讨论由深度数据重建三维物体的一种新方法.其基本思想是根据由基于物体旋转的主动 式三角法三维信息获取系统所获取的物体深度数据作为该物体的型值点.再根据型值点进行 网格划分,以便形成满足一定约束条件的空间拓扑网格.最后使用有理Bezier三角曲面片与 矩形曲面片相结合的方法进行曲面拟合与逼近.  相似文献

提出一种二次曲面混合方法,混合曲面由2张有理双三次B6zier曲面片构成,它们之间保持G^2连续,混合曲面与二次曲面间保持G^1连续.给出了混合曲面片控制顶点的显式表示,通过修改2类混合参数可以直观地调节混合方向及混合曲面的形状.另外,混合5个圆锥曲面的例子表明,该方法为多个二次曲面的混合问题提供了有效途径.  相似文献

为了进一步丰富Bezier曲面理论,以及克服原有Bezier曲面理论中的一些不足,在梁锡坤提出的Bernstein函数类的基础上,对基于该类函数的Bezier曲面类的生成方法进行了研究。并给出了两种具体的Bezier曲面类曲面,这两种曲面是基于有理形式调配函数,即RB函数的实用曲面,称之为RB曲面和附权RB曲面。重点研究了RB曲面和附权RB曲面的表示方法和有关性质,同时还分析了这两种曲面之间以及与Bezier曲面之间的关系。得到了较好的结果,使Bezier曲面理论更加完善。  相似文献

The computational requirements and accuracy of two methods for finding the intersection of Bezier surfaces are examined. In both methods, the existence of an intersection curve is confirmed by using the convex hull property of such surfaces. The first method evaluates the intersection by recursive subdivision of two patches with overlapping hulls. The second method detects a point on the intersection curve and then incrementally traces the intersection in the parametric spaces of the two surfaces. With both methods, the intersection of a pair of first-order planar patches must be solved analytically. The intersection is approximated by first-order Bezier patches in the first case and by planar triangles in the second. Overall, the method of incremental tracing is shown to give more accurate results than the method of recursive subdivision  相似文献

The main geometric features of the nonuniform rational B-splines (NURBS) curve and surface representations are described. It is shown that most of these features are already exhibited by conics, which are a special case of NURBS. The properties typical of NURBS are discussed without dwelling on properties already present in polynomial curves. Conic sections and their representations using rational Bezier curves are reviewed. In this paper,a new algorithm wit extrapolation process for computing the ray/surface intersection is presented.Also,a ray is defined to be the intersection of two planes,which are non-orthogonal in general,in such a way that the number of multiplication operations is reduced.In the preprocessing step,NURBS surfaces are subdivded adaptively into rational Bezier patches.Parallelepipeds are used to enclose the respective patches as tightly as possible Therefore,for each ray that hits the enclosure(i.e.,parallelepiped)of a patch the intersection points with the parallelepiped‘s faces can be used to yield a good starting point for the following iteration.The improved Newton iteration with extrapolation process saves CPU time by reducing the number of iteration steps.The intersection scheme is facter than previous methods for which published performance data allow reliable comparison.The method may also be used to speed up tracing the intersection of two parametric surfaces and oter operations that need Newton iteration.  相似文献

Special attention is given to the adaptation of the technique for efficiency to both polynomial and rational Bezier patches. The resulting algorithms are simple and robust. Their speed depends mainly on the surface area of the object being rendered, not on the number of surface patches. The technique is particularly suitable for rapid display of geometrically complex objects. Since the technique directly renders from the definitions of the surfaces without needing polygons, it can maintain a relatively compact database. Several examples with timing are included. The technique described creates smooth, shaded images for parametrically defined surfaces. It depends on a general surface scan to generate a dense set of points that represents the surface. Hidden surfaces are eliminated by sorting the sample points into a z-buffer and retaining the points nearest the viewer. Alternative schemes are given for computing the surface normal for each point in the z-buffer. Conventional illumination routines can then be applied to determine the intensities at each pixel, although the reflection-mapping technique is preferred for this article.  相似文献

Surface development is used in many manufacturing planning operations, e.g., for garments, ships and automobiles. However, most freeform surfaces used in design are not developable, and therefore the developed patterns are not isometric to the original design surface. In some domains, the CAD model is created by interpolating two given space curves. In this paper, we propose a method to obtain a G2 quasi-developable Bezier surface interpolating two arbitrary space curves. The given curves are first split into a number of piecewise Bezier curves and elemental Bezier patches each of which passes through four splitting points are constructed. All neighboring elemental patches are G2 connected and they are assembled optimally in terms of the degree of developability (the integral Gaussian curvature). Experiments show that the final composite Bezier surface is superior to a lofted one which is defined regardless of the final surface developability.  相似文献

This paper presents an approach which enables surface modelling, mesh generation and the Finite Element (FE) analysis to be integrated together to simulate superplastic forming process for complex shaped components. Techniques have been developed to generate an FE mesh over non-four-sided surface areas, the boundaries of which are Bezier curves of arbitrary degree, using a consistent expression. Theoretical evidence is given to determine the number of Bezier triangular patches required for accurately re-constructing die surfaces within a commercial FE solver. Triangular Bezier patches are an important tool for defining smooth surfaces over arbitrary triangular meshes. The previously introduced 4-split method interpolates the vertices of a 2-manifold triangle mesh by a set of tangent plane continuous triangular Bezier patches of degree five. The resulting surface has an explicit closed form representation and is defined locally. In this paper, we introduce a new method for visually smooth interpolation of arbitrary triangle meshes based on a regular 4-split of the domain triangles. Ensuring tangent plane continuity of the surface is not enough for producing an overall fair shape. Interpolation of irregular control-polygons, be that in 1D or in 2D, often yields unwanted undulations. Note that this undulation problem is not particular to parametric interpolation, but also occurs with interpolatory subdivision surfaces. Our new method avoids unwanted undulations by relaxing the constraint of the first derivatives at the input mesh vertices: The tangent directions of the boundary curves at the mesh vertices are now completely free. Irregular triangulations can be handled much better in the sense that unwanted undulations due to flat triangles in the mesh are now avoided.  相似文献

The offset surfaces to non-developable quadratic triangular Bézier patches are rational surfaces. In this paper we give a direct proof of this result and formulate an algorithm for computing the parameterization of the offsets. Based on the observation that quadratic triangular patches are capable of producing C1 smooth surfaces, we use this algorithm to generate rational approximations to offset surfaces of general free-form surfaces.  相似文献
