A new discrete‐time adaptive global sliding mode control (SMC) scheme combined with a state observer is proposed for the robust stabilization of uncertain nonlinear systems with mismatched time delays and input nonlinearity. A state observer is developed to estimate the unmeasured system states. By using Lyapunov stability theorem and linear matrix inequality (LMI), the condition for the existence of quasi‐sliding mode is derived and the stability of the overall closed‐loop system is guaranteed. Finally, simulation results are presented to demonstrate the validity of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

In this paper the problem of non‐fragile adaptive sliding mode observer design is addressed for a class of nonlinear fractional‐order time‐delay systems with uncertainties, external disturbance, exogenous noise, and input nonlinearity. An H observer‐based adaptive sliding mode control considering the non‐fragility of the observer is proposed for this system. The sufficient asymptotic stability conditions are derived in the form of linear matrix inequalities. It is proven that the sliding surface is reachable in finite time. An illustrative example is provided which corroborates the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper, the distributed observer‐based stabilization problem of multi‐agent systems under a directed graph is investigated. Distributed observer‐based control protocol with sampled‐data information is proposed. The dynamics of each agent contain a nonlinear part, which is supposed to be general Lipschitz. In order to stabilize the states of the whole network, all the nodes utilize the relative output estimation error at sampling instants and only a small fraction of nodes use the absolute output estimation error additionally. By virtue of the input‐to‐state stability (ISS) property and the Lyapunov stability theory, an algorithm to design the control gain matrix, observer gain matrix, coupling strength as well as the allowable sampling period are derived. The conditions are in the form of LMIs and algebraic inequality, which are simple in form and easy to verify. Some further discussions about the solvability of obtained linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) are also given. Lastly, an example is simulated to further validate the obtained results.  相似文献

Asymptotic output‐feedback tracking in a class of causal nonminimum phase uncertain nonlinear systems is addressed via sliding mode techniques. Sliding mode control is proposed for robust stabilization of the output tracking error in the presence of a bounded disturbance. The output reference profile and the unknown input/disturbance are supposed to be described by unknown linear exogenous systems of a given order. Local asymptotic stability of the output tracking error dynamics along with the boundedness of the internal states are proven. The unstable internal states are estimated asymptotically via the proposed multistage observer that is based on the method of extended system center. A higher‐order sliding mode observer/differentiator is used for the exact estimation of the input–output states in a finite time. The bounded disturbance is reconstructed asymptotically. A numerical example illustrates the efficiency of the proposed output‐feedback tracking approach developed for causal nonminimum phase nonlinear systems. In this paper, an adaptive fuzzy decentralized output feedback control approach is presented for a class of uncertain nonlinear pure‐feedback large‐scale systems with immeasurable states. Fuzzy logic systems are utilized to approximate the unknown nonlinear functions, and a fuzzy state observer is designed to estimate the immeasurable states. On the basis of the adaptive backstepping recursive design technique, an adaptive fuzzy decentralized output feedback is developed. It is proved that the proposed control approach can guarantee that all the signals of the resulting closed‐loop system are semiglobally uniformly ultimately bounded (SUUB), and that the observer and tracking errors converge to a small neighborhood of the origin by appropriate choice of the design parameters. Simulation studies are included to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, an observer‐based control approach is proposed for uncertain stochastic nonlinear discrete‐time systems with input constraints. The widely used extended Kalman filter (EKF) is well known to be inadequate for estimating the states of uncertain nonlinear dynamical systems with strong nonlinearities especially if the time horizon of the estimation process is relatively long. Instead, a modified version of the EKF with improved stability and robustness is proposed for estimating the states of such systems. A constrained observer‐based controller is then developed using the state‐dependent Riccati equation approach. Rigorous analysis of the stability of the developed stochastically controlled system is presented. The developed approach is applied to control the performance of a synchronous generator connected to an infinite bus and chaos in permanent magnet synchronous motor. Simulation results of the synchronous generator show that the estimated states resulting from the proposed estimator are stable, whereas those resulting from the EKF diverge. Moreover, satisfactory performance is achieved by applying the developed observer‐based control strategy on the two practical problems. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper addresses the output feedback tracking control of a class of multiple‐input and multiple‐output nonlinear systems subject to time‐varying input delay and additive bounded disturbances. Based on the backstepping design approach, an output feedback robust controller is proposed by integrating an extended state observer and a novel robust controller, which uses a desired trajectory‐based feedforward term to achieve an improved model compensation and a robust delay compensation feedback term based on the finite integral of the past control values to compensate for the time‐varying input delay. The extended state observer can simultaneously estimate the unmeasurable system states and the additive disturbances only with the output measurement and delayed control input. The proposed controller theoretically guarantees prescribed transient performance and steady‐state tracking accuracy in spite of the presence of time‐varying input delay and additive bounded disturbances based on Lyapunov stability analysis by using a Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional. A specific study on a 2‐link robot manipulator is performed; based on the system model and the proposed design procedure, a suitable controller is developed, and comparative simulation results are obtained to demonstrate the effectiveness of the developed control scheme.  相似文献

