该文提出了一个适用于低码率视频编码的基于对角线抽样(DS-Diagonally Sampled)的混合快速 DCT编码方案,此方案包含一个新的 3系数DCT算法,同时提出了基于 DS的计算色度SAD(Sum of Absolute Difference)的方法用于有效准确地检测全零或3系数的色度块。这一混合算法可以有效的降低DCT、IDCT、量化和反量化的运算量,提高编码器处理速度,而不会导致明显的图象质量的下降。  相似文献

形状自适应DCT(SA-DCT)在低码率时编码效果欠佳,且重建图像块效应明显。针对该问题,提出一种基于形状自适应全相位双正交变换(SA-APBT)的编码系统框架,采用APBT取代DCT进行编码。实验结果表明,该方法在低码率时的编码性能优于SA-DCT,且块效应明显减小。  相似文献

分形图像压缩编码复杂度较高,而DCT域的分形图像压缩方法虽然在性能上有所提高,但是对每个图像块的处理中又分别增加了一次二维DCT,使得编码复杂度进一步提高,为降低DCT域分形图像压缩的编码复杂度,引入平坦块的概念,对那些经过DCT后,能量非常集中的块不做块匹配,而是直接编码输出。实验结果表明,与一般的DCT域分形图像压缩方法相比,这种方法在提高编码速度的同时,也降低了比特率。  相似文献

HEVC的三维视频编码扩展部分(3D-HEVC)引入了视间预测和纹理深度联合预测的工具对相关性较强的纹理、深度视点进行高效编码,同时它沿用了HEVC中的四叉树编码结构和率失真优化来选择最优预测模式和块划分模式,这样导致计算量很大。在3D视频中,纹理图像、深度图像中存在大片较为平坦的纹理区域,深度图像中的平坦区域占比更是达到85%,然而对于平坦区域进行计算量极大的率失真过程是冗余的,针对此问题提出一种基于边缘建模的纹理深度联合快速编码算法。该方法对纹理图像以及深度图像进行边缘建模,对其中的编码单元进行平坦性分析,通过边缘模型中的平坦性和方向性对编码过程进行指导,从而有效地避免了一些冗余的CU深度以及块划分模式的遍历。实验结果表明,在随机访问配置(RA)的情况下,该方法平均降低59.0%的编码时间,而仅在合成视点端带来3.8%性能下降。  相似文献

AVS1-P2标准参考软件rm52j的RDCost算法能很好地平衡视频编码质量和编码效率,但RDCost的计算复杂度大,占用了大量的编码时间。针对该问题,提出一种快速预测算法,利用帧内8×8亮度块亮度变化的方向性和邻块间预测模式的相关性进行帧内预测。实验证明,与全搜索算法相比,快速预测算法的编码时间平均节省了17%左右,且PSNR和比特率几乎不变。  相似文献

For wireless multi-view video system, which has very limited capability for storage and computation at the encoder, it is essential to design a video coding scheme with low complexity. Wyner-Ziv (WZ) coding scheme shifts large computational complexities to decoder with side information reconstruction, however, its encoding efficiency is not high enough. To obtain higher encoding efficiency and lower encoding complexity for wireless multi-view video applications, a network-driven low complexity video coding method is proposed in the paper. The proposed method is designed to implement color correction, motion vector extrapolation and disparity extraction at the central node of network, so as to reduce large computational complexities of motion estimation at the encoder and disparity estimation at the decoder. Experimental results show that encoding efficiency of the proposed method is higher than those of WZ coding and H.264 intraframe coding methods. The encoding complexity of the proposed method is greatly decreased and the decoded views are of color consistency, which is favorable to high quality view rendering at the decoder.  相似文献

The authors propose an embedded wavelet-based image coding algorithm that exploits both the inter- and intra-subband correlations among the wavelet coefficients. The proposed coding algorithm is based on spatial orientation trees (SOT) in which the basic unit is a block of m times n coefficients in contrast to a single coefficient in the set partitioning in hierarchical trees (SPIHT) algorithm. Each SOT has a root node (a block of m times n coefficients) in the LL-subband with the child and descendent blocks in the high frequency subbands. Thus it fuses the features of both block- and tree-based coding algorithms into a single algorithm. Performance of the proposed method is compared (in terms of rate-distortion performance) with the other state-of-the-art coding algorithms including the JPEG2000 for popular test images. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has a better coding efficiency over the other coders at very low bit rates. Also, compared with SPIHT it reduces the elements of the auxiliary lists, thereby reducing the memory requirements. In addition, the encoder of the proposed algorithm is significantly faster than that of the SPIHT, but with a slight increase in its decoder complexity.  相似文献

HEVC即H.265,是目前最新的视频编码标准。相比于前一代视频编码标准,H.265/HEVC虽然能够明显改善视频压缩效率,但是却带来了更高的计算复杂度,尤其是在帧内预测过程中。为了解决这个问题,提出一种基于梯度的帧内预测硬件加速算法来跳过一些帧内预测模式和划分深度的预测过程,从而达到减少计算的目的。利用图像梯度信息来粗略估计编码单元的纹理方向和纹理复杂度,其中纹理方向用来估计编码单元的最优帧内预测方向,纹理复杂度用来判断是否跳过当前划分深度的预测编码过程。实验表明,相比于H.265/HEVC测试模型HM16.18,本文提出的算法能够减少6059%的编码时间,仅造成0.38 dB的BD PSNR减少和8.52%的BD-Rate增加。  相似文献

In the development of 3D video extension of high efficiency video coding (HEVC) standard, known as 3D-HEVC, depth modeling modes (DMMs) are introduced in depth intra coding to represent object edges in depth maps. With the DMMs, a depth block is approximated by partitioning the block into two non-rectangular regions using Wedgelet or Contour partition, where each region is represented by a constant value referred to as a constant partition value (CPV). To predict the CPV more accurately and efficiently, we develop three approaches in this study. First, a better CPV predictor may be obtained by simply extending the actual depth map boundary, which can also simplify the CPV prediction by removing comparisons and average operations. Second, we propose to choose an optimal combination of delta CPVs in terms of view synthesis optimization at the encoder by checking more candidates. Finally, zero residual coding is suggested for DMMs coding units in the rate-distortion optimization loop. Experimental results demonstrate that about 0.2 and 0.1 % Bjøntegaard delta rate saving can be achieved on average for synthesized views with less complexity, under the all-intra and random access configurations, respectively.  相似文献
