In this review, properties and potential of carbon nanotube, nanodiamond, and nanodiamond–carbon nanotube hybrid nanobifiller have been discussed with reference to electromagnetic interference shielding materials. The nanodiamond and carbon nanotube nanofiller and nanodiamond–carbon nanotube nanobifiller have outstanding electrical, thermal, and mechanical features. Main focus of review was electromagnetic interference shielding phenomenon and its implication in polymer/nanodiamond, polymer/carbon nanotube, and polymer/nanodiamond–carbon nanotube nanobifiller composite. The epoxy/nanodiamond, epoxy/carbon nanotube, and epoxy/nanodiamond–carbon nanotube composites have been discussed with electromagnetic interference shielding shielding features. Thus, considerable enhancement in electromagnetic interference shielding shielding features was observed using higher nanodiamond, carbon nanotube, and nanodiamond–carbon nanotube loadings. Significance and future potential of these polymeric composite are specified.  相似文献

Summary p–Phenylenevinylene type (P1), p–phenylene type (P2), and p–phenyleneethynylene type (P3) conjugated polymers containing tropone in the main chain were obtained by Heck reaction, Suzuki coupling, and Sonogashira coupling, respectively. The carbonyl stretching vibration peaks in the IR spectra were always detected at the lower wavenumber region compared with that of tropone. P1 and P2 in chloroform had the absorption peak maximum at 515 nm and 400 nm, respectively. The fluorescence from these polymer solutions was almost quenched, in contrast to previously reported P4 bearing benzotropone unit (em = 566 nm). The acid–doping to P1 did not bring about any spectral change in the UV spectra. From the powder XRD pattern, P1 was found to have the -stacked structure in the solid state.  相似文献

In this article, a comprehensive review is presented regarding structure, synthesis, and properties of nanofillers such as graphene oxide, nanobifiller of graphene oxide, and their polymeric nanocomposite. The information about hybrid properties and synthesis of graphene oxide–carbon nanotube, graphene oxide–montmorillonite, and graphene oxide–nanodiamond is presented. Use of nanobifiller in polymer/graphene oxide–carbon nanotube, polymer/graphene oxide–montmorillonite, and polymer/graphene oxide–nanodiamond composites was summarized. Area of polymer and graphene oxide-based nanobifiller composites is less studied in literature. Therefore, nanobifiller technology limitations and research challenges must be focused. Polymer/graphene oxide nanobifiller composites have a wide range of unexplored potential in technological areas such as automobile, aerospace, energy, and medical industries.  相似文献

New silane and siloxane compounds containing cyclic carbonate functional groups were synthesized and characterized. The compounds were prepared via two routes: hydrosilation of SiH containing siloxanes and alcoholysis of chlorosilanes with hydroxy-terminated oligoethers. The products were purified by distillation and solvent extraction and characterized using 1H, 13C, and 29Si NMR. Upon doping with lithium bis(oxolato)borate (LiBOB), the conductivities of the compounds were determined. These carbonate compounds themselves did not show promising conductivities. However, when used as additives to silicone-containing oligoether electrolytes, the conductivities of the resulting mixtures were increased by up to 35%.  相似文献

A new low-permittivity polymer–ceramic composite for packaging applications has been developed. The ceramic-reinforced polyethylene and polystyrene composites were prepared by melt mixing and hot molding techniques. Low-loss, low-permittivity Li2MgSiO4 (LMS) ceramics prepared by the solid-state ceramic route were used as the filler to improve the dielectric properties of the composites. The relative permittivity and dielectric loss were increased with the increase in the ceramic loading at radio and microwave frequencies. The mechanical properties and thermal conductivity of the Li2MgSiO4-reinforced polymer–ceramic composite were also investigated. The stability of the relative permittivity of polymer–ceramic composites with temperature and frequency was investigated. The experimentally observed relative permittivity, thermal expansion, and thermal conductivity were compared with theoretical models.  相似文献

[2-(Methacryloyloxy)ethyl]dimethylhexadecylammonium bromide (QDMA) was synthesized by means of quaternization of 2-dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate. Poly(QDMA) and poly(QDMA)-bentonite nanocomposites containing different amount of bentonite were prepared by in situ suspension polymerization and characterized. Adsorption behaviors of these materials towards acid orange 8 and p-nitrophenol were investigated with respect to solution pH. For both adsorbate, adsorption capacities of some nanocomposites were found to be higher than those of bentonite and poly(QDMA). Effects of various parameters such as contact time, initial adsorbate concentration, and temperature on the adsorption of acid orange 8 and p-nitrophenol onto NC3 from aqueous solutions were also evaluated.  相似文献

