考虑胶层在自由型垫高阻尼结构中传递应力、应变的作用,将胶层等效为各向同性材料,采用ANSYS和MATLAB的联合仿真方法,分析含胶层的自由型垫高阻尼结构振动特性随胶层参数的变化规律。利用模态应变能法和控制变量法得到的结果表明,胶层对结构振动特性起着关键性的作用,因此,选择胶粘剂敷设自由型垫高阻尼结构时,应在保证胶层力学环境良好的前提下,选择满足胶层最佳特性区间的胶粘剂产品。  相似文献

Reactive interfacial agents are often used to homogenise the morphology of immiscible polymer blends and to improve the level of adhesion between the phases to achieve enhanced properties. This paper demonstrates the ability of hydroxyl methyl bisphenol A (HMBPA) to function as a reactive interfacial agent (compartibilizer) in a nitrile-epoxy film adhesive made from nitrile rubber (NBR) and solid epoxy resin blend. The curing of the adhesive film was achieved at 170° C by adding dicyandiamide, a latent curing agent for epoxy resin, and rubber vulcanising agents. Hydroxyl methyl bisphenol A resins with different hydroxyl methyl content, synthesised by the base-catalysed reaction of bisphenol A and formaldehyde in various mole ratios, were used to compatibilize a blend of nitrile rubber (NBR) and epoxy resin 50/50wt/wt. The effect of addition of HMBPA on the morphology, adhesive, thermal, and mechanical properties of the adhesive film was investigated. The nitrile-epoxy adhesive films were characterised by measurements of adhesive joint strength, stress-strain properties, DSC, TGA, TMA, DMA, and SEM. Results revealed that significant improvement in joint strength occurred at low levels of HMBPA, and the optimum strength was obtained at about 15 wt% of HMBPA in the blend. The hydroxyl methyl content in HMBPA was found to influence the properties of the adhesive film. The concept of strengthening the interphase between NBR and epoxy through the coupling reactions of HMBPA was used for interpreting the results. The effect of addition of silica, alumina, and aluminium fillers on the properties of the nitrile-epoxy adhesive film was also studied, and a comparison of properties with and without HMBPA is presented.  相似文献

A mandrel peel test is established for measuring the adhesive fracture toughness of a metal/rubber-toughened epoxy laminate system. By adopting an energy balance analysis it is possible to determine directly both adhesive fracture toughness and plastic work in bending the peel arm around the mandrel. The suitability of the procedure is examined for various types of metal peel arms, which are classified in terms of their ability to deform plastically during the test. The plastic work is also predicted theoretically, and comparisons are made between the measured and calculated values. The fracture energies determined from the mandrel tests are compared with those obtained from 90° fixed-arm peel tests. For the calculations of plastic work in bending in the fixed arm test, various options are used when modelling the tensile stress-strain behaviour of the peel arm material. In addition, the adhesive layer thickness is considered in terms of its influence on the calculation of adhesive fracture toughness.  相似文献

A sandwich element can be isolated in all two-dimensional adhesive joints, thereby simplifying the analysis of strain and stress. An adhesive sandwich model has been developed that accommodates arbitrary loading, a bilinear adherend stress-strain response, and any form of nonlinear adhesive behavior. The model accounts for both the bending deformation and the shear deformation of the adherends. Stress and strain distributions in the adhesive were obtained by solving a system of six differential equations using a finite-difference method. For a sample adhesive sandwich, the adhesive strains and stresses from the new model were compared with those of other models. Finally, the model was coupled with an analytical solution for the detached section of an adhesive joint in peel. The stress and strain distributions in the adhesive and the root curvature of the peel adherend were then compared with finite element results. An accompanying article in this issue uses the model with experimental peel data to investigate the suitability of various adhesive failure criteria.  相似文献