In this paper, the leader‐following consensus problem of uncertain high‐order nonlinear multi‐agent systems on directed graph with a fixed topology is studied, where it is assumed that the relative states of a follower and its neighbors are immeasurable and only the relative outputs are available. Nonlinear adaptive observers are firstly proposed for each follower to estimate the states of it and its neighbors, and an observer‐based distributed adaptive control scheme is constructed to guarantee that all followers asymptotically synchronize to a leader with tracking errors being semi‐globally uniform ultimate bounded. On the basis of algebraic graph theory and Lyapunov theory, the closed‐loop system stability analysis is conducted. Finally, numerical simulations are presented to illustrate the effectiveness and potential of the proposed new design techniques. Copyright © 2017 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

An observer‐based adaptive fuzzy model following controller is proposed for a class of MIMO nonlinear uncertain systems to cope with time‐delay, uncertainty in plant structure and disturbances. Based on universal approximation theorem the unknown nonlinear functions are approximated by fuzzy systems, where the premise and the consequent parts of the fuzzy rules are tuned with adaptive schemes. To have more robustness, and at the same time to alleviate chattering, an adaptive discontinuous structure is suggested. Moreover, the availability of the states measurement is not required and an adaptive observer is used to estimate the states. Asymptoic stability of the overall system is ensured using suitable a Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional candidate. This paper presents an integrated robust fault estimation and fault‐tolerant control technique for stochastic systems subjected to Brownian parameter perturbations. The augmented system approach, unknown input observer method, and optimization technique are integrated to achieve robust simultaneous estimates of the system states and the means of faults concerned. Meanwhile, a robust fault‐tolerant control strategy is developed by using actuator and sensor signal compensation techniques. Stochastic linear time‐invariant systems, stochastic systems with Lipschitz nonlinear constraint, and stochastic systems with quadratic inner‐bounded nonlinear constraint are respectively investigated, and the corresponding fault‐tolerant control algorithms are addressed. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed fault‐tolerant control techniques is demonstrated via the drivetrain system of a 4.8 MW benchmark wind turbine, a 3‐tank system, and a numerical nonlinear model.  相似文献

This paper addresses the observer‐based consensus tracking problem of multi‐agent systems with intermittent communications. The agent dynamics are modeled as general linear systems with Lipschitz nonlinearity. Under the assumption that each agent can intermittently share its relative output with neighbors, a class of an observer‐type protocol is proposed, and the consensus tracking problem can be converted further into the stability problem of the nonlinear switching systems. Using a combined tool from M matrix theory, switching theory and the averaging approach, a multi‐step algorithm is presented to construct the observer gains and protocol parameters, and the sufficient criteria established not only can ensure the state estimates convergence to the real values but also can guarantee the follower states synchronize to those of the leader. The obtained results reveal the relationships among the communication rate, the convergence rate, and the dwell time of switching topologies. Finally, the theoretical findings are validated by a numerical example.  相似文献

The output tracking controller design problem is dealt with for a class of nonlinear semi‐strict feedback systems in the presence of mismatched nonlinear uncertainties, external disturbances, and uncertain nonlinear virtual control coefficients of the subsystems. The controller is designed in a backstepping manner, and to avoid the shortcoming of ‘explosion of terms’, the dynamic surface control technique that employs a group of first‐order low‐pass filters is adopted. At each step of the virtual controller design, a robust feedback controller employing some effective nonlinear damping terms is designed to guarantee input‐to‐state practical stable property of the corresponding subsystem, so that the system states remain in the feasible domain. The virtual controller is enhanced by a finite‐time disturbance observer that estimates the disturbance term in a finite‐time. The properties of the composite control system are analyzed theoretically. Furthermore, by exploiting the cascaded structure of the control system, a simplified robust controller is proposed where only the first subsystem employs a disturbance observer. The performance of the proposed methods is confirmed by numerical examples. Copyright © 2017 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Based on the approximation property of fuzzy logic systems, we propose a novel non‐backstepping adaptive tracking control algorithm for a class of single input single output (SISO) strict‐feedback nonlinear systems with unknown dead‐zone input. In this algorithm, we introduce some novel state variables and coordinate transforms to convert the strict‐feedback form into a normal one, and it is not necessary to consider the traditional approximation‐based the backstepping scheme. Due to new states variables being unavailable, the tracking control is changed from a state‐feedback one to an output‐feedback one. So, observers need to be designed to estimate the indirect nonmeasurable states. According to Lyapunov stability analysis method, the developed controller can guarantee that all of the signals in the closed‐loop system will be ultimately uniformly bounded (UUB), and the output can track the reference signal very well. Simulation results are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.  相似文献

