利用原子力显微镜在纳米尺度上观察了光盘(CD)和数字通用光盘(DVD)的表面微观结构,对沟槽间距、摆动幅度等参数进行了测量,进而就这些参数对存储性能的影响进行了分析。实验结果显示:CD-R和DVD-R光盘上以连续的沟槽取代坑,并组成螺旋状的轨道,DVD-R光盘的信息存储密度更大。光盘轨道间距的变化范围是摆动幅度的4倍。写入后,沟槽的深度明显变深。实验结果同时表明,利用AFM能直接测量光盘上信息位的形貌参数,进而找出影响光盘质量的直接因素。 相似文献

综述了原子力显微镜(AFM)在光盘质量检测中的应用.AFM能够在nm尺度上直接对光盘及其模板上的信息位几何结构的特征尺寸及其误差进行三维测量,从而可以建立生产工艺参数和信息位几何结构之间、信息位几何结构和盘片电气性能之间的关系,进而找出影响光盘质量的直接原因.用AFM进行光盘质量检测主要有三方面:盘片和模板表面的定性观测;信息位几何结构的半定量分析;信息位特征尺寸的统计分析.定性观测和半定量分析可以对盘片播放的高误差率、凹坑形态和块出错率、凸台形态及其表面粗糙度等参数进行有针对性的检测;而信息位特征尺寸的统计分析则可以对信息位几何结构的关键参数进行面向生产过程的统计分析.所得结论表明AFM在光盘质量检测过程中具有独特的优势. 相似文献

为了解决长时数据存储的难题,开展了以数字格式在蓝宝石光盘表面写入数据的研究工作。根据艾林方程,分析了利用常用无机材料进行数据存储的数据失效时间。描述了在蓝宝石材料为基底的光盘上以数字格式记录数据的基本工艺流程,重点介绍了用于蓝宝石光盘的离子束刻蚀系统。实验结果显示,蓝宝石光盘表面刻蚀的信息坑宽度为0.6μm,深度为0.2μm,磁道节距为1.6μm,符合ISO/IEC 10149:1995规定的CD-ROM格式数据存储要求,表明采用本文提出的方法实现蓝宝石光盘的数字化数据存储是可行的。此外,这种基本工艺流程不仅适用于蓝宝石光盘,同样适用于其它以高度稳定的材料(如石英玻璃)作为基底的光盘。 相似文献

We demonstrate fabrication of a high-quality factor lithium niobate double-disk whispering-gallery microcavity using femtosecond laser assisted ion beam milling. Using this method, two vertically stacked 30-µm diameter disks with a 200-nm gap are fabricated. With our device, an optical quality factor as high as 1.35?×?105 is demonstrated. Patterned lubricant films on magnetic hard disks offer potential advantages in controlled bonding sites, higher average shear strength, and longer durability. However, since the lubricant film thickness is at 1 or 2 nm, characterization of the pattern is difficult. Normal atomic force microscopic techniques can only image very small area in the nanometer range and the sharp tip can potentially modify the pattern. A wide area optical technique is needed to characterize the patterns. This paper examines patterned lubricant film using an optical surface analyzer (OSA) to image the bonded phase and mobile phase of an alcohol functionalized perfluoropolyether (PFPE) on magnetic hard disks. The phase shift signal and reflectivity intensity of the polarized light spectra provide clear optical images of the lubricant film at nanometer thickness. Optical images were successfully obtained before and after the buffing process and the ramp load and unload (L/UL) testing. Results of 100% bonded, 100% mobile, and 20% zigzag patterned lubricant films confirm that the patterned lubricant films can control the bonded/mobile ratio of such films better. 相似文献

A simple yet effective method to generate multi-channel plasma array in water is presented in this paper. Thin circular metal disks sandwiched between dielectric layers were used, allowing the production of large-volume underwater plasma array with higher stability. The system can be further scaled up by stacking multiple metal disks, making it suitable for large-scale industrial water treatment. Generation of UV and reactive species was identified by optical emission spectroscopy. Sterilization experiments were performed. Results show that the device was effective in deactivating E. coli in water over a wide range of initial concentrations ranging from 10(4) to 10(8) CFU/ml. 相似文献

Flying-type sliders with the integration of optical components were developed for Near-Field Recording (NFR) and Far-Field Recording (FFR) technologies. The key design issue was the integration of the optical components with the slider. Due to the size of the lenses mounted on it, the slider had to be relatively large, corresponding to the size of a micro-slider. Also, the non-uniform distribution of the slider body density was incorporated in the design. As for the optical disk substrate, a plastic material such as polycarbonate was investigated because of its manufacturing convenience and cost effectiveness. The flying and tribological performance of the prototype optical sliders on various media were assessed. The results showed that the tribological characteristics of the slider/disk interface were sensitive to several factors including the properties of the disk. Adequate flying characteristics of the optical sliders on glass (NFR) and plastic (FFR) disks could be attained by optimizing these parameters. 相似文献

Specific features of monitoring metrological parameters of optical scales, limbs, or code disks are considered. A concept of building an intelligent mechatronic module on the air bearing basis for a high-performance angle measuring machine is proposed. The result is achieved by using the differential method of measurement in the mechatronic module design.
