surface acoustic wave (SAW) devices.  相似文献

对均匀各向同性弹性半平面上覆盖一层功能梯度材料中存在的Love波的频散问题进行了研究,给出了Love波频散方程的一般形式。利用WKBJ近似理论,给出了功能梯度材料层的位移、应力近似解析解,导出了Love波WKBJ近似频散方程的一般形式。该文以功能梯度材料层的剪切弹性模量和质量密度沿厚度方向均为指数函数变化为例,进行了实例计算和分析,给出了频散曲线,讨论了Love波在功能梯度材料覆盖层弹性半平面中传播的一般性质。这些结论对无损检测和反问题分析方法的改进提供理论依据。  相似文献

水平岩层在构造作用下会产生局部褶皱,研究褶皱对层状地基马蹄形孔洞散射的影响,对地表结构地震安全性评价具有重要意义。基于子结构法建立了复杂场地散射问题的控制方程,将地震波散射问题的求解转化具有规则边界条件的层状地基(自由场)的动力刚度和波动响应的求解。通过Fourier变换和引入对偶变量,将波动方程转化为一阶常微分方程,采用精细积分算法对土层可实现高效合并,施加边界条件可得到内部节点的格林函数,进一步得到动力刚度。同时,采用精细积分算法代替原传递矩阵法的层间合并,可得到层状自由场的波动响应。这种改进传递矩阵法对土层厚度和层数没有任何限制。通过与文献中的结果对比,验证了方法的正确性,并分析了局部褶皱对层状地基中马蹄形孔洞散射场的影响。结果表明:局部褶皱对地表位移幅值的影响与入射波类型、入射波频率以及局部褶皱几何构造等因素均有关系;地表位移峰值受马蹄形孔洞和局部褶皱共同作用的影响,其影响特性与入射波类型无明显关系。  相似文献

基于非饱和多孔介质的波动方程,考虑了土中水,气体与土骨架之间的粘性耦合作用,建立了弹性半空间上非饱和土层中Love波的弥散方程。首先分析了饱和度与频率对非饱和孔隙介质中剪切波速的影响。然后运用数值方法得到了不同饱和度下土层中多种Love模态波的弥散特性和位移分布情况,并用图表的形式给出。数值计算结果表明,上覆非饱和土层中Love波的传播速度和衰减系数不仅具有频散性,而且与土层的饱和度有关。在不同饱和度时的高模态(n≥2)的Love波的截止频率值不同。此外,讨论了饱和度对Love波水平位移幅值的影响。  相似文献

The paper presents a study of propagation of Love waves in a poroelastic layer resting over a poro-elastic half-space. Pores contain nothing of mechanical or energetic significance. The study reveals that such a medium transmits two types of love waves. The first front depends upon the modulus of rigidity of the elastic matrix of the medium and is the same as the love wave in an elastic layer over an elastic half-space. The second front depends upon the change in volume fraction of the pores. As the first front is well-known, the second front has been investigated numerically for different values of void parameters. It is observed that the second front is many times faster than the shear wave in the void medium due to change in volume fraction of the pores and is significant  相似文献

为了揭示周期结构中纵向波和弯曲波的耦合作用,设计了对称和非对称周期结构。考虑子结构中的纵向和弯曲耦合运动,利用导纳法和传递矩阵法,得到了周期单元的传递方程。由于结构中存在多种波的耦合作用,在求解周期单元的传播系数时将出现变态矩阵,采用波型分组法,求得了周期结构中多种波型的传播系数。推导了半无限长和有限长周期结构在纵向力、横向力和弯矩作用下的动态响应。数值计算结果表明,对称周期结构中纵向波和弯曲波的带隙结构相互独立;非对称周期结构中纵向波和弯曲波的耦合明显改变了两种波的带隙结构,只有在两种波阻带重叠的频段内结构上的振动响应才存在衰减。  相似文献

This paper presents an efficient and stable recursive compliance matrix method for analyzing wave propagation in multilayered piezoelectric media. The effective permittivity and generalized Green's functions for a layered system, a layered system on a substrate, and a layered system between two substrates have been obtained from the elements of the total or surface compliance/stiffness matrices, which are calculated recursively, layer by layer, from the layer compliance/stiffness matrices. The method is very closely related to the transfer matrix method and retains its simplicity and efficiency, but it is numerically stable for high thickness-to-wavelength ratio. Numerical examples for wave propagation in zinc oxide (ZnO)/Diamond/silicon(Si) structures are presented using the compliance matrix formulation for effective permittivity and Green's function.  相似文献

Dispersion of Rayleigh-type surface waves is studied in a sandy layer under a uniform layer of homogeneous liquid lying over liquid-saturated porous solid half-space. The frequency equation in the form of a ninth-order determinant is obtained and evaluated. Within the framework of the piecewise homogeneous body model with the use of the three-dimensional linearized theory of elastic waves in initially stressed bodies (TLTEWISB), the dynamical (time-harmonic) stress field in the initially finite strained half-space covered with an initially and finitely stretched layer is investigated. It is assumed that on the upper free face of the covering layer the point located force which acts is harmonic with respect to time. The corresponding boundary contact problem is solved by employing the Hankel integral transformation. Moreover, it is assumed that the material of the layer and half-space are incompressible and elastic relations for those are given through the Treloar’s potential. In the case where the initial strains are absent in the layer and half-space the considered problem formulation and solution to that coincide with the corresponding ones of the classical linear theory of elasticity for an incompressible body. The algorithm for obtaining numerical results is proposed. The numerical results regarding the stresses acting on the interface plane are presented. These results are obtained for the case where the stiffness (distortion wave velocity) of the covering layer material is less (greater) than that for the half-space material. In this case, the main attention is focused on the dependencies between the values of the stresses and frequency of the external force and also the influence of the initial strains on these dependencies. In particular, it is established that the “resonance” values of the frequency of the external force increase, but the absolute maximum values of the stresses decrease significantly with the amount of the initial tension of the covering layer.  相似文献