A novel type of control scheme combined the distance‐observer‐based control (DOBC) with H control is proposed for a class of nonlinear time‐delay systems subject to disturbances. The disturbances are supposed to include two parts. One in the input channel is generated by an exogenous system with uncertainty, which can represent the harmonic signals with modeling perturbations. The other is supposed to have the bounded H2 norm. The disturbance observers based on regional pole placement and D‐stability theory are presented, which can be designed separately from the controller design. By integrating disturbance‐observer‐based control with H control laws, the disturbances can be rejected and attenuated, simultaneously, the desired dynamic performances can be guaranteed for nonlinear time‐delay systems with unknown nonlinear dynamics. In this note, we propose an adaptive output feedback control design technique for feedforward systems based on our recent results on dynamic high-gain scaling techniques for controller design for strict-feedback systems. The system is allowed to contain uncertain functions of all the states and the input as long as the uncertainties satisfy certain bounds. Unknown parameters are allowed in the bounds assumed on the uncertain functions. If the uncertain functions involve the input, then the output-dependent functions in the bounds on the uncertain functions need to be polynomially bounded. It is also shown that if the uncertain functions can be bounded by a function independent of the input, then the polynomial boundedness requirement can be relaxed. The designed controllers have a very simple structure being essentially a linear feedback with state-dependent dynamic gains and do not involve any saturations or recursive computations. The observer utilized to estimate the unmeasured states is similar to a Luenberger observer with dynamic observer gains. The Lyapunov functions are quadratic in the state estimates, the observer errors, and the parameter estimation error. The stability analysis is based on our recent results on uniform solvability of coupled state-dependent Lyapunov equations. The controller design provides strong robustness properties both with respect to uncertain parameters in the system model and additive disturbances. This robustness is the key to the output feedback controller design. Global asymptotic results are obtained.  相似文献

With a focus on aero‐engine distributed control systems (DCSs) with Markov time delay, unknown input disturbance, and sensor and actuator simultaneous faults, a combined fault tolerant algorithm based on the adaptive sliding mode observer is studied. First, an uncertain augmented model of distributed control system is established under the condition of simultaneous sensor and actuator faults, which also considers the influence of the output disturbances. Second, an augmented adaptive sliding mode observer is designed and the linear matrix inequality (LMI) form stability condition of the combined closed‐loop system is deduced. Third, a robust sliding mode fault tolerant controller is designed based on fault estimation of the sliding mode observer, where the theory of predictive control is adopted to suppress the influence of random time delay on system stability. Simulation results indicate that the proposed sliding mode fault tolerant controller can be very effective despite the existence of faults and output disturbances, and is suitable for the simultaneous sensor and actuator faults condition.  相似文献

This paper focuses on the adaptive observer design for nonlinear discrete‐time MIMO systems with unknown time‐delay and nonlinear dynamics. The delayed states involved in the system are arguments of a nonlinear function and only the estimated delay is utilized. By constructing an appropriate Lyapunov–Krasovskii function, the delay estimation error is considered in the observer parameter design. The proposed method is then extended to the system with a nonlinear output measurement equation and the delayed dynamics. With the help of a high‐order neural network (HONN), the requirement for a precise system model, the linear‐in‐the‐parameters (LIP) assumption of the delayed states, the Lipschitz or norm‐boundedness assumption of unknown nonlinearities are removed. A novel converse Lyapunov technical lemma is also developed and used to prove the uniform ultimate boundedness of the proposed observer. The effectiveness of the proposed results is verified by simulations. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This article investigates the robust adaptive control system design for the longitudinal dynamics of a flexible air‐breathing hypersonic vehicle (FAHV) subject to parametric uncertainties and control input constraints. A combination of back‐stepping and nonlinear disturbance observer (NDO) is utilized for exploiting an adaptive output‐feedback controller to provide robust tracking of velocity and altitude reference trajectories in the presence of flexible effects and system uncertainties. The dynamic surface control is introduced to solve the problem of “explosion of terms.” A new NDO is developed to guarantee the proposed controller's disturbance attenuation ability and to performance robustness against uncertain aerodynamic coefficients. To deal with the problem of actuator saturation, a novel auxiliary system is exploited to compensate the desired control laws. The stability of the presented NDO and controller is analyzed. Simulation results are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the presented control strategy.  相似文献
