Quality criteria used in the computer-aided design and analysis of casting processes typically relate geometric, thermal, or solidification parameters to structural features such as centerline shrinkage and microporosity. Quality criteria for the prediction of porosity in castings have been used successfully in steel, but the application of criteria functions to nonferrous alloys has been less successful. Recent work suggests that the dominating mechanism that determines the amount and distribution of porosity in castings is strongly dependent on the solidification mode of the alloy and the solidification conditions. Accordingly, casting processes and alloy types are divided into four groups, and a different set of criteria functions are obtained for each group. 相似文献

In recent years expert systems have been used more widely in industry, their efficiency increasing when they started to be used for automated technology design, rather then just being consulted by design engineers.
In this paper, an expert system concerned with the automated design of hot die forging technology is discussed. The elements of the knowledge base are analysed and the particular-general approach combined with break-up of the parts into groups is chosen as most suitable. Further, an ESI-P expert system based on the latter approach is described. Future prospects are discussed briefly. 相似文献

An overview of some specialty materials (ceramics, polymers and composites) is provided. 介绍了有色金属材料加工先进新技术国内外发展和应用概况,包括近年来关于镁合金、钛合金、铝合金等典型有色金属材料领域出现的先进塑性成形技术,尤其温热加工成形技术。在镁合金板材冲压成形领域,介绍了镁合金板材温热冲压成形、差温冲压成形、温热液压成形和热冲锻成形以及镁合金型材温热拉弯成形等新工艺技术,为镁合金板材在汽车、电子、机车车辆等领域的应用奠定了技术基础。钛合金板材零件的热应力成形、热胀形成形、激光弯曲成形、高温蠕变成形技术都得到了发展和应用。随着铝合金的进一步应用和发展,一些低塑性难成形高强铝合金的用量在增加,应用领域在扩展。因此铝合金的温热液压成形、冲锻成形都有所发展。 相似文献

This paper presents a new tool for on-going decision making needed to assign parts to flexible manufacturing cells, in support of the dynamic dispatching and scheduling required for day-to-day operation. A CAM-oriented modelling system and associated expert modules: Analyzer, Synthesizer and Recognizer have been developed to perform the automatic and dynamic assignment of parts to manufacturing cells directly from a feature-based CAD modelling system. It is based upon knowledge of both the part design features and manufacturing processes. Feature-based representation of components structure and related machining operations is presented. The proposed technique represents a new and generic methodology for integrating CAD and CAM. Artificial intelligence techniques such as expert systems, pattern recognition and finite-state automata are applied in this research. Symbolic strings containing the design and machining attributes of components are analyzed using knowledge of rules and syntactic pattern recognition techniques, then cell inference and part assignment are carried out using domain specific expert rules. Two case studies are included to illustrate the feasibility of these approaches for rotational and prismatic parts. It is believed that this research provides some useful contributions for both CAD and CAM integration as well as parts assignment techniques for cellular manufacturing. 相似文献

增材制造技术为高强铝合金复杂零部件的制造带来了前所未有的机遇,但目前增材制造铝合金体系仍局限于可铸造和可焊接的Al-Si系合金,制约了高性能增材制造铝合金的快速发展。近年来,不同尺度的计算方法逐步用于辅助高性能增材制造铝合金的开发。本文详细综述了国内外学者在计算辅助增材制造铝合金设计与制备领域的研究成果,列举了原子、介观和宏观尺度计算模拟及机器学习等计算方法辅助增材制造铝合金设计的代表性案例,分析了不同计算方法辅助合金设计的策略,并指出其不足。最后,针对如何推动多尺度计算在高性能增材制造铝合金开发中的应用进行了展望,并指出其发展方向。 相似文献