Oxidative polycondensation reaction conditions of [(2-mercaptophenyl)iminomethyl]-2-naphthol (2-MPIM-2N) were studied using oxidants such as air and NaOCl in an aqueous alkaline medium between 40 °C and 90 °C. The structure of poly-[(2-mercaptophenyl)iminomethyl]-2-naphthol (P-2-MPIM-2N) was characterized by 1H- 13C NMR, FT-IR, and UV–Vis spectroscopy, size exclusion chromatography (SEC), and elemental analysis. At optimum reaction conditions, the yield of P-2-MPIM-2N was found to be 78 and 82% for air and NaOCl oxidants, respectively. From SEC measurements, the number-average molecular weight (M n ), weight-average molecular weight (M w ) and polydispersity index (PDI) of P-2-MPIM-2N are 2900, 3500 g mol−1 and 1.207; 2200, 2500 g mol−1 and 1.136, for air and NaOCl oxidants, respectively. Polymer–metal complexes were synthesized by the reaction of P-2-MPIM-2N with Co2+, Cu2+, Zn2+, Pb2+ and Cd2+ ions. The highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO), the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO), and electrochemical band gaps (Eg E^{\prime}_{g} ) of 2-MPIM-2N and P-2-MPIM-2N were −5.97, −2.66 and 3.31 eV and −5.82, −2.68 and 3.14 eV, respectively. The conductivity of polymer and polymer–metal complexes were determined in the solid state. Conductivity measurements of doped and undoped Schiff base polymer and polymer–metal complexes were carried out at room temperature and atmospheric pressure by the four-point probe technique using an electrometer. The conductivities of the polymer and polymer–metal complexes increased when iodine was used as doping agent.  相似文献

The effect of octanol on the interaction of polyethylene glycol (PEG) and cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) were investigated by viscosity, conductivity, differential scanning calorimetry (DCS), polarizing microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and rheology analysis. The aggregation of polymer-surfactant micelles takes place at a surfactant concentration higher than the critical micelle concentration. The long chain aliphatic alcohol (n-octanol) induced rapid structural transformation in the mixed micellar system by unusual cooperative micellization. The rheological behavior of the viscoelastic system reveals the presence of giant aggregates in this system. The lyotropic nature of the giant aggregates was monitored by DSC and polarizing microscopic studies, and which was confirmed by cryo-TEM.  相似文献

基于Aspen Polymer工艺流程模拟软件对以对苯二甲酸和乙二醇为单体生成聚酯的逐步加成聚合反应体系进行了建模。采用链段法定义反应体系各组分,物性方法采用非随机二液相活度系数模型和Flory-Huggins模型组合的Poly NRTL模型;工艺建模考虑了反应过程中的传质,包括小分子的脱挥过程以及固相对苯二甲酸在乙二醇和对苯二甲酸二乙二醇酯中的溶解过程;传质模型以fortran程序通过asplink连接到反应器模型中;在此基础上建立聚酯生产四釜工艺流程模型,模拟结果与实际操作值吻合较好,后缩聚反应器出口熔体的特性黏数达到0.69 dL/g;建立的聚酯四釜工艺流程模型能够方便的进行灵敏度分析,可指导新装置的设计和优化,有工业应用价值。  相似文献

Composite membranes of poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene oxide) (PPO) or ethyl cellulose filled with magnetic nanoparticles, that is, ferroferric oxides (Fe3O4) were prepared. These membranes were examined for nitrogen and oxygen permeability. In the case of ethylcellulose membranes the gas flow was too high, since the macropore were formed. In further permeation measurements PPO membranes with 1 to 10 w/w% magnetic particles content were investigated. For the higher concentration of magnetite (more than 20%) in PPO polymer solution sedimentation phenomenon was observed. Mass transport coefficients (permeation and selectivity) were evaluated. Selectivity of the investigated membranes changed with the weight fraction of magnetic particles from oxygen (plain) towards nitrogen (2 and more w/w%).  相似文献
