When a robust servo system having an integral element has a large error input, it often reveals windup phenomena caused by output saturation. It is very difficult for a strictly proper and high‐order controller to avoid having windup phenomena caused by output saturation. This paper newly proposes the digital robust speed servo system with a complete algorithm for consideration of output saturation. The proposed algorithm completely considers the output saturation of a robust speed controller connected to a PI current controller in series. Moreover, this method can be applied to both a PI speed controller and an H∞ speed controller. In this paper, the design strategy of anti‐windup controller (AWC) for feedback control system is proposed. The proposed method is based on Youla parametrization of linear controllers in the framework of left coprime factorization. Conventional anti‐windup controllers have difficulty in optimization of parameters. The suppression effect of windup phenomena can be adjusted easily with the proposed AWC. 为进一步改善永磁交流伺服系统的动静态性能,设计了一种基于单神经元的参数自学习模糊控制器,它在控制规则数与二维控制器相当的基础上,可实现三维模糊控制的效果。模糊推理方法基于相平面,直接输入连续量进行推理,计算量小。引入的单神经元采用改进的BP算法来实现比例因子的在线自学习。该控制器结构及算法简单,易于解析实现,具有通用性。将其用于永磁交流伺服系统,实验结果验证其控制性能较PI算法更佳,提高了系统的性能。 相似文献

This paper considers a genetic algorithm application to feedforward controllers of speed servo and positioning systems. The system consists of a conventional feedback controller and a feedforward controller. The parameters of the feedforward controller are regarded as the chromosome on a gene. The genetic algorithm is used to tune the parameters of the feedforward controller, the objective of which is to make the feedforward controller a dynamic inverse of the plant. The tracking error between the desired output and the actual output at every sampling period is used to calculate the fitness of one gene. The range of mutation is dependent on the magnitude of the tracking error, which ensures parameter convergence. The effect of fitness function and the width of mutation on tracking performances is investigated. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed genetic algorithm in improving tracking performances. 相似文献

This paper proposes a design method of an optimal deadbeat control system that takes into account the response between the sampling instant. The sequence of the deadbeat control signal that minimizes the quadratic performance index for the manipulated variable and deviation can be obtained easily from the matrix computation using the step response of the system. Then, the series compensation controller and series integral + local feedback compensation controller with fictitious sampler can be designed by using sequence of the control signal. The results of a computer simulation by the present method and application of this method to a speed control system of the inverter-fed induction motor have been studied in order to explore the control effect. This paper proposes a maximum output power control system for variable‐speed small wind generators. The proposed control system adjusts the rotational speed of a single‐phase AC generator to the optimum rotational speed, which yields the maximum output power according to the natural wind speed. Since this adjustment is performed on‐line in order to adapt to variations in wind speed, the rotational speed of the single‐phase AC generator is adjusted by controlling the generated current flowing in an FET (field‐effect transistor) device, serving as the generated power brake, which is linked directly to the single‐phase AC generator. In order to reduce heat loss from the FET device, a PWM (pulse width modulation) controller is introduced. An experimental model of the proposed control system was built and tested, and the validity and practicality of the proposed control system were confirmed by the experimental results. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. control protocol (TCP) flows. The most important feature of the proposed scheme lies in that it can be explicitly tuned with
a single parameter for the trade-off between performance and stability of the AQM control system. It is thus flexible and
easy to use in design. The proposed method and the designed PI controller are verified and compared with other existing AQM
schemes using ns-2 simulator. The results show the advantages of the new PI controller design approach for AQM routers supporting
TCP flows.

In this paper, a current control method for a high‐speed AC motor system is proposed. In high‐speed driving operation, the current controller tends to lose stability because of the dead time caused by computational delay and electromagnetic coupling included in the AC motor model. The main purpose of the proposed method is reduction of the dead time on the current controller. The proposed method is based on model predictive control and optimization of the start timing. This paper proposes a space voltage vector modulation (SVM) method for a speed servo system to obtain a quick current response. The proposed SVM method shortens the control lag time of the conventional SVM inverter. In addition, this proposed method is easily implemented in hardware using an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) because the proposed SVM equations are transformed into expressions that hardly need multiplication. By using the proposed SVM method, the servo system realizes quick and stable current control with wide bandwidth. Moreover, by using PI controllers considering the voltage saturation and the torque limiter to the speed servo system, the servo system carries out stable speed control on voltage saturation. Both the proposed SVM method and the PI controllers considering voltage saturation are applied to the speed servo system of a vector controlled induction motor. The Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) unified power flow controller (UPFC) is installed at the 154 kV Kangjin substation
and is operated on the Kangjin–Jangheung transmission line. This UPFC has been operated by the manual set-point control method;
however, it is very difficult for the operator to determine the operation point of UPFC in real-time. This paper proposes
an automatic supervisory control system for the KEPCO UPFC to overcome the limitations of set-point control and increase the
efficiency of UPFC. The functions and configuration of the system are described and the operation scheme that will be applied
in the system is presented. In order to validate the proposed algorithm, a prototype program is developed and some simulations
are conducted using the data collected from the load dispatch center in the KEPCO system.

This paper deals with the load frequency control (LFC) study of single-area and interconnected two-area power system having diversified power sources. The two areas considered in the present study are identical. Each area is having thermal, hydro and gas based power plants. Split-shaft model of gas turbine is used in the present work as one of the diversified generating unit for the purpose of LFC study. Optimal gains of the classical controllers (like integral controller, proportional–integral controller and proportional–integral–derivative (PID) controller, one installed at a time in the studied models) are obtained by using a novel music-inspired metaheuristic harmony search algorithm (HSA) which incorporates quasi opposition based learning technique for memory initialization and also for generation jumping. Single-area power system with diverse power sources is considered and its optimal transient performances are obtained and compared for step load perturbation. The same approach is further extended to two-area interconnected power system consisting of diverse power sources with nominal values of area input parameters. The performance of PID controller is found to be the best one for the studied power system models. It is also revealed that the performance of the interconnected two-area power system with AC–DC tie line is better in comparison to AC tie line. 相似文献

A new vector control system for permanent magnet synchronous motor drives has been developed. To stabilize the current control loop in the high‐rotating‐speed region, a novel configuration of current controller is introduced. The unique characteristic of the proposed current controller is that the current regulator is connected to the conventional motor model in a series. By analyzing the transfer characteristics of the control, it became clear that the influence of the coupling component between the d–q axes can be deleted theoretically if the control parameters are set properly. The stability and torque response of the proposed vector control system were improved, and the effectiveness of the proposed controller was demonstrated by a time domain simulation and some experiments.