重力对具有表面层的半空间中Rayleigh波具有重要的影响,假设表面层和半空间均为均匀各向同性介质,首先利用考虑重力作用的运动方程得出了重力影响下具有表面层的半空间中Rayleigh波的弥散方程。该方程经退化后得出了不受重力作用时的弥散方程,且与忽略重力时得到的方程完全一致。然后利用数值方法得到了重力影响下的Rayleigh波弥散曲线,分析了泊松比和表面层的厚度的影响,结果表明泊松比和表面层的厚度对弥散曲线具有明显影响。  相似文献

The propagation behavior of transverse surface waves (Love waves) in a piezoelectric half space of polarized ceramics carrying a functionally graded material layer is studied from the three-dimensional equations of linear piezoelectricity. The Wentzel–Kramers–Brillouin (WKB) asymptotic technique is adopted for the theoretical derivations of analytical solutions in the functionally graded layer. The dispersion relations of Love wave in the structure are obtained for both electrically open and shorted cases. Firstly, these solutions are used to study effect of the gradient coefficients on the dispersive relations and phase velocities of Love wave propagation. Then influence of the gradient coefficients on the electromechanical coupling factor is discussed in detail. The existence and propagation behavior of Love waves in a functionally graded material (FGM) layered structure are theoretically investigated in this paper based on the three-dimensional equations of linear electricity. The Wentzel–Kramers–Brillouin (WKB) method is applied to obtain the analytical solutions in the FGM layer. The dispersion equation for a Love surface wave in this kind of structure is obtained in a simple mathematical form, where the material property variation of the FGM layer is arbitrary. First, the solution is used to study the effect of the gradient coefficients on the dispersion curves and the phase velocities of Love waves. Then, the influence of gradient coefficients on the stress and displacement fields is discussed in detail. An inverse numerical method for periodic composite characterization is reported. The method utilizes the velocity data based on Floquet wave homogenization. The optimization procedure is performed on the basis of the gradient method. An efficient polynomial function is derived from Christoffel equation. The numerical procedure leads to an analytical form of the minimized function which is related to the whole Floquet data. The set of input data is collected from different azimuthal plane orientations inside the homogenization domain. The output results mainly include the effective elastic constants of the multidirectional composite and the reliability factor. The initialization of the elastic stiffness matrix is obtained by averaging the rigidity tensor corresponding to each layer orientation. This procedure is examined for [0/90] and [0/60/−60] composites; some of the obtained elastic constants are significantly dependent on the frequency. The agreement between the adopted Floquet velocities and the calculated ones is good; the reliability factor does not exceed 1%. Slight deviations are pointed out in the vicinity of the homogenization limits.  相似文献

有限元数值模拟中,超临界角斜入射SV波作用下层状地基的地震动输入是一个亟待解决的问题。该文采用层状地基频域内精确的动力刚度矩阵(即频域刚度矩阵法)推导了SV波任意角度斜入射下的地震动输入等效节点力计算公式,通过ABAQUS有限元软件模拟SV波斜入射下均匀半空间、层状地基的地震波场,探讨了基于频域刚度矩阵法的层状地基任意角度斜入射地震动输入应用于ABAQUS有限元软件的有效性和准确性。结果表明,采用频域刚度矩阵法可以在ABAQUS中实现层状地基任意角度斜入射SV波地震动输入,且方法具有很高的计算精度,尤其对于SV波超临界角入射情况,有限元数值模拟很好地再现了均匀半空间地表质点的椭圆型运动轨迹和层状地基的行波特点。在此基础上进一步将频域刚度矩阵法与等效线性化方法相结合,解决了考虑土体非线性的层状地基在任意角度平面波入射条件下的地震动输入问题。  相似文献

This paper deals with propagation of Love type waves in a Piezomagnetic layer with corrugated boundaries overlying an inhomogeneous half-space. Inhomogeneity of elastic half-space is caused due to exponential variations in elastic parameters. Dispersion relations are obtained for magnetically open and short cases. Prominent effects of inhomogeneity, layer's width and corrugation on the phase velocity of considered wave are illustrated through graphs. Some particular cases are derived and exhibited through graphs. Also the influence of undulation parameter, elastic parameter, and piezomagnetic coefficient on phase velocity of considered wave has been marked separately. The present study finds its applications in designing and optimization of Love wave sensors and Seismic Acoustic Wave (SAW) devices. Findings may also be used for analytical study of wave propagation in piezomagnetic coupled structures.  相似文献

Summary The paper concerns the propagation of Love waves in a transverse-isotropic fluid-saturated porous layer overlaying an elastic nonhomogeneous half-space. Using the Biot's theory for the porous layer and the theory of elasticity for the lower medium, the dispersion equation has been derived. This complex transcendental equation that relates frequency, phase velocity, anisotropy factor of the layer and the inhomogeneity character of the half-space has been solved with the aid of successive approximation method.
