A collaborative engineering design environment has been devised based on semantic Web technologies. The Semantic Engineering Design Environment (SEDE) consists of Engineering Ontology, Design Rules, Design Database, and Design Data Web Service. The Design Data Web Service provides users APIs (Application Programming Interface) so that distributed Design Participants interface each other. The domain knowledge of design objects can be logically expressed by OWL (Web Ontology Language). Design rules regarding change management are encoded in XQuery and stored as database triggers. Once design data changes, associated design rules will be validated by database systems. In this paper we introduce the overall architecture of the collaborative engineering design environment and present working scenarios with examples.  相似文献

An emergent architecture called “Responsive Web Design” has spawned by the high-speed growth of mobile Internet. First the principles of Responsive Web Design using in some mainstream Web portal were introduced. And then to enhance the user experience of “the new starting cram school” website, some of Responsive Web Designs have been applied in this website selectively. Compared to the traditional APP development, Responsive Web Design technique can be applied in the original MVC system seamlessly, which reduces the requirements for developers, improves the efficiency of Web development, and reduces the cost of maintenance.   相似文献

We developed a simple system for three-dimensional (3D) authoring and presentation in immersive virtual reality environments. Our system enables a user to create and edit content both through direct manipulation using hand gestures in an immersive environment, and by using a 2D GUI on a PC desktop. The system also exploits various features of 3D information visualization to produce effective and interactive presentations. In a system trial, users found that the system enhanced their experience. The system helps users create 3D educational materials more easily and learn through the materials with greater interest and motivation. Noritaka Osawa received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in information science from the University of Tokyo in 1983, 1985, and 1988 respectively. After working for a software company and the University of Electro-communications, he has been at the National Institute of Multimedia Education since 1998. He has also been jointly appointed at the Graduate University for Advanced Studies since 2001. He now works for them as a Professor. His current research interests include human–computer interfaces using virtual reality technologies, information visualization, and system software. Sangtae Kim received B.A. degree in Visual Communication from YougIn University, Korea, in 1996, and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Design, from the University of Tsukuba, 2001, and 2004, respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor of the institute of Art and Design, The University of Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan. His research interests include visual communication, dynamic information graphics, multimedia systems, 3DCG, and Web3D technology. He planned for the MDD (Multi-Dynamic Documentation) project in 2003. At present, he is involved in the development of Web3D contents (Interactive Anatomy system) that uses MDD technology.  相似文献

对大学计算机基础课程教学活动中引入电子学档来辅助教学,从而构建一种基于电子学档的信息化教学活动进行了探讨。并以《网页设计基础》课程的教学活动为案例,分析了在计算机基础课程教学中引入电子学档的可行性、必要性。最后,使用平均数差异显著性T检验来测量两组学生的学习情况,对使用电子学档提高学生的学习效率进行了量化评价。  相似文献

A bottom-up approach for documenting art objects processes data from innovative nondestructive analysis with signal processing and neural network techniques to provide a good estimation of the paint layer profile and pigments of artwork. The approach also uses Semantic Web technologies and maps concepts relevant to the analysis of paintings and Byzantine iconography to the Conceptual Reference Model of the International Committee for Documentation (CIDOC-CRM). This approach has introduced three main contributions: the development of an integrated nondestructive technique system combining spectroscopy and acoustic microscopy, supported by intelligent algorithms, for estimating the artworks' paint layers profile; mapping of analytical data pertinent to the diagnosis of art paintings to CIDOC-CRM to demonstrate how Semantic Web technologies can benefit cultural heritage; and the introduction of a practical setting that combines different AI fields.  相似文献

随着已有Web服务数量的不断增加,如何利用这些现有的Web服务创建新的更复杂的Web服务成为一项新的研究课题。特别地,利用MDA进行Web服务合成已经成为研究的热点。提出了一种基于模型驱动架构的Web服务组合方法,将模型驱动软件开发方法学应用到Web服务组合中。针对WSDL语言给出了一个UML Profile for WSDL来建立与WSDL平台相关的静态结构模型,并给出了与WSDL平台相关的静态结构模型和WSDL语言之间的模型转化规则。并通过一个旅行代理服务的实例说明了方法的应用情况,验证了方法的可行性。  相似文献

This paper describes “The Graphical Design and Documentation Tool” (GDDT), a general purpose support system for design and documentation. Self documentation and ease of use are presented as important criteria for such tools. Interactive graphics is introduced as a methodology for creating and maintaining hierarchical representations. The graphical representations of various requirements specification techniques and design tools are supported by an extended network model which supports hierarchical decomposition of structures. GDDT is proposed as a general purpose design tool which supports the most common logical constructions of both requirements specification and design methodologies and yet has a high level human interface which makes it easy to learn and use.  相似文献
